My wife and I just got married at Black Forest by Wedgewood. The ceremony was beautiful, the reception was a blast, and the entire team made the process easy, unique, and absolutely gorgeous. Our ceremony coordinator Alissa made sure that everything ran super smoothly and added several subtle and beautiful touches to our decor (putting extra fairy lights on the flowers, moving our arch decor inside for the reception) that made everything feel so personal and special! George, our banquet captain, helped with everything reception related and was incredibly on top of everything! Alex, our banquet served and Mikey, our bartender made sure the food and drinks kept flowing and that none of our guests ever needed or had to wait for anything. The food from our chefs, John and JT, was delicious. We have nothing but rave reviews to give about the venue and our entire team; thank you again from the bottoms of our hearts for a beautiful wedding. -

We had the best time, the meetings, the venue and the people working there made our night as smooth as possible! Loved working with Juli, highly recommend her as a wedding coordinator and George was amazing as well when he took over for Juli at end of the night. Highly recommend this venue, the easiest decision we made.
Our DJ was also amazing, Maggie was so easy to work with and super fun and flexible. Could not have asked for a better team for our wedding! -

My wife and I had the pleasure of getting married in last week's snow storm and I couldn't write enough great reviews for the staff and wedding coordinator. From the very first meeting until we walked out Saturday night.
Wedding Planner- Mo did an amazing job. She took great care of the event itself and took pride in our wedding. She was personable, friendly, kind, and made everything enjoyable for us. She allowed our dogs to be apart of our special day. -

All of the staff at Black Forest were so easy to work with from the beginning stages, through the middle stages, and on our wedding day. Lyndsey was the first person we talked to and she completely sold us on the venue with how informative and friendly she was and just an all around rock star! They worked with our schedules and moved things around to make everything convenient for us as we had 95% of our wedding party and guests traveling from out of state - that is something we can't thank them enough for. Our wedding day was stress free and fun (even through the rain!) because of good communication and thorough planning. Yvonne and Lexi were also great to work with for our last planning call and as our captain, respectively. You can tell everyone works well together because there was never a skipped beat when talking to any of the staff. Not to mention, the venue is beautiful and has a perfect mix between inside elegance and outside forest. We also had a great experience with the recommended Dj service and were so thankful to have Maggie as our DJ - she got so many compliments throughout the night on the music selection! -

Book this venue ASAP. From our first meeting with our planner, Lindsay, everything went smoothly. It was so easy. Lindsay was so organized and accommodating. I was helping plan my sons wedding from the Midwest and was so worried about being out of state but it couldn’t have gone better. She answered all our questions and was so kind and fun to work with. I miss her!!!!! This was a dream. I have hosted lots of events back in the Minneapolis area and no place or staff compares to Black Forest. It’s beautiful and such a good value. I would love to have another event there! It was a dream!!!! -

We knew from planning our wedding with Lindsey, Mo, Alex and Yvonne that our wedding night at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings would be the best night of our lives and everyone there ensured it was! Both Lindsey and Kaylee took such good care of us all night, making sure we had all the food and drinks we wanted and kept us on schedule! Frank made the best tasting appetizers and had a great buffet spread for us! Tyler H from DJ Maestro kept the night alive with the perfect music for each part of the night! Dave crushed it with our open bar, supported the rounds of shots throughout the night and helped us offer virgin drink options for any of our non-drinkers! With everyone’s help at Black Forest, it is a night I never wanted to end! And both Jessica and Madison from Yellow Paddle photography captured all the details and love so my wife and I can relive the night forever! -

Absolutely recommend this gorgeous venue with a great planning team!
We just had the most amazing wedding at Wedgewood Wedding’s Black Forest venue! We planned our wedding from out of state and the entire planning crew made it so easy for us right from the beginning. Lindsey is absolutely phenomenal! We had worked with her when we virtually explored the venue and on some of the detail calls so we were super excited to hear she was our day of coordinator! She made our wedding day special! Along the planning process we worked with Mo, Alex and Yvonne who all made the planning process so simple (and shoutout to their binder which helped us prepare for each meeting). Kaylee was our banquet captain and took over the night after dinner. She did a wonderful job making sure we had all the food and drinks we could want. And she helped clean everything up at the end of the night. We didn’t have to do anything but enjoy ourselves the entire night, it is definitely a wedding we want to relive over and over!
We booked the premier package so we had everything included we wanted. This included the most gorgeous acrylic invites! We added their lawn games which was a fun touch for all the non-dancers at the wedding. We got Tyler H from DJ Maestro included and he was great, changing the music to fit the mood throughout the night and rolling with last minute song adjustments! Our cake was not only beautiful but also delicious and Icing on The Cake was so easy to work with!
Frank made a delicious spread of food! They made sure we got a plate of appetizers and a moment to enjoy just ourselves right after the ceremony. And they even gave us an extra plate of appetizers at our head table since we were so excited for them! The buffet had so many options, everyone was able to enjoy. The late night tater tot bar was a hit and needed for the great open bar! Dave made sure to make our specialty cocktails exactly how we like!
Although their indoor ceremony space was a perfect backup, we loved the outdoor ceremony space! And even though there was a little bit of rain around the ceremony, they provided clear umbrellas to make sure we could say our vows out in front of the beautiful forest.
We would not have been able to have the wedding we did without everyone at Black Forest’s help! Highly, highly recommend! -

Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin. I had my wedding last Friday with my now-husband Luke and it had literally with no issues. I planned this wedding in 6 months, had 3 meetings with the venue and all their amazing coordinators, including Lindsey, Mo, and Yvonne, who were so unbelievably nice and on top of all the details and plans I gave them. I got to have my dream wedding with their help, and if that wasn't enough, I got to do it worry-free. I can't recommend this place enough for people looking to have a more package-inclusive wedding where they can relax and have fun at the most beautiful venue!! Thank you again, Lindsey, Mo, and everyone else on staff! You guys are absolutely fantastic and your skills are beyond appreciated!! -

The venue is beautiful but the company and staff made it such a wonderful experience. We worked with Alex and Mo while planning our wedding. They were extremely responsive and knowledgeable. The two of them made this experience so enjoyable. The rehearsal the day before was run by Alex and she was extremely detail oriented and did a great job making sure everyone knew where they should be. The day of the wedding they had all our decorations set up perfect and we had nothing to worry about at all. The icing on the cake was that Alex bustled my wedding dress before the reception!!! Honestly it’s the little details that help take all the stress away. Kaylee, Lexi, and Yvonne were incredible servers, Dave and Mike did great behind the bar, Chef Frank did awesome on the food and Dylan killed it on dishes! Highly recommend this venue, their staff really make it what it is! -

It was the best wedding!
The venue was truly on top of it! Mo did a great job all night staying on top of our needs before we knew we needed something. Our Dj was amazing, she had the whole floor dancing and enjoying the wedding as much as we were! The food was great and had plenty of options for everyone. The bartender was so awesome all night, he never seemed stressed and just vibed all night. The venue was beautiful and we had the perfect amount of snow on the ground.
The only down fall we did have was our coordinator changed multiple times and it made small things fall through that would have been prevented with consistency. Lindsey did a great job at stepping it up at the end for us we do appreciate what she did do! -

Nothing short of Amazing
Finding words to describe this venue is very hard. From start to finish the whole process was very easy. The team there was always quick to respond and made us feel like family. Lindsey our wedding coordinator was so much fun to work with and she made our dreams come true. I love that everything was included, from the cake and the food to the DJ. Sydney was our DJ the night of our wedding and I can’t say enough good things about her. She was so sweet and did an amazing job choosing our music!!
Our whole team the day of our wedding was fantastic. Nicole was our captain and once Lindsey left for the night she was always checking in on us. Katie and John did a wonderful job serving and prepping the food. There is not a thing we would change about our wedding and that is all because of Black Forest Weddings By Wedgewood. -

The staff was great. Our Planners and Coordinators were amazing. Shout out to Katrina, Lindsey, and Alex for working together and making the day of as great as they could. These ladies were amazing when it came to the work that they did. Another huge shoutout to the Banquet Captain: Mo. It's amazing what one person can do when the venue is short staffed. And thanks to Katie N and Katie S for backing Mo and stepping in for our "huge" party of 95. Speaking of which, Dave the bartender was a fan favorite. Make sure you get the top shelf open bar option if you want your guests to have a great time.
Our experience with Wedgewood was overall great. This review would've lost a star in my opinion due to the short-staffed event and seeming as if everything was overwhelmed, but after meeting with the Manager Nicole, her efforts to make things right with us and hearing our gripes and groans gives us a good feeling with their intentions and we understand that staffing is something out of their control. -

There is not even enough words to describe how incredible this venue was. It is not just a venue, it includes everything you would could possible need for a price you can actually afford: food, decor, linens, silverware, glasses, ceremony space, reception space, photo booth, many extra add ons, and most importantly it includes incredible people. We had Lindsey as our coordinator and she went so above and beyond to make our day perfect and special. I honestly dont know what I would have done if I did not have her helping me through everything! She helped provide us with so many extra special things just made everything so perfect.

ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING! Black Forest by Wedgewood made the wedding planning process so fun and easy while also ensuring that our special day was everything that we hoped for and more!
From Day 1 when we first toured the Black Forest venue we had the amazing opportunity to work with Lindsey who then became our wedding planner and coordinator. She did everything in her power to answer our questions, give her honest opinions, and help us along every step of the planning process to include being there on our wedding day with our Captain Mo who was also fabulous! She was truly a blessing for our planning process and we are so thankful to have had the chance to work with her and get to know her better!
Wedgewood is clearly well versed in wedding planning because they made every aspect of the process as painless and easy as possible. From having designated photographers, florists, and DJs, to providing walk throughs and detailed day-of outlines, they are clearly experts in their craft. Not only did they take care of a lot of the bigger planning and coordinating, but they also kept all of the small details in mind by providing safety pins and bobby pins in the bridal suite, ensuring that the Bride and Groom eat and drink, working with family members and so so so much more!
We can't say enough amazing things about Black Forest by Wedgewood and everything that they do to make weddings so special and magical for couples! -

Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings was the most amazing venue my husband and I could have asked for! They were so supportive, helpful, and responsive throughout the whole planning process. Anytime we had a question on anything, we got responses very quickly and they were fast on updating us with any changes. They were also very flexible with us making changes to our package to make our day exactly how we wanted it. We had the most stress-free wedding day due to how amazing our coordinator, Lindsey, was. She was constantly asking us if we needed anything and kept us filled on drinks. Once she left for the night, Monique was also great at making sure we were taken care of. The whole staff here made for such an amazing wedding planning experience and we are so grateful to them! -

Dream venue ! Amazing staff and awesome food!! Our wedding day was perfect from first booking to the big day !! Katrina, Kayla & Lindsey helped with every question we had. My vision was brought to life and I couldn't have done it without everyone one there! Nicole helped me with my bouquet moments before walking down the isle and helped me breathe. Our Banquet Captain Becca was there all night and worked her butt off. Fatima our server was always moving around and cleaning up and very helpful. Chef Frank put on an awesome fiesta buffet. Our Bartender Dave did amazing at making drinks and being kind to all our guests. DJ Tyler was a awesome from walking down the isle to playing all request and announcing every special moment. This venue is amazing!!!! We had the best experience with them. I honestly wish I had another event to plan so I could use them! :) I have to send HUGE shout outs to everyone I worked with during my pre-planning and the day of the wedding! Katrina - My planner was the best, such positive and contagious energy! Mo - My captain was amazing, very helpful! Dave - My bartender was the best, great drinks! Breanna - My server was so on top of things, excellent service! Frank - Our chef - I've heard so many compliments on the food! Nate (Nathenia P.)- My DJ, Played anything we wanted and super sweet! And the rest of the team Kayla and Lindsey was always available to help with any questions! I feel like I'm forgetting someone, but all you need to know is your in great hands with this team and I highly recommend Black Forest by Wedgewood weddings! The venue is beautiful, and they set up the wedding exactly the way I envisioned it. I cried when I see the beautiful reception room! I wouldn't change a thing for my event expect for mother nature's awful wind that day! They gave us a few unexpected surprises the day of the wedding, showing they really did care about our event!! It's a beautiful venue, excellent picture opportunities! -

HEY ! STOP WHAT YOUR DOING, AND BOOK YOUR VENUE WITH BLACK FOREST. I had an outstanding wedding view, and space was great. I was able to film my before and after TikTok videos and not only did we (my wife and I) had the wedding of our dreams, the coordinator KAYLA MAY was amazing. She was also our officiant which made our hearts dropped. she had our colors, checked on us often, kept a smile on our face every conversation, and her goal was to see us succeed. I never had a doubt during the whole planning , and we planned for the year 2022-2023. very affordable and THE CREW!!… danced and had a little fun and I was just as happy as they were when our night finally came to a end. MS KAYLA AND HER CREW WERE SUCH A BLESSING. Every single one of my guest wishes they can replay that night just one more time and my wife and I wish they same. KAYLA MAY ! YOU DID YOUR THING ! Absolutely loved working and being around you in general. I will most definitely keep in touch, because you and the crew are part of my sister hood 💪🏽🥹😊😍 -

I can't even think of enough good words to describe my husband and I's experience with Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings! We just got married on 12/17/22, and from the very beginning, we knew we chose the right venue. We had hands down the best, most fun, perfect, and nearly stress-free day. We were originally attracted to the "all-inclusive" aspect of this venue, and I'm so glad for that! This made choosing food, alcohol, DJ, cake, etc. SO easy because its all handled in-house/through Wedgewood. We toured just shy of two years out from our wedding, and even though I was planning things way ahead of schedule, our planner/coordinator Lindsay was always quick to answer my questions/emails. She was truly an absolute joy to work with - the nicest person I have ever met. She understood our vision and really helped it come to life! She set up everything for us and even moved our Christmas trees from the ceremony space to the reception. I knew I didn't have anything to worry about with her on our team! The food was amazing, and we loved the bridal fair we got to attend a couple months before our wedding - getting to taste the food in advance, meet in person all the preferred vendors, it was such a cool experience, and we really appreciated that. And of course, the place is beautiful! We were instantly drawn to the chandeliers, sparkly lights, and the incredibly forest for photo ops. Highly recommend adding the heat-less sparklers for gran entrance/exit - two of my favorite moments from our day! Overall, I can't recommend this place enough. It was a truly magical, wonderful, special, FUN day and so much of that was due to the staff at Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings! -

BEST venue ever
I cannot say enough good things about this venue and the people that all work here. I HATE planning things and quite frankly, an awful at it. Between Kayla and Lindsey, they made it SO easy. I literally felt like I was doing nothing. they made every vision I had, come to life. On our wedding day, I would not have changed a single thing. Everything went more smoothly than we could have ever imagined. The day-of timeline was followed perfectly. Kayla and Monique took incredible care of us all day and all night. They made sure we sat down and actually got to enjoy our dinner and dessert, they got our drinks all night and truly made everything feel too good to be true. I am so grateful. my mom is already planning my sister's wedding there and she JUST got her first boyfriend... haha to say we were blown away is an understatement and I wish we could do it all over again! Let's also add that the entire cost of our wedding here was as much as our very first floral quote we got when we first got engaged. -

This venue was absolutely amazing! Lindsey was the main person and she was awesome! She was really nice and funny and dealt with my anxiety perfectly. Miranda was our wedding captain, so she was in charge after Lindsey left about half way through the wedding and she was so kind and attentive and really sweet. Anything we needed she was on it! The food was fabulous! We also used their DJ and Nat was the bomb! In addition to that we used the photographer they are partnered with (Tina Joiner Photography) and Im obsessed with the pictures and Summer was a blast to have as a photographer. Lastly, they partner with Icing on the cake and the cake/cupcakes were delicious. This place is the perfect one stop shop for a stress free and gorgeous wedding. I have always dreamed of a forest wedding and they made my dreams come true. My day was memorable and a lot of it is thanks to the wedgewood team! -

I’ve been struggling to find the right words to describe the experience I received from Wedgewood; amazing, fantastic, magical, stress-free, beautiful… PERFECT! I’m sure you are wondering why and how come.
To start, my partner and I have never been married before so this was a new experience for us both. Wedgewood made it so simple; I did not have the stress of having to figure out which vendors to use or how they would work together or even what I should do each step of the way leading up to the wedding. Our search started in January for a venue and I found Wedgewood on-line and set up a meeting after looking around for options. During the first week of February, we had a meeting with Wedgewood and was sold. They have a beautiful location in the town over from us and the location has both a place for the ceremony and reception making that extremely convenient for our guests not having to find additional travel arrangements between the two places. Also, they have preferred vendors that already have established and successful relationships with that made piecing together all the details easy and stress-free. Even better, they provided a wedding planning booklet that showed what we needed to do, who we should reach out to and by when, as well as they, Kayla, Lindsey and Katrina, responded quickly to every email or call we made when we had questions. Most places nickel and dime you for each item but all the small incidentals were included, tables, napkins, etc. Things we don’t think about but add up in the end, the wedding team covered it all so nothing was missed! The vendors were marvelous as well. They were responsive and extremely professional all the way through the planning process. Sam from Prive, Yvette from Icing on the Cake, Nathenia P from DJ Maestro, and Summer from Tina Joiner Photography were all amazing and so professional! They dealt with last minute updates and special requests without hesitation and made us feel like it was no trouble at all! The only vendor that I felt could have communicated better with us was the Officiant from Amazing Colorado weddings. It seemed like it was hard to reach him and when he said he would share the draft of the service beforehand, he never did. He also lost our vows during the wedding but thankfully Katrina G saved the day and found them in his folder, where he kept all the documents for the ceremony) and got it to him just in time where we could still have our ceremony just the way we wanted. Katrina was NINJA status as we did not even notice her sneak in and get the officiant the papers. While that incident did occur, the Officiant did honor our requests for what we wanted our ceremony to be (sand unity ceremony and a romantic non-religious ceremony) and the ceremony itself and what he spoke was truly beautiful and really did capture our love and commitment to each other. Now, Katrina, our wedding coordinator, was Amazing the entire time from start to finish. She deserves a raise and bonus! She was the BEST!
Now, I bet you all are wondering how the day went overall? Hands down it was the best experience of our lives. All our guests were blown away by the beauty of the venue, the seemingly fluid and well put together event. They thought it must have been the most expensive wedding but it was affordable compared to what some other family members paid for theirs and the choppy and disorganized procession because of the pieced together venue/vendors and additions. Having Wedgewood and their preferred vendors allowed us to have a wedding where we didn’t have to think about anything but each other on our special day. When we arrived, we had champagne and snacks in our dressing rooms. Once the ceremony was done, they gave us appetizers from our cocktail hour already in our room so we could have snack before pictures. They waited on us like we were royalty! We felt like we were the only ones in the world that day and it was thanks to the Wedgewood team, Katrina G and Miranda, for making everything run as smoothly as it did. After the event, they had our items we brought, like the gift box, guest book, and signage already packed up and ready for us so we did not have to clean up. It was the best decision we made and they made it the best day we could hope for.
If anyone is wondering who to choose for their wedding, it should be Wedgewood.

An absolute dream!!
My husband and I had our wedding at the Black Forest venue on 11/27/22 and it was the most magical day. Wedgewood makes the planning process so easy and their staff is so friendly and accomodating. I was initially stressed about planning a wedding but every time I walked into this venue I felt so reassured that everything would be taken care of. Their team made it easy to just enjoy the process.
The wedding day was all I could have asked for and more, I felt like my vision was captured perfectly. My coordinator Katrina was so kind and made us feel so cared for. If there was an issue, I was blissfully unaware because she took care of it. Her support and genuine excitement for us made the day so special. For the reception our banquet captain Monique kept everything right on schedule and made sure everything was perfect. I felt so cared for by all the staff (David & Mike our bartenders, our server Miranda, and our kitchen staff Jon & Olivia). Our dance floor was so much fun thanks to our DJ tyler...seriously the best party of my life.
I would absolutely recommend this venue to any couple!! Wedgewood weddings sets the bar for the wedding industry. -

Oh, where do I begin?
If you want to create your most magical dream wedding and have no stress - choose Wedgewood Black Forest as your wedding venue!
We chose Wedgewood in January 2021 for our October 1, 2022, wedding with 100+ guests. Kayla was our amazing wedding coordinator and she made everything so simple for us. Every detail we asked for came with a "yes" answer. She had wonderful recommendations for us and she and the entire staff worked with all my ideas - no matter how "different" they were. In fact, we made a last-minute request for a late-night charcuterie board and the chef jumped in to make it happen - and it was spectacular! In fact all of the food was incredible! Our friends and family are all still talking about how it was the best food they'd ever had at an event or wedding.
The planning phase was simple, organized, thorough, and extremely professional. I'm very much a "Type-A" person, and this one one of the few times in my life I was able to sit back and trust that others would get it right - would see my vision and run with it. Wedgewood was super accommodating to the vendors I chose to bring in for ceremony music (string quartet), florist, pastry chef/wedding cake and groom's cake, marquee letters, favors, balloons, and other extra touches.
Day of - everything ran smoothly! Kayla and Mo were so kind, kept us updated and ready for the next part of the agenda...and kept us well-fed and hydrated! We only had one small hiccup during the reception (with availability of certain liquor we expected to have) - but Kayla went out of her way to make it right for us. I absolutely understand that things can happen, but it's how the team responds that makes the difference and the lasting impression. Kayla is exceptional!
I highly recommend the Elite package (it's definitely worth it!), the "grand sparkler moment" at the reception grand entrance, the tortellini, the s'mores bar, a late-night snack, Wedgewood's preferred photographer - Tina Joiner, their preferred DJ - DJ Maestro, and their photo-booth option - Untamed Smiles.
My favorite part of the process was Kayla's enthusiasm and excitement for our wedding. It made me feel so confident that I was making all the right choices...and that my ideas weren't too crazy (having a sketch artist for our guests, we "buried the bourbon" on the property a month in advance for good weather... and dug it up on our wedding day, etc.). She was all for it and I truly appreciated her excitement for our traditions and ideas.
Wedgewood is the Gold Standard in wedding venues! Without any hesitation, Highly Recommend! -

We were married 8/6/22 and I could not be happier with our decision to get married at Black Forest by Wedgewood. I submitted a request for an initial tour at night on a Friday, not expecting a reply until Monday. To my surprise I received a phone call about 20 minutes later. We had already toured several venues before looking here, and I'm so glad we kept looking! This site is stunning!
This absolute gem is nestled in the trees about 100 yards off the main road. This area of the forest was about a mile from the fire line, so all of the trees are undamaged. Inside is a beautiful grand entrance that lead to the indoor ceremony space one way, and the reception area the other. The bridal suite is just off the main hall and was spacious, with plenty of room to spread everything out, and an enormous mirror. The groom's suite is off the indoor ceremony area and has a foosball table. Lucky bastards! The building is shaped like an L, with the outdoor ceremony sight in the middle part. The gated off pool was a little odd (who goes swimming on their wedding day?), but found out it isn't really a pool, but a water retention feature for firefighting. It's both beautiful and a vital resource for our community.
Emily gave us a tour and an estimate with the various packages, but didn't pressure us to book right away. We were encouraged to talk about it and let them know. We were only told they tend to fill up fast, but that wasn't the major talking point. Afterward we weren't bombarded with messages pressuring us to book. Once we decided to use them we were given a binder with a very specific timeline to follow. It walked us through step by step so we were sure not to miss anything.
At every meeting we were given ample time to ask our question. Any time I emailed I heard back quickly. Every interaction we had with the staff was pleasant, and everyone was so knowledgeable. I'm pretty sure we got to interact with all of the coordinators, and every one of them was amazing. A month before the wedding we had a drastic change in plans, and they were able to guide me through my panic with calmness and compassion.
My only real concern going into the day was the food. We went to the trial dinner and were less than impressed. The chef must have just had an off night because the food the day of was so good! People are still talking about it 2 weeks later. When the DJ found out we were doing the brunch menu he got excited because it was his favorite one.
On the day of the ceremony we were so fortunate to have Lindsey as our coordinator. She is just the sweetest thing and was always there to answer any questions and get me anything I needed. She really went above and beyond to make me feel so special. She and Becca did such a good job setting up the space. All we had to do was drop everything off the day before, and they took care of the rest. Our DJ was Tyler and he handled all of our ridiculous requests with good humor. Our recessional was the Imperial March and our grand entrance was the theme song to The Muppet Show. He didn't even bat an eye when we asked for these. Aria was our chef and she is VERY good at her craft. I'm not a drinker, but heard Amanda the bartender was great as well. Abby was our server and she was so quick to help.
The only thing I would change is the florist. I had an outside florist for everything except the centerpieces, and I'm glad I did. With their florist you don't get to pick flowers, you pick a color palette and they select everything else. I asked to use my own vases and they wanted to upcharge me by a lot because they would need more flowers. I ran the price they wanted to charge by my other florist and she about had a stroke. The only thing they accommodated without trying to charge more was changing out the eucalyptus for rusk. I paid over $600 for 13 MASON JARS of flowers and a thin runner down the head table. Now, if I get my pictures back and realize I was way wrong I will come back and update this. But reading other reviews I see I'm not the only one who was disappointed. Otherwise, everything else was so well done.
I cannot stress enough how easy they made this. These are professionals and they CLEARLY know what they're doing. I never felt like I needed to tell them how to do their jobs, and I'm glad I didn't try. Every detail was perfect. Unless you are a professional event planner you will be wasting your time if you need to control every little thing. They've got this. Just sit back and enjoy your day!

My husband and I got married at this venue two weeks ago on July 2nd. We were engaged on April 2nd and started planning mid April. We were nervous and stressed about planning for a short engagement, but our coordinator Lindsey assured us that a 2.5 month engagement was very doable and was also genuinely excited for us! At that moment, we knew that we had found our venue. Lindsey helped us select the right package for our budget. She also helped us select the best meal and add-ons for our vision. Our personal favorites were the brunch buffet, donut wall and the coffee/cappuccino cart since we had a morning ceremony. I am not exaggerating when I say that we could not have pulled off this wedding without Lindsey's help. I work in accounting and event planning is my worst nightmare...LOL. Working with Lindsey at Wedgewood allowed me to be involved in all the fun aspects of wedding planning and leave the rest to the team! I also want to shout out our banquet captain Monique and our DJ Tyler. We were so impressed with every team member we worked with here. Would recommend Wedgewood Weddings to anyone who wants a quality wedding at a resonance price with very little stress. I actually enjoyed my season of engagement thanks to Wedgewood. Absolutely Amazing!!
My husband and I had our wedding at this venue and we loved it! Our coordinator, Emily, made the planning process so easy and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Wedgewood made the process feel so easy and stress free. They made sure everything, including decorations, was set up exactly how we wanted it. The night of our wedding, all of the employees made sure we were taken care, from drinks to food to packing everything up at the end of the night. They contacted and worked with our outside vendors (photographers and videographer) so well and made sure everyone was informed of the schedule for the day. Our experience with Wedgewood was amazing and they made our night absolutely perfect. We knew it would be the best night of our lives, but Wedgewood definitely exceeded our expectations. The Best Venue!
Black Forest by Wedgewood Weddings was the best venue for our wedding! We are so happy that we chose this place. Emily and Jackie were there the night of our wedding and they were so helpful! Most Amazing Venue, 15/10 recommend
If I could give this venue 10 stars, I absolutely would! Wedgewood was wonderful to work with, especially when our wedding had to be postponed because of Covid, they graciously let us move our date with no fuss, and because the venue handles the cake, flowers, catering, bar, and dj, we didn’t have to worry about coordinating all of our vendors to the new date, they took care of all of it for us! They also were wonderful with answering all of my emails and questions as it got closer to the ceremony!
The price was worth every single penny, other venues we would have had to spend more just to secure the venue and then you have to add on vendors but Wedgewood was wonderful about adding everything into the package, which was also extremely customizable and we were able to make it our own.
Honestly what we paid would have been fine for just the food alone, the food was by far the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding. Every single guest of ours commented on how great the appetizers and dinner were and we couldn’t get enough of the Mac and cheese croquettes!
Last but not least, Lindsey was the sweetest, most helpful, best event planner I could have asked for. She was wonderful leading up and then an absolutely rock star the day of! She always made sure we had drinks and were properly fed and having a good time. I was so impressed by how smoothly everything went under her care.
We have already recommended Wedgewood to all our engaged friends but I also recommend it to anyone looking for a venue, we had the fairytale wedding of our dreams thanks to them! -

My original venue cancelled on us roughly a month before we had to move to Texas. We had 1 weekend to find a new venue, so we looked at approximately 6 venues over the course of those 2 days. Wedgewood stood out among the rest in ways I cannot describe. It literally brought tears to my eyes as I took the tour. It was more than I could have hoped for. The staff was so helpful through the entire planning process. Planning a wedding from another state is stressful enough on its own. I would never have been able to pull this wedding off without the staff here. All I had to do was send them example photos of what I liked and dropped off my decor 2 days prior to my wedding and they did the rest. Let me start off by saying I am a Covid “bride”. My husband and myself chose Wedgewood Black Forest for our vow renewal back in 2019. We were forced to reschedule our event and pushed to 2021. We did have to wait until last minute to confirm if we were going to have our event. It wasn’t always easy, but Wedgewood staff held to CDC regulations and protected their employees and guests while still working as a business.
I personally worked with Lindsey and Kayla on day of and during the planning process. They were so responsive and helpful even to the silliest questions. They helped us plan the most beautiful event and exceeded all expectation. They made us all feel so welcome and as a bride they helped me feel confident and beautiful.
The servers, Gia, Katrina, and Beretta were attentive, so polite and did a phenomenal job. The food cooked by Chef Collin was outstanding, everyone raved about all the food served, it tasted fresh and was prepared perfectly.
Last and certainly not least, our DJ for the event Tyler. Super nice guy, easy to communicate with, really listened to the vibe we were going for and delivered it perfectly. He really brought the day full circle and we appreciate his attention to our wishes and who we are!
The only issue we had was when trying to communicate with the florist, while they are nice people, they have horrid response time making it far more stressful than needed. Kayla and Lindsey did have to step in and make sure our wishes were met.
All in all I would give them far more stars than available. They gave us a true day to remember and cherish. I thank your staff a million times over for the attention to detail and celebrating our love with us! Even through all the Covid issues, they handled it with such grace.

This place was absolutely perfect for my dream day! The second I walked into the venue I knew it was the one! The staff are wonderful, and honestly feel like family. They did their best to make everything stress free, and flow the best it could have been! There was a major blizzard on our day, and Murphy's law was hitting us hard. However, my wonderful coordination team was right there with me, I honestly had no idea some "problems" even existed. Wedgewood Weddings Black Forest is a truly beautiful venue that has so much possibility! The staff is amazing at walking you through all of the details and sharing the many options you have. They provide opportunities to see the venue hosting an actual event at their Wedding Faires throughout the year, which is incredibly helpful. We felt like the staff were truly invested in us as a couple and so appreciated how accommodating they were with every idea we had. I can't imagine going through this planning process anywhere else!!
On our big day, the staff were on top of every detail - we never had to worry about the behind-the-scenes because everything was taken care of before we even thought of it. The food was amazing and we got so many compliments on the meal and bar service! All of our guests had a phenomenal time and we can't wait to see our gorgeous photos! We would highly recommend this venue as a beautiful, stress-free, all-inclusive choice for your wedding or event.
