Our wedding at Wente was better than we had imagined! From the beginning, Tricia, Joy, Danae, Dominique and the rest of the amazing staff were incredibly nice and easy to get a hold of. We couldn't have been happier with the venue. Our guests kept saying it was such a beautiful wedding. The food was magnificent (the pork chop was huge!) and no one went hungry. Wente staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. The day before the wedding, we handed over all decor items and Wente handled the set up. We did not have to worry about a thing the day of the wedding. Wente was perfect, and we highly recommend it!

We had the wedding of our dreams at Wente! From the beginning, Tricia, Stephanie, Briana, and the rest of the amazing staff treated us like royalty. We couldn't have been happier with the venue. Our guests LOVED the food (especially the lobster mac and cheese and the cakes!). So much, in fact, that a person I've never met from Norway said they "heard the food was great" at our wedding. We were particularly impressed with the service. We had about 70 guests at 10 tables and no one had to wait to get food. Everyone was served each course within about 6 minutes. The bartenders were efficient and friendly. We had excellent service at the sweetheart table, as well. Wente staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. Everything was well organized and my husband and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Wente was the perfect venue!

We had a destination wedding and wanted everyone who travels to California to have a unique and memorable experience. We had been to so many weddings at event centers, so we wanted one that had history and culture associated with it. We ate at the Wente restaurant and the food was to die for, plus the scenery was gorgeous. we met with their event staff to discuss having our wedding there, and when we heard they offer a wedding coordinator that was included in the venue fee, we knew that this would be the perfect place. Our wedding coordinator was Christine and our day of coordinator was Kayla. Bother were amazingly responsive to all of my questions (there were a lot) and they set us up with each of our vendors. Since we had our reception outside, they were able to get us all the quotes for lighting, dance floor, etc. I had multiple requests to see prices of different items and Christine happily went back to the vendors each time to request something new. A few days before our wedding there was a chance of rain, and in no time at all Christine had helped come up with a new plan if needed (but it didn't end up raining!) They have a great facility above the Cresta Blanca room to get ready for the girls and the guys, and on the day of the wedding Kayla our day of coordinator made sure we were taken care of. Having a coordinator who knows the property made everything a breeze. She helped us stick to our timeline, gave us wine whenever we needed, and was the sweetest person to work with! Wente also makes the cake and will do whatever design you would like- we went with chocolate fig and pistachio - both were delicious. The food portions are very large, not like typical small wedding portions, and everyone commented that it was probably the best pork chop they had ever had and that the salmon was cooked perfectly. The day of service staff was courteous, quick, and helpful. They give you a list of vendors who they prefer to work with and I would definitely go

Where to begin! We had the most incredible wedding at Wente's event center & lawn. They were very easy to work with leading up to the day - Tricia made sure to cover all the important details with us. I felt they took the time to understand the type of wedding we were trying to have and made suggestions to make sure the whole day was exactly what we wanted. Our wedding day of coordinator was also AMAZING. She took charge at our rehearsal and really made the whole day run smoothly. I didn't notice anything out of place! It really helped me relax knowing that our coordinator had all the details and was ready to go.
The service all night was extraordinary and I strongly recommend any couple take a look at Wente. I would be remiss not to mention the FOOD! Everyone complimented us and literally everything tasted incredible. I can't imagine getting married anywhere else.

This venue is AMAZING! Nadine has been wonderful in giving us everything we need to make our day special. I love her excitement for us! And her willingness to bend the rules to try new things. If you're looking for a venue of a winery, then THIS is your place!

Exceeded my expectations, unbelievable service and no issues on my wedding day. I can't thank them enough.

We meet with Wente Vineyard's wedding planner, Georgine Dreiman prior to picking a venue. Georgine understood our situation and budget. She suggested a week night wedding to reduce the cost. She also showed us the "caves". We knew immediately that was where we wanted to get married. Georgine and her team were wonderful! Our guests said it was the most romantic wedding they had ever attended. Everything was perfect - from the location, to the food and wine, to the service. I highly recommend Wente Vineyards for a wedding or special event - they have lots of venues to choose from.

My wedding here couldn't have been more perfect! The food was delicious and the staff couldn't have been more amazing. I had guest telling me that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. Thanks Wente Vinyards!

I had my wedding at Murietta's Well, one of Wentes wineries and couldnt have asked for a better experience minus one item. The venue was spectacular in communication, professionalism, honesty, and support from day 1. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a stress-free wedding, they got all of my details correct. My only criticism is we were never given the opportunity to try the food before the wedding, just the cake. The food was still amazing without having tried the items but it would have been nice to be able to make our decisions based on taste and not just what was written.

Wente was amazing! We are very happy with our choice in using Wente for both our wedding and reception venue! The sales director Heather Druba was fabulous and so was our same day coordinator Michelle!! Loved everything about our big day at Wente!

Wente was a beautiful place to get married! We got married at the main facility and couldn't have been happier with another venue. Everything was exceptional - the service, cake, food, wedding coordination with Georgine, and the list goes on. We still rave about our wedding day experience and excellent service! And our guests still talk about how good the food was and the delicious cake. The pastry department was awesome and designed my cake exactly as I wanted! Wente has the wedding coordination down to a science and our guests never knew there was a second wedding at the golf course that same night. We went back on our anniversary and got our wedding topper remade and it was just as perfect! Georgine was awesome and made the planning process go so smooth....just what I needed as a busy bride. We love Wente and we go back to savor the experience as often as we can.

Wente was fabulous!! It ended up raining on our wedding and they moved everything inside in 3 hours. None of our guests new it was originally an outdoor wedding because Wente was so seamless with the whole process! We adored our coordinator, Tricia. She really pulled it all together and was so sweet to work with. The food was incredible - they really know what they are doing! The cake was also delicious. All of our guests were impressed by the beauty and professionalism of Wente!

I was really happy with the service at my May 12 wedding this year! Wente made the planning process easy and Heather, my wedding consultant, was super responsive to emails although it was obvious she was very busy assisting other brides. The food was amazing as was the cake and the grouds looked perfect!

Thanks to Heather and her team!! I called Wente in January to possibly book Murietta's Well, but they were booked pretty far out. Heather mentioned that she had a date available at Wente in May. Ah!! I was stressing that we we could do this in 4 months. Heather was amazing and everything ended up being perfect!!! She was always so accomodating on the phone and always returned my emails with any questions I had. The staff there for the wedding was so nice too! The food was amazing. My dad is super picky about food and he was raving about the food. I'm so glad I booked Wente and hadn't waited over a year to get married.

We had our wedding at Wente Vineyards in Livermore. From the beginning they were very accomodating to us. They worked with us to make sure we had everything we needed and were very responsive to our multitude of questions!! We didn't live very close, but were able to make a couple of visits and plan the rest on the phone and through email!

We worked with Heather to plan everything and she was excellent. Very sweet and helpful. Then we had Nina to be our day of coordinator. Everything went great and people are still telling me what a beautiful wedding we had.

My husband and I were very happy with Wente from the very beginning. Not only is the site gorgeous but Heather Druba from the sales office was absolutely great. She was friendly and answered all our questions whenever we had any. When she went out on maternity leave she left us with the next best person, Candy. Despite the weather forcast of rain, Candy helped us through all the details and really worked to make sure that the wedding was as fluid and stress free as possible. We are very happy that we chose Wente and our guests were really impressed with the level of service and the high quality of food that they offered.

Wente made my dream wedding a reality!! They were wonderful to work with - incredibly professional and quick to respond to my calls and emails. Our guests commented on how well the wedding was run, how gorgeous it was and especially how amazing the food was. I didn't have to worry about a thing. While many of my bride friends were stressed before their weddings, Wente took care of everything. I didn't have to worry at all. We couldn't have asked for more. We highly recommend Wente!!!

95% of our guests traveled from the East Coast and they were completely blown away by Wente. The venue was amazing and exactly what we wanted. It was unlike any other wedding most of our guest have been to. I loved how the servers brought out wine glasses immediately following the ceremony for the guests. It was 100% what we wanted from our venue and I wouldn't change a second of that day!!

Wente Vineyards was truly a top notch venue for our wedding. The grounds are beautiful and the food was to-die-for. All of our guests kept commenting that it was the best food they'd ever had. Georgine Dreiman, the wedding coordinator, is extremely responsive to email and always willing to answer all the one million questions a bride has. They can do almost anything you ask of them, and being an out-of-town bride it was comforting to know that Wente and Georgine had everything under control. Our wedding day went off without a hitch, they truly exceeded my expectations! We had a friday wedding and the value was unbelievable for the cost.

The food was AMAZING!! All our guest enjoyed our wedding food, thanks to Wente!

The Wente coordinator we worked with during the planning process was Georgine Dreiman. She was great. Always responsive and reassured us whenever an we ever got worried. The location is perfect. The food terrific. We got kudos from our guest about the food, drink, and service. Our entree choices were the Smoked Pork Chop & Chicken. Both were good but all who ordered the pork chops could not stop raving. Cake was also included and it was delicious. We chose a design and they were able to do it for a relatively small fee. We offered open bar for 4 hours and it was pretty reasonable. We didn't want our guest to have to pay for drinks and just have fun.
The day of the wedding went just as smooth. Our coordinator Arlene was great too.

I would recommend this to anyone planning a wedding. For location, value, and quality of food. One more perk, the groom gets a free round of golf when you book with them.

We were married at Murrieta's Well, owned by Wente. Wente does all the food and beverage and the cake creation which is a nice one-stop shop.

Our food was OUT OF THIS WORLD. We did a buffet with three main entrees (salmon, tri tip and rosemary chicken) and the guests were raving all night and definitely went back for several plates! Our passed appetizers also went quick..my husband and I didn't get any!

Our cake was also designed by Wente, was as beautiful as it was delicious and then even made a birthday cake for my stepdaughter with her name on it. Very special touch.

The wine was flowing as was the champagne and all was delish. My only regret is that I ate more!

Beautiful place.

Wente was really an ideal full service venue. They offer event coordination help for the months leading up to the wedding and day-of-coordination on the actual wedding date. They have an excellent preferred vendor list, where we were able to find our florist, limousine service, harpist, and officiant. We were so impressed by the level of professionalism of the entire staff from the coordinators to the dinner servers and bussers. They made our day so enjoyable, beautiful and absolutely unforgettable. This is truly a beautiful place to get married.

Wente Vineyards was the perfect choice for our ceremony. Since I am originally from the east coast my friends and family never experienced the whole winery experience. Plus, the setting was immaculate -- although, Mother Nature must play a vital role. We arranged an evening ceremony around 6pm with a tent setting. Wente provided the venue, the catering as well as the wedding cake. The POC onsite was very supportive; even though, we lost the original POC due to pregnancy, her replacement picked up as if she knew us already. I highly recommend Wente for weddings.

Where do I start with Wente?
1. They do EVERYTHING- Coordination, catering, cake day of coordinating and organizing rentals
2. The value is incredible. We looked all over Napa and eventually landed on Wente because it was better than anything up north. The food was delicious!
3. They were willing to work with what we wanted. We had food stations and a comfortable atmosphere.
4. It is a stunning location! During all of the planning, I wasn't sure because I had to depend largely on imagination, but it came together even better than I had imagined!
5. Choosing Wente was really important because when I handed everything over 36 hours before the event, I was stress free and got to truly enjoy my wedding!

Wente was a great choice for our venue. They have flexible accommodations for larger size weddings, excellent food and wine choices and over all very professional service. The value of service and venue that we received for the price really was impeccable, especially in the bay area where everything is a bit more expensive. The coordinators are helpful for the day you tour the venue until you leave the night of your wedding, they were especially flexible with us as we had some unique dietary restrictions for our menu. If I had to do it over again I would definitely pick Wente again.

We got married at Wente in September and we would happily choose them all over again. Our coordinator happily met with us, probably more than was typical and at our request, without complaint. She was always available via phone and email for questions and went above and beyond in doing things such as bringing in sample linens and having the events team set up table so we could preview them in person.
The event itself was EXACTLY what we hoped it would be. Of course, that is due in large part to our other vendors as well, but Wente does such a wonderful job orchestrating it all. The day of coordinator, Jean, was so lovely, calming and helpful -- she put my mind at ease. The food was phenomenal and timely, the wines are delicious and to my excitement, we were able to serve sparkling wine all evening. And the cake -- the BEST CAKE OF MY LIFE.
Opportunities for improvement: 1) we worked w/ one person on all the planning, but had a different day-of coordinator, which is fine, except for the fact that we weren't able to meet her until the day before our wedding. 2) our planning coordinator didn't always have sample pictures available for setups outside the typical.
Bottom line: WE'D DO IT HERE ALL OVER AGAIN! There is ample parking for guests, ample nearby hotels at a great price (Courtyard Marriott will shuttle guests for only a few hundred when you have a room block!), the ability to have amplified music (DJ Twin Spin is amazing!) outdoors until midnight (vs. 10pm up north), lots of costs included in the venue price, which means not only better pricing, but less vendors to select and juggle. Yes, they are a bit of a "wedding factory", but that ultimately means THEY KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING AND THEY DO IT WELL.

This venue is beautiful and the staff very professional and helpful. The food and wine are the true highlights of this venue - our guests (some of them true connoisseurs) could not stop raving about the hor d'eourves, entrees, and cake. Most brides have a lot on their plates on the day of their wedding - their on-the-site wedding coordinator ensured that everything went effortlessly for us.

This venue is unsurprisingly very busy most times of the year - so do keep in mind that the staff can be busy (but timely in their responses).

Wente was a perfect location for our wedding. Everything went so smoothly and the staff were very helpful and supportive. Food was great! And they took care of the cake which was one less thing for me to worry about. It was a beautiful night, and I'm so glad we decided to go with Wente.

Such a great process from start to finish. Had our first appointment with them and they spent over 2 hours with us. Second appointment I brought back my father and they spent another 2 hours with us. They were amazing!!

Working to plan a California destination wedding from the East Coast was an initial concern for me, but with Wente and their preferred vendors, it was easy and turned out wonderfully! Wente's level of service was superb for both the planning and execution of our wedding, and the food is amazing! The amount of choices that were available with their "standard" packages allowed us to customize the wedding to what we had envisioned without having to do lots of work on our end, and it was no problem to also add some special touches that were not part of the standard packages. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed themselves at our wedding and have only raved about Wente, as do we!

Beautiful venue and working with Tricia made things a lot easier with making decisions and choices. Overall great experience. Would definitely recommend this venue

I got married at the Event Center in November. We worked with Tricia to plan our day. Tricia helped us with the menu, the room upgrades (linens, lighting, draping), and all the logistics (processional, timing). At the rehearsal we met Stephanie and Kayla, the Day of Coordinators. They were very sweet and professional, going over all the details with us to make sure it was perfect. On our wedding day, everything was taken care of us for us.

Here are the highlights:
- Our ceremony was supposed to be on the Terrace Lawn, but it rained and was super cold that day, so Tricia made special arrangements for us to be moved inside their barrel room. It turned out so romantic and intimate.
- The food was incredible. We did the plated dinner with salmon and pork chop options. Many guests said the pork chop was the best they had ever had.
- Our cake was provided by Wente and it was so beautiful. We paid the upgrade for it to look like birch bark with cascading leaves down it, but it was so worth it. The pastry team outdid themselves. Stephanie sent me home with a slice from each layer after the wedding and it was so good!
- The organization and timing was impeccable. Everything we laid out was right on track. From when our dinner was served, to when we did our first dance, we kept right on schedule.
- The service was spot on. Before the ceremony, Stephanie kept checking in with me with updates. Stephanie and Kayla made sure I always had a glass of my drink of choice on hand, waiting on me while I was busy with guests. My groom and I had appetizers at our table (from what we missed at our cocktail hour.) At the end of the night, they packaged up all our items and gave us slices of cake and a bottle of bubbles.
Really, Wente outdid themselves. Our guests loved our wedding and so did we!

All in all Wente did a great job. We were nervous about not being allowed to try the food beforehand, and our experience at the restaurant at Wente was bad. Fortunately, the food at the wedding was amazing and our guests said it was the best food they had eaten at a wedding! Wente is a little more unique in that they are willing to provide all the rentals, do the catering and include your cake in their package deal - my husband and I were very thankful for this!

My biggest complaints were the following:
1) Lack of communication between the Sales Manager and day of Wedding Coordinator - we had picked out purple napkins a few weeks ahead of time, and had them specially ordered, by Wente, through an outside vendor. No purple napkins in sight the day of the wedding - I received an email the following Monday from the Sales Manager reporting that she had the napkins in her office the entire weekend. Nobody had thought to bring them out. Thankfully, we were not charged for this mess up.
2) We were promised by the Sales Manager that a steamer would be present in the bride's dressing room - no such steamer present. The Wedding Coordinator made no effort to fix this, and simply said that their last visitors from the Food Network must have taken it. My Maid of Honor had to convince the Sales Manager to send someone out to the store to buy one. It arrived 5 minutes before the ceremony started. Not too helpful....

Other than those two complaints Wente was great - beautiful location, helpful Sales Manager (slightly less helpful/competent Wedding Coordinator), excellent food and overall a positive experience.

Wente Vineyards is not only a beautiful location, but the wedding package includes the catering, the cake, tables, linens, flatware, chairs, votives, an arch, and possibly more that I'm forgetting at the moment. We did have to rent a few items such as some high cocktail tables and linens for the reception and heat lamps, but for the most part, Wente provided a majority of the big items needed in every wedding. Most importantly, the catering for the reception and dinner and the wedding cake were all taken care of as part of booking Wente!

The sales manager, Darlene Alameda, that we worked with was amazing. She was very responsive with emails and phone calls, and basically acted as our wedding planner. She helped us come up with ideas to help make our wedding unique, and helped us flesh out any ideas that we had by calling vendors for us and giving her feedback based on past weddings she's worked on.

On the day of the wedding, there's a facilities coordinator and event coordinator who help to run the entire day, which is great. No need to hire any outside help, and these people have been doing weddings for years.

My only complaint is that the cake didn't turn out exactly the way I wanted it to. I didn't catch it on the wedding day, at least, but I did notice it in my photos. But I contacted Wente about it, and they said they would be sure it would not happen again.

Wente was amazing! Our coordinator was friendly and welcoming and took us through the process with ease. I have heard horror stories about weddings, but ours went so smooth. We got engaged in November 2007, and started looking at places right away. We only saw 1 other venue before Wente. After we saw Wente we knew we didn't need to look any further! And I am so glad we didn't! They provided us with all that we needed. The wait staff was amazing! So courteous and polite and made us feel like we were at a million dollar wedding! This place is expensive, but it is SO worth it! Oh, and I haven't even mentioned how beautiful it is there! Our pictures are awesome. They don't let you taste test their food, so this kind of scared me. But we took a chance. We still hear people talk about how great the food was. And the little that my husband and I ate, was great! People said it was the best food they have had at a wedding and I agree! This is definetly a one stop shop. I have nothing but praises for them!

I was very satisfied with the location and everything they provide. I feel comfortable that things will go smoothly since they handle a lot, like making your cake and even providing a wedding planner/organizer for you for the entire day of your wedding. My fiance and I also saved half the price of renting the location just by having it on a Friday night and Wente was very flexible with the times as we pushed the time forward (6:30-11:30pm).

We fell in love with the location - Murrieta's Well Winery - over the internet. Being a busy bride organizing the entire event remotely in across the country, the events coordinator from Wente - Georgine - was extremely helpful and pleasant to work with. Her professionalism, flexibility and humor was key to setting the ground works to ensure a beautiful night for our wedding. The food was excellent. The chardonnay and riesling were delicious. Our wedding cake was beautiful and a huge hit! The ambience was great. We had the best time and all of our guests truly enjoyed themselves and could not stop commenting on how beautiful the venue was.

We plan on going back for our first anniversary!

Wente is a beautiful venue with a wonderful staff! Our planner Georgine guided us through every detail and helped make the planning less overwhelming. All our guests commented on how delicious the food was!

We ended up choosing Murietta's Well (a Wente-owned winery) for our wedding and it was AMAZING. The Wente team was incredible from start to finish.

I am so happy with how my ceremony and reception turned out at Wente. I could not have hoped for a more beautiful setting to have my wedding. I chose Wente upfront for their amazing setting (the landscaping is immaculate, the buildings are beautiful and well-kept), incredible wines, and their award winning restaurant, which caters your event. However, I ended up being completely satisfied with every aspect of the venue. My planner, Georgine, was wonderful, and she was there with us every step of the way. She has been with Wente for a very long time, and was completely relaxed about everything, and never once did I feel panicked about anything. I was extremely happy with our day-of coordinator, Dana. She was in control for the whole day and if anything went wrong, I certainly didn’t know about it! Their servers, bartenders, and other staff were professional and extremely attentive. What I loved most about Wente is that they have everything you need right on property, and if anything needs to be rented, they handle all of that for you so you don’t have to deal with a million different vendors. While some people don’t like big venues like this because they are not “unique” or because they do so many weddings, I felt like this was a positive aspect that led to a smooth wedding day. I felt that my wedding was unique because I was able to personalize anything and everything to my liking. Wente will always be such a special place for us, and I love that we can come back and enjoy their restaurant and tasting room anytime and reminisce about our day that was truly the most amazing day of our lives!

Although we were married at Murrieta's Well, it is owned and catered by Wente Restaurant. The food was amazing. Everyone loved the appetizers and the Pork Chop!! The presentation was perfect! The wedding cake was done by Kim in the pastry department. We wanted a special topsy turvy cake as a surprise for the groom. They did a fantastic job!!!

Wente was breathtakingly beautiful. Only downside was the fact that they mixed up our numbers and reversed the orders for chicken vs. pork chops. They refused to give us any compensation for it, which was disappointing. Other than that, our wedding went off without a hitch and everything was great!

Wente was amazing. Nadine was our sales manager and Deanna was our day of coordinator. Both were wonderful. Nadine was soooo helpful in the months leading up to the wedding and really made sure all the details were worked out before I even had the chance to stress about them. On the day before and the day of our wedding, Deanna was so great in making sure we had everything we needed, and was quick to make decisions about things to make our wedding run as smoothly as it did.

I also have to give a shoutout to the kitchen and waitstaff. Almost every single one of my 52 guests commented about how incredible the food was, and how kind the waitstaff was.

I wish I could get married at Wente again!
