I ordered a shirt for my husband for our wedding from Weddingtropics and we were extremely pleased with the finished product. We had it tailored made to his measurements. We followed the instructions for measuring on their website and the shirt fit to perfection! I highly recommend them for their superior craftsmanship and the quick turnaround. Great Experience

For our Wedding In Kauai, I ordered a Verona Formal Style pant and a custom sized Colina relaxed fit embroidered shirt. I did all measurements but the factory questioned the size. The team quickly followed up to get sizing confirmation. It took a little back and forth but we got it figured out. Very helpful in answering questions while i was first exploring color options. And they are extremely responsive throughout the entire process. Thank you for helping make our day special

Beautiful, top notch products!

We did a little shopping around to make sure we found the absolute best quality product for our wedding. We purchased a shirt/pant/vest set from WeddingTropics, Island Importer and Cubavera. While everyone shipped pretty quickly, WeddingTropics easily blew the others out of the water with regard to quality and fit. Not that the runner ups was bad quality, just Wedding Tropics stuff was pretty hard to top. I hope I helped someone, it can be daunting trying to figure this stuff out for such an important day!

Very Good Service

Everything was very good with their service. They personally handled my order well, made adjustments as I requested and completed and shipped the order quickly. Unfortunately I made an error on one of the sizes of custom shirts. They were understanding and offered me a discount on my replacement order which was very fair. Overall the service was terrific the the quality of the product was great.

GREAT customer service!!! I was so stressed about finding the perfect shirt for my fiance for our upcoming wedding. I needed Ivory and the website only showed white. Keli was just amazing. She answered my email super fast and sent out the shirt that I needed that same day! I highly recommend this company. It is so nice to be treated so professionally. We had a very difficult time matching our unusual color choices. We came upon Wedding Tropics literally by accident, and found a huge selection of colors choices they offer for the embroidery colors. It was an idea we hadn’t realized before but found it very creative and were very happy we found them and were pleasantly surprised to find exactly what we were looking for. They were so accommodating and helpful. Every piece of clothing ordered was exactly what we expected and very good quality. My gown fit very nicely and I received many compliments on it. Just received my shirt and I am very pleased with the quality and the service I received. I searched extensively for tropical wedding clothing and nobody else had the style and quality I was looking for. These shirts are custom made with really nice details. The site is very clear that it takes weeks to make them. Since I was on a shorter timeline, I contacted them to see if they had anything in stock and Kevin was super helpful. I found the shirt I wanted in the stock embroidery color which I liked and ordered it. I received the shirt 2 days later and the fit is perfect and the shirt is exactly as shown and described on the site. I am going to order some pants as well and would definitely recommend them.

So I had the groom order shirts for the guys. He needed something to do, right?

The web site is impossible to navigate. We both are very tech savey and you simply can not pop in the mesurements and colors you need because the web site, basically sucks.

So the 1 child's shirt he ordered is 2 inches too short in the arms. Great! Looks totally dorky.....So we paid $70.00 for a shirt that does not fit and the sleaves will need to be rolled up or he will look stupid.

About the site:

*No one ever answers the phone at this company.

*No one is ever available for "on line chat" (Why they even say they offer this is baffling becsuse it makes them look bad as no one is ever available to chat. They shoulr remove it from the site, IMO.

I have a phone message and email out to them and will come back with an update.

I am praying that they are not going to say that the shirt is "custom". It was ordered as a "med" without specific measurements, AND THE EMBRODERY IS THE SDAME COLOR AS THE SHIRT, WHEW!! This which would make you think it is a simple stock shirt.

SEE BELOW FOR RETURN POLICY ON CUSTOM:

"Due to the fact that items are Custom Made specifically for you, we can not accept returns for any reason. . . . even if a standard size is choosen. . . . Custom made items are defined as, " *Custom embrodery in a color that does not match the color of the shirt fabric. *Special tailored sizing"

Nightmare experience

They have ruined my 1 thing that has set the theme for my wedding. We went with the embroidered Guayabera style shirt. Not only did it take 10 weeks to receive, when we finally did receive it the collar was incorrect. When I reached out to them they told me that the collar I chose was an older style and that I got the modernized style. Which by the way is completely different and changes the look of the shirt. They offered a 40% discount to order another one at my cost.
Once I expressed my frustrations and told them I wouldn't be ordering the 7 other outfits I needed the manager called me. I have never been spoken to by anyone the way he spoke to me. Not one ounce of sympathy from this man. Kevin I personally want to tell you that you single handedly ruined my inspiration for my wedding. Everything is centered around those shirts. A womans most meaningful day you had no problem with dampening it and for that I hope woman read this and stay away.

Completely messed up the order

I ordered matching pants and vests for me and my groomsmen two months, taking the time to get everyone's measurements to make sure we would all look sharp on the big day. I received an expected Shortly after placing the order I received an email saying that they were short handed and couldn't keep up with the volume of orders, but my clothes would arrive with plenty of time to spare (3 weeks prior to the wedding rather than 6 weeks as previously promised). I chalked it up to a busy wedding season and accepted that they will arrive on time and all is well.
Three weeks before the wedding I emailed them asking for an update as I hadn't heard anything, and they said they were still catching up, but the order will ship and I'll have it two weeks before. 1.5 weeks before the wedding I rang them asking for a shipping update, and was told that there was a mistake with their ordering and the fabric doesn't match, so they will have to send stock items rather than the personalized ones I had ordered. Now I am stuck making alterations to clothing with a week left before the wedding.

Disappointing!

So disappointed! The only option for kids was to choose a custom made shirt. The guayabera look is boxy but they made my kid's shirts tapered at the waist and flared at the hips. They look ridiculous and now I can't return.

The Shirt Was Bad But The Company That Stands Behind It Is Worse

I ordered a shirt for our wedding. To say the item was not as described is an understatement. While the rest of the shirt fit okay, the shoulders were apparently designed for an NFL linebacker. It looked as if my fiancé was wearing three layers of shoulder pads. I called WeddingTropics to return the shirt and let them know how disappointed I was. I called and called and called for weeks, left numerous voicemails, and no one from WeddingTropics responded. I also sent multiple emails, but all of my inquiries went unanswered. Finally, after several weeks had past, I received an auto generated email that did nothing to address the situation. I sent yet another email and finally received a response from Carrie that did nothing to address my concerns. All that she did was provide a link to the FAQ section and informed me of WeddingTropic’s absurd restocking fee. I told Carrie to have her manager give me a call. I received a call from the owner, Kevin who said that he would waive the restocking fee but told me I had to pay for shipping. I didn’t think that was fair, given the fact that the shirt wasn’t true to size, but I still had details of my wedding to plan and didn’t have time to argue. The next day I went to USPS and shipped the shirt back to WeddingTropics in a nice, clean cardboard box which was unlike how I received it; in a thin, flimsy bag that had a hole in it. Days went by after the shirt had been delivered and I still hadn’t heard anything nor had I received a refund so I called and left yet another message. Kevin finally called back and started screaming at my fiancé. He made wild accusations, erroneously stating that I had damaged the shirt prior to sending it back to him, no doubt trying to justify wanting to deduct $40 from the full refund I deserved. He said that the shirt was destroyed because it was wrinkled. To say that the shirt was destroyed because it was wrinkled is absurd. Apparently he thought I should have had the shirt pressed and dry cleaned in addition to paying a restocking fee as well as ship it back in a refrigerator box so there wouldn’t be a wrinkle on it and I could pay an absorbent amount in shipping charges. If WeddingTropics wants the shirt shipped in a bigger box, the least they can do is provide the container as well as cover the shipping and handling charges. I folded the shirt very neatly and put in a better container than it came in. It was a thick, clean USPS box that included tracking and USPS wouldn’t have shipped it if the shirt didn’t fit in the box. Kevin admitted he resells the shirts that he claims are new so he shouldn’t be charging customers to send back a return. Kevin went on and on, screaming at my fiancé like a lunatic and then hanging up the phone. Not willing to let that I stand, I contacted Kevin via email and told him that if he didn’t process a full refund as Kevin had promised, I would open a bank dispute. Kevin emailed back and was rude, insulting, and completely unprofessional. He again accused me of damaging the shirt because it was wrinkled and told me I should just accept the $75 he was offering me because he would win the bank dispute. I responded to Kevin’s email letting him know that not only would I win the bank dispute, but I would also contact the Better Business Bureau, Attorney General, and Consumer Affairs regarding his shoddy business practices if he didn’t provide the full refund I deserved. I also told Kevin not to contact me again unless it was about my refund. Fifteen minutes later I received a refund receipt via email. There was no note from WeddingTropics so I thought Kevin had come to his senses and finally done the right thing. Sadly, I was wrong. Shortly after receiving the refund email, I received both a text and email from Kevin, mocking me for wanting to contact the Better Business Bureau going as far as to tell me I should contact the FBI and CIA as well and making excuses for why his unprofessional behavior was ok. Kevin was rude, arrogant, and condescending. Why this man is in the customer service field is beyond me.

I have just read about the company closing for about 6 months in 2014. I had ordered a pair of linen paints, which I never received and I had been trying to received a refund. Those pants were for my husband for my daughter's wedding in June of 2014. I ordered the pants in April and never received them and never received the refund although they said the order was shipped via USPS, USPS only acknowledged that they informed them that they would be sending an item to be shipped, but they never received it. I would still like my $60.00 refund, it is a matter of principle. Please contact me. Since I have to provide a rating it is based on the previous management, it would not be fair to the new management company.

Ordered a shirt for wedding said guaranteed deliver by may 25th no shirt emailed waited a day and called said it would not be shipped until may29th asked if I could pay for extra shipping to make sure was here by June 1 said no it will be to me for sure June 1. Now it is June 4th and still no shirt to get married in. Shirt still in California per tracking number and post office. Was told after emailed and shirt was not to me. Do you have someone that can ship it to you in Mexico. We can give you back your money if you ship it back not opened. Very unhappy with the hole thing.

Horrible! Customer service is non-existent, half of my groomsmen did not receive their orders even though they promised they would by a certain date. No answer when I wrote and called asking for a refund/discount. Their website looks great, but they are poor busnessmen. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!

BEWARE< BEWARE< BEWARE!!!!! I wish I did more research before wasting my money with this company. I ordered 2- pants and 2-shirts for myself and son in April. I did not receive my order until mid JUNE and it was the incorrect order. I called, called and called, no answer. I sent email after email and no response or reply. I then received a call third week of June informing me to mail the wrong garments back and my correct order would be expediate by end of JUNE. I have not received anything to date. My wedding is next weekend and I had to go out and spend more money. I am soooo stress and heartbroken. I feel taken advantage of and conned. I ask for a refund but probably won't get one. After reading all these horrible stories I'm going to talk to an attorney and see if I can sue these folks. $300.00 plus gone.
