My fiancé and I have been in a relationship for over 6 years, having lived together most of these years. With our ages in the latter 50's and past marriages, we desired to exchange our vows in an "elopement style". He found Valise, a notary and a wedding officiant that was just minutes from our home in Chapel Hill. We had a tight schedule and she was very flexible, courteous and professional when my fiance called to set up a date and time latter that week. She explained everything we needed to bring and arrived to her place of residence on Saturday evening, a week prior to Christmas. We are very pleased and appreciative of Valise Jackson's friendly, personable and professionalism. She officiated our ceremony in her romantic, cozy and festive living area in her home. The lighting was low and cozy. We definitely recommend her to anyone wanting a traditional wedding or just "wants to say I do". Her pricing and services were excellent!

She’s amazing!
I LOVED her! Such a cute little house and lady. She was so sweet and welcoming. Her house was adorable! Made us all feel so special that night! Me and my sister decided to marry our now husbands the same night and she was very flexible with us and our timing. Just overall amazing experience, I definitely recommend!!!! -

Ms. Jackson made our wedding day spectacular! We were married on September 26, 2021. The ceremony was very meaningful and better than we could ever have imagined. Our guest were all feeling the emotions of Love, Joy, Romance and all the unexpected sentiment! We really loved her work. She's a special officiant. Valise is very professional and nice. Our civil service went smoothly and quickly. She engaged in brief, pleasant conversation before the ceremony, performed it in a fun manner... and reminded us to look at each other, not her, during our vows! :) I'll recommend her to anyone in the future should the question arise. Our wedding was all we dreamed of thanks to Valise. She responds immediately to questions, and wrote wonderful personalized vows for us. She came to our home and gave us the small family wedding, including our dogs, exactly as we wanted My dogs just loved her. I highly recommend Valise for your special day! -

My fiance and I struggled with finding an officiant who would do the ceremony we wanted (nonreligious) but legal in the annoyingly strict requirements of Tennessee. Valise came through wonderfully! She offered suggestions and actually allowed me to be the Type A personality I am and wrote my own ceremony that she performed/orated beautiful. We did a handfasting ceremony with personalized vows and a rehearsal the night before. But nothing compares to her absolute kindness and how wonderful of a person she truly is! -

Valise was tremendous! After forgetting to book an officiant until the last moment (couple of weeks) we weren’t even sure we’d have any options. Although we didn’t get started until nearly 45 minutes after our start time (someone important was late, you can guess who), Valise was gracious and helped us get everything perfectly in place. She was very friendly and calming, and did everything to make sure we were legally married. She also laughed at one of the jokes in my personal vows and that immediately reassured me that what I wrote was good!
