Amazing experience from start to finish.

I highly recommend Wes Atkinson Photography for your photography needs. He did our wedding in June and I will say, they entire process was easy from start to finish. When I started planning my wedding, I had very little time due to my work / travel schedule. Wes was fantastic at communication from start to finish. He answered all of my questions appropriately (especially since I wasn't in Austin at the time). He is a quick communicator and very thorough. He customized a package for me that was affordable and that fit my needs. The week leading up to the wedding, I was in Austin and of course, had a few remaining questions and details to work through. He was extremely patient with me throughout the process. On our wedding day, him and his additional photographer were absolute CHAMPIONS. It was 106 degrees out and it was a hot one. He knew the entire wedding was hot and we got through all of our photos pretty quick, which was great for us. Him and his team got a ton of amazing photos. We received our photos quicker than we had thought and he updated me on the timeline every step of the way. Our photos turned out amazing. If you are in the greater Austin area, I would recommend him for your photography needs.

An amazing photographer

Wow, where do I begin? First off let me just start by saying thank you from the bottom of my heart I couldn’t have had my engagement or wedding without you! You were there with my through the whole time. I sent picture ideas to you and you helped me recreate those moments with my now husband. He was on time for every meeting and he always kept me up to date with letting me know when our pictures would be done. I recommend him to anyone who wants great quality pictures for a very understanding price! Once my husband and I have a family i will use Wes for our family photos because he was that incredible! 😊 Thank you Wes for everything!

From the beginning I was madly in love with Wes Atkinson’s profile. After direct communication we decided to hire him for our wedding day and I am beyond excited that we did. His professionalism is outstanding and he captured beautiful moments that I am thrilled we get to keep forever. He works extremely fast and is efficient in what he does. We hired Wes Atkinson as our wedding photographer. What can I say?? Wes went above and beyond from our engagement photos to the day of wedding photos. We were truly impressed with how beautiful the photos came out. Hiring a great wedding photographer was definitely high on our priority list and we knew we were in good hands with Wes. We received our photos quickly even though there were over 3,000 photos to look through. Wes was not only great on the day of but he would also check in with us regularly before the wedding to coordinate. Wes is professional, polite, and great at what he does. I would definitely recommend Wes Atkinson!

Had great photo ideas! My husband and I also moved about 3 months after the wedding and lost our memory card to with the photos. We contacted Wes and he was able to send us a replacement! We were so beyond appreciative of this!

I recently employed Wes Atkinson Photography to take my daughter's senior pictures and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Within minutes after first sending an email to Wes at Wes Atkinson Photography, I received a reply and answers to my many questions. Being new to the area, Wes took the time to discuss the options available for photo shoot locations, as well as how the whole photo shoot would work. He made me feel very comfortable and was extremely flexible with my requests. My daughter was less than thrilled with having her photos taken, but during the session, Wes was able to make her feel comfortable and confident. The pictures came out absolutely gorgeous and we couldn't be happier! I would certainly recommend Wes Atkinson Photography to anyone interested in having photos taken. He was completely professional, easy to talk to, quick to respond and an excellent photographer. I already have plans to have Wes take some family photos for us in the near future!

Wes did a great job, he kept in touch with me from my first contact with him, communicating location suggestions, photo poses and other considerations. He solicited my input to make sure my photos turned out how I envisioned them. He added additional ideas. He forgave my mind-changing and worked magic in a new location he had never shot before! Not that I suggest challenging him but his eye caught everything we had hoped would be captured and more! Great quality photos. Overall outstanding value for his service. Will be using his services again!

My wife and I got our wedding photos back from Wes Atkinson Photography and they are amazing! We love the work he was able to do, through the entire day. Absolutely high-class and high-quality work. He did excellent in high-contrast light, dark rooms, and outside (in both the sun and rain). We really wanted a team of two, and Wes did just that! When we were going through the photos of our wedding and reception and he was somehow able to capture pictures of a single moment from multiple angles across the room. He did an amazing job, and we both are already recommending him to our friends!

The quality and professionalism is outstanding. He did my daughter's wedding, and we were amazed at the final product. He suggested various poses and took pictures in different settings that were original. We also got all the family in the pictures. Most importantly, he captured the love of the bride and groom. We look at the pictures often and relive the day each time. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

If you are in the Austin / San Antonio area and looking for a photographer for any service wes did a awesome job he did my wedding and made sure that me and my wife were very comfortable even leading up to the day of we communicated making sure everything was good he took his time and took very good pictures I promise and he is very reasonable won't hurt your pockets don't believe me just look at his website for reviews for yourself won't disappoint you at all we just got our pictures back and were very amazed how they look very very good I'm glad we went with him

Wes Atkinson is an amazing photographer. My husband and I were nervous about our photo shoot because we hadn't met with him previously. Our arrangements were made through the wedding resort we chose. Wes made us feel very comfortable and everything just flowed naturally. He helped us feel at ease and our photos were incredible. They truly caught the essence of who are in our relationship. I just wish we lived closer to him so that we could have him photograph our family. Hands down Wes Atkinson is the best photographer we have ever used! I highly recommend his services for your wedding photos.

When we first began looking for a wedding photographer I was completely overwhelmed; after many weeks of searching we finally found Wes! Wes was professional, answered all of our many questions promptly and was able to tease out what we wanted for our photographs when we didn't know how to say it. Wes even accommodated our request to have our dogs in our engagement pictures, which turned out better than I could have hoped. Working with Wes for the engagement pictures made us so much more comfortable when it came to the wedding day.

My wedding day was stress free because we had a plan in place ahead of time with a list of pictures, order or pictures, and he had already worked with us before. When we saw the pictures my husband and I were in awe of the lighting, the moments he captured and the emotions of the pictures. Wes provided us with beautiful pictures at a great value. We are so lucky to have found Wes Atikinson Photography and plan to use him in the future!

Where do I begin?! Wes was the best photographer. He did such a beautiful job on all of our pictures! We did the full package so he did our engagements and my bridals and all of our wedding. We are so blessed to have got to work with him. He had such great ideas and he was up to do any of my crazy Pintrest ideas for our photos. He also kept me calm during the wedding and he would remind me of the photos I had talked to him about. I mean how lucky to have a photographer that remembers the photos you had mentioned or sent to him and remind ME that I wanted to do them? I hope everyone will use him and you will be very lucky to use him. He was also so understanding when we had to reschedule my bridal photos 3 times due to down pour raining. The only happy downfall you will encounter is that you will have too many beautiful pictures to choose from. You won't be able to choose which ones to hang in your home and to show friends and family because they are all great!!!!

We had a destination wedding in San Antonio and were planning everything from across the country! I saw great review on Wes and we were very pleased with his professionalism and the speediness of getting our photos back! My husband and I hired Wes after finding him on facebook and meeting with him a few times for our June wedding. Wes was absolutely amazing from start to finish. He is patient, kind and got my families humor. Wes did my bridal portraits outside of San Antonio and drove the long distance to get to my parents home. The weather was muggy, hot and humid, but Wes still did an awesome job of capturing my huge ball gown and every "pinterest moment" that I had sent him. My bridal portraits were beautiful and turned out even better than I dreamt of. On our wedding day, Wes was on time, patient, and helped a lot to keep us all on schedule. Even in the heat of June, we still were able to get plenty of pictures outside the church and the reception hall. Wes was wonderful throughout the entire five months from the time we met him till our send off at the wedding. He captured some amazing moments that I didn't even know were happening until I got to see some pictures from him. I will highly recommend him for any occasion, not just weddings. My husband and I want to hire him for our one year anniversary pictures and maybe one day maternity pictures. We really cant wait to work with Wes again. Thank you so much, Wes!

Wes was an absolutely wonderful photographer! We just couldn't have asked for a better photographer. He was exactly what we needed. He has done many weddings and engagement photos and is very experienced. We found him because we were looking for a reasonably priced photographer with a good portfolio and if that's what you're looking for, then look no further. He was professional in every sense of the word. He was very easy to get a hold of and very quick to get back to us with any questions we had. He kept in close contact with us in the weeks leading up to the wedding, making sure everything was on schedule. His website pretty much explains everything he offers, but he is very flexible and is very willing to accommodate any specific pictures the couple might want. For us, my husband and I are very casual people and we really didn't have many ideas for photos, but he had no problem with that. After the ceremony, he came up with plenty of wonderful poses to do right on the spot. I stressed to him some particular photos I did want, and he got everything we wanted and seemed to realize the moments that would mean the most to us and took particular care to get those photos. His pictures of the Daddy/Daughter dance had me bawling, lol. He even took the time to get pictures of our dog, who we had as our ring bearer. It was great to get some extra pictures of him in the package he sent. As far as quality, every picture was beautiful, clear, and high resolution. I can't stress enough how happy I am with how they turned out, and for a great price too! Just fantastic! I really highly recommend him for any photography needs, especially weddings.

The pictures for our wedding came out beautifully! Wes was open for suggestions on poses we wanted. He did a very thorough job of taking shots of all family members, rings and even my shoes! Great pricing and very professional.

Wes was wonderful to work with. He was open to photo ideas we had and had great suggestions and ideas to offer as well. He was very patient with us as we went through the shoot. This was our first time doing a professional photo shoot. It was a fun experience and we were very happy with the results. Definitely was worth the time and the cost was very reasonable. I really like that he gave us a copy of all the pictures that were taken, not just the ones that came out the best. I can choose the pictures I want to print and I can have them printed where ever I want to have them printed.

We have worked with Wes before for family pictures. It was a no brainier to work with him for our daughters Senior pictures! Wes is fabulous to work with, very conscientious of the shots he takes to ensure they turn out just right. We are a little awkward when it comes to figuring out poses for pictures, Wes makes you feel comfortable, and encourages you to try different angles you might not have tried before. He did one pose of my daughter calf deep in water, and the lighting on the water, trees and savanna was just beautiful. Wes is a master painter with a camera!

Wes is absolutely awesome. We booked him literally a couple week before our wedding after our original photographer disappeared. He showed up early and took pictures before our wedding even though we hadn't thought to ask. He was very patient and friendly. The pictures turned out amazing. I love that you get every shot he takes. He captured many super sweet moments between my husband and I that were so genuine. He responded quickly and even got us a few shots back within a week for our thank you cards. I definitely recommend him to everyone we know who's getting married. I cannot wait to book him again in the future!

Finding a wedding photographer was one of the more difficult part of the wedding planning process. My husband didn't want to spend a small fortune (which is what most wedding photographers cost), and I wanted great photos that we could cherish for years to come. After a lot of research, we found Wes, and I'm so glad we did! Wes was so easy to work with and always responded to my emails (I must have sent him 100) promptly and patiently.

As for the quality of the work - wow! My husband was really uncomfortable taking photos, and Wes did a great job of making him feel comfortable at the engagement session and bringing him out of his shell. Wes's photos captured us exactly how I wanted - in a way that was natural and showed how our relationship actually is instead of two people just posing and smiling at a camera.

The day of the wedding, I hardly knew Wes was there. He just let the wedding proceed and captured his photos as it was happening. And the photos were breathtaking! I have received so many compliments on them from friends and family and it was difficult to choose just one or two to display in my home because they were all so wonderful.

I would highly recommend Wes to anyone who needs photos taken - wedding or otherwise - because he does a great job throughout the entire process. He is personable and professional in front of the camera and has such an eye for great photography behind it.

Mr.Wes was a total lifesaver! The photographer we had set up for our wedding called late us wednesday night (wedding was on saturday) and told me he was not able to attend due to medical reasons. So we were calling as many photographers as we could. Mr. Wes called us, we looked at his gallery the photos we saw were amazing. The pictures he took of our wedding were so beautiful and I couldnt be happier! Thank you for stepping up last minute and doing such a incredible job! "I received my photos today! You did such an amazing job! You captured so many moments we would've have missed that brought smiles and laughs to our face! I saw my husband finally arm wrestle his brother, the flower girl drop the rose petals and then pick them back up, the smile on my husband as I walked up the aisle, OMG how happy everyone was to be there with us! Wes was a really great photographer to work with for our wedding. We were planning our wedding from a different state and Wes made every accommodation to ensure we were set and ready to go for the big day. He has tons of resources including day of time line examples, vendors, and creative ideas for capturing the perfect shots from the big day. He spent plenty of time with me via email and phone calls setting up details and making sure everything was on track. I felt that if I needed his help on other wedding aspects, that he would be there to help. He even jumped in when our DJ cancelled on us a couple months out! He is totally professional, organized and completely trustworthy! Wes has a very creative eye when it comes to capturing great shots and he even took the time to periodically flip though on his camera to show us some of the shots throughout the night. This made me feel at peace during the night, knowing that we had the perfects pictures to go with our memories since finding a photographer to capture the meaning of our night was so important to me and my new husband. Wes captured these moments perfectly and we could not be more thankful. I would HIGHLY recommend using Wes and would certainly use his services again!
