Terry did a fabulous job with getting to know us in a very short amount of time. She handled the fact that the wedding had to move inside during the day and did a great job with our vows. -

Terry was amazing from our first conversation to the day of the ceremony and flexible when needed. She was so helpful with explaining the process of getting a marriage license and could answer any questions we had. She truly felt like a member of the family during the ceremony to where many guests assumed she was related. We would recommend her to anyone. Thanks again!!! - Anthony & Tayler -

Lewis is for Lovers!
We decided to elope on our vacation and found Terri in the local listings. We were so happy that she was able to help us on such short notice and with very little planning! She was flexible when we made changes and was helpful in her responses to questions. She even took some photos for us! We were very lucky to have found Terri and are so happy she will always be a part of our memories of that special day! -

Highly recommend!!
Terry was absolutely fantastic. We met in advance to discuss ceremony preferences and I ended up talking to her for hours! She is very outgoing and friendly. She wanted to know about our life and how we met. She took the time to personalize the ceremony to us as a couple. And I loved it and her! -

Terry met with us twice prior to the wedding and we loved her from the first moment we met her! She went out of her way to make our special day perfect for us!
She even helped pose a few fantastic photos and just gave us so many laughs and great memories!
I could see an everlasting friendship bloom out of her love, kindness and beautiful personality!
I would highly recommend Terry to anyone who needs a wedding officiant! You will not be disappointed! -

Terry and her husband were amazing! They were flexible with time and date for us to get married. They made the whole process seamless and really made our small at home wedding even more special by providing marriage advice, showing us how to fill out paperwork and had such kind words for our ceremony. Best officiant ever!
Terry Was an absolute pleasure to work with. She made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. She was such a sweetheart and went above and beyond to help us find a perfect ceremony site on such short notice. She was excellent with communication and granted all of our requests. Amazing wedding experience!
Terry was extremely responsive, and available for a last minute wedding ceremony! She wrote our vows, and they were both intimate and beautiful. She came prepared, and made the paperwork and process very easy for us. We have kept in contact after the ceremony, and she even sent us a gift for our new baby! I would definitely recommend Terry to anyone looking for an amazing wedding experience and terrific officiant!Weddings By Terry's reply:

Terry is an incredibly kind woman. It’s clear she is moved by other peoples’ love stories and finds them relatable to her own. We love that she was excited for us and we were complimented numerous times by guests over the flow of our ceremony. We don’t tend to leave negative reviews but it’s important for us to be transparent and authentic so future brides and grooms can make informed decisions surrounding their big day. Terry disappointed us in that she did not follow the script that we wrote out and added a lot about herself and her own marriage which we didn’t ask for. We are a relatively chill couple: we knew going into our wedding day that not EVERYTHING would go as planned. We were ready to not take anything too seriously OR personally; however, we do think it’s frustrating and upsetting that the group vow we had emphasized as being important was left out of what Terry read out loud. This is one of few mess ups that warrants a complaint. We believe everything happens for a reason so we leave this review without hate in our heart. In fact, we are choosing to believe perhaps there were people present in our audience not authentic enough to have taken that vow to us. However, our ceremony, and our vows, are deeply important to us. That was why we were all there, the most important part of the day, and the only thing I genuinely wish we could redo because that sucked. In transparency, the screw up left a bad taste in our (the bride’s) mouth after our ceremony — we had to very quickly adjust our attitudes while we were doing pictures and returning to the cocktail hour because we didn’t want to focus on (a pretty big) negative during the biggest day of my life. We are thankful we were able to. We are overall choosing not to laser focus on that missing piece of the ceremony but with its level of importance, a review felt warranted. We would not recommend hiring her if you want your script read word for word like we did. We thought we made that clear.Weddings By Terry's reply:
