Don was very pleasant and personable and was very accommodating.

Don was very professional and accommodating. Our original official wasn’t able to officiate. With one day notice Don was able to accommodate us, take care of last minute items and was very helpful in helping organize the ceremony in the middle of the pandemic. We recommend Don if you are in need of an Officiator for your special day. Thank you Don!

Don is the Officiant Extraordinaire

Don is a life saver! About a week before my wedding I lost my officiant, and being an out-of-town bride, it was a bit stressful. However, my friend quickly found Don and not only was he available but he was able to seamlessly stepped in and was instantly an incredible addition to our wedding! He thoughtfully crafted our ceremony (even better than our former officiant) and had such a great personality - I just couldn't have been happier! He was such a professional and so fun. I couldn't have imagined my wedding any other way and we are so blessed to have found Don.

Don was amazing. Once we met with him the first time we knew he would be our officiant. He made our rehearsal day and wedding day go wonderful smooth. He immediately replied to every email we sent without delay. A great human being, we are so glad we chose him.

We were provided with a wonderful wedding service. They were very flexible with times and were very professional. I absolutely loved the service that Don provided and would highly recommend his services. Don has a great sense of humor and made my wife and I very comfortable. What an absolutely great man.

Don was great and provided exactly what my wife and I were looking for. We wanted to be married on New Year's Eve...Don was able to way happy to help and did a civil ceremony at his home. Extremely friend and comfortable once we met in person. Was able to do ceremony on more or less 3 day notice. Contacted mostly through email/text. Even took a few pictures which neither my wife or I thought of. We wanted a quick wedding on the date we wanted and worked around our schedule. I'd highly recommend his services to anyone. Was great & easy to work with! He was willing to do whatever type of ceremony we wanted (I chose a standard Christian religion ceremony). He told us what all we needed to get or have ready for him to be able to do the ceremony for us, answered all of my questions quickly & was just a overall kind and generous person. Was very personable and was able to joke around when the timing was right. Very professional and very easy to work with! The pricing wasn't bad at all either which was awesome! I definitely advise using him for your wedding ceremony! All we had to do was get our marriage license (took maybe 10 minutes; if even that) and then gave him the time, place & date! Thank you again for your services at our wedding, my husband & I greatly appreciate it!

Don did an amazing job!!!!!!! We were so thoroughly pleased with his service. We communicated mostly through email and text, due to my schedule and location. Even though we didn't meet until just before the wedding, I felt very comfortable as soon as we met! He was very professional and kind. He followed our instructions to a tee, and also added of little personal flare, which I greatly appreciated! The entire experience was great, and I would highly recommend him.

Don married us September 2015. He married us with only one months notice. Don was professional and responded quickly to my emails. He provided a beautiful ceremony and showed up early to the venue.

Don was such a wonderful officiant for our wedding. We moved our wedding up and he was booked a month out from the wedding date. We met and discussed a general skeleton for the type of service we wanted. We then sent emails back and forth customizing the ceremony to our exact wants and needs. He arrived at the wedding venue on time and guided us through the ceremony with ease. Would recommend to friends and family.

Don did a fantastic job for us with our wedding and was incredibly professional, courteous, insightful and reassuring throughout the entire process. He was there to answer all of our questions and provide the needed guidance while still listening to and incorporating our needs and desires. Don was wonderful! He has such a wonderful spirit, is professional, and was open to adding whatever we asked for to the wedding ceremony. Don is very professional and was understanding of our wishes for our wedding. He made us feel comfortable throughout the entire ceremony and was able to provide an excellent service that everyone enjoyed. My family and friends loved the way he put our ceremony together and had it be about us without any religious factors. We located Rev LeVetter on WeddingWire, after reading other reviews. We had some general ideas as to what we were looking for regarding our ceremony. At our first meeting, Don asked many questions about us, our relationship, our families, and our general outlook on life. We were not writing our vows, and asked if he could provide an outline of a service he thought would be appropriate for us, after our discussion. Don sent the outline of the service via e-mail to allow us to review and make comments. After my wife and I read the service, we looked at each other and said it was perfect. We made a few small changes to include reference to family members that could not be with us on our wedding day. Other than that, he provided us with a ceremony that we felt fit us perfectly. This was a huge weight off our shoulders. We met with Don a final time to complete the formalities, and requested an informal rehearsal with the primary family members. He was very patient with our family and provided some tips to help fine tune the ceremony itself. On our wedding day, he was prompt and patient, as we started a little late. Everything went smoothly, and afterword many people commented on the beautiful ceremony and how well it fit my wife and I. Don made the planning of our wedding ceremony a pleasant and comforting process. He helped us to state in the ceremony the love we felt for each other, and join us together forever as husband and wife. Many thanks Don.

I live in a different city than the wedding venue. I was worried about finding an officient in a different city that would match the style wedding I wanted. I found Don online and set up a meeting. He seemed a little disorganized the first time we met but I liked his personality and easy going attitude (important for me because our wedding was not traditional).

Our wedding was wonderful thanks to Don. He stayed in contact via phone calls, text and email. Don sent us a preview of the ceremony before hand with our vows and my husband and I loved it so much we had no changes. The wedding was held at Pima Air and Space Museum with men as "brides maids" and we had a traditional German Nierenberg wedding cup instead of the candle or sand ceremony at the end of the wedding. Don had no problems with this slightly unusual wedding and gave us the heartfelt non religious wedding we wanted. He even did research on the wedding cup and spoke about the tradition at the wedding. We had no problems with Don and he gave us everything we were asking for. I would recommend him and use him again.

We had to find an officiant on short notice and Don made himself available. We had a very simple wedding planned, but Don really provided the main portion of the ceremony with preferred non-denominational text which was lovely. We also planned to have him read letters we had written to each other. Don was kind, but somewhat insistent that we read them ourselves. With humor, he encouraged/pushed us to do so. It made all the difference in our event.
We really appreciated Don's immediate response to communication. He was great to work with, punctual, professional, and made our ceremony one to remember.

Don was our officiant for both our wedding on 4/19/2008 and our renewal of vows on 7/21/2013. He was nothing short of amazing for both events. Our wedding was very small and we rode in on horseback for the ceremony. Don rode to the event on his motorcycle, which we loved so much (it fit perfectly with our western/modern cowboy theme.) Don was extremely flexible with all the changes we made and was always ready to roll with the punches for us. My husband was in the Army at the time and picking an exact date was a bit tricky - Don had no issues with us picking a dating only a few weeks out. He also has great respect for military members and provided our renewal ceremony free of charge. Our renewal ceremony was also low-key and last-minute. We basically let Don decide what to do, and he certainly did not disappoint. His words were beautiful, and his demeanor friendly as always. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to have him serve as officiant. He really is the nicest guy, but he's also very professional and truly understands the beauty of marriage. I would recommend him to anybody in this area.

Don gave us so much more than what we were expecting! He tied in very personal and professional ideas into our ceremony based off of a mutual profession my husband and I share as Marines. He was very adamant and flexible about giving us exactly what we were looking and more.

We had excellent communication with Rev. LaVetter. The ceremony was very touching, Rev. LaVetter was very professional, and our day could not have been more special. Don LaVetter is a great officiant. If you are looking for a non-denominational, open-minded officiant, Don’s your guy. Or, if you are looking for a more traditonal ceremony, Don's your guy too. We are not very religious, nor spiritual, and Don made it easy for us to be ourselves and have the ceremony that we wanted. His website is extremely comprehensive and helpful; there are so many great ideas for all different types of ceremonies. He met with me a few days before the wedding just to finalize the details, and everything went smoothly from there. He let us change the ceremony wording to suit us, and even practiced saying our names so he would get it right. He’s up front and honest about everything. He even suggested he not attend the rehearsal (which saved us some dough) because he was very familiar with my venue and wedding coordinator and knew that everyone would be on the same page. The ceremony went off without a hitch! You won’t be disappointed. Also, you can’t beat his cost!

We stumbled upon Don's website while trying to figure out who could perform our outdoor ceremony in Tucson (we're currently living in the midwest). His description of himself and why he is an officiant just clicked so we gave him a call. Don's a great guy and put together a lovely personalized ceremony that included the things that were important to us. He was also willing to travel up the mountain to perform our ceremony at a lovely area. Quite impressed.

I have to say that choosing an officiant for a destination wedding is difficult, but we definitely made the right choice. Don was always quick to reply to texts and professional in our communication. He provided a wonderful ceremony for us, we wanted a traditional Christian ceremony and he performed the service flawlessly. Everyone thought it was a beautiful ceremony and Don made it so special for us. Thank you, Don!

Don was great! We were coordinating our wedding from afar, but he made it easy to communicate and get things done efficiently. He even Skyped with us to get to know us better before we were able to meet in person. He was also very flexible, from meeting times to the wording of the ceremony itself. He provided us with a script, and we were able to insert readings or prayers where needed and change up the wording a bit as well if we wanted to. He was also excellent about punctuality for both meetings as well as emails! Highly recommend for a non-denominational officiant in Tucson.

Don was great! You could tell he was excited as we were to make our day special, easy to work with via email & phone since this was a destination wedding and was BY FAR the best quote we received to perform a simple, civil ceremony. He easily tailored the ceremony wording to something more fitting to us. You can tell he enjoys performing weddings- nice to see someone who likes their job! HIGHLY recommend!

We got exactly what we wanted from an Elope ceremony. It was quick and convenient and his hours were flexible which was very beneficial to our schedules.
