    We loved working with Jared! He has a great personality and made everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I would recommend him to any bride!

    Jared is professional and fun-loving. He really took the time to understand our values, vision, and came along side us on our wedding. He created a relaxed and comfortable environment paralleled with excellent quality and service. Without a doubt, I would use his services again!

    The quality of photos produced by Wheelhouse Weddings is head and shoulders above any other photography group I've ever seen. I recently posted my wedding photos on facebook and everyone was commenting on the elegance, creativity, and overall beauty of all of my pictures. Jared and Christy are a true joy to work with and make it fun even for the wedding party members who aren't thrilled about having dozens of photos taken. There were a total of 20 in my wedding party and everyone loved them! However, if you are interested in Wheelhouse Weddings, I would encourage you to book early. As a result of the quality of pictures they produce, they are extremely popular and their schedules fill up quickly.

    I originally booked with Lotz Studios and Jared worked with them at the time. After I signed my contract with Lotz Studios, Jared and his partner split ways. I was not given the option of which photographer I would stay with. I dont know how the divided up their clients. So I had Jared and his sister Christy for our wedding. We had a few issues prior to our wedding with responsiveness to emails that were blamed on technical issues. Day of the wedding went perfect! They were great to work with and were professional. After the wedding is when it got bad. He promised us sneak peaks and we never received any! I did not receive my pictures until the week before Christmas and it was like pulling teeth to get my CD. He did not respond to emails, text messages or phone calls for over a month. When he did respond I heard all about how his personal life was falling apart nad other excuses as to why none of my photos were done including all of our engagement photos.When we did go to meet Jared for our CD he wasn't there and just left it with a friend to give us. On top of that when we got home not all of our pictures were even on the CD. Jared did finally bring me the CD to my house and I voiced all of my concerns with him at that point. He promised to work on it and make it up to me. We still needed to order our canvas that came with out package and we were making 2 photo books. Well needless to say I could not get him to respond to me after text messages, phone calls or emails. I only was able to get him to respond to me when I threatened to sue him if he did not order my canvas because it was something we had already paid for. As of right now I am still waiting for the invoice from him to prove he ordered my canvas. This is an unfortunate situation as I believe he does good work, I do have the proof of that but he is severely poor in the customer service department. I have been more stressed out after the wedding than planning the entire day. I would not recommend this company to any one! Just walk away!!

    I have previously reviewed this company on both weddingwire.com and the weddingchannel.com and magically the reviews (both negative) have disappeared. This is about as unprofessional as the service I received the entire time my husband and I were in contract with Jared from Wheelhouse Photography. We originally booked with Lotz Photography and had to contract with Jared because Mike was unavailable for our wedding date. The work we saw was impressive and our initial meeting was somewhat promising. We booked with Jared because of the well known reputation of Mike Lotz. Now the horrific experience began -after struggling to book our engagement session because of lack of communication (Jared proclaimed it was a result of"technology issues" ,etc... )we finally booked at a location. The actually shoot went fine and he promised to have us pictures by our engagement party a month later. I began contacting him several weeks prior the party asking about when I would receive my pictures - no response. No response from Jared by phone, by email, or by text. After threatening to terminate our contract magically Jared got in contact with us. He provided several (maybe 10) digital images the DAY before the party promising to have the rest within a week. BIG SURPRISE a week later nothing. No phone calls, emails, texts, or pictures. Again we began trying to contact Jared but this time the threatening to terminate didn't fix the issue. He never got in contact- months went by and finally I received a text back. He never provided a CD of the files or anything - he only gave me access to the digital files I had to download myself. Some of the pictures weren't even high enough quality to print in a shutterfly book! He blamed the lack of communication on technology issues, family issues, etc...etc... PROBABLY ALL LIES. We trusted him after he said he would make it up to us and ensured us the service from here on out would be better. Several months before the wedding we chec
