Simple, pleasant, and professional!

We were actually married almost a year ago, on August 13th, 2020, and I kept meaning to write a review! Julia was amazing to work with. We were not able to have our "big" wedding due to COVID (nor were we able to have an indoor court house wedding) but Julia made our outside "court house" wedding perfect! The ceremony was perfect along with the vows. Julia was even gracious enough to hold the phone so my grandmother could hear the ceremony more clearly, as she was not able to attend. Our ceremony took place right outside the Independence Court House; immediately after we were able to go and get our marriage license!

Pastor julia is amazing!

Pastor Julia was very fluid, she gave options asked questions and developed her ceremony to fit our needs. She is funny, helpful and really help our(my) jitters.

I am so happy that we chose her to officiate our wedding.

Julia did an amazing job officiating our wedding. She was always available to chat or meet. She helped so much on the day of coordinating with our DJ for our live stream ceremony. Julia did a great job performing our wedding ceremony. She was on time and very professional. We had requested a short and simple ceremony and Julia abided by our wishes while still making the ceremony special. Fantastic!

We had to push our wedding and reception a full year - but still wanted to get legally married on our original date. We were superbly lucky that Julia was open on our date and available at short notice. The entire process was very easy and straight forward, with Julia being extremely flexible with location and timing of the event. We knew that we wanted to have a quick 5-10 minute ceremony., and we used her standard script and written vows. It was tasteful and well done, and our mothers even commented on how nice it was afterwards.
Thank you Julia, for making our wedding happen even in these crazy times!

We could not have made a better choice!

Julia was great! My initial contact was through text and she responded quickly answering all my questions clearly. We then talked on the phone about how I wanted the ceremony to go and she provided me with the tools to make sure that could happen. Julia even helped me find a photographer! The ceremony went off withot a hitch! Best Day Ever! Thank you Julia!

They made getting married much less stressful.

We had to change our date and time last min, and they where able to meet us where we wanted to get married at. We where new in Missouri so She was able to suggest several places. One of them fit is quite well. A outdoor area at a park with a cave and all kinds of green plant life and a small creek. It only cost us $75 so they could meet us at our location. She read the best ceremony I think I ever heard, since we didn't write our own vows. It was one of the best not the old copy past one you here. Had my husband and I in tears. I haven't seen I'm cry any other time. Very kind and helpful couple. Professional and importantly legitimately recognized in the state of Missouri to marry you.

5 years ago Julia and Keith officiated our marriage. They are so near and dear to our hearts. They juggled a crazy military schedule to fit us in on a Saturday with the county courthouse. Treated us like family. If you’re looking for the best, contact the Shoemake’s!

This is a trustworthy Officiant that is knowledgeable about venue and has wonderful creative ideas. My service was small and they went far and beyond to make it feel like the most magical day of my life. In a small military town were their are limited officiant, these guys stand alone in professionalism!

Our son and daughter in law got married over his 96 hour liberty during the July 4th weekend. Keith and Julia were very helpful through the whole process and made sure everything was in order before their big day. Keith did a wonderful job on the big day his words for the ceremony were perfect. My son and daughter in law were very nervous and antsy Keith kept made them feel at ease and played off their laughter. We could not have asked for a better wedding day for Gunnar and Kaitlyn. We highly recommend Keith and Julia for your wedding needs.

Leonard and Julia were awesome! Julia helped keep the bride calm and was great at directing traffic and Leonard kept me distracted while all of the was going on. They were an awesome pair and our wedding turned out perfect thanks to them!! Well worth it we even gave them a nice tip on top of their small fee. I would recommend them to anyone getting married in the Missouri area!

Keith and Julia were great!! I called around 8pm and Julia answered, which I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone pick up right away. They were available yesterday day that we wanted with less than 2 weeks notice. Julia send me a list of locations in the area to have our ceremony. We had a beautiful, intimate and quite ceremony at Mothers Park. Keith's choice of words and vow was perfect. I couldn't have pick a better officiant. Thank you Keith and Julia for everything!!!

Julia and Keith were fantastic to work with! They provided us with a great framework for the ceremony but then allowed us to personalize it to fit our needs. We called literally last minute and Julia was able to fit us in on the same day. We had just a small service no longer than 10 minutes (short, sweet and simple) but it was great. She was so kind! We could not have chosen anyone better to marry us.

My husband Scott and I planned our wedding from Alaska but Julia was great a long with her husband and made things easy even going out of their way to help fix my cake disaster before I saw it. We definitely recommend them for their outstanding service.

Julia performed our ceremony. She is kind and passionate about what she does. She was personable, funny, and easy to reach. Her sermon at the wedding was short, concise and sweet. It was a modern take on an old tradition. Though I believe she has a similar script for all weddings, it still felt personable and tailored to my husband and me. In fact, a number of our guests have commented on her sermon and how much they liked it.

She did have issues getting my first name and my husband’s last name pronounced correctly despite them being fairly normal names. The congregation laughed and corrected her in unison, she quickly recovered and it was a moment we will all remember. Following the wedding she apologized and did seem genuinely upset about the mix up. My husband and I were appreciative of her concern and really it didn’t bother us. It made for a funny anecdote with our guests.

Name mess up and all I would not trade Julia for another officiate. She did a great job and I would recommend her to anyone.

Julia was incredible from the very beginning. She got back with me immediately and was very flexible with scheduling time and location. We had decided to get married earlier than planned and she was able to accommodate with less than a weeks notice. Simple service. She happily took pictures after even though this hadn't been discussed prior to the wedding.

I am just absolutely speechless, Keith and Julia were recommended to me by several people. Julia was fabulous on helping me find a location and Keith, who performed the ceremony was wonderful (he even told my husband since we got married on Valentine's Day I get two gifts ;)) the day went smoothly and it was the most perfect day any bride could ask for. The amount of pictures we got I can't even tell you captured every moment, every facial expression you would want for your photo album. I would definitely recommend them- thank you for making our day so special.

Julia and Keith were so understanding of our situation with my husband being in the Navy. Dates kept changing and weather wasn't working in our favor. Within a couple hours, we had a beautiful place to hold an intimate ceremony with our family. They were so accommodating and helpful. Both Julia n Keith were wonderful... Super easy to work with gave ideas seeing a DIY wedding was harder than I imagined. But bigger we decided to get married on my in-laws wld of been 45 yrs anniversary, Dad passed away 17 months prior. Ww used same knife to cut the cake as his parents did all those yes ago but to mk it more special Julia wrote about his loving parents into our vows n ceremony. They made it Perfect!!!! I can never repay these two beautiful people for their love n compassion. If you ttruly want a beautiful priceless day thats personal , intimate and full of love book your wedding today with Keith n Julia.

I could not believe how amazing Julia and Keith were. They went above and beyond to make our day special, we kept having issues come up over and over, and Julia and Keith made it special anyways, in every way possible. They came out to marry my soldier and I with a days notice. Very friendly and gave us a wonderful ceremony. The vows Julia read were wonderful and made me start crying during the ceremony. Would recommend to anyone in the area wanting to get married!

Julia Shoemake was the organizer/officiant of our wedding at Ha Ha Tonka State Park.

I cannot say enough wonderful things on her behalf. Our day started quite frazzled and disorganized (as is often the case on wedding days), and she made all the difference. The ceremony was perfectly done, and Julia took the time to make sure that everything was as it should be. I am so glad that she composed our ceremony, and that we were lucky enough to have her there.

I highly highly recommend her.

We had a few unexpected events come up on our vacation before the wedding date that Julia was able to work around for us. She always very helpful and thorough with her research. The wedding was absolutely beautiful and everything she had setup was exactly what we expected and beyond our expectations. I recommend her to everyone!

While planning a wedding in another state was very challenging, Julia and Keith were fantastic to work with. Julia went out of her way to keep me updated on the weather since we were trying to have the ceremony outside and even offered us another option. Even though the weather did not cooperate on the day of the wedding, we were able to pull off a small wedding and reception for our son and daughter-in-law. Our thanks to you both for a beautiful ceremony.

Julia was great!!! Accommodated our schedule, even after I had to cancel, with a later ceremony on her own accord. I would recommend her anyone needing the services of an officiant. I am thankful she was recommended to us by other customers.

My husband and I are very fortunate to have met Julia and Keith and for Julia to be our officiant on our wedding day. I live in Seattle while my husband is in Fort Leonard Wood for CBOLC and after that he will be stationed over seas so we wanted to have a quick ceremony before he leaves (we’re planning to have a religious ceremony next year with family and close friends). Julia and Keith were able to scout places where we could have our wedding ceremony and they sent pictures through email. They found a neat spot on base and we knew it would be a convenient and perfect spot for us. Julia offered me a bouquet of flowers to choose from, which I thought was very kind (and she even let me keep it after the ceremony). The ceremony was perfect and Julia walked us through it as smoothly as possible and Keith was capturing the moment with his camera. They really did an amazing job with keeping things stress free for my husband and me. No words can describe how happy we were that we went to Julia and Keith to make our special day the best that it could be.

Wedding on Wheels did a superb job! I contacted Julia at 530am and she officiated my wedding the SAME DAY! She is very proffesional and works with clients on every aspect of the ceremony! I would reccomend this company and service to everyone!

I found Weddings On Wheels of Missouri through a Google search. My husband(now) is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and we decided to get married. I was flying in from Arizona, only for the weekend of his graduation and I was panicked I wouldn’t be able to pull this off. Julia helped me the whole time, I must have emailed her 3 times a week asking the same questions making sure we were all set and each time she was there to assure me and calm me down. I only gave her about a 3 week notice we were wanting to get married. We also were about an hour late to meeting her, you know how the army could be, and she waited there for us with no complaints and even bought me flowers!!! I wouldn’t have done it any other way and I am so thankful I found them.

Prompt and easy understanding of where to go and what to do. Responsive at every question. Personal touch that officiant took several photos for the family. The heat was almost unbearable, but took the time for the ceremony. Made couple feel even more at ease. Thank you!!

They were really patient. we showed up about 45 minutes late, but they were still outside waiting for us with smiles to greet us. They took dozens of pictures of us, in different places and very much seemed to enjoy doing it. The vows she wrote were beautiful and we had an overall great experience with them. Great people, I'll always remember them and I'm happy they were the ones to sign our marriage certificate.
