Working with Scott and Dana was one of the highlights of our entire wedding experience, hands down. From the first phone call, we recognized that not only were they incredibly professional and would produce the highest quality work, but they were also just FUN and interesting people to work with! Their love for each other and for their profession is palpable, which makes working with them such a rewarding and fulfilling experience. You spend a LOT of time with your photographers on your wedding day, more so than you realize, and we felt SO lucky to have Scott and Dana by our sides. They helped to keep everything on track, calmed us down when we got nervous, and reminded us to stay present during an incredibly busy day. From the informational booklet they sent us when we booked them, to our engagement photo shoot, to the wedding day timeline they helped create, to the continued communication post-wedding, we truly could not have asked for a better pair of photographers or a better experience. You can stop searching now because you’ve already come across the best of the best! Seriously, take this one off the wedding to-do list and book Scott and Dana today! -

When I saw Scott & Dana's work during the middle of covid, I KNEW I had to have them for my wedding. From the entertaining and memorable engagement shoot at Sutro Baths to our wedding, Scott & Dana completely captures your day from start to finish. They provide sneak peeks within 24 hours after your shoot. I did not get a videographer as I really wanted the photographers I chose to tell a story with my pictures. Just from the sneak peak I saw from the wedding, I CANNOT WAIT to see the Carter Book of love from Scott & Dana. Thank you both for capturing our day so perfectly. I am constantly looking at our pictures and get emotional every time. We appreciate you both so much!

This is a long overdue review of the magic that is Scott and Dana. If you do one thing right in your planning, you will book them for your wedding photography. Every step of working with them, from our first email exchanges to our never-ending questions, texts, etc., was incredibly thoughtful and seamless. When it came time for our big day, they made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. And it made everything so much fun! Scott and Dana are the kind of caring and supportive people you want by your side on the biggest day of your life. Not to mention our wedding photos that turned out better than we could have ever imagined. We will cherish these timeless, magical, stunning photo memories and works of art forever. -

If you are looking for a wedding photographer look no further. Scott and Dana are truly the best!!! My husband and I are not great at getting our photos taken, we tend to be awkward, but Scott and Dana take all the pressure off and make it fun. They not only take the most breathtaking photos, and capture those candid moments you will want to cherish forever, but they are overall awesome people to be around. Now that are wedding is over, we are so sad we don't have that day to be able to hangout with them. We are so lucky that we found Scott and Dana and got to work with them for our special day. They know how to get the photos that show the love between a couple, the bond of the families, and the joy and laughter that a wedding has. We are so impressed with the photos we have seen, and how they completely understand us, our family, our friends and what we were looking for the memories we will have forever. Scott and Dana, there are not enough words in the dictionary to tell you how thankful we are, we appreciate you two so much!!!! -

Where do I begin… from the moment we met Scott and Dana for our engagement shoot, we knew we made an amazing choice to have them as our wedding photographers - but we didn’t fully understand the positive impact they would make on our big day. We were initially drawn to Scott and Dana’s beautiful, dreamy photography style. But as we learned during our engagement shoot and even moreso on our wedding day, in addition to their incredible talent, they are also two of the most kind-hearted, genuine, and lovely people we have ever met. From the beginning to end of the wedding day, Scott and Dana made the entire process so enjoyable and FUN - as a wedding day should be. They were punctual, amazing with communicating with us and kept us on schedule without us ever feeling rushed. Even during the more nerve-wracking moments like the minutes leading up to our first look, Dana made me feel so calm and put my mind at ease. Throughout the day, they would remind us to just remember to take in all of the little moments and be truly present - something that can be difficult to do on your wedding day. We truly felt like Scott and Dana not only did an incredible job as photographers, but that they truly shared in our joy and happiness and were genuinely happy to be a part of the celebrations. We feel beyond grateful for the amazing impact they had on our wedding day and would recommend them 10000 times over! Thank you Scott and Dana!!! -

Scott & Dana are fabulous! They truly made my husband and I feel so comfortable from the start of our wedding festivities. From our adventurous engagement shoot, to our wedding day, we have enjoyed this dynamic husband/wife duo! When it comes to choosing the perfect wedding photographer, you should absolutely consider Scott & Dana. They will surpass all expectations you may have and then some. My husband and I are so happy and in love with our engagement and wedding galleries, it will truly be cherished for our lifetime. We thank Scott & Dana for all they did for us during the pandemic and the craziness of planning a wedding during this unknown time- their positivity and kindness got us through to the end! There are not enough words to describe how amazingly wonderful Scott & Dana are. As photographers and as people. They are not only THE BEST photographers with the most beautiful work, but they are such a helpful support system throughout the wedding process. They supply their clients with all of the information needed to have a seamless day, and they make you feel extremely comfortable while having your picture taken. Even though their main focus is capturing your wedding day, Scott and Dana can do it ALL. They ensure your timing is flowing properly, make adjustments to better your lighting and/or the location, and can even help safety pin your dress when you find an alteration that wasn’t finished (speaking from experience)! Bottom line is, you won’t regret having Scott and Dana photograph your wedding! We are so happy we did, and could not imagine our day without them ❤️ -

If you want your wedding day captured by the best of the best, you have to hire Scott & Dana! These two not only capture beautiful photos, they also make you feel so comfortable while doing so. In order to ensure we were all on the same page pre-wedding day, my husband and I met up with the duo a few weeks beforehand to get to know each other and discuss all the little details. Scott and Dana are personable, responsive, flexible, kind, creative and truly artists at what they do. They truly care that their couples are happy and that every memory is captured, even if that means staying late. We could not speak more highly of Scott and Dana or recommend them more. Not only are they absolutely wonderful people, but their immense talent allowed us to end up with the most beautiful wedding photos we could have asked for. We got married at Calistoga Ranch back in April and I am still blown away - and can't help but smile - every time that I look at them. Throughout the process (and including after the wedding as they helped us to compile our albums), Scott and Dana were incredibly responsive, kind, flexible, and consistently went the extra mile to make sure we were happy. They are so thoughtful - and even sent us cookies (that were so delicious we used the same company for the cookies in our gift bags!) as a thank you for selecting them for our big day. They also both have incredible eyes for everything: shots of people, objects, and landscapes (we just adore the images of our venue, jewelry, etc. - they are gorgeous and incredibly artistic). My husband and I are both very awkward when it comes to photos of us - and particularly solo shots - but Scott and Dana made us both feel completely at ease, which was reflected in our photos. Since we're so awkward, we elected against doing engagement shots - and they were super flexible and instead came out on a Friday night to shoot our welcome reception the night before the wedding (they (of course) did an amazing job that night as well). Talent aside, working with Scott and Dana never felt like working with vendors. On the day of our wedding, we felt like we had two more family members there to celebrate with us. Multiple guests even made comments about what a wonderful job they were doing and how lovely they both are. With Scott and Dana, its beyond obvious that they truly care. We just adore them both personally and professionally and would encourage anyone to select them for their wedding photos (and experience) of their dreams! -

Constance Sent on 09/03/2018Scott and Dana are every couple's wedding photographer dream. From the moment we met them, we knew we wanted to book them for our engagement and wedding. Not only do they take breathtaking photos, but they have a wonderful ability to make everyone feel comfortable in front of a camera, a unique eye for that perfect shot, and are the perfect mix of giving you instruction while keeping the poses natural. They truly go above and beyond for their couples, and their passion for their work shines through in each picture. We got SO many photos, and all of them- from the details, to the group shots to the romantics, were stunning! So many of our guests told us how impressed they were with their professionalism and the quality of their photos. Plus, they're just plain fun to be around! I can't recommend them enough, and I can't wait to book them for every major life event forever!

Madison Sent on 12/31/2017Planning a wedding is no easy task! I have to admit, I was dragging my feet when it came to selecting a wedding photographer. It was a huge decision and it’s an important responsibility to bestow on someone. You’re entrusting this person with capturing the most incredible event in your life!
We are so happy that Scott and Dana were the ones to capture our special day.
After meeting with them, it was the easiest wedding vendor decision we made together as a couple. They are the sweetest, easy going, husband and wife photography duo we ever met! Just in our first initial meeting, you can get a sense the love they have for each other and are passionate at what they do. It definitely translates over into their work, which is outstanding!
They are very professional and had a great system to help us navigate throughout what seemed like a chaotic day.
My advice to the bride-to-be reading this review: HIRE THEM! They are the best! They know what they’re doing and will capture in the most beautiful way possible.
If you book them just know, you will be gaining friends for life! And you might get some sweet surprises along the way ;)

They take what they do seriously and it shows in every single image they capture. They captured our engagement and wedding day so perfectly, it is hard to put into words (just take a look at their work and you will understand). They are seriously masters at their craft.
They are also beyond professional, they took every step necessary to make sure we were taken care of, felt supported and were happy throughout the process.
Most importantly, they were not just our photographers, they became our family. We were honored to have them be a part of the most special day of our lives. We wouldn't have had it any other way. We are forever grateful to them and everything they did to make our wedding day one we will never forget.
I promise, you will not be disappointed to work with these two. Book them already! -

We first met them when they did our engagement shoot and immediately knew we had to have them be our wedding photographers. Going into the engagement photoshoot I don’t think either of us knew what to expect. We had never had professional photos taken before and we were a little nervous. That feeling quickly dissipated after meeting Scott and Dana. We ended up having a blast. Our family and friends kept commenting on how flawlessly they fit into our wedding day. We just got to go through all of the photos from our wedding and they are more than we could have ever hoped for. I cannot imagine having anyone else being there to capture such a special day.

Sarah Sent on 12/13/2017As many reviews state, Scott and Dana were by far the best vendor selection we made for our wedding! We honestly don’t know what we would have done without them! They are part wedding photographer, part friends, part parents, part wedding planners, part everything else that is awesome and needed on your wedding day and throughout the planning process.
Not only are their pictures incredible, dreamy and swoon worthy, their professionalism and willingness to make you the happiest you can be is unparalleled. From start to finish, even today 6 months after our wedding, they continue to exceed our expectations. They just sent us a Christmas ornament with a photo from our wedding wishing us a merry first Christmas!
They did our engagement pictures, rehearsal dinner pictures and wedding pictures and we love every single one. They also did our wedding album and a canvas for us. All of our friends and family have commented how incredible our photos are. We could not be happier. They both work so hard for you, and you can tell it’s their passion. Their love for one another is also inspiring.
Whenever anything went wrong during our day, and it happens to everyone, they were the ones helping us through it!
Stop looking and hire them immediately! It will be the best money you spend for your wedding. We love you guys! We can’t thank you enough.

They go above and beyond to get the best images and their hard work shows in their gorgoeus photos. And most of all they are nice and fun people to be around which makes it that much better! I would recommend them to anyone! -

They are a husband and wife team, whose love for each other is evident through their photos. Scott and Dana were a dream to work with from the very beginning. I can't say enough good things about them. They replied promptly to my many emails, offered advice and suggestions on the timeline and shot list, and were very organized in gathering all necessary details prior to the big day. Both Scott and Dana are hardworking, creative and energetic, and do a great job being "behind the scenes" during the wedding - you won't even know they are there!
We have received so many compliments on our engagement and wedding photos. All of our friends and family were blown away with how beautiful they are; and all credit goes to Scott and Dana. They definitely have an "eye" for spotting beautiful scenery, finding the light, and making everyone feel at ease while having fun at the same time! We had a large wedding party, and the photos could have been dragged on forever, but S&D were so organized, and made the process fun. Our wedding party all commented on how great they were. Our family and friends that had a chance to talk with S&D at the wedding all commented what nice people they are. We cannot say enough good things about them and their talent! We were blown away by all their photos and nothing compared after spending an entire weekend of comparing wedding photographers online. Our wedding was small and shorter in length than the average wedding but they were more than willing to accommodate us and from the first message I sent to Scott and Dana inquiring about their services I got the best vibe from them! So friendly and genuinely happy about us getting married, even offering marriage advice which I'm pretty sure is not in their job description lol We even met up a couple times beforehand making us feel totally comfortable and ease. They are professional and organized but also really easygoing and fun. Their love for each other and their work makes them even better at what they do.
The day of our wedding they were full of energy and doing whatever it took to get the best shots, and as many as they could possibly fit in their time frame. Dana helped weave a pearl necklace into my bouquet and Scott was running messages and errands back and forth. Totally things they did not have to do but made our big day go that much more smoothly. We can not be happier with our pictures, every single detail was captured so perfectly and we have received so many compliments. We knew the pictures were going to look amazing but they even exceeded our expectations. Thanks to Weddings by Scott and Dana we will have each and every one of these memories to look at again and again for the rest of our lives. We can not imagine anyone else photographing our wedding!
