Absolutely Amazing Photo /DJ services

Let me start by saying that Wesley Works as the most professional, attentive, flexible, and amazing team of vendors anyone could ever ask for! After postponing our wedding they gave us absolutely no hassle whatsoever
and were so incredibly kind and understanding during the covid pandemic.
The photographers were amazing! They captured everything we wanted and more, and were absolutely perfect. They did such an amazing job. We also were fortunate
enough to hire Wesley works for our DJ as well, and they killed it! They were so fun, and did an amazing job. They were so organized through out the whole ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, announcements and overall did an
amazing job. If you're looking for photography /DJ services, PLEASE do yourself a huge favor and hire Wesley!

Best wedding ever

That is what my guests said as they were leaving my reception on Saturday! There is no way this would have been amazing without Rich from Wesley works! He was fantastic. We had a crowd that loved to dance and just have a good time. I have a video of our dance floor and Rich saying " this is the best conga line I've ever seen!!" The entire room was full of dancers!! Rich let my guests make the party and kept it going with the perfect songs that he just knew they would want. He checked in with the Groom and I so often and asked us our opinion on everything.
Before the actual day Wesley met with us and planned the entire time line. He was so wonderful and helped us figure out what we wanted so seamlessly. We would recommend Wesley works to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our night the best night of our lives!!! I cannot say enough about how much we are so thankful for you!!

Friendly, knowledgeable, professional

When we went to the Lehigh Valley Bridal show, we were really looking for a DJ and Photographer who were not loud or obnoxious. This is where Wesley Works really stood out. There were a couple other booths that met our criteria, as well as, some references from our venue. Ultimately, we narrowed our choices down by vibe, price, convenience, and the style of photos on the website. Wesley Works has great competitive/comparable pricing. After speaking with Wes and having him explain their process, we knew that Wesley Works was the right company to have for our wedding. We loved the convenience of having the Photographers and DJs from the same company!
Shay and Petra were our photographers and Aaron and Chris were our DJs. They all did an amazing job!!! Shay and Petra were great at making sure we got all the pictures that we wanted and plenty of ones we didn’t even think of! They were so good at taking the lead and directing us on what would make great pictures. Aaron and Chris were so nice and played the perfect songs at the perfect times! They were very helpful in making sure everyone was up and dancing. We loved how they were able to get everyones attention and keeping the energy alive without being obnoxious!
100% recommend Wesley Works for both their Photography & DJ services, especially Shay, Petra, Aaron & Chris!

Great music kept everyone dancing

Very easy company to work with and they took everything we said and played exactly what we wanted. We were so happy with everything and the dance floor was always filled. We have heard lots of positive feedback from our guests as well!

Loved working with Wes and the team.

We loved working with this company! We didn’t know what to expect, but they walk you through the process step by step. We knew after our meeting that our dj would take care of everything! Our friends band played a few songs and Wesley works was in contact with them to provide equipment and make sure everything ran smoothly. They made our wedding stress free and the most important thing- everyone was on the dance floor!

Perfectly Priced!

We searched through so many photographers and DJs that it became overwhelming. Our decision finally came down to the fact that with Wesley Works we were able to “bundle” the DJ and photographers for less than the price of most photographers alone. Specifically, with other photographers we would have had to compromise on the time limit or number of photographers for the day, but with Wesley Works you get two photographers for the whole day! When we spoke to Wesley he was extremely reassuring and willing to explain how the whole process works. We very much appreciated his support and explanations. When we went to drop off the deposits, everyone there was very helpful and friendly. The ease of having the DJ and Photographers under one company is perfect and worth the price, which is already the best for what you get! Will definitely recommend Wesley Works!

Wesley Works was the perfect DJ for our wedding. We live 5 hours from the Lehigh Valley, so we were never able to meet with Wes in person. However, this was not a problem as Wes was sooo easy to work with. Wes was easy to get in contact with and really understood the music and feel that we wanted for our reception. On our wedding day our DJ was Max and his assistant was Anna. The music selection was perfect, and Max was really able to read the crowd. He kept the dance floor crowded from start to finish and was also able to play all of our favorites. We received numerous comments from friends and family about how great our DJ was. The attention to detail and customer service were exemplary. We would highly recommend Wesley Works to anyone!!

We had the pleasure of working with Wes and his team for both our DJ and photography services. I have worked with Wes in the past, so there was no hesitation when making our decision for such an important vendor for our wedding day. They did not disappoint! Wes was GREAT! We didn't want to pick ceremony music and when I watched my wedding video back, He chose the PERFECT songs for everyone to walk down the aisle to. I am not the biggest dancer in the world, but we sure had a blast on the dance floor!! Beyond happy with his uplighting and GOBO (dance floor logo) as well.

The staff at wesley works was absolutely wonderful during our big day. For us they provided DJ services, lighting, and a Photo Booth. The music they played was PERFECT and exactly what we wanted for our playlist. All of our guests were dancing all night long, and people kept telling me how awesome our DJ was! They even put together an album for our guests who participated in the Photo Booth. Awesome vendor, would highly recommend!

We used Wesley Works as for our May wedding. Wes was so professional and caring throughout the entire process. We went to meet with Wes and walked out his door knowing he is who we wanted to be our DJ for the wedding. We really felt like Wes was truly trying to make our wedding music as personable as possible. Wes did the music for the ceremony and dinner and dancing ( and worth the money). It was all perfect and we couldn't have been more pleased. Wedding planning is very stressful, but working with Wes made me feel so much more comfortable that I didn't have to worry that something with music was going to be wrong, or that people wouldn't be up dancing and having a great time. Thank you Wes for all of your help during the process, you were wonderful to work with!

Wesley Works did a fantastic job at our wedding. We planned our wedding from a different state, and they were very accommodating and responsive. Their attention to detail during the planning process made our big day flawless. They were well-prepared and nailed all of the important moments during our wedding. They played our requested songs and mixed in some great songs that had our guests cutting the rug all night. Everyone we dealt with at Wesley Works was very polite and helpful and we’re so thankful we picked them for our wedding.

We LOVED Wesley Works!! We booked their photography/DJ/uplighting service and it was all amazing. The first time my fiancé and I met Wes, I told him that we want a high energy DJ to keep our guests on the dance floor. He did not let us down; our dance floor was packed all night! Our guests are STILL commenting that they have never seen such a full floor for the entire night. Our photographers were awesome. Dee worked with me for most of the day and she made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. I especially loved her detail and creativity when photographing my accessories! My fiancé worked with Shea and he spoke so highly of her! We received our pictures so quickly and seeing each moment they captured brought tears to my eyes all over again. We will definitely be using Wesley Works again in the future. THANK YOU Wesley- we loved your work!! :)

My husband and I cannot thank Wesley Works and Wes enough for their amazing work at our wedding on May 9th at Mountain Springs Lake Resort. Communication and costumer service was top notch from start to finish.
After our very first phone call with Wes, my husband and I knew that we were in good hands. We loved Wes' professionalism, insightfulness, and sincerity throughout the entire planning process. Having never met him or had the opportunity to see him in action (being that we live out of state) some thought we were nuts choosing what was unknown to us, but we were confident that he was the best fit for us and our wedding. And he most definitely was!
It was an absolute pleasure working with him and his assistant during the day of our wedding. Aside from our guests loving the music selection during the reception, many commented on how beautiful the outdoor ceremony was and how it was one of the first wedding ceremonies that they could actually hear clearly and enjoy (even the people in the back), all thanks to him. Others commented on how wonderful it was that the music during dinner wasn't overpowering and how they could have a normal conversation with out having to raise their voices. The music during the reception was a great mix for our crowd and got everyone up on the dance floor. A guest who is not one to dance, said he appreciated the fact that the music was never "too loud" where he needed to leave the party. Instead, he was able to watch and still talk to the people at his table. Overall, Wes and his assistant NAILED IT!
Along with everything mentioned, I personally appreciated the fact that Wes continued to check in with my husband and I (with a huge smile on his face) throughout the night to make sure we were Ok and enjoying ourselves. He really was fantastic. Everything was timed out wonderfully and ran smoothly in my eyes. Thank you!

I want to thank Wesley Works and more specifically, Wesley, himself, for creating such an amazing and memorable night at our wedding reception. I was so nervous when researching DJs and was blown away during my first conversation with Wes. Unlike other DJ services, Wes was willing to spend an unlimited amount of time with me during our first conversation to make sure I had all my questions answered. He sold me there! Planning was incredibly easy and he not only respected our music choices, but completely understood them as well!

Wes played our "must haves" and continued with the theme that was clearly apparent in those options. He was also willing to help both my husband and myself pull off two surprises! My husband surprised me with a special dance with my grandmother to one of my favorite songs and Wes helped me to pull of a surprise for my husband (some delicious cheesesteak eggrolls).

Wes stopped by our table a few times during the reception to make sure we were happy with the music and asked if we wanted anything different. It was so great to have someone there so attentive to our needs. Our dance floor was packed all night which was great to see because our guests varied in age from grandparents to young teens... all of who danced the night away!!

Wes kept the energy up all night and even helped to get our guests outside in a timely fashion for our sparkler send off!!

We also used Wesley Works for our uplighting which truly added to the look we were trying to achieve. We used the amber lighting and it added to the classic look we were trying to achieve. Wes truly knew exactly where to place the lights to make sure we had the right look all night.

Wes went to college with my now husband - so we knew he would be great! We were just lucky he agreed to travel from PA to the Jersey Shore for our wedding... The DJ was one of the most important decisions I made as it was key to the reception I hoped to create. We really wanted a fun, party feel - with only a few traditional elements. The music was really key. Wes spent a huge chunk of time in our pre-meeting going over details and getting a feel for what we wanted (and more importantly what we did NOT want). We made a game plan on how to get people moving - and keep them moving. Seriously - we had a packed dance floor the entire night. People had so much fun they are still talking about it... His song selections were spot on. He knows how to read the crowd and make adjustments based on what people are responding to... Wes - we thank you again for helping to make our wedding and ceremony exactly what we envisioned. You are the best !

Wes Barrett provides provides service a service in the Lehigh valley that is second dinner that is second to none. Our relationship with Wesley Works started off rocky...we were unsure if they would be available for our date (it was less than a year away and we were afraid, due to his popularity, that we would miss out), and wanted to try and snag Wes as our DJ on top of that...and every time we tried to meet the weather did not cooperate! We put off our meeting for days because of power outages and hurricanes, but when we finally met with Wes when the office's power returned and found that our date was available, we jumped on it. A good DJ was huge to me. It makes or breaks the party. I've been to weddings where the music was perfect, complimented the crowd and made it fun...but I've also been to weddings where a perfectly fine DJ just didn't get things going. I knew we wouldn't have to worry about this with Wes. Planning was easy, and choosing our music was fun! We tried to keep it fun and full of sing alongs and 90's tunes that will take people back, and Wes gladly played all of our requests. Wes was attentive and helpful during the reception as well - frequently checking in with me and making sure it's going well, asking if there were things I wanted to hear, and making sure I was having fun. He kept the energy up all night long and even helped me pull of a big surprise when I entered the venue on the back of the Nittany Lion to surprise our guests and my husband. We also used Wesley Work's photo booth services for our reception. The two attendants were fantastic and you could tell they were having fun, too! The guests LOVED the photo booth and the online gallery as well as the photo strip book we received are one of the most hysterical keepsakes we have of the day. If you can book with Wesley Works...do it! You won't be disappointed.

We had an amazing time dancing at our wedding with all of the great songs Wesley Works played during our wedding. I hardly even noticed they were there and they set everything up to play at our outdoor ceremony and they during our reception.

The music was awesome and everyone was dancing the entire time. I even had multiple people comment that the music was amazing. Thank you!

We were so happy with Wesley Work's dj services at our wedding. Our two dj's were very professional and listened to everything we asked for. We met with wes prior to the wedding. He was great. And whenever we asked the dj for a change he said no problem and made it happen. I also liked that he warned me before we were about to do the cake cutting, special dances, bouquet toss, etc. So i knew exactly what was happening. They played a great mix of oldies, classics, and modern music. Everyone loved it.
We also used them as our photographer. Jen and Deanna were awesome. They made us feel comfortable and knew the best places for pictures and poses. We would definitely recommend them!

Wes was great to work with. He allowed me to pick out all of the songs I wanted played throughout the night. He was very comfortable to work with. He was very professional (really looked the part and keep the night flowing with his announcements for the bouquet toss, garter toss, etc.). He was willing to travel a bit to our venue and was able to set up music in three different areas for us.

Scoot was our DJ, I've known him for awhile and know he does a fantastic job. He played the music we asked him to play and played requests from our families (especially my mom's!). My sister in law loved him so much that she wants him to travel to Ohio in October for her wedding! We had several friends tell us it was the best wedding they've been to. People were on the dance floor all night and we didn't have to worry about lame music killing the fun!

Working with Wesley Works and their crew was an exceptional experience. Matt, our DJ made us feel like everything was completely taken care of! He worked seamlessly with our other vendors and the venue and kept me in the loop just enough so that I knew what was coming up, but that I wasn't distracted.

I was a bit nervous about keeping the energy up during the receptions since my husband and I have such diverse families--but Matt found a way to meet everyone's needs--I think everyone was up and dancing at one point or another :-))

we used wesley works for dj and photography for our wedding. our experience was flawless from the day we met with the owner to book almost two years before the wedding right up to our wedding day. mike was our dj and was awesome. honestly, I could not have imagined anything better. it was perfect. he truly made the wedding. song after song after song was simply amazing and everyone danced the entire night. other than the amazing music provided, just organizing the evening of introductions, speeches, cake cutting and everything, he was completely on top of things and it all transitioned so smoothly.

the photographers were also unbelievable too. they instantly became part of our crew and in hindsight i cannot imagine them not being there. they helped me get through a very stressful beginning of the day which i was so grateful for. they got every shot we wanted and had them to us as soon as we got home from the honeymoon which was awesome too. i dont know how they even got some of the shots they got. we also loved how it never felt like they were constantly taking our picture.

all in all i would highly recommend wesley works to everyone. two of my friends used them for their weddings and said the same thing. we got exactly the wedding we wanted and then some and they were worth every penny.

A little expensive but well worth it. We couldnt be happier with our photos and we have a full jump drive with all of them on it so we can print whatever we want whenever we want. They took the time to get pictures in several different areas I'm all different styles of posing. Loved them!

The DJ for our wedding was Mike with Wesley Works and he was great! Right off the bat I said that when we picked a DJ I wanted to meet the person who woudl be there the day of my event. Wes was wonderful and organized that Mike (our DJ), Wes (the owner) and my mother (I live out of town so was not in on the meeting) all sat and discussed what we were looking for. They were just great spending an hour answering all our questions and taking the time to get to know us! Then when my husband and I were back for a detail meeting Wes went through everything, helping us pick out the songs we wanted and go through suggested timeline etc. Worry free and FUN! Then the day of the wedding, everyone danced ALL night, everything went off without a hitch. The DJ can truely make or break your wedding and i would highly recommend using Wesley Works as your DJ for your wedding!! :-)

I was more than impressed with Wes and his entire team. Wes went out of his way to make sure we had the perfect music and the best photographers. Drew was awesome. You never even knew they were there. They fit right in with the guests. They were very helpful and have an eye for background and lighting. Whatever you want, Wes will make sure you have it to ensure the perfect day. He understands the importance of customer service. If I ever have an event that would require DJ or photgraphy services I would look no further.

They did an awesome job and handed all the picture rights over to me. The team was all very professional and very flexible. They were all about making the bride and grooms day perfect. I booked way in advance, but that's only because I knew I was going to use them but you don't have to book so far in advance, if they have the date open that you want....they will do it!

Wesley Works was great! I am so happy we went with the package deal for DJ and photography as it was very convenient. I have yet to receive our photos so I am not able to speak to the quality of those as of yet. The DJ was great-- very fun and read our crowd well. The only thing I wish was that he made more of announcement as to what items could be taken from the reception tables and which could not. We had a lot of people walking off with table numbers and such rather than just the flowers and vases. This, however, was super small and did not impact our evening. We had two photographers on the day of the wedding. They were extremely fun and professional. I did not feel like I had to micromanage them (which for a type-A personality is extremely difficult). They had a lot of great ideas for photos and I feel like we got a lot of great shots. The initial meeting with Wesley was extremely helpful and reassuring. I wanted to surprise my fiance by singing a song at the reception and they were helpful and flexible with that as well. It turned out great! So happy we went with them and will update once photos come back!

Our photographers were absolutely amazing! Carter and Tia were very relaxed and helped the day go by very smoothly. They came up with different photo ideas that we never would have came up with that ended up coming out amazing. We got our photos almost a week before the expected deadline and couldn't be happier. They are a bit pricey, but WELL WORTH IT! We're so happy we decided to go with Wesley Works Photography!

Wesley works did an awesome job. Both photographers came to each site promptly. They worked with the elements and all the people involved. Carter and Amy were the best and the pictures came out beautifully!!!! Thank you so much.

Wes was awesome. So professional but young and fun too. He did a great job of using our play list but adding in his own songs to keep people on the dance floor. He was not "cheesy" at all, which is what we requested. We just wanted him to play music and make a couple announcements. He was great.

Drew was great to work with and so did Kate. They are so easy going and almost fit right in with our guests. And during the day, I had never felt that they were in my way. And yet I was told that I have 2000+ pictures with minor editing. They were very helpful during the wedding day, running around and helping us coordinate as I didn't want to see my groom the day of while we still want to take some pictures with the bridal party beforehand. Wes coordinated before and after the day on the logistics and he is great to work with as well. One caveat is that I haven't seen the pictures yet, so I may come back with more comments! But looking at their past pictures, I am very confident that they will look great.

An incredible experience!

We used Wesley Works for both our photography and DJ. Both services were amazing and we were beyond pleased. Our photographers, Jim & DeAnna, were the best! They made it such a relaxed experience and you couldn't even tell they were there which made all of our pictures look natural! Our DJ, Aaron was also a blast. I would recommend Wesley Works to any new bride & groom and friend!

We just booked with Wesley Works for our Entertainment for our Wedding. Wes the owner made special accommodations to meet with us around our schedule. He didn't try to over sell us on adding more to our package and was very honest about what he thought about the lighting at our reception. We also enjoyed him at a friends wedding and it was a great time!!

We had a lot of special requests and moments and they did everything we asked of them perfectly. They were slow to respond to e-mails often, which is really my only complaint. Our DJ was Chris and I'd give him a perfect 5!

Wesley did a very good job at the reception. He had the schedule of events for the evening and everything was done according to the schedule. He played all the songs I requested and kept the party going all through the night.

Wesley Works allows you to customize your wedding music and photography based on your couple style. We weren't asked to choose a "package" or fit within a mold, instead we met with the Wesley Works team and they molded our entertainment to fit our vision. It was exactly what we were looking for and they made our day feel like it was truly "ours".

My dj was great, a little pricey and although the crew got everyone dancing, I had imagined a bit more gusto. In the end, we all had a great time and I thought Wesley Works was worth it.

The good and the bad

We chose to hire Wesley Works to DJ our ceremony and reception at the Glasbern Inn in May 2019. Upon meeting with Wes, we were instantly impressed with how professional, knowledgeable and organized he is. Working with him was so easy, and he seemed to understand the type of music we wanted played during each part of our day. He was quick to respond to our questions, which we really appreciated.
We met with Wes about a month before the wedding, and had a very detailed meeting about what songs we wanted to hear and the type of music we wanted to hear during the cocktail hour, dinner hour and dancing. We put together a list of downtempo songs for the cocktail and dinner hours. We had requested that the music for dancing be more geared towards 80’s alternative to today, and gave Wes about 7 songs and 5 or so bands that we’d like to hear (Beck, New Order, Susto, Deathcab, etc). My husband and I spent countless hours painstakingly curating our playlist.
After our final meeting, we received a Google document containing our playlists. There were several mistakes which needed to be corrected across multiple iterations. We would send a revised document, only to receive a document for review that contained new mistakes. This felt like hitting a moving target and was frustrating. We were still editing the revised document two days before our wedding. This was one of the more stressful parts of the whole wedding planning.
Despite our careful planning, the DJ often strayed from the music we wanted to hear, especially during the reception. When I approached our DJ Richard to ask why he was playing Whitney Houston, he indicated that her music was not on the “Do Not Play” list, and seemed to be a bit unsure as to what “80’s alternative to today” meant. From speaking with him briefly, he thought we wanted to hear 80’s music as well as alternative to today, despite having all of our requested music and bands be from the alternative genre.
Our guests seemed to enjoy themselves, which was important. However, my husband and I knew that the music he played wasn’t what we asked for, so that was very disappointing. After all the time we put into planning the music we wanted to hear for our day, it was sad to see that vision not carried out as well as we hoped it would be. Richard did correctly play our requested songs for our big moments (processional, recessional, first dance), so I’m relieved that worked out.

Unprofessional and disrespectful to their clients

We used Wesley Works for both DJ and photography services at our wedding in April, with mixed results.

Initially, everything went smoothly—the company was organized and responsive. However, looking back, there were two red flags that we should have addressed and one afterthought:

1. We didn’t get the opportunity to check in and finalize plans with the actual DJ or photographer the weeks before the wedding.
2. The owner and another employee were the main points of contact for all communication, and we didn’t speak with the actual DJ until about half an hour before our entrances. Wes is professional and very detailed in his meetings and Dylan was responsive in managing the song lists, but there seems to be a broken link in the chain from planning to big day.
Their online system for managing song selections and photo plans is very user-friendly and makes changes easy. However, they seem to cut corners and lack the personal touch we experienced from our other vendors. If you decide to work with them, I recommend negotiating a split payment for the photography services—don’t pay in full until they deliver on their guarantees.

About 2–3 weeks after the wedding, we emailed them to inquire about the timeline for receiving our photos. Their promotional material guaranteed a three-week turnaround, which was important to us because we wanted to use a professional picture for our thank-you cards. I was told the photographer was going through personal issues, which I completely understand.

However, we still had to follow up, and we didn’t receive our pictures until about a month after the wedding—later than promised, but not a huge issue. Communication was lacking and we had to initiate.

That evening, my husband and I viewed the online album together on our TV. Most of the pictures were beautiful, and we were feeling sentimental as we relived our special day on our one-month anniversary. But as we scrolled through the proofs, we came across a solo photo of one of the DJs, which was odd. Then, we found a second photo of the same DJ giving a thumbs-up over a remembrance table we had set up in honor of family members who couldn't be with us, including one who had recently passed. This put a damper on what was otherwise a memorable evening. We were heartbroken and remain extremely disappointed in Wesley Works.
This situation, and their response to it, is why this review isn’t instead, a solid 4-star review.

The big question is: why were there any pictures of the DJ in our wedding photo album in the first place? We had to ask them to remove those pictures from the online album to spare our parents the pain before sharing the link with our family.

We addressed the issue with the owner, but we didn’t get the courtesy of a call. Their email apology felt dismissive and insincere. It boiled down to something like, “We’re sorry those pictures made it into the final proofs, but our employees have grandparents too, so it wasn’t meant maliciously” bundled with some overshared details about why some of the employees had issues. I won’t go into further detail, but if my manager used my personal life as an excuse for my actions, I’d be mortified.

Despite feeling disrespected, my husband and I decided not to ask for a refund, even though we paid in advance, tipped, and fed the staff at our event. We were told that our conversation was constructive, but if we left a negative review, it would be like wearing a scarlet letter. Well, here we are. This is what an ineffective response and disrespect earns you—it's called accountability.

In conclusion, while Wesley Works may appear professional on the surface, their staff lacks the maturity and professionalism needed for such an important event. We received similar feedback from family and friends who were in attendance, some of whom work in the catering industry, and they agreed that this behavior was disrespectful and unprofessional.

We were told that we would get a dj and assistant. The assistant never showed. The dj didn't even know who was "assigned" to him to find out where he was. He never played the recessional song so my husband and I had to walk back down the aisle to silence, then he started the wrong song when the bridal party was exiting. He only played the wrong song for 10 seconds before switching to the other one which made it ridiculously obvious that it was wrong. The DJ, Mike, had no MC skills what so ever and I had to shout to tell people things, like we are cutting the cake now, etc. He had a crappy back up generator when the power went out and couldn't handle basic things like getting a microphone to work. The best man had to shout his speech to the guests only made more difficult since the dj was talking to someone during that time. I also had to take time out of my day to go over the names of people being introduced and other things that were covered in a meeting that he attended weeks before the event. I would never recommend this service!
