Wesley Harden is truly an exceptional photographer. From the moment we first connected with Wes, his kindness and encouragement put us completely at ease. He brought so much energy and positivity to our shoot that it genuinely made the entire experience fun — something we didn’t expect, especially since we’ve never considered ourselves very photogenic.
Wesley went above and beyond before, during, and even after the shoot. His level of service is honestly out of this world. Wes guided us through every step with patience and enthusiasm, making everything feel effortless.
And the photos? Absolutely amazing. They turned out exactly how we imagined — if not better. He captured our special day in a way that felt authentic, beautiful, and perfectly “us.”

Wes was incredible! Throughout the whole process, he was very communicative, kept in touch regularly, and answered all of my questions as they came up over the course of the months leading up to our wedding. He gave great advice and really put us at ease. He did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos. Our engagement photos were done in Yosemite and Wes knew all the best spots! Normally, I feel kind of awkward in front of the camera, but we had a great time and our photos were stunning! For our wedding, Wes really helped keep things moving and kept us on track without taking away from the moment. He was thoughtful and encouraging and supportive throughout everything. He got every family photo I asked for (and we have big families) and they all came out beautifully! Our wedding was at a newer venue, so I don't think Wes had been there before, but he quickly scouted out some prime locations for photos and I am so in awe of how amazing the pictures are! Not to mention we received over 300 sneak peeks back lightning fast and the remainder of our gallery not much longer later. We truly loved the experience we had with Wes and I cannot recommend him enough. He has an incredible combination of outstanding people skills, organizational skills, and truly exceptional photography skills. If you are looking for a photographer in the Bay Area or Yosemite, look no further! -

Wes was an absolutely incredible photographer and a vital part of our wedding journey. My husband and I decided to get married in Yosemite National Park, and we knew we needed someone who not only had the skills but also the expertise to guide us through the unique challenges of a destination wedding.
After speaking with several photographers who specialized in Yosemite weddings, Wes stood out immediately. During our phone consultation, his organization, straightforward approach, and deep knowledge of the area gave us so much confidence. Over the two years of our engagement, he was consistently there for us, answering our questions and addressing our concerns. No matter how busy his schedule was, Wes always made us feel like we were his top priority.
As we got closer to our wedding, Wes went above and beyond to ensure we had all the details down. He worked closely with us on the timeline, walked us through the logistics, and made sure we felt completely ready. On our wedding day, Wes was not just a photographer—he was a calming and supportive presence. He made us feel comfortable and at ease, kept everything running smoothly, and was attentive to every detail, from straightening ties to adjusting necklaces.

Even though it was one of his busiest seasons, Wes managed to send us sneak peeks within just a few days—and they were stunning. It felt like we had already received an entire album. Wesley was the most amazing wedding photographer! Thank you not only for being professional but also very personal and genuine! He has great attention to detail, and captures the essence and magic of the moments.
Wesley was there with me for the whole 18 months! Not only he was giving me tips and guides regarding wedding photography planning, but he was also a huge help in coordinating and planning our destination wedding all the way from Houston to Yosemite. To deciding the best season, location, time of day, and our ultimate vision, he was always very easy to communicate with, and I felt like he was an open book - he definitely helped me brainstorm. It really did feel like I was not alone in planning my wedding. He was more than just an amazing photographer. He coordinated with my wedding coordinator smoothly and even offered to drive myself with two of my bridesmaids from Tenaya Lodge to Glacier Point Amphitheater. He was very thoughtful and even provided us water bottles for the drive up. He did not need to do that at all. I cannot thank you enough and I am glad I found you and chose you as our wedding photographer.
When our wedding gallery arrived, my husband has no other words but say that the photos were as beautiful as how we remembered it. I was floored! It looked like it was a photoshoot for a magazine spread. My husband is a man of few words and did not have a great liking for our engagement photos taken by another photographer, so I was really hoping that for our wedding photos, that we would find the best. And I am so glad that we found Wesley.
He was the first photographer I spoke with when looking for vendors and we had almost an hour of call. I knew we had to choose him because he made a great connection that nobody else had. I would say the connection between photographer and client's is one of the most important parts of choosing a wedding photographer.
He helped made sure our vision came to life, and he made us very comfortable! The whole day was so fun, and it felt like a really good friend was taking our professional photos 😭

Wesley isn't just an OUTSTANDING wedding photographer, he was our trusted wedding go-to resource for selecting the most beautiful ceremony location and putting together a perfect itinerary for our sunrise elopement. When we told Wesley we had a dream to hike in our wedding clothes to say our I do's, Wesley was right on board to be there every step of the way! My husband and I have never traveled to Yosemite before, and Wesley helped us plan all the details to make our elopement a dream come true. When we had questions, he answered them promptly and with such genuine care. He checked in with us at all the right times ahead of the wedding date, which took the load off of us in planning! On our actual wedding day, Wesley was an absolute PRO. He was there early, and communicated with us on where to find him. When it came down to taking actual photos, my husband and I were nervous as this was our first professional shoot, but Wesley's calm demeanor and guidance made it SO EASY. He laughed with us, led us around to all the greatest sceneries for photography, and the few wedding guests we had come along with us all asked where we found him---he was THAT great with everyone. We were shocked to get an extensive digital album of all our photographs within two weeks! We can't wait to come back to Yosemite again, and we absolutely know we'll be reaching out to Wesley again for future anniversary shoots. Cannot recommend him enough. Obsessed with our wedding photos—Wesley is the best!
Wesley is AMAZING. We could not be happier with our entire experience with him. I messaged him right when we started planning the wedding and he was so quick to respond, so friendly, and I absolutely loved his style so we booked him ASAP. We have never taken professional photos before and are pretty awkward so we scheduled an engagement shoot in Yosemite and he knew exactly what to do and where to go. People thought our pictures were fake because of how beautiful they were! We had all of our closest friends and family with us on our wedding day, and everyone was SO impressed with how he handled our big group of dinguses. He knew exactly what to tell everyone to do and all of our pictures are amazing because of it! He captured our day so perfectly and we got our pictures back incredibly quickly and we are just so happy we have been looking at them all day and I want to frame all of them!!! 1000000/10 recommend Wesley -

I don’t know where to start, other than to say of all of our awesome vendors, Wes is the one I am happiest to have found. From our first phone call before booking, Wes stood out. We were on the phone for an hour where Wes walked us through his process, got to know our wants and needs, and answers our questions. He was so kind, thorough, and intentional. Immediately we knew we wanted to work with him. We met via zoom a few weeks before the wedding and went through a timeline of the day, and Wes made sure we hadn’t missed anything on his forms to make sure he captured all our special moments.
NOW for the day of the wedding. Wes texted us ETAs, arrived early, took the most beautiful detail shots (at a venue he’s never been to before), set up for our first look, and knocked out bridal party photos before the ceremony. He grabbed us for golden hour, and only needed about 15-20 min to get the most natural and beautiful couples photos. A few awesome pics during the reception and he was outta there.
SOMEHOW ONLY TWO WEEKS LATER HE HAD OUR ENTIRE PORTFOLIO READY TO GO?!?!? They are the most gorgeous photos and I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of them. Not only did Wes capture all the details we cared so much about, he was able to highlight the whole mood and vibe of our day, how happy we all were and how much fun we all had together.
Wes is the most professional and enjoyable photographer to work with and he made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. I would highly recommend Wes to my friends and family, and anyone looking for a truly personal experience with their wedding photographer -

We had a 8:00 am wedding at the top of Yosemite National Park and he showed up at 6 am prepared and ready. He made sure our day went perfectly! He was organized and well-prepared. He helped us create a schedule drove us around and made our day perfect. The pictures turned out amazing! He captured every great moment! He is AMAZING AND GREAT at his job! He also sends you a cool personalized flash drive & box a few weeks after the wedding. Thank you for making our day amazing! I am so thankful for you! I can’t say enough positive things about Wes, as a photographer, wedding coordinator, and generally as a human being. I’d be lying if I told you I did a great job planning my wedding as my fiancé and I both started new jobs at the time and were planning our whole wedding out-of-state. Wes not only comforted us through the whole planning process but was also willing to meet us the day before the wedding to act as our coordinator since we had only seen The Palace of Fine Arts once before our ceremony. He was familiar with the location of our venue and offered valuable insider knowledge on how to setup the ceremony for the best framing and lighting, coordinated the whole ceremony day-of, directed traffic pattern during the event, and of course, taking the most AMAZING pictures that we will cherish for all the years to come. Our wedding would not have been the same if it weren’t for Wes – his talent and professionalism made our day possible, but his support and personable attitude made it an unforgettable experience. Wonderful Yosemite Bridal Session
Wes is hands down the best photographer I’ve ever come across. He was great to work with and his knowledge of the Yosemite area was invaluable. Despite it raining intermittently throughout our session, he kept my wife, our daughter and myself all motivated and was able to capture some amazing photographs that we continually receive compliments on. Where does one begin, I cannot recommend Wesley enough. Myself and my husband were married Cathedral Beach, Yosemite, it's one thing to have beautiful scenery but it is another to have a photographer to capture those moments. We had never had professional pictures taken before, but Wesley made us feel comfortable and also natural. In addition to this, it's no secret that Yosemite is popular, but somehow Wesley was able to avoid the majority of the crowds and provided us with some intimate photos away from the other tourists. Wesley knows the park inside and out (as we were coming from Florida/England), he was able to guide us for the day. He captured some intimate moments of the two of us, alongside incredible of photos of our friends and family. Not only are myself and my husband grateful but our friends and family has nothing but compliments for Wesley. If you are looking to for a Yosemite Photographer, Wesley is (in my opinion) the only one you should choose! These pictures hang proudly in our home. Thank you Wesley for everything! -

Weddings take planning and money. Of course, the list is long, but I'll stick to these two. It became apparent quickly that getting a quality photographer was pretty important. My beau and I don't have many pictures together, so capturing our special day was especially important. I cannot rave enough about Wesley. It was easy to get a sense of his style and personality from his website. The photos and testimonials convey his dedication to an event. Being a first-time groom, I appreciated his insight and help not only during our initial contact but through his entire involvement in the wedding. He worked well with my crazy and loud family. The wedding went by 1,000 miles a minute, but Wesley had no problem getting beautiful shots and helping keep things run smoothly. The photos were truly amazing. Wesley is an absolute GEM. After multiple calls with several other photographers, I was started to feel uncertain about eloping in Yosemite, but after finding Wesley and talking with him, he really put all of my worries at ease.
After my first phone call with him, I knew he was the right photographer for my husband and me. Wesley is extremely passionate about his work. He absolutely loves Yosemite and knows the area extremely well. He gave an entire run down of what to expect so there were no surprises, and even gave advice on what to bring since we would be hiking to Taft point for photos as well. He went over every detail that you could possibly imagine, was extremely communicative, and very polite. He even helped us create a timeline since we had no idea what we were doing, and he made sure that we included, and allotted time, for everything that was important to my husband and me.
My husband and I have been together for six years and have never had professional photos taken. Neither of us our photogenic, but Wesley made taking photos one of the most comfortable and enjoyable experiences. We both look absolutely amazing in all of our photos!
Wesley came up with so many ideas for our wedding day, and was quick to find creative ways to include things, like my grandpa’s motorcycle, into our photos (which I had never even thought to include). He made our day that much more magical and personal. Wesley is caring, fun, extremely creative, and his attention to detail is phenomenal. He’s also just a complete blast to be around, and his outgoing personality made it feel like being around a longtime friend. Several guests thought that we had known Wesley for years, and were shocked to find out that our wedding day was the first time we had ever met him in person!
We lucked out with Wesley on our wedding day. He not only gave us beautiful photos that we will get to enjoy for a lifetime, but he also made our wedding day an experience that we will never forget. He definitely exceeded all of our expectations, and we cannot recommend him enough. We are already trying to figure out when our next big event is so that we can hire him again! -

It was a pleasure working with Wesley. It was our first time photo shoot experience, but Wesley made us feel comfortable during the whole shoot. The whole experience felt natural, he made a few posing suggestions but nothing felt fake.
Additionally, I contacted about 10 photographers and Wesley was the most timely and responsive. Very professional! My husband and I are also picky with punctuality, I was so surprised that Wesley was at the meeting spot earlier than me. I'm normally the first one everywhere I go but Wesley beat me haha
Such a professional and fun person to work with. Lastly, we received our pictures and they are amazing. I cannot stop looking at them :). -

Wesley was amazing to work with! From the very beginning he was always responding promptly and answering all questions with professionalism. He was always on time for phone calls and photo shoots. Anyone can tell from looking at his photos that he is a skilled photographer and does amazing work, but he was also easy to work with and made us feel comfortable. He is extremely knowledgeable about lighting and poses, but also takes into consideration anything you want specifically. I would defiantly recommend Wesley for any photoshoot! My husband and I exchanged vows in Yosemite National Park and were looking for a photographer to capture those magical moments. The one thing we really needed was a photographer who was patient and flexible due to COVID pandemic, the last minute permits and just made us feel special on this day.
While looking for a photographer, we had some bad experiences and we were left in pretty sensitive state when choosing a photographer. We're a diverse couple and wanted to make sure our photographer worked with people with darker skin tones. I could hardly find any portfolios with diversity so it was a little disheartening during our search. However, when I came across Wesley's instagram from another photographer's page, I KNEW THIS WAS OUR GUY! I immediately felt the good vibes from our first phone call and knew this was going to be the photographer we longed for. He helped us through every step of the way when Yosemite National Park added additional regulations and permits. He was communicative and so patient walking me through the process. The day of - Wesley even helped me get dressed for our first look, which I really appreciated since I had no family or friends there. He took us to all these awesome scenic sights and told us how to pose (we're an awkward couple). I'll forever be grateful for Wesley's talents. It has given my husband and I ever lasting memories. Bursting with Talent, So Kind and Positive, & Created GORGEOUS Photos
Not only are Wesley’s photographs bursting with talent, but his behind-the-scenes attentiveness and professionalism make him amazing to work with. We contacted him a few weeks before our small wedding in the San Francisco Bay and, with his signature enthusiasm, he quickly hopped onboard for the entire experience. With his radiant amicability, Wesley also did a wonderful job of helping us feel relaxed and comfortable from before the ceremony up until the very end of our wedding weekend.
We are so grateful for the images he captured from our big day. He has such an eye for color and candid moments! My family still speaks highly of Wesley to this day for what a positive impression he left from our wedding. Not to mention our breathtaking PHOTOS that we will forever cherish. Perfect Surprise Proposal Photos
Wesley photographed my proposal to my girlfriend in Yosemite while we were traveling this summer. I cannot say enough about how professional, helpful, flexible, and personable Wesley was throughout the whole process. We spoke on the phone multiple times leading up to the proposal, easing my nerves and answering any questions I had. He helped me select a perfect location, time frame, and helped make sure the whole proposal (and our photo session) went smoothly. Simply the best!
When we made the decision to elope, we knew finding the right photographer was essential to the experience. With the date quickly approaching, we discovered Wesley via his Instagram account, and wasted no time in contacting him. If his portfolio wasn't already enough, after speaking with him, we knew he was the man for the job. Professional, spirited, and talented hardly say enough. So a friend found him for me because I was looking for a specific style and Wesley fit perfectly. He was very responsive when I sent my initial inquiry. My fiance and I did not know much but he was very kind and gave us some idea. Once the day for the engagement photos came, my fiance and I messed up but he Wesley was so forgiving and flexible. Exactly what we wanted!
Wesley gave us such an amazing experience! My husband and I did not plan to get married during the pandemic but later saw it as a great opportunity to have a small, intimate wedding with just a few loved ones that we actually wanted to invite. After we decided to go through with it, we realized that we only had 6 days to plan the wedding. We chose Wesley because of his experience with capturing special moments between couples with nature as the backdrop. We had a winter wedding so although it was cold and snowy and a little challenging with my wedding dress in that environment, he managed to make the pictures look magical. Wesley made the whole experience stress-free. He was responsive and constantly communicated with me, he drove 2.5 hours to get to us, and his great personality made the whole experience so much fun! We would definitely hire Wesley again in the future! -

Wesley is such an amazing photographer, we loved having him do our engagement and wedding photos so much!! He is very flexible and go with the flow and helps you out so much with positions/posing. Don't look any further!!
We had an excellent experience from my very first interaction to the delivery of the photo. Wesley was equally as excited as us to do our engagement pictures, he planned ahead, was an EXCELLENT communicator, and took an entire day to make our experience the best possible. I had an idea of what I wanted the pictures to look like, but when I saw the final product I was blown away! Everyone who has seen our engagement pictures claim that they are the BEST pictures that they have ever seen, and I couldn't agree more. My Finance had never been to Yosemite so he went out of the way to show him around and also accommodated our puppy who came along for the shoot. He is not only a great photographer but an amazing human. We were thrilled to work with him, and you will too. -

Wesley is a must have!
We found Wes on Instagram for Yosemite photographers and from the moment of our initial conversation I knew he was going to be the perfect fit for us! He was so professional but also his vibe was so fun and exciting and I could tell there wasn’t going to be any awkward moments.
Not only was he the best hype man, the best photographer. But he catered to every detail We wanted, and made sure my dress always looked good and hair was perfect for the shot! He worked phenomenally well with our team of vendors to make our day perfect! And he was our witness ♥️

Outstanding!
Wesley is energetic but brought a calm professionalism to our wedding and reception. He went above and beyond to accommodate our individual needs and never gave the impression that he was put out in anyway. He went with the flow but was also able to direct the flow when we didn't know how to direct it! I would recommend him to anyone for their photography needs! -

Wesley is amazing! We have used other photographers before but we have never had this great of an experience! Wesley listed to our ideas and really took time to get to know what we wanted. Yosemite Fall Engagement Shoot!
We live about two hours away from Yosemite and Wesley was there long before us, so it was VERY easy to find him. He is very great at communicating EVERYTHING that has to do with the photo shoot in order to be fully prepared. Not only was he super professional, but he was also very fun and easy to be around! He definitely makes the experience as best as you allow him to make it. My favorite thing about shooting with Wesley was that the photos did not feel forced, he is all about just capturing the moments with your partner. Overall, his pricing is very reasonable and I would highly recommend him! -
