Wendi did all of our engagement and wedding photos and she is absolutely stellar as a person, and it shows in her photo work. Wendi is excellent to communicate with for planning and asks all the right questions to really understand what you’re looking for. She helped us easily pose for the photos and kept our timeline on our wedding day moving to make all of the photo magic happen! We have loved the sneak-peeks posted to facebook quickly so that we can see the magic and enjoy some of our photos super soon. We could not recommend Wendi more. Wendi was great to work with!! We purchased the platinum package which included engagement photos as well. I was not super particular or picky about what I wanted or needed but Wendi was great about making suggestions for both the engagement session and at the wedding and making sure we weren’t missing anything important. The photos turned out amazing!! She also made a timeline for the day of the wedding, and kept us running on schedule, but was also flexible when we needed to make changes.
We got our sneak peaks back for both the engagement session and after the wedding quickly and all the photos were beautiful!! I had such a hard time selecting my favorites for the wedding album. 😊
I think her pricing is very fair and straight forward would recommend her photographer!!

Best photographer in Western Michigan!
Wendi is absolutely amazing to work with! My now Husband and I are sorta awkward when it comes to taking photos and posing correctly. We had no issues at all! Wendi knew how to direct us with poses and make us laugh to create such a fun and memorable day & photos.
The day of Wendi was super flexible with any changes and even recommended us an alternative location at a green house and IT WAS PERFECT and BEAUTIFUL. She really knows what she's doing!
We have only received a few sneak peak photos and they're absolutely beautiful. Would recommend Wendi to everyone having a wedding in the Western Michigan area!

Wendi exceeded our expectations! From the moment we had our first conversation, I knew she would be the perfect match to capture our wedding photos. She is extremely organized, responsive, and knows how to get the most perfect photos. On our wedding day, we were running behind, but Wendi remained calm and professional the entire time. I was the MOB but I am also own my own a Wedding Coordinating business. I have always admired Wendi’s work. I love to refer my clients to her. That is why I did not hesitate to hire her for my daughter’s wedding. We are absolutely thrilled with the pictures we have seen so far. They are absolutely beautiful. Wendi is amazing at what she does. She was able to coordinate with the other vendors the day of my wedding so everyone knew what was going on. She got pictures of all the big moments and so many little ones I didn’t know were happening (which are the special ones). She met with me and my now husband prior to get an idea of the sort of photos we were looking for. She also helped everyone feel comfortable while getting their pictures taken so there is true joy in every picture (no awkwardness). Overall she’s amazing and I’d choose her again in a heart beat.

Wendi was the most amazing photographer ever! She did both our engagement shoot and our wedding, and was really fun to work with. All of our pictures are stunning! Wendi Curtis took engagement and ceremony/ reception photos for our daughters wedding. She is an artist with her photography while being kind and very professional. My daughter had seasonal engagement photos taken by Wendi and they captured the happy couple through all four seasons. Choosing Wendi was by far one of my best decisions we made. The first time I spoke to her on the phone I felt an immediate connection and could feel her passion for capturing magical moments. Coming up to the wedding she helped me organize the day and plan it to me and my husband's desires. The day of she made us feel like we were the most confident people on Earth! We felt so comfortable. My husband is usually shy to the camera and he felt that Wendi's energy was extremely contagious and made the experience so much easier and enjoyable for him. Absolutely we would recommend Wendi Curtis for any photography needs! Her personality and energy was perfect to keep everyone engaged on our wedding day, which also made it easier to get a lot of great photos within a set timeframe. She's very good at time management and estimating how long she will need. I thought we weren't going to have enough time for all that we were going to do, but she was spot on with timing and we were in place for our grand entrance ahead of schedule. If she thinks of an idea, just go with it... seriously! Wendi has a great creative eye and you won't regret trusting her advice! Wendi has been amazing to work with. We originally booked her for our wedding in 2020 and decided to postpone until 2021. Wendi was so accommodating and understanding through the entire process.
Originally, we weren't going to do engagement pictures but I am so glad we did! Our pictures turned out amazing! Wendi walked around Chicago with us and made sure we had all of the shots that we wanted and they are perfect! She had a very quick turn around and got our pictures back to us within a few weeks! It was so nice to have someone from home when you're in a new place. She made us feel comfortable!
When I had to reschedule my wedding for a second time due to the wedding venue going out of business, Wendi again was so accommodating and changed our date, again. She even went as far as sending us other venues that she's worked at as places for us to look at. I could not recommend Wendi enough and I can't wait for her to photograph our wedding! Getting married in winter is always a risk. But we couldn’t have asked for a better day. I couldn’t select only one as a favorite. I love looking at our photos and remember it like it was yesterday. I would highly recommend Wendy for your wedding/ photography needs.

Incredibly professional and easy to work with photographer
This review is long overdue - but while reviewing this year I am just over the moon with our decision to go with Wendi as our wedding photographer. Our pictures turned out wonderful. She has so much experience and was able to help guide us to make sure that we were able to fit in everything we were hoping for into our day, without it feeling forced or frustrating. Incredibly professional, easy to work with, and allowed us to capture the incredible day as it was instead of having too many forced postures (not what we wanted). Since we were coming in from out of town, we weren't able to meet in person until our wedding day, but she still took the time to facetime with us to understand our goals. If you are considering going with Wendi at all - I would say don't hesitate. She was wonderful and will capture your special day beautifully!

Our wedding was perfect!
Wendi was so great to work with! She was flexible with our funky schedule and her 8 hour package was perfect for our needs. She was affordable too which was what we needed. Her work is incredible. We are very pleased with all of those memories she captured! My husband and I have already recommended her to a few of our family and friends that are engaged.

We chose Wendi because of her experience of doing weddings. She is very professional in everything she does. She spent countless time on the phone because my son and daughter in law to be live in Maryland and Wendi wanted to make sure she got their wishes. She visited the venue to make sure she could capture the best photos that would also bring the beauty of nature into them. I cannot say enough good things about Wendi! She is a true pro in every sense of the word. She took the time to ask questions and get to know us and get a feel for what we wanted for our photos. She did an amazing job on our engagement photos, even travelling into Chicago and spending time going to all the locations we wanted and were special to us. Even after getting food poisoning the night before our wedding, she showed up on our wedding day with a smile on her face and ready to go, she didn't skip a beat. We had a preview of about 60-70 photos on FB within 2 days of our wedding, and had all photos in a month. If I had to do it all again, I would choose her everytime! My best friend and sister in law is also using her!

I highly recommend Wendi! She is extremely easy to interact with and flexible if you live on a tight schedule. I really appreciated her experience and knowledge related to weddings and found her extremely helpful in planning the details of my perfect wedding! She was able to be assertive with my wild family to keep things flowing yet also so fun to make everyone smile for the camera! We did not have a videographer for our wedding and I don’t regret that choice as Wendi provided me with a wide variety of beautiful images from our special day. She is very creative to stage photos but I am so pleased with the amount of natural in the moment images that were captured as well. Also, my sneak peak photos were posted within 2 days after our wedding and I received access to all my photos within one month.

Wendi Curtis did our wedding in March - it was 30 degree day during the polar vortex. It was absolutely freezing and she was INCREDIBLE!! She found beautiful photo spots for us and our very large party. My husband and I had a wedding party of 20 people and she was so good with arranging all of us, and wasting no time. She kept track of the shecedule and stuck to it - so I did not have to check (stress over) the time.
Wendi Curtis photographed my wedding, as well as my 3 sisters. She has done multiple family photo sessions with my large family in all seasons of the year and has done an amazing job.
When I post our wedding photos online - many people ask who our photographer was - we are proud to say: WENDI CURTIS is the one to go to!

Wendi did an amazing job on our May wedding! She was fantastic to work with and was SO helpful during the planning process. She guided us through the day and helped us with the timeline, which was so awesome sine we had never planned a wedding before. She was receptive to our vision but also honest with us about what would not work. She was great at getting the everyones attention in a professional and upbeat way so we could get the photos we wanted. At one point after the ceremony we had taken too much time talking with guests and I decided we should forget going to one of the other locations for pictures. Wendi reminded me how much I had wanted to get to that location and reassured me that we would be fine with time and that she could quickly get a few shots and not make us late to the reception. I am so happy she did because the pictures turned out great and we had more than enough time. We highly recommend Wendi! My only regret is not having her take engagement photos for us, we decided not to do them at all. After seeing our wedding photos I wish we had!

Where do I begin? My husband and I originally met Wendi at a close friend of ours' wedding. She was sly enough to hand my then-boyfriend her business card, and she was one of the first photographers I reached out to a year later when we were (finally) engaged. Wendi's pure excitement and expertise outshone all other responses I received, and combined with her stellar portfolio, I knew that she was the best photographer for us. For a couple planning a wedding in Michigan while living on the East Coast, Wendi made it so easy for us by providing her tips, tricks and timeline recommendations so that our wedding day would run as smooth as possible. Soon after booking Wendi, she asked if we would be interested in doing an engagement shoot in NYC while she was there on vacation. We were completely floored by the offer (Wendi may be the only person I know who didn't mind working on a vacation!), and we are SO glad we accepted it! We have iconic NYC settings and memories for us to look back on, and it was a great way to loosen up and get to know her and her photography style. Not only that, but Wendi made us a GORGEOUS guest sign-in book out of our photos that we still get compliments on. On our wedding day, Wendi was early, calm, made us feel comfortable, went with the flow, kept our groomsmen and bridesmaids in order and captured everything perfectly. Not a week goes by without me looking at our keepsake book, scrolling through our online gallery and reliving all of the amazing memories that she was able to capture. We had the best time working with Wendi! Every time I talked with her on the phone I would hang up with the biggest smile on my face. With all the stress of planning, she really put me at ease and was so helpful with setting up a game plan and timeline for our pictures! We didn't want to spend hours and hours taking pictures and wanted to have a lot of fun during them, with Wendi we got so many great shots and had a blast. Amazing Amazing Amazing! I cannot thank Wendi enough for her incredible pictures. We had Wendi for our engagement session and wedding day. Her pictures are stunning. She interacts with the bridal group and makes everyone feel comfortable and relaxed. She sees the image that she wants in her mind, and then places you in the perfect position to get the picture and it turns out beautiful. Her eye for a great photo is fantastic! She captured the emotions in every moment, which was something that was very important to me. Her portfolio of brides speaks for itself. I could not any more pleased with her work.
Wendi replies to emails the same day. She will answer your questions, over and over again, to make you feel comfortable about the big day. My husband and I went to Wendi's house and sat in her office for TWO HOURS talking about the layout of our wedding day. Wendi went over every little detail, and didn't make us feel ridiculous for spending so much time planning out the day. She took the stress off my shoulders because she was so well organized and prepared.
Wendi is worth every penny that she asks for her photography. After personally working with her, I think her prices are beyond reasonable. Wedding photos last a life time, don't cheap yourself out of those memories. Amazing photography team! As mother of the bride I supported my daughter's choice of photographer and I'm so glad she chose Wendi! She came to Saginaw from Grand Rapids several hours early to be there in case of bad weather on wedding day, 12-31-15.
She and her assistant were professional, gracious and took absolutely stunning pictures. Wendi was easy to work with and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer for the wedding! I would highly recommend her!

Wendi is amazing! She has several different packages available for people with different budgets, and is very flexible about customizing them to what is most important to you. I had the platinum package, which included a second photographer and I was so impressed with her as well! Together they captured the most important moments of the day, and had such a great attitude the entire day. Not only was she awesome, but I had a sneak preview of 65 pictures that she published on facebook within 24 hours!! That is unheard of. She guaranteed all my photos by our one month mark, and she had them to me early! It only took her 3 weeks, and we had 1800 photos! I had such a great experience with Wendi, I would recommend her to anyone!

Wendi did our engagement session as well as our wedding photos and we are in love with all of the pictures! She is so talented and creative. All of our pictures look so natural and so many of them catch our personalities so well!
We had several awkward family situations to deal with on our wedding day (divorces, etc.), but Wendi handled everything so well and made things not awkward! We didn't plan much time for family pictures, but Wendi knows where to place people and gets things done quickly!
After our wedding, Wendi was so timely in getting our pictures to us! We got a link to see all the pictures online while we were still on our honeymoon and then received the print book the week we got back! I can't wait to choose pictures for the album.
We were on a budget for our wedding and photography was one thing that we decided was important enough to splurge on... we will never regret it! I recommend Wendi to all of the brides that I know... she is spectacular!

I had Wendi Curtis as my photographer for my May 15th wedding this spring and could not be HAPPIER! She was amazing from our first meeting all the way to the finish! Wendi is very professional, yet extremely fun, and most of all creative! I have received so many compliments on my photos and continue to as well. She made the day easy, which was very much appreciated! She worked with not only my schedule, but the schedule of the other vendors. I was extremely happy with how my photos turned out. Wendi is reasonably priced for the great work and time she puts in to each photo. She should have charged way more, but that's another reason I loved her. She enjoys what she is doing and doesn't feel the need to charge an arm and a leg which in turn will bring her more happy clients like me.

Wendi did my photography for my wedding in Montego Bay Jamaica in march. She was amazing! All my pictures were perfect. There were so many great pictures I would not have thought of and she even helped me with some of my planning! Wendi has done many destination weddings before and had great ideas for the ceremony, timing of events, etc. she was such a big help we could not have done it without her.

Oh boy what can I say about this lady!!! An angelic miracle. We met her at a wedding show and we hit it off right away. She made us an offer, terms had changed on our end, but she still honored her agreement!!! Score in my book! We paid for her travel, she brought an assistant, took over 1,000 photos day of the wedding and the day after, and released all rights to them. I can't rave enough about this amazing lady. She is very flexible, willing to work out a payment plan, takes unforgettable photos. Looking at my photos makes me want to do it all over again, she definitely told our story...and has helped us create a legacy for our future family. She is our photographer for life, or until she retires. If you are an Alaskan bride looking for a photographer, definitely contact her....it will be worth your while.

I ran into Wendi at the Wedding Expo the January before our wedding. Aside from the venue, she was the first vendor I booked and I couldn't have been happier!

Wendi and her assistant were so wonderful! While planning, my husband and I decided photography was the thing we wanted to focus most on. We wanted someone to capture our special day so we could remember it forever, and she did a wonderful job. She is so flexible, creative and patient. I emailed her a list of photo ops I wanted included and she made sure we hit each one, no questions asked! We really couldn't be happier with our photos and her services.
