Ray showed up early and prepared on our wedding day. He captured every single detail that we wanted in our video. The video was absolutely amazing and was everything we asked for! Ray was super organized and always knew when and where to be! We could not recommend Ray enough. If you’re thinking about booking a video for your special day then Ray is definitely the way to go!!

We were extremely happy with our experience with Weddings by LDF. The videographers on the day of were very professional and courteous. The package we selected was an extremely good deal for all of the footage and editing they completed. It took slightly longer than expected to get everything back, the deadline was originally 2/15/25 for our wedding that was on 11/16/25 and we ended up getting everything about 2 weeks after the deadline but Ray was very communicative throughout the process and the end result was beautiful. Highly recommend Weddings by LDF!

John was so wonderful during our wedding. When our photographer stopped being kind and starting being rude, he went above and beyond with his patience and kindness. We did not expect our photographer to act the way they did but John was so much more professional and skillfully navigated the situation. Incredible Wedding Videographer - Reliving Our Special Day!
We had the pleasure of working with Weddings by LDF for our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Ray is the BEST!!
Ray was the perfect choice for our wedding videographer. We just got our footage back and I am speechless by how incredibly he captured the magic of the day. He showed up early to capture me and my bridesmaids coming off the bus and to get drone footage of the venue. He was so fun and easy-going throughout the day. Always getting the good detailed shots without feeling like you were being followed for a reality tv show. It rained a bit on my wedding day and we eventually got a rainbow. We had a cross that I wanted to get a photo of with the rainbow in the background but it was facing the wrong way. Without asking, Ray got up and lifted the massive cross and turned it around so we could get the shot. That's just one example of how he went above and beyond for us. I love our movie and all of the raw footage is the perfect way of reminiscing on the day. I really cannot recommend Weddings by LDF enough!

An Excellent Videographer!
My wife and I scrambled a few weeks before our wedding to find a videographer. When we contacted Weddings by LDF, Ray was very kind and fit us right into his schedule. On the wedding day, he was highly professional and even filmed a few drone shots of the church because he had arrived early. So glad we decided to book!
For a long time we weren't sure whether we wanted to use a videographer for our wedding and ended up booking Ray pretty late in our planning process. It was one of the best decisions we made. We had an incredible photographer, but there are some things that just can't be captured in a photo and I am so glad we have this special memory of our wedding day.
Ray showed up early on our wedding day and got right to work. He captured everything so naturally, giving occasional prompts but mostly just letting moments happen organically. When we got the finished product back, there were so many moments and details he captured that we didn't even know about. Ray was so easy to work with and even though we had never met in person (he is based in Greensboro and we got married in Gastonia), he got my camera-shy husband out of his shell and completely hamming it up within the first hour!
And in the best news, he FAR exceeded the timeline we expected for the final wedding film. We were so excited to get to watch it early. and we will treasure this beautiful work for years to come. If you are considering a wedding videographer, 1) just do it and 2) I cannot recommend Ray enough. Thank you Ray for being a part of our special day!

Best Decision Choosing Weddings by LDF
While my husband and I decided to have a micro wedding and planned our wedding in less than two months, we still wanted to ensure our ceremony was documented. About a month out from our wedding, I reached out to Weddings by LDF, and within 48 hours, I had a response from Ray and a phone call scheduled to discuss our wedding. During the call Ray asked a few questions to get an idea about our ceremony, our vision and what we would like to have documented on the day of. He went through timelines and what I should expect, and about a week out, we confirmed the details and time, and on the day of the wedding, he executed everything we discussed. His professionalism and attention to detail exceeded my expectations. He showed up on time and captured each moment we discussed and more. He was attentive not only to my husband and me but also to my friends and family. He was catching things that my photographer didn't see. Hands down, I would recommend Ray for all videography needs. I have not seen the videos yet, but I know they will be amazing!

Having a destination wedding is not for the faint of heart. When it comes to the big day, you want everything to be perfect. Hiring someone you don't know to capture those special moments can be a little nervewracking. If you need a videographer, look no further. I was very impressed with Ray. He kept in touch, arrived early, and made sure that everything went smoothly. He is very astute and made sure that everything was right, even down to the smallest details (background clutter, things out of place). He was also very flexible, as my daughter chose a few alternate locations for pictures. If you need a videographer, he's your man!

Ray Lewis and his team at Weddings By LDF gave my husband and I memories that will last a lifetime. We hired them for our wedding in April 2023 and all through the planning process was very smooth. Let me just say if you are undecided about which package to go with on your wedding day, you need to go with the longer wedding day video with the voiceovers and the raw footage clips. What they say is true, your wedding day flies by and it can seem like a blur. But when we got our video and all of the raw footage, it was like I was seeing my wedding day for the first time. And while the product was beyond amazing, the people made it even better. Wong was our main shooter for the day and Long was shooting as well. Within the first few minutes of meeting these two gentlemen, I feel like I have know them for years. They are so personable and make you feel so relaxed on a day that can be very hectic and stressful. You ask any member of our family or wedding party, and they would say the same thing. They took so much time getting every single detail and did not miss a beat. They captured every special moment. My husband and I couldn’t stop talking about them and what a fantastic job they did. Let this review be an end to your search of a videographer for your big day. I can’t say enough good things about the men who work for Weddings By LDF and the product that they delivered. You guys are amazing at what you do and we can’t thank you enough for your kindness and the videos that will last a lifetime!
We had our wedding last Friday 9/8/23, where Ray was our videographer along with his helpful assistant, Joe. They were such an amazing team! Joe was nice and professional. Ray was very knowledgeable and you can tell he has perfected his craft! Prior to our wedding, I had not met Ray in-person but as soon as I met him I immediately felt relief that we were in good hands. Ray is absolutely amazing. We had several less traditional events on our wedding day, like Chinese wedding games, and he completely understood the assignment. I have raw footage of him ducking under the limbo ribbon to make sure he got both the groom's and the bride's side of the door threshold! He caught all the little moments we blinked and missed. He was never intrusive and had this knack for being in the right place at the right time.
When we got our video, it was like being transported back to our wedding day. Ray managed to capture the laughter, the happy tears, the crazy dance-offs, and all the love that filled the room. His work is more than just a video - it's the magic of our special day that we can relive over and over again. If you need a wedding videographer, do yourself a favor and book Ray. My only regret is not paying for the full day package! His work is worth every penny and then some.

Spectacular!!
We were hooked on Ray’s style of videography even from the few videos of his we watched! After getting to talk with and get to know him, we knew already that we made the best decision! From the beginning, he was so great to work with and was incredibly personable, patient, kind, and welcoming, and communication with him was always SO easy. He answered all of our questions and his guidance and expertise helped make the planning process that much easier and enjoyable! On the day of, he coordinated so well with our photographers and played an invaluable role in helping things go smoothly. He gave great directions and guided us through all the shots and made sure that we were able to be present during our wedding and spend time with our people. We’re so excited to receive the final video and can’t wait to relive the day through Ray’s beautiful work! Can’t recommend enough!

Josh was awesome!
Weddings by LDF was awesome to work with! Our videographer Josh did an AMAZING job on Saturday!! The groom and groomsmen loved him, as did the bridesmaids and I! He was so great at directing us about what to do and captured as many moments as possible. Every time I saw him throughout the night he was videotaping something and I really appreciate his thoughtfulness in capturing as much footage as possible. I could not be happier with him as our videographer for the wedding!

Professional, affordable, great quality
Ray and his team are great. They were AWESOME the day of. They gave me great instructions on how to pose and what to do for videos, which helped me a lot because my photographer had more of a candid style. I was so grateful for their help and guidance! They were a pleasure to work with the day of my wedding, and the final video was really nice. I would 100% hire them again (and actually did hire them for my brother's wedding!)

Our experience with Ray was incredible. He was very quick to respond and help answer questions and plan our day to make the most of it. Ray was absolutely amazing. From the moment I reached out to him, to him delivering the video we could not be happier. We are so happy with our video and are so grateful Ray was able to capture our special day. He was amazing the day of our wedding and helped us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Ray was flexible on the day of the wedding and even showed up early when I last minute asked him to due to incoming rain. Truly could not have asked for a better videographer. So grateful we chose Ray and that we have the video to look back on forever!

WOW!! One of my FAVORITE vendors from our day!
Words can't describe how thankful I am to have had Ray and his team as one of our vendors for both our Rehearsal and Wedding Day. There were some vendors who really pleasantly surprised me and some who really disappointed. I'm happy to say Ray was the first! It's hard for me to actually describe it, but Ray was such a positive and calming presence to me all day. He really helped me put things into perspective as little things here and there were going wrong and he rolled with the punches so well. He worked so well with our Photographers and we already received our Trailer back (about 2.5 weeks) and it is INCREDIBLE. I can't stop watching it because it just puts a smile on my face and the video is exactly the vibe we were going for!
I spoke with and compared over 15 Videographers before finding Ray, after being so impressed from seeing the footage from a friend of a friend's wedding. When I say I was picky, I was PICKY!! Ray was SO responsive to my 100s of emails and questions - fast and thorough. At about 1 month out - you get inundated with emails from vendors. Ray was not one of those who stressed me out and filled up my inbox. We had one quick call to confirm the details close to the wedding date, and that was it! Also, his pricing was super reasonable and we had the opportunity to customize exactly what we wanted. I absolutely do not regret hiring Ray and his team - I'm just so happy with our experience, I could cry happy tears!!

Literally speechless, Ray was amazing throughout the entire process. From contract and pricing, to the wedding day, to the timeliness and ease of video return. My videos are everything I ever dreamed of and exactly how I envisioned them from the first time I saw a wedding video in college. I always said I WILL have a videographer and I wanted one who would allow for: short clips, drone coverage, longer video, and all the clips in between. Ray was all of that and more and we are SO thankful for all he did for us.

From the moment we reached out to Ray to the moment we gave goodbye hugs at our reception, our experience with Weddings by LDF was truly wonderful. Wong and Josh were with us the entire day and did such a seamless job of capturing every important moment.
My 92-year-old grandmother was unable to travel for our wedding and Ray had a ceremony edit sent to us within 24 hours so that she could see us get married. So incredibly special. I think she has watched it at least 75 times already.
Eternally grateful to Ray and his team. Highly recommend to any couple looking for a warm and talented videographer to capture their wedding:)

Ray was professional, reliable, helpful, and flexible. I am very happy to have Ray to record our special day. He arrived early at the venue to set up everything so that no moment would be missed. We like his suggestions on the scenes and poses to record. I am grateful for his flexibility. Our schedules deferred from the original plan but Ray was able and willing to adjust to that change. In addition, our live streaming device lacked a mounting part, and Ray happened to have it and lended it to us happily. This was very helpful, and the live streaming went smoothly as well. Excellent Videographer to Capture Your Precious Moments
We decided to book a videographer somewhat last minute and selected Weddings by LDF due to the multiple positive reviews as well as the prompt communication from Ray, the services included (2 cameras), and his reasonable pricing. We opted for filming our ceremony only, which most vendors did not offer, and were extremely pleased with Ray’s professionalism and service. Our wedding was on a Friday and we had the completed film by Monday. We are so happy with the final version and grateful to Ray for the work he did to capture our most precious moments.

I always knew that I wanted a videographer for my wedding but the decision making process can be so difficult. In order to just make it easier for you, go with Ray! Y'all will not be disappointed! He was so incredibly responsive, easy to communicate with, and the teaser video he sent the next day....y'all. I have people who didn't go to my wedding telling me they COULDN'T STOP WATCHING how freaking fun and amazing it was. I am super awkward in front of a camera, but Ray made things easy, fun, and was so patient with me. I couldn't imagine not having him available and there for the big day. My husband and I can't wait for the full video. Words cannot do him justice for capturing such an incredible day in such a special way. Ray was the perfect person for our wedding day videography. He was extremely professional, worked well with our photographer, was creative, and more. He captured the spirit of our day so well and we will cherish these recorded moments for the rest of our lives! Amazing Experience! Lost in a sea of videographer recommendations?? Please Read!
The entire 15 months we were engaged, I watched so many videos and hopped from vendor to vendor website confused on the style, offerings, price point and every little detail you tend to over think when trying to pick the perfect person to capture your day. I was so hesitant to commit to anyone and the closer we got to the date, it didn't seem like we had left room in the budget. With a month left, I just knew it would be a mistake not to book someone. I started looking around again and of course being so close to the date, everyone was booked and a lot of vendors were not as responsive as this frantic bride thinking we had missed our chance. I came across Ray with Weddings by LDF and somehow had missed his page in previous searches. I fell in love with his website and video samples, but I just knew someone this talented would be booked. To my surprise he responded to my email immediately (so refreshing) and was available- I knew it must be meant to be so booked him! My impression of Ray prior to the wedding was professional, extremely responsive, organized, genuinely kind, flexible, and very client serving (reading other vendor's contracts felt like I needed to sacrifice my first born just to earn the right to be represented by them). On the wedding day, Ray was the first vendor on the scene and the moment he walked into the bridal suite, I knew I had booked a true professional. I was blown away by his focus, artistic vision, ability to always seek quality every time he lifted the camera while being completely aware of the schedule and keeping everyone in line. He took charge and worked seamlessly with my photographer and if it wasn't seamless, I would have never know it. He was just one shooter but somehow everywhere. Even at the reception amongst the dancers, music and crowd, if there was a moment - he was right there and on it. Our wedding was in Lexington, SC and Ray came from Greensboro, NC and normally I would be hesitant to book someone that would have to make that drive, but he did everything with an organized ease. I can not stress enough how kind, professional, and talented he is. This is the type of person you want present on your wedding day. I was already pleased with his pricing and packages, but after the wedding day, we feel so honored to have Weddings by LDF create a most cherished film for us and know without a doubt the value we are receiving is unmatched. No need to continue watching countless videos from different videographers or to overthink all the details anymore- you can book Ray for your wedding and know you are in great hands! If he is available, snatch him up!

I CANNOT recommend LDF enough!! We really wanted a videographer for our wedding, but a lot of the options we looked at were way beyond what we could ever afford. Ray was so responsive and friendly from the beginning, gave us all the raw footage, AND had our wedding video done FOUR DAYS after the wedding!!! I couldn't believe it! We got to watch it on our honeymoon and relive the day. I have watched the videos a million times since then. We really enjoyed having them on the wedding day. If you are on the fence, do it! This was my favorite vendor to hire!

Fantastic Wedding Videographer!
I worked with Ray and his team at my wedding in February 2022, and without hesitation I would recommend him to anyone looking for a videographer!! From my first inquiry, his email communication was extremely fast (sometimes responding within minutes!), clear, and professional. On the day of the wedding, I had so many guests comment on how awesome Ray and his team were. Even more, our wedding video is AMAZING and Ray had it to us in less than a week! A week!! Some couples wait months for their videos, and I still don't understand how Ray accomplished such a quality video in such a short amount of time!! I absolutely recommend Weddings by LDF to all couples planning a wedding!! Thanks, Ray!

Excellent experience!!!
We had a great experience working with Weddings by LDF! Through the stress of having to split our wedding as a smaller ceremony and a later large reception due to covid, Weddings by LDF was very accommodating and reasonable with helping to make sure we captured all the special moments! Communication was easy. Ray took into consideration all our preferences on music and what we really wanted to include. The videographers were great and very personable! We appreciate all the hard work that went into our wedding video and will enjoy it for years to come! Thank you!!!

I HIGHLY recommend using Weddings by LDF to capture every moment of your special day! By far, the best video I’ve ever seen from a wedding. Ray and Joe were such a pleasure to work with! I met them for the first time on my wedding day and it felt like I had known them for years. They collaborated well with the photographers and created such a meaningful video that I will forever cherish! There is nothing negative to say about them as they were perfect!

Just book it, you won’t regret it
Just got our wedding video and am truly in awe of how well Ray captured our wedding day! It was the perfect blend of emotions and PARTY which is exactly what we wanted. Flexible, Responsive, and So Easy to Work With!
Ray and his team not only came to my wedding venue early, but they came prepared with several high-quality cameras, and got straight to work. They knew exactly what they were doing! There were several changes in the wedding day schedule, and Ray was extremely flexible with all of the changes. Every time I would email Weddings by LDF, I would receive a response in a few minutes, which helped so much in the planning process and alleviated some wedding stress! When it came to posing and staging, Ray was very knowledgable. If you are getting married or need any videography done, I highly recommend Weddings by LDF!! They are definitely worth the investment. The team is awesome, my husband and I loved having them be a part of our big day!

Book Ray for a quality videographer!!!
Ray from Weddings by LDF was the videographer for our wedding on Saturday (10/30/21) and he was the absolute best go work with!!! We had booked him when I found him on The Knot suggestions and fell in love with his prior work. We were so excited with how beautifully his videos came out with other weddings but then… Covid hit and we were forced to postpone our wedding 2 times. Ray was so flexible and understanding and was able to accommodate our new date right away. Fast forward to last weekend and we finally had our dream wedding! Ray was so easy to work with and was very clear with his directions for us. We loved how passionate he was when he got a really good shot or good lighting. We felt totally relaxed with Ray and we’re not the type of couple that is always taking tons of photos or videos of each other! If you’re looking for a quality videographer that’s passionate about his work and will make you and your husband/wife feel at ease in front of the camera, look no further than Ray with Weddings by LDF!

Ray was such a delight to work with! He was there for every moment of our wedding and more! When I thought he was recording, there he was right there in the middle of all the action. I know he is going to piece together a wonderful highlight video just by what he was setting up to record. He should me a couple of clips during the evening and it was beautiful!

Ray worked seamlessly beside our photographers and brought a productive and fun attitude into a hectic affair. He knew the shots that needed to be captured and was extremely prompt, attentive, polite and kind through it all. Fantastic Experience From Start to Finish
Ray has been great to work with. From the first phone call it was obvious he truly cared about capturing what was important to us. He answered questions promptly, clear in communication and made it evident he truly enjoys filming weddings! Sooo worth it!
Ray was amazing to work with! Professional, kind, and attentive throughout the planning process. On the wedding day, he was great to provide guidance where needed to get the right shots and half the time I didn't even know where he was because he blended in so well. We got our video back within 8 weeks as promised and it is INCREDIBLE! We were blown away. He captured the whole feel of the wedding so perfectly. So glad we budgeted for videography because this video is priceless!!

AMAZING - couldn't recommend them more!
I cannot recommend Ray and his assistant enough - They were absolutely fantastic! They arrived on time, were incredibly friendly, efficient, flexible and so creative and fun with the shots they got. They also had such a great way of putting us at ease and not interfering with special intimate moments, while still capturing them all. We had some unforeseen medical emergencies that occurred and they were amazing in handling that, ensuring our guests still had a wonderful time and caught all the fun moments we missed while we had to handle those matters. We even received compliments from our family and friends about how nice, sweet and professional they were. They also worked wonderfully with all of my other vendors & were so cooperative with everyone. Not to mention - They had our teaser video done within 24 hours.. INSANELY fast! I didn’t expect that at all. Seriously I could go on and on - Don’t hesitate to book them, I truly can’t recommend them enough. We can’t wait to see our full video!

Ray was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. He was prompt, professional and an absolute pleasure to be around. We had to postpone (less than a month out) due to covid and he was so accommodating throughout the entire process. We received our film back in time frame stated in our contract and could not be more pleased. We've already watched it numerous times and will do so for years to come. Attentive, Professional, Complete Package
I had the pleasure of working alongside Ray as the Wedding Photographer at a wedding. I can't stress how important it is for the videographer and the photographer to work and communicate well effectively. Ray, hands down was one of my favorite videographers to work with. He was conscious of where I was and informed me of where he was going next. This helped to make sure I stayed out of his shots, and in turn made sure we got all shots we BOTH needed.
Above all else Ray truly cares about his couples and puts them first. Making sure they had some privacy to themselves so they can soak in the moment and truly enjoy one another.

Ray was fantastic! When I initially reached out to him to ask about his videography services, he was very straightforward about what he offered. Captures sentimental moments effortlessly with a great eye for detail!
Ray Lewis with Weddings by LDF did an absolutely phenomenal job capturing our Wedding Day! As a couple we wanted someone to not only capture the love of our friends and family and our quirky personalities, but be able to capture moments that we may not get to see otherwise. Having Ray film our Wedding Day allowed us have something tangible to look back on for years to come! Communication was acceptable from day one. A personalized questionnaire to fill out helped me to communicate my wants and ideas and this was greatly appreciated! Ray's calming presence and easy going attitude on our day made us feel so comfortable! He has a way of working behind the scenes in a fashion that's not intrusive or in the way. We chose the Full length wedding video and allowed Ray to select the music -- this is now our new obsession to watch! The raw footage we received was nice to have and being able see special moments we were not part of meant a lot---especially in the times we were getting ready or away taking photos. The quality of the video is impressive and the flow of different scenes in our wedding film and music to match felt like we were watching our own personal movie starring us! We cannot thank you enough Ray! We will cherish our Shirey film forever and it gives us a lovely reminder of the love we started with, the love we have, and the love we will continue to grow!

Talented & Professional Videographer who Perfectly Captured Our Special Day
From start to finish, our experience with Ray was phenomenal! In our preliminary discussions, he took the time to understand what was important to us and what moments we wanted captured. On the day of our actual wedding, he was prompt and worked well with our other vendors. Ray was a natural at finding the right shots, angles and pulling all of the shots together in a seamless, breath taking video. Ray's presence was almost uncanny in that he felt like a part of our family- it wasn't like having a 'stranger' or vendor we working with, but someone who fit in with both us and out guest. Well worth it!
I never planned on having a videographer for my wedding, but when COVID caused me to cut my guest list tremendously, I wanted to make sure that my special day was captured professionally for all my loved ones who couldn't be there. I didn't have much time to shop around so I sent quote requests to a few different videographers. Most were way out of my price range but Ray's prices were reasonable. I feared that meant the service wouldn't be exceptional but I took a chance. The whole experience was seamless, from the weeks leading up to our wedding until the delivery of our final product. Our hundreds of friends and family who watched the live stream said they felt like they were there and there were no technical difficulties whatsoever. Even after the delivery of our final product, I made a few more requests which were happily and quickly granted. I can't believe I got so lucky but I am so happy I did. Book Ray for your special day. You won't be sorry!
