  Do NOT look anywhere else for event Catering!!! From the very beginning, Werners provided services I never knew existed when scheduling catering for a wedding. I was given the personal phone number of an assistant, with whom I communicated back and forth with regularly regarding schedule changes, taste testing, etc. This assistance especially helped because my husband and I live four hours away from the event site. We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Werner at our tasting where he sat down with us, discussed every small detail, and made sure the night was going to be one I would never forget! We had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Werner at our tasting where he sat down with us, discussed every small detail, and made sure the night was going to be one I would never forget! Although I have not had the luxury of a tasting prior to this, I can honestly say I bet there isn't a better experience out there. We were able to taste more options than we initially chose ("just to be positive"-Mr. Werner said). The staff on the day of the wedding were early, dressed professionally, and kind to everyone. I am a little jealous to say...when guests have talked about our wedding day they say more about the quality of our appetizers, food, and service than they do about my dress or the entertainment!! :)
  I truly hope we need a catering service again one day, because it will be a no brainer for us!

  We were very happy with using Werners for the catering for our wedding. From the tasting to the actual day of our wedding they exhibited very courteous attitudes and flexibility to work with us on creating our menu and executing our dinner the night of our wedding. We loved the food and got several compliments on what was served!

  We recently used Werner's to cater our wedding. The food was really tasty and a wonderful value. Their team worked with us a lot to get the menu to look exactly how we wanted (including a family style dinner). However, I have 3 complaints:
  (1) The presentation for our appetizer buffets was less than desirable. There weren't any chamfers to keep the food warm, no signage and the burlap decoration we had asked for was never delivered. The food was literally just placed in a bowl with some plates on the side and it looked just awful. I was really disappointed since our wedding was not as casual as this set up looked.

  We recently used Werner's to cater our wedding. The food was really tasty and a wonderful value. Their team worked with us a lot to get the menu to look exactly how we wanted (including a family style dinner). However, I have 3 complaints:
  (1) The presentation for our appetizer buffets was less than desirable. There weren't any chamfers to keep the food warm, no signage and the burlap decoration we had asked for was never delivered. The food was literally just placed in a bowl with some plates on the side and it looked just awful. I was really disappointed since our wedding was not as casual as this set up looked.
  (2) The table cloths that were delivered were not the ones we were promised. We had asked for floor length table cloths but were only delivered ones that reached the floor half way. We had to double up on table cloths to make them long enough for the ballroom dinner but this didn't leave any for our bar tables outside. Instead they pieced together some cloth napkins to cover the bar tables! It looked really bad and I was really disappointed. It kinda ruined the look for the cocktail hour and this was very upsetting to us.
  (3) the professionalism was lacking. Many things we had agreed to in our contract (i.e. burlap decoration, floor length table cloths, chamfers to keep food warm, warmers for our hot chocolate etc.) were not delivered. We were also told the catering staff would be wearing black pants with white linen shirts and black aprons. They showed up in black pants and black polos which didn't match our semi-formal wedding :(
  
  I would use Werner's again if I was having a very casual party, NOT a semi-formal wedding. Like I said, the food was really great, tasty and dinner was hot when delivered, but the presentation was awful and disappointing. If I used them again for my wedding I would heavily supervise them as they set up the venue to ensure we were getting what we paid for and the look we wanted.

  The food was excellent. Replies were not timely and I am still waiting on reimbursement for overpayment and my e mails are not being answered.

  My husband and I were married at Boulder Springs June 14, 2014. We currently live in Dallas so we were planning the wedding long distance. I primarily dealt with Joey (son) Werner. Joey was very responsive to all of my questions and made sure all my changes to our contract throughout the planning process were taken care of. My issues with Werner's came on the day of my wedding and were handled by my wedding coordinator who informed me of these issues when I returned from my honeymoon. Werner's was 45 minutes late.   My husband and I were married at Boulder Springs June 14, 2014. We currently live in Dallas so we were planning the wedding long distance. I primarily dealt with Joey (son) Werner. Joey was very responsive to all of my questions and made sure all my changes to our contract throughout the planning process were taken care of. My issues with Werner's came on the day of my wedding and were handled by my wedding coordinator who informed me of these issues when I returned from my honeymoon. Werner's was 45 minutes late. The back up system on the van interrupted our ceremony (due to them being late). The apparent reason for them being late was Mr. Werner fired a member of his staff on the way to my wedding. We had also signed up for a carving station. Apparently the carver was subcontracted by Mr. Werner. When the carver refused to perform additional work outside of her contract Mr. Werner also fired her. So not only was Mr. Werner short staffed for my wedding I did not have a professional carver. In addition, I had requested fruit, chicken strips and mac n cheese for the kids menu. There was no fruit and very little chicken strips when Mr. Werner arrived. My coordinator asked Mr. Werner about the fruit and he said it must be at Legacy Hall as he was also caterer the other all at Boulder Springs. The food was fabulous! However, I believe that the issues my coordinator had to deal with could have been avoided if Mr. Werner displayed a little professionalism and respect to his customers contract.
