You will not regret!
I can not praise Wendy and Paul enough! Wendy has so much patience as I would sometimes take some time to respond due to my demanding job and not having a wedding planner/coordinator but she was the absolute best at taking the time to figure things out and have an amazing ceremony prepared. Paul was our officiant and we had him there for the rehearsal as well. We were so thrilled to have them on our team and so glad they were willing to travel to the coast. Yes, they are on the higher side of cost but the team is worth it and in the end, the ceremony is what a wedding is all about

Wendy officiated our wedding this past summer and we were thrilled with her services! She was extremely professional throughout the entire process, from planning through the day of, and she even took care of filing our marriage license so we could just focus on celebrating. We had an initial phone call where we got to know her, and she learned about us and our story. Then when we got closer to the day of, she sent us a draft of the ceremony that we could edit and add to so that we could make it our own. She was on time and well-prepared on the day of, and the ceremony went extremely smoothly. From the first contact my now wife had with Wendy till the end of our wedding Wendy was simply amazing. We are from out of state and didn’t even have a venue. Wendy was kind and gave us some great recommendations and ideas for the perfect spot to say our I do’s. Even the county clerk told us we are in great hands when she found out who our officiant was. We booked Wendy to officiate our wedding and didn’t really know what to expect. When I reached out, she got back to me right away and we had a Zoom call to make sure it was a good fit! I really liked this because we live out of state and finding vendors we connected with was more difficult. But, Wendy was super kind, helpful, cheerful, and positive. We got good vibes right away! For both our rehearsal and ceremony she was on time, prepared, and such a calming presence. Something we really needed in the midst of wedding chaos! She was very helpful in making sure we acquired our marriage license correctly and helped us fill it out. All around, I would highly recommend using Wendy as your wedding officiant. She was lovely!

Fantastic and patient
Wendy was prompt in replying to my inquiry and explaining the process. Since we did not do a rehearsal, she met with those playing a part in the ceremony. Besides an hour delay from late guests, the ceremony was perfect and everyone was confident about what to do. Wendy was happy to stay well past what was already discussed.

My husband and I met Wendy at the Bend Wedding Expo last spring and we immediately clicked. She is so sweet, warm, and welcoming and we knew we wanted to work with her. She was actually the first vendor we hired once we booked our day!
Working with Wendy was streamlined and easy. We had a call with her a few months before our wedding day to connect and get to know one another. After that call, she sent us details on our ceremony script and how to obtain our marriage license.
We had her join us for our rehearsal, which I highly recommend because she helped walk us through all the movements and had great advice on the little details.
She showed up on time and ready to go day of. She was so helpful and sweet. The ceremony itself was absolutely beautiful, and we had multiple guests come up to us afterwards saying how magical it was.
We definitely recommend Wendy to anyone looking for an officiant in Central Oregon.

Being new to Bend ,Oregon,I was looking through many sites for an intimate small wedding ceremony options in Oregon. As soon as , I saw Wendy Duncan’s website with her photos . Her presence of happiness and character shined and caught my eye . The decision was easily made to have her guide us through the ceremony. She was so caring ,kind ,and patient with questions, and schedules. I would highly recommend and encourage couples to place her at top of their list for orchestrating their wedding ceremony.

Just Do It!
Wendy was simply amazing! We booked her sort of last minute, and she was more than accommodating for all of our strange and corky requests. She gave us some templates to build our vows off of, and we were able to take them and run with them. Upon speaking and meeting with her, she was all smiles, carrying a natural sense of calm and fun at the same time! Do yourself a favor, and feel confident in booking with Wendy!

An Exceptional Officiant!
Where do I even begin with Wendy? She was an absolute gem as our officiant! From the moment we met her, we knew she was the perfect fit for our special day. Wendy's warmth and professionalism immediately put us at ease during the planning process.
Leading up to the wedding, Wendy was incredibly attentive, making sure every detail of our ceremony reflected our personalities and love story. She took the time to get to know us as a couple, and it truly showed in the heartfelt words she spoke during the ceremony.
On the big day, Wendy exceeded all expectations. Her delivery was flawless, and her words resonated with everyone present. We received countless compliments from our guests about how moving and beautiful the ceremony was, and it's all thanks to Wendy.
Not only is Wendy an amazing officiant, but she's also a wonderful person. Her genuine care and dedication to making our day perfect were evident throughout the entire process. Best Officiant
Wendy helped us through the wedding planning journey, all the way through the rehearsal, the vows, and so much more. I received wonderful remarks from wedding guests, how eloquently she spoke, the words thoughtfully chosen, and how she presented herself. The ceremony was just how we wanted it. Wendy is so professional, thorough, and kind. We were so happy to have had her support on our big day. She helped us with the marriage license, our rehearsal, our vows, and her expertise came through in all the ways she was there for us. Down to my (bride) pre ceremony panic after realizing the grooms rings among other items didn’t make it to the venue. She truly went above and beyond for us. We are so grateful!

Wendy is the perfect officiant! In our initial conversation she was kind and thoughtful, and she helped guide us to the exact program we wanted. Wendy quickly integrated our feedback on the ceremony into her final plan, which turned out exactly the way we had hoped that it would. She was a fun and calming presence during the ceremony (including when my partner accidentally tried to put my ring on the wrong hand). We completely recommend Wendy if you’re looking for a Central Oregon officiant.

Fantastic Officiant!
Wendy was an exceptional officiant. She is a true professional with the biggest heart and warmest smile. We discussed our ceremony early on, and she drafted a document with many options for vows and readings to choose from. She openly accepted any feedback we shared. On our wedding day, she wore a beautiful long black dress, in honor of the black tie dress code. I would choose her again in a heartbeat!

I can’t say enough in words about how wonderful Wendy is! But I will try. First of all, she responded very quickly to our request for information, which meant a lot to us! She arranged a meeting over zoom with us so we could get to know each other, and what we wanted in our ceremony. The results were amazing; it was like she paid attention so much to our personal wishes and the crafted a beautiful ceremony from them, combining what we wanted with her expertise. Aside from all of that , Wendy is a very warm, approachable person who really cares. Everyone at our wedding commented on her ease and sweet nature during our ceremony. She just has a way of connecting that is really wonderful. We had an outdoor wedding at Smith Rock, and it got very cold and rained. Wendy made sure everyone was as comfortable as could be expected, and the ceremony went off beautifully, umbrellas and all. If you are looking for a truly wonderful officiant, look no further❤️

What a team Paul and Wendy are! Paul was the officiant for our wedding at Sunriver Resort on 7/15/23. He presented the ceremony in a professional, elegant, beautiful manner. The written words of the ceremony were heart warming and genuine, and Paul projected clearly and loudly. Paul had lots of helpful tips for us at the rehearsal! Wendy and Paul were absolutely lovely to work with leading up to the ceremony- responsive, caring, and willing to receive feedback. I would recommend their services a million times over!

Having Wendy officiate our ceremony was amazing!
Wendy has been such a pleasure to work with!!! She has been very responsive and flexible even when we changed a location of the ceremony and she had to drive for a couple of hours to get there. She is the most easy going and adventurous officiant I've ever met! We had a winter Wonderland wedding and she went above and beyond to make our day extra special! Her script of our ceremony made me teary eyed, it was perfect from the start and didn't need any changes. I highly recommend Wendy for any wedding, be it a traditional ceremony or an elopment in some crazy outdoor location!!! Thank you Wendy!!!

We can’t say enough good things about Wendy, she was more than amazing.
We were so blessed to have Wendy complete our ceremony. Wendy was professional, kind, responsive, and a gentle soul. She was more than helpful for our wedding. We wanted to write our own vows at first, then Wendy sent her religious written vows and the words melted our hearts. The time she takes with the vows really made us feel cared for and in good hands. Vows are something that bond you and are kept forever, they must be special. Wendy was so kind and we couldn’t have made a better decision. She was early to the ceremony and made sure she walked us through everything from A to Z when it came to paperwork, signing, and ceremony process. she was more than helpful. If we could give more than 5 stars we would. Thank you so much Wendy for such a gorgeous ceremony.

Simple and amazing
Amazing layout of the ceremony, my now husband and I where going to do personalized vows, but Wendy provide vows for us to repeat which had everything we wanted to say to each other. I couldn't have asked for more!

Wendy guided us each step with enthusiasm and calmness. As lockdown due to the pandemic tightened, Wendy kept us on a steady path, even arranging a venue on private property at Smith’s Rock. Rather than a compromise due to the pandemic we enjoyed a perfectly peaceful, thoroughly organized ceremony with every detail thoughtfully arranged. More than we could have asked for
We met Wendy briefly at my sister-in-laws wedding as their officiant and we knew right away she would be the one to marry us when we tied the knot. She was so friendly and helpful during the months leading up to the wedding. She answered any and all of our questions and was really flexible with us on timeline. She even called my (now) husband before the wedding with a final adjustment we completely over looked initially to make the ceremony even smoother than before. She was beyond sweet and it felt like she was really happy to be a part of our special day. We would recommend her to absolutely anyone that asked!

Wendy Duncan made the process so easy for us. We weren’t sure what we wanted for the ceremony and vows but after a short conversation Wendy provided options to us that really helped us clarify. Her professionalism and joyful attitude put us at ease and made our day outstanding. We’re so happy we hired Wendy. She was super professional, spoke with me many times before the wedding over texts, phone calls and email. She worked with us and wrote us many different drafts and options for our ceremony. She added special touches that we requested and was happy to change anything we wanted. She offered her services for the rehearsal the day before and we’re SO glad we decided to do that. She directed us all very kindly and made sure we knew our roles so we felt confident going into the ceremony the next day. She was super pleasant and easy to be around. We got tons of compliments from guests after the ceremony about her readings and professionalism. She also helped keep the bridesmaids and I on time and came to get us to make sure we were feeling good about everything right before the ceremony started. She was very experienced and we would definitely recommend her.

Wonderful experience!
Wendy was a very good choice for officiating our marriage. She helped us select good wording for our ceremony and gave us a number of options, well thought out, that helped us make it a memorable experience. Kind and easy to work with
Wendy was very professional and worked with me through all of my requests. She was very responsive and easy to work with. I couldn’t meet Wendy until the wedding day; but I could tell over the phone that she was genuine, kind and loving person. I liked her personality immediately.

Wendy is incredible!
Wendy was so amazing through the entire process! She is friendly, sweet and so good at what she does. We requested non-denominational vows and she wrote the most beautiful draft, allowing us to choose pieces to keep or remove. She was very responsive and helpful with any and all of our questions about marriage licensees as well, which was such a blessing since we live in Michigan and we were getting married in Oregon! On the day of, Wendy was there on time, gave great direction on what we do, and had the best energy through the entire ceremony and afterwards as we signed and took photos. Everyone at our wedding was so impressed with the vows! We are still talking about them and re-reading them today! We appreciate you so much Wendy!! Thank you for everything :)
