I'm so glad we had Wendy as our officiant! It was great to have an experienced professional to help us make choices and avoid decision fatigue in such a friendly, low-key way. We had a pretty informal wedding, and she helped us figure out how to get our ceremony organized quickly and easily. She gave us several choices of vows to adapt for our ceremony so it was just the right length and tone for us. I called Michael on Monday after 4PM requesting pricing and seeing how flexible he was. My goodness, he is such an amazingly kind man, and was able to officiate our wedding on Wednesday at 5:30! He put a lot of trust in my husband and I, as we did him, and he did beyond phenomenal, especially with such short notice. Pricing was incredible, especially compared to many officiants I saw online, I just got very lucky Michael was the first to answer and continue to answer promptly. Maggie was like one of the Family
We had a quiet family-only wedding in an AirBnb near Progreso, MX. We connected with Wendy via WeddingWire and she was incredibly helpful with our vows and what we needed for the wedding service. Since she was out of town, she sent Maggie in her place. Maggie was so helpful, providing contacts for our stay and wedding. We were very happy with the florist she recommended. You never know what to expect when a stranger is key to an important event. She was like one of the family members when she arrived, helping with corsages, she even offered to go get our dinner when the delivery was delayed. The service was beautiful and she listened and executed our requests flawlessly. We couldn't has asked for a better, kinder, friendlier addition to our day. If you're currently looking for an officiant for your big day in the Tucson metro area look no further. Our wedding experience with Wendy was perfect. Prior to our wedding day, Wendy provided us with a bunch of fantastic ceremony templates and readings. It was hard to decide which one we loved best, but we finally fell in love with the perfect one. My wife and I made the decision to plan our wedding by ourselves and unfortunately did not hire a "day of" coordinator. This was no problem for Wendy as she did an amazing job managing our wedding party during the rehearsal as well as the ceremony. Wendy was so amazing! She was always so quick to respond to any questions we had for her, met with us in person two weeks before the wedding to go over everything we did and did not want included in the ceremony, and even assisted with adding a dedication for my now husband to say to my daughter. Wendy as our officiant teamed with her husband, Michael, as our photographer were a dream to work with for our microwedding in Tucson. From working through best location to having to call Wendy 5 days before our initial date to request a reschedule due to COVID to the day of, she was extremely wonderful to work with! She was very flexible when our plans had to change and offered great suggestions/ alternatives. Perhaps most importantly, she delivered a great ceremony that meant the world to myself, my now husband, and our families. Michael's photos are also turning out absolutely top notch. Could not recommend more!

Wendy was fantastic! Our ceremony was my biggest stressor leading up to the wedding. Wendy took that stress out of my hands as soon as I reached out. Wendy is very responsive, organizing our ceremony was quick and seamless. We had a rehearsal a couple days before. All of us were very nervous, she directed us perfectly. Wendy picked up on what we needed to help us through and took charge while making sure our wants and needs were met. Seeing her just before the wedding was calming, knowing she was there to ensure a wonderful ceremony brought so much to our day. I truly could not ask for more or be happier. Thank you Wendy!!

Wendy Will Help Get You Past the Nervousness
Wendy has not one, but two!!! backups because both her husband and daughter are officiants. also. This knowledge put me, as mother of the bride, exceedingly at ease. What lowered the stress for the couple was the absence of the expectation that they would want to write their own vows. All the bride and groom had to say was “I do.” at the appropriate moment during the ceremony because Wendy had done all the composing already. (Couples do have the option of writing their own vows, however.) Tic that box off your Wedding To Do List!

Amazing and personalized
Wendy was absolutely amazing. Our wedding could not have gone off so perfectly if it were for her. She helped us find our photographer and videographer and really personalized our ceremony that worked beautifully for us. She was so understanding and accommodating with any last minute changes and we just and all round pleasure to work with her. Wendy even went out of her way to pick up the wine and glasses for our Jewish ceremony.
I highly recommend Wendy to everyone. She is perfect is every way.

Great officiant!
After learning about a month before our wedding that my brother wouldn’t be able to travel to our wedding ceremony to marry us we were scrambling to find an officiant. Wendy was amazing from beginning to end and was able to fill in. She was so nice and very professional, we even had a weather delay and once we had a clearing and it was go time she was ready and we got our ceremony and pictures done just in time before the rain started again. Will recommend to everyone.

Wendy made our wedding so personal and special. Our guests kept saying they loved how every word, every reading, and our vows were just so ... us. Wendy was great! She was so quick to respond through the entire process. She gives you a few templates to work with and you can create your own ceremony. We picked some from each template and even added in our own readings. She has so many examples and is so flexible it was great. She will read anything! Again, with every edit or every question she answered very promptly. She is a bit expensive even for the rehearsal but it seems to be standard for most officiants with great personality/reading voice/ professionalism. You get what you pay for..and for Wendy it is great quick and compassionate service.

Book Wendy. She is punctual, professional, personable and incredibly flexible. Her husband can also take photos so the full package is offered. If you want excellent service with a great personality don't hesitate. She has a cool accent too

Wendy was very much a professional. Constantly in contact with us. We had just two weeks to put everything together and she was very accommodating to our needs and cared very much about my grand-daughter and her health, as this was urgently done due to health issues. Could not have asked for anyone more caring about people, process and overall outcome of everything. I would recommend her to all my friends and family. What a blessing it was to meet her in time for this occasion!

Wendy was so easy to work with. I loved that she provided us some templates of different ceremony wordings to use. It made the process easy to pick out what we wanted. We were coming from out of town, so we communicated via email until the wedding day, which wasn't an issue at all. She showed up on time, was very professional, an engaging speaker, took care of filing the certificate and even printed out our full ceremony plus vows on beautiful paper (which I plan to frame!). Overall, I would definitely recommend Wendy to anyone planning a ceremony.

Wendy could not have been more perfect for our wedding. Anthony and I wanted our wedding to be fun but also include inspirational messages. Wendy made the rehearsal a lot of fun and fit right in with our family and friends. We were very happy when she accepted our invite prior to stay for the rehearsal dinner. We felt it was important to have a good relationship and connection to the person that was going to be marrying us and speaking at our ceremony. Since we had a destination wedding in Arizona, we were not able to meet our vendors in person. Wendy video chatted with us for over an hour and made us feel comfortable and was very accommodating to our vision for the ceremony. We chose to combine a few different pieces of her sample ceremony options and she did exactly what we wanted. Thank you Wendy for making our wedding planning and experience so wonderful!

My daughter and new son-in-law chose a destination wedding which was 3000 miles from their home. They found their amazing officiant, Wendy Kotch, on the internet and were very impressed with her website. When they contacted her, they were even more impressed after speaking with her. She made them feel very comfortable and truly listened to their wishes and desires for their wedding ceremony. My daughter was so happy that Wendy was truly nonjudgmental and worked with them on what they wanted as their vows. She and her now husband skyped with Wendy numerous times before the wedding and when they finally met at the wedding rehearsal, they felt like old friends! My husband and I met Wendy ourselves for the first time at the rehearsal as well and immediately felt comfortable with her. We had a chance to chat at the rehearsal dinner and we truly enjoyed her company. She absolutely assured us that the ceremony would be perfect which put my mind at ease, no stress with her at all! Well, the ceremony was better than perfect...I cried all the way through it. Wendy's words were exactly right filled with so much happiness, joy and love! My daughter was married in the desert and Wendy read a desert poem which I shall never forget...it was so beautiful and meaningful. Wendy exudes confidence and professionalism. She started the wedding off on the right foot and I heard from many of our guests that they were very moved by her words. I will never be able to thank Wendy enough for the love she showed to our family. We are all so thankful that she was such a wonderful part of the wedding day. The ceremony is so important and she could not have made it any more incredible. Thank you again for everything, Wendy!

You will NOT be sorry with Wendy! She is beyond amazing, her response time to our questions were very quick and she was very flexible with our "tight schedule" before I had to head back to the Middle East. We were both beyond nervous but as soon as Wendy showed up the nervousness went away. Amazing speaker, amazing presence, and we will be using her again for our BIG wedding next year!

Wendy was just what we wanted in an officiant. She sent us a number of ceremony options which we used as a starting point for our service. She read what we wrote and provided a few suggestions to improve the flow which we incorporated. We live out of town and did everything by e-mail. Wendy was prompt to get back to us when we had questions. On the day of our wedding she was on time, performed a lovely service, took care of the license and was supportive throughout the entire process. Many of our guests commented on her lovely voice. Amazingly, she is very reasonably priced.

Wendy was wonderful! Our wedding was beautiful, she has a loud clear voice and she conducted a wonderful wedding for us. We are thankful to have had her help for our special day. We didnt have an usher for our wedding, and people were standing around before the ceremony before taking their seat. With my permisson, Wendy went out of her way to make an announcement that the wedding was about to start and invited everyone to take a seat. It meant alot to us that she was so helpful. Wendy was amazing! She was very helpful in helping my fiancé and I come up with the perfect ceremony that fit our needs and in letting us make adjustments to make it unique to us. She answered every e-mail that I sent her quickly and professionally, and was willing to be flexible with our date in the event that my fiancé had problems with his visa to get here in time (which thankfully he didn't!) It was also nice with her husband as our photographer, because they worked flawlessly together and I only had to contact one person- which when you are planning a wedding cuts back on a lot of work. He was wonderful as well!

Wendy is fabulous:) When I first began my search for officiants it was hard to find someone that was a good match. My husband and I are not particularly religious however we still wanted our ceremony to be meaningful. Wendy helped us put together the perfect ceremony and it was just that. Not only did she help with the process leading up to the wedding she was very calm during the wedding which really meant a lot to me because I was very nervous and there were a lot of guests in attendance. In addition she goes above and beyond with things such as having our vows printed ahead of time so we didn't have to whip out a crumpled up piece of paper during our big moment. I would recommend her a thousand times over! Plus her British accent adds the perfect touch of elegance;)

Wendy is wonderful! She was recommended to me by my sister who attended a wedding that Wendy officiated, and I am glad she did! She is ready, willing and able to meet you anywhere to practice and calm those nerves. I love that when you initially meet her that she asks a lot of questions about you and gets a sense of who you are as a couple. During the ceremony she didn't go off on any tangents or anything (I've heard from other friends who were brides having this happen to them) and she speaks loud and clear, not to mention with an awesome British accent. Wendy did an amazing job and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone :)
