Erin Sent on 04/01/2018Annette did an amazing job officiating our wedding! She is knowledgeable about the process, including applying for a marriage license. She is funny, and was always available to answer our questions. Her prices are reasonable, and she is super flexible with the ceremony style.
We would definitely book Annette again if we had an opportunity! -

From our first meeting and on, she always made herself available for meetings, whether they be in person, on the phone, or video chat! She let us completely personalize the service and make it our very own, which was special to us! We didn't exactly know what we wanted, but she was there to help us every step of the way! I would absolutely recommend Annette to anyone searching for a wedding officiant!
Annette, we loved how you kept the ceremony our style, which is very carefree and full of love!! Thank you so, so much for everything and for a beautiful ceremony!!

Be sure to go over all details at rehearsal so that everyone (bride & groom AND bridal party) knows what's going on and will be confident of their role on wedding dayWeddingsbyAnnette's reply:

User2273082 Sent on 08/16/2015I must say that although I believe that Annette was flexible and within my budget, this was exactly the one thing that went wrong at my wedding. When we met she was very professional and seemed organized. She took all of our information, and ideas in mind when it came to our special day. Annette even said she was going to make programs for us to use at the ceremony- which was not done. Nothing went as planned. The room was hot, as we were nervous. As I met my groom at the altar, Annette did not advise anyone to sit down. Many of our guests were handicap, elderly, also pregnant and had difficulty standing. As the ceremony continued, she seemed disheveled. What irritated me most was that she continuously was rummaging through her paperwork looking for the next thing that she was supposed to say. The night prior I had advised her not to call us by our nick names, and I knew she was very outgoing which made me nervous although we are a very down to earth couple I requested to have all jokes removed keep it formal using our full names and one request was to keep the part if anyone opposed to the marriage. I noted that this was not done and confronted some of our friends. Our friends said that she was teaching them (almost as though they were in kindergarten. Many of our friends were in on this joke and I was very disappointed when this was what I was looking forward to most and it didn't happen. When we finished we had everything scheduled to be able to enjoy our cocktail hour which we were unable to do because she took more of her time, after a very long and hot ceremony to have us sit and watch our witnesses sign paperwork over and over and over again. Annette was very unprofessional and although approachable and flexible with budget I would not recommend her as I felt my marriage and my certificate thereafter was being held over my head like a treat for a dog.WeddingsbyAnnette's reply:
It was my honor and priviledge to officiate your dream wedding that you won from the Mansion. You were an absolutely stunning bride. It was a pleasure to meet your family as well. I am so happy that I was able to accomodate your ceremony @ 2 weeks prior to the actual ceremony. I never like to turn anyone away when they are in such a predicament as you were. When we met a few days after your ceremony on 7/25/15, you tipped me extra over the fee I orginally qouted you and both yourself and husband thanked/hugged me for a beautiful ceremony. .I wish you and your husband all the best in the years to come.
