Great everything!

Words can not describe how amazing the music and DJ were the night of our special night.

We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ for our wedding! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. They were incredibly professional, easy to work with, and truly understood the vibe we wanted for our big day.

The music selection was spot on—not only did they play all of our must-have songs, but they also read the crowd perfectly and kept the dance floor packed all night. The transitions between songs were seamless, and the energy never dropped.

Best Night Ever!

Tyler was our DJ and he was fantastic. He arrived early and got everything setup for our ceremony & reception. Our introduction was perfect (we had a large wedding party) and his energy really rubbed off on the guests. Once dinner was done, the dance floor stayed full. We also had the photo booth and that was fun! Thanks to Amber for breaking us away to get to the booth. We researched DJ music and are glad we went with DJ Kurtis Cross. They are a bit more expensive than some other options, but their pre-planning help and day-of performance made our day simply perfect. Well worth the additional $ we spent. Shout out to Andria & Kurtis for meeting with us on Zoom to help plan the details!

We had an exceptional experience with Dynamic DJ Entertainment for my 50th birthday. From start to finish, they were professional, easy to work with, and truly went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The DJ kept the energy just right throughout the night—reading the crowd, taking requests, and ensuring the dance floor stayed full.

The photo booth was a huge hit as well. The setup was clean and stylish, the props were fun, and the photo quality was excellent. Our guests loved it, and we appreciated how helpful and attentive the staff were in making sure everyone enjoyed themselves.

Mixes That Moved the Room

We hired Dynamic DJ Entertainment for our wedding, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Their team was organized, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. Family Oriented and the Best

Kurtis and his team truly provided us with a beautiful ceremony and DJ services. DJ Kurtis and his team made our night perfect. When we first Zoomed with Kurtis & Andria, we knew we had the right DJ. They were helpful with monthly email reminders, choosing the music and guiding us along the way. We didn’t have a planner so their help came in handy. We booked Kurtis as our DJ and he is “as advertised.” The Photo Booth was a great touch and the gallery of photos was so much fun, reviewing it after our wedding. Our Anniversary Party was wonderful. Kurtis & team were professional, attentive, and responsive through the process. The evening was perfect.

Awesome DJ!

We found Weddings by Kurtis Cross through a friend who highly recommended them. From our first conversation with Kurtis, we knew they were a great choice! Kurtis and his team were extremely helpful from the very beginning down to every last detail. Our wedding day didn’t go exactly as planned due to bad weather, but they didn’t skip a beat when the plans changed a little bit last minute. During the reception, Carlos & Andria helped make sure everything was moving along as scheduled and even made my husband and I plates of food. They were very attentive and made sure we had a full drink at all times!

The Photo Booth provided by them was a big hit! Andria made sure to pull us away from the chaos so we could get some pics in the booth- otherwise we wouldn’t have had much chance.

Everything was absolutely perfect! If you are in the market for a DJ- look no further! Kurtis and his team are who you need!

Dancing All Night with E-Major and the Kurtis Cross Team

Weddings by DJ Kurtis Cross is phenomenal! Andria met with us several times and was just so amazing in helping to plan out our receptions, and she went above and beyond to make sure that everything was in order and that the DJs would be sufficiently prepared for the night. DJ E-Major, along with Jason, played a great mix and got everyone up and dancing. Kurtis keeps the party rockin'

We can’t say enough good things about Kurtis and his team, but I think the most important thing to know is that Kurtis knows how to throw a party! His service comes with everything, from planning, to MC and DJ service, to lighting and ambience! Throughout our wedding, Kurtis kept the party rocking and the dance floor bumping!

Kurtis is the epitome of professionalism and his calm demeanor and confidence made us feel very at ease throughout the planning process! He is extremely well organized, connected, engaging, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to work with. Kurtis is extremely responsive and met with us routinely throughout the planning to gauge where we were and make sure that we were on track with vendor bookings as well as the finer details.

On the day of the wedding, Kurtis and his fantastic team took the lead in coordinating with all the vendors to make sure everything went off without a hitch! I cannot stress how much of a relief it was knowing that Kurtis was there to ensure everything went absolutely perfect and it did!

10/10. Five Stars. Two Thumbs up. Whatever measuring system you’re using, we 100% recommend Kurtis for your wedding or any other event you need DJ’d.

This DJ was the best!!! Highly Recommend!

From our very first conversation with Kurtis, we knew he was going to be our wedding DJ. He is so full of energy, so personable, and passionate about his job, and it shows. He was always communicative, always expressed excitement about our wedding, which made us excited, and always receptive to our requests and feedback. Also, the number and quality of services he offers are great. From gobo lighting, the dancing on a cloud fog machine , a number of different photo booths to choose from, you can really customize your wedding in so many different ways. We had a number of children at our wedding and they had such a blast playing with the oversized lawn games. Overall, we had such a great experience and couldn't have been happier with Kurtis and team.

DJ Kurtis Cross was one of the vendor partners recommended by our venue, and we are so happy we decided to book with them! We appreciated having periodic check in meetings over Zoom during the planning process, and the team was very thorough in making sure they nailed down every detail needed, from timeline to song requests to introductions and name pronunciations. We had a little bit of difficulty using the new online planning portal, but Kurtis was quick to respond to our concerns and ensure all of our requests were noted.

DJ Kurtis worked with our day-of coordinators to keep everything running smoothly throughout the day of our wedding, while remaining felxible and ensuring we were able to enjoy our reception. Our guests were on the dance floor all night long, which was super important to us. We received many compliments on our reception music as well as the friendliness of DJ Kurtis and DJ E Major. A few of my friends who are getting married even asked for their info to potentially book for their own weddings! We highly recommend DJ Kurtis Cross!

Fantastic Guy, unbelievable catalog of music, customized for us

DJ Kurtis is really a special guy. His services were included in the Milton Ridge package that we chose for our daughter's wedding. I am Father of the Bride and de facto wedding coordinator. My best friend and old DJ partner agreed, that the DJ makes the party. We could not have asked for more personable DJ, Kurtis was there at every turn, making sure that each moment was special for our daughter. From the ceremony music, to the exit, my daughter's choices of music were found and executed by DJ Kurtis. I would certainly use his services even if not associated with the venue Milton Ridge. We had numerous Zoom meetings, he has an extensive questionnaire, that helps to choose and guide the music and announcements from beginning to end of the day. He is a stickler to ensure that the bride and groom as well as the families hear their favorites and most importantly that they get up and dance. He is a professional and he loves what he does. I would rate him higher than 5 Stars if I could because of the truly personal touch that he provided for their special day. He is my DJ brother from another mother. We were thrilled with Kurtis Cross & his team on our wedding day. When we booked them, we knew we made the right decision and on our wedding day, we again knew, that we made the right decision. From the start there was energy and our DJ (Chase) was professional and prepared. We zoomed with them a few times during planning so we already met DJ Chase beforehand. Awesome Party!

We hired Kurtis Cross & his team and of course... had to change our date because of the pandemic. They were the only company who literally gave us no grief about changing our date. With so much to worry about (other vendors, guest list, the hotel block, our honeymoon, etc) it was a relief that Kurtis was so flexible. As a DJ service they were simply the best. They checked in with us throughout the planning steps and were willing to schedule Zooms at our convenience. On our wedding day, they arrived and were ready to go super early. They were detail oriented with their approach, to the point where the other vendors were coming to Kurtis for direction on the flow of the evening. Once dinner was over, we did not stop dancing!!! Kurtis provided us with the time of our life. Our guests were raving about the energy and you would think that he was reading our mind with the music he played. Of course, we provided some of our "must plays" but he really took it from there. I HIGHLY recommend Kurtis Cross and his team. We could not have enjoyed our day without their help!

The best!

We are beyond thrilled that we chose Weddings By Kurtis Cross as our wedding DJ company! DJ Carlos and his assistant Chase absolutely CRUSHED IT at our wedding, and Kurtis, Paula, Carlos, Krissy, and everyone else we interacted with was an absolute pleasure to work with leading up to our wedding day - incredibly professional, responsive, knowledgeable, organized, and enthusiastic at every turn! They were helpful and flexible when we had to find a new venue at the last minute, and seamlessly coordinated with the new (and old) venues to ensure everything ran perfectly for our big day.

Carlos and Chase kept the dance floor packed and set the PERFECT mood for the evening -- we're still getting compliments from guests of all ages about how much they loved the music that was played, and that it was one of the most fun weddings they'd ever attended.

We had a sticky moment when someone tried to make an unwanted speech during the reception, and Carlos handled the situation with the utmost tact and professionalism. He reacted immediately to keep things from going off track, diffused the situation, and kept the party fun and running smoothly. He was also great about working with our coordinator and other vendors to make on the fly adjustments to the reception timeline when dinner service was slow, making sure we got in all the things that were important to us throughout the night.

Oh, and the included uplighting was AWESOME and so much fun as well!!

We are so happy we chose Weddings By Kurtis Cross from the many, many options out there, and are so grateful for the important role they played in making our wedding so memorable and special! THANK YOU!!!

Two Thumbs Up!

Weddings By Kurtis Cross was the best & most professional vendor we hired. We had seen DJ Carlos at a family members wedding in 2018 so we knew who we wanted to go with. They helped us with music choices, our wedding timeline, they recommended our photographer and then some. What we really loved was their willingness to schedule a few Zoom meetings with us (planning during a pandemic is NOT easy) and they were regular with email check-ins. On the day of our wedding, Carlos organized everything to perfection and he made sure to play our requests while mixing in his own style as well. We reduced our guest count for safety reasons and Carlos (with his mask on!) was able to keep the guests entertained and our wedding was just perfect. Thanks to Kurtis & his team for being a vendor that we never worried about! Highly recommended!

5 Stars across the board!

I highly recommend DJ Krissy from the Kurtis Cross Team. She was magnificent from start to finish. Leading up to our big day, she was in contact with me every few weeks. We went over songs, bridal party, the order of events, her recommendations and more. We could not have asked for anything better on our wedding day. She arrived with an assistant who helped with setup, but Krissy was the DJ. She made all our announcements and kept our guests having fun throughout the night. The whole team was great to deal with and the Kurtis Cross Team was (hands down) our best and most professional vendor!

Kurtis Cross and Team = WOW!

I am SO glad we went with Kurtis Cross and his amazing team for our wedding day! We started chatting with Kurtis and his wonderful wife Paula mid January. Our wedding was in July. He answered all questions we had and really supported us until our wedding day. We connected over emails and Zoom meetings. We felt so comfortable working with Kurtis and Krissy. They really listened to our wants and needs and offered amazing advice and guidance. DJ Krissy really brought the magic on our wedding day! WOW! The ceremony music was beautiful. The cocktail hour and reception music was fantastic. I feel like she read our minds because it was perfect! Everyone was on the dance floor smiling and having the best time. Thank you DJ Krissy! Personalized & Professional!

I was so impressed with DJ Krissy at our wedding. From our initial encounter to see if it was a "good fit" to the day of our wedding, she was nothing but professional, responsive, and accommodating! We love to dance and she had everyone up on the dance floor with continuous music flowing from one song to the next. She played all our favorite songs but organized it in a way that kept people on the dance floor. I strongly recommend her and whole Kurtis Cross team!

Just Perfect

My husband and I had a bit of a challenge with DJs for our wedding. We had hired a family friend who is a professional DJ to do our wedding, but due to a medical emergency, he had to back out of our wedding last minute.

We contacted Kurtis Cross a little over two months from our wedding from a recommendation and luckily Kurtis had one DJ available for our date! Talking to Kurtis instantly put us at ease as he assured us that his team had four DJs, but they only ever booked three in case of last-minute emergencies.

Well, lo and behold, our DJs wife went into early labor! Just as promised, Kurtis emailed us as soon as he knew of the change and lined us up with DJ Krissy to be our DJ for the night.

Krissy was just fabulous. Everyone had a blast on the dance floor and loved the music. Krissy was also a great MC and made sure to check the pronunciation on our best man's name. She was so professional and friendly. We loved her.

Beyond the music, the sound system that they used was really great. During the ceremony, we had a lavalier mic for our officiant and a standing microphone for our readings. You could hear everything clearly. For the toasts, we had wireless mics and our guests at the furthest tables could hear everything clearly as well. We hadn't though the sound systems through, but Krissy made sure that everyone could hear everything.

Kurtis and his team are just great and we highly recommend them for any wedding.

Danced the night away

I can't begin to say enough about DJ Kurtis Cross and his staff! He/they were exceptional from the first inquiry through the last dance! We did a facetime interview with him for our initial meet -- and we knew right away that he was the right choice. He and his staff checked in on us monthly from the time we booked until the wedding -- just to see how things were going and to see if we needed any help with finding other vendors or needed advice during the planning process. The timeline they put together for the day of was so awesome and truly helped put me at ease about the day of. He handled our ceremony music, cocktail hour, and the reception so professionally. The entire event flowed so seamlessly. The dance floor was packed the entire night... He played the perfect mix of music! Even more, he helped to keep us on track throughout the night by gently reminding us when it was time for moments such as the dance with parents and cake cutting. All I had to do was literally show up -- DJ Kurtis Cross took care of everything else. I absolutely recommend his services to anyone who wants a stress-free, fun-filled event!

Amazing!!!

Kurtis was the DJ for our wedding and we could not have asked for a better reception. He made it a PARTY! From the time we booked with his company, we immediately knew we made the right decision. The best thing about working with them was we didn't have a worry. Kurtis & his team were on top of all details and sent us reminders as to what steps to take during the planning process. The Kurtis Cross Team was wonderful!!

We used the Kurtis Cross team for our wedding DJ, Photography and Officiant. They were so helpful and accommodating, and very easy to work with. We learned quickly not to stress about anything while working with them because they were constantly checking on us to see if we needed any help. They were quick to respond to all of our questions and offered suggestions whenever they could. They were also very professional. We loved the ceremony Kurtis personalized for us and loved how in control he was of the entire event. He and everyone from his team helped us stay on schedule and made everything absolutely perfect! We loved them and our guests loved them too. We've heard so many wonderful comments about Kurtis Cross and his whole team and would recommend them to anyone!!

I met Kurtis when my husband and I first started dating. I knew that Kurtis was a well known DJ but it wasnt until we hired him to do our wedding that I saw just how great he was. Kurtis was very professional and always there to answer any questions or concerns we had. He was very patient and always had a positive attitude. Paula is equally wonderful. She took beautiful pictures and made us feel at ease the entire time. Having them as a package deal was an amazing bonus. They made our big day carefree and fun. We would absolutely recommend and use them again.

I just have to say Kurtis Cross is the best DJ ever!! Kurtis and his team are so passionate about their work and they do an amazing job. I found Kurtis Cross through a wedding expo. As soon as I began talking with them, I knew that they were the right company. They were professional, yet down to earth and friendly. Once I booked them my DJ, Krissy, reached out to me throughout the time leading up to the reception to see if there was anything I needed and to talk details about the reception. Within weeks of the reception the team was so accommodating to changes that I made and helping me through the stressful last minute details. The night of, Krissy was so flexible to the scheduled itinerary and helped to make changes based on what I wanted out of the reception. She continued to adjust the music to keep everyone on the dance floor and helped to make the night an absolute blast! My special night was perfect and a huge part of that is due to Kurtis Cross DJ services and my DJ Krissy. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a flexible, understanding, and lively DJ for their event.

We hired Kurtis Cross for our wedding DJ and are still receiving compliments from our wedding guests. I have never been to a wedding where the guests heard the music start and rushed to the dance floor but Carlos made that possible. Our guests were on the dance floor the second it opened, and the dance floor stayed filled for the next 4 hours until our venue kicked us out. I have never been to a wedding where there was so much dancing and the music was so good that people wouldn't leave. We owe all of that to Carlos who made our wedding the most amazing night we could have ever asked for! Everything is thanks to him we can't take any credit. He was referred to us from another wedding and we were beyond happy to have used him for ours! You won't be disappointed! The service that we received along the way leading up to our wedding from the rest of the team, especially Paula who checked in on us to make sure we were feeling good the whole time! There are a lot of DJs in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area, we chose Kurtis Cross for our wedding based on reviews and affordability; this was the BEST decisions we could have made!! Kurtis and his team are amazing. From day 1, he made sure that the service provided and music played were exactly what we wanted. He made sure to follow up and have every possible detail covered. He communicated with us regularly and was nothing but professional. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Kurtis made sure that the music was something we didn't need to worry about.

None of that would matter if he didn't have the skills as a DJ. And Kurtis has those in droves! He's an artist. He knows how to work a crowd. He knows how to mix. He knows what to play and when. Our wedding had people of so many different music tastes and backgrounds, and he made sure that everyone was satisfied. The dance floor was never empty. Thank you Kurt. Kurtis Cross and his team are AMAZING!! They constantly kept in touch with us through out the entire planning process, and they always went above and beyond to guide us and help us with direction that even went beyond his DJ service. We felt extremely comfortable working with them. Our wedding couldn't have gone any smoother. The music was GREAT! I pretty much left it up to Kurtis as far as song selections, and everyone was raving about how well he took requests and how well he selected the music! He kept the party going all night, and I think pretty much everyone was up on their feet the whole time! The up lighting was gorgeous as well. All my guests keep talking about is how fun the DJ was and how smooth the transitions were. We felt prepared going in on our wedding day. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend anyone else besides the Kurtis Cross team. If you're looking for someone who keep everyone on the dance floor and at the same time, make sure you stay sane, hire their team. Me and my husband used DJ Shawn and Christine came along with him as the reception coordinator. Shawn was amazing! He honored any requests that we had and played the kind of music that we wanted to hear. Everyone had such and amazing time, and he was such an awesome MC! He kept everything in line and on schedule. Everything played out perfectly. And just a side note, his voice was the best. Everyone kept talking about it. When he introduced the bridal party and made announcements for each part of the wedding, his voice made everyone listen and kept everyone entertained! Christine was truly the best. She kept me sane the entire night. My gobo light was not on in the reception and I was going crazy. In less than 5 mins, it was all taken care of. He made sure the bridal party and the parents were lined up for entry into the ceremony as well as the reception. Her and Shawn constantly checked on me and my husband throughout the night. I could not have asked for a better team of people. I wish I could get married again just to hire them again. Please please please, if you are reading this review, do NOT hesitate to hire them! Kurtis and his team embody professionalism and fun. They produced the wedding celebration exactly the way we imagined it. From sitting down and planning songs to asking for last minute requests Kurtis, Paula, and their DJs made it happen for us. I have to say one of my favorite parts was when Kurtis introduced our wedding party. He announced names with joy and excitement and the music was perfectly timed out. Every song we requested was played, even down to the order we wanted them in. He threw in a few tunes to get the older crowd on the dance floor and it worked in an instant. Our wedding reception was a fabulous time and Kurtis was the biggest reason why! We had family, friends, nieces, nephews ranging in age from early twenties to early eighties, and everyone, and I mean EVERYONE was on the dance floor all night! We got tons of compliments and rave reviews on how good a time everyone had. We even got numerous "thank you" cards after the wedding telling us what an amazing time everyone had. Kurtis and his team were great throughout the planning process as well, with the timeline, and being very flexible as my husband and I kept adding to the playlist. They got everything in! Most of all, we had many guests who travelled into town from far away to be part of our day, and we wanted everyone to have a great time. They sure did, and we did too as Rick and I danced all night. Whatever rating is better than "outstanding" is the one I would use to describe Kurtis Cross and his team. Kurtis proves that you don't have to be stuffy to be professional. He treated our daughter and son-in-law's wedding as a unique event, and listened to each of us as we planned the day. Kurtis moved the event along at exactly the right pace. It was never hurried, but went along perfectly step by step; from announcing the new couple to cutting the cake and finishing with the sendoff. It was clear that he had a great professional rapport with the venue staff. Now lets talk about the music! My daughter gave Kurtis some general suggestions/requests and he started out with these. As the evening went on he read the crowd and always seemed to play the right songs to keep people dancing. Almost EVERYONE was up on the dance floor at one time or another! Also, he controlled the volume of the music so that it was great for dancing yet still allowed conversation for people who were sitting out. Did I mention that almost everyone got up to dance?! Great suggestion about the anniversary dance, we had never heard of it. That was a great way to kick off the dancing.
If you get to know Kurtis he'll be a friend, not just part of your event.

We were referred to Kurtis & Paula, after attending a wedding where they were the dj's. We booked a little late in the game so Kurtis was not available. We booked Christine as our Dj and were completely satisfied! Her mix of music was exactly what we wanted for our family and guests. I thought that with the number of guests we had (final count 186) that it would be tough to please everyone. We had the absolute best wedding thanks to Kurtis' team! I've actually never been to a wedding with a woman Dj but Christine is amazing! I highly recommend Christine and am so glad we didn't cut the budget for music. Well worth every penny to have the best night ever!

Kurtis and his team go above and beyond what a normal wedding DJ would do. They offer planning assistance the whole way through! Kurtis and his team are concerned with how your wedding will turn out from the beginning to end. They have been very responsive and supportive. I would highly recommend them, after all this is the biggest day of your life and the DJ plays a huge role. You should trust that you are getting a quality DJ.

Kurtis and his team were amazing to work with from the very start. After our first conversation, we knew that Kurtis would be our DJ for the wedding. He was very professional and paid close attention to detail. Paula was amazing and checked in with us every three weeks to make sure everything was on track and to see if we needed any help. It was nice to have that contact. On the day of the wedding, Kurtis and his team set up an amazing event. They made the room look gorgeous with their uplighting. The professionalism that Kurtis and Paula had was spectacular. They made the reception run very smoothly. I really love how they took extra effort in making sure that they introduced the wedding party correctly and all of the preset songs they played were done at the correct times. We only provided the team with a few "must play" songs, but the rest of the set list they put together kept the dance floor packed for the full night. I am very impressed on how our event was run.

Kurtis Kross and his team did an amazing job for my wedding. I am always skeptical of reviews online and I called him to discuss his services and I was blown away. He is so responsive, detail oriented and good at what he does I did not have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding. He added so much value and everyone DANCED the night away. We had so much fun I didn't want to stop dancing to even cut my cake. He played music that made everyone dance ranging from young cousins, friends, parents and aunts and uncles. He does not just hit play and walk away, he definitely is interactive and mixes up the music!

He walked me through every step of the way, we made a custom slide slow to play during my wedding for each dance and he had the entire reception fun! Very good and I am using him for all events I have needed entertainment and am recommending him to everyone.

Kurtis and the team were so professional and responsive. The value they added to my wedding cannot be expressed through stars. As a bride I was looking for a DJ that would play music to make people dance, have fun and a DJ team that knew what they were doing to make sure the event ran smoothly. Kurtis and the team did just that for me and my husband. Everyone danced all night, they worked with me on my timeline for the ceremony and the reception so everything ran so smooth, I did not have to worry at all. I am using him at every event we have where we need a DJ and am recommending him to everyone I know who wants to have a great event.

He even personalizes slideshows, pictures etc for you as an option!

We loved working with Kurtis and Paula! We were so relaxed knowing that Kurtis was our DJ and that he would be in control of things. From the time we signed our contract, Paula called monthly to check in to see if we needed anything and to see how planning was going. The week of the wedding, I emailed Kurtis and Paula with last minute requests and they were very responsive and made the necessary changes. I appreciated their flexibility. Also, before each major part of the reception (cake cutting, father/daughter dance, etc) Kurtis came up to me and my husband to let us know what was next and a time frame in which it would be taking place. This was very helpful and made us feel like we knew what was going on at every point during the evening. Paula, our reception coordinator, who was provided by the Kurtis Cross team was waiting behind the scenes and anticipated our every need before we even knew what we needed. She was totally behind the scenes, we didn't even know she was around, until we needed a place to set our drink or had a request. This additional service that the Kurtis Cross team provides sets them a part from any other DJ service in my opinion. They truly want to make your day the best ever and they welcome each couple as if you are their long time friends. The only thing I wish went a little differently was the last dance. I think the sparkler exit might have been announced too early and maybe we could have just encouraged people to stay on the dance floor for the last song which we requested to be Zac Brown Band "Love you is easy" but the song was just playing in the background as people went to get their sparklers. In a redo, I wouldn't have wanted the last song to be a slow dance like "What a wonderful world" since that wasn't a song we had requested to be played. Again, this was the only thing that didn't go as we envisioned but all in all we were very happy with our experience and would recommend Kurtis and his team a million times over!

From the moment we decided to hire a wedding planner we imagined that that person would assist us with important decisions such as a selection of a venue, photography, flowers, as well as a host of other items. We were eager to begin planning our wedding, but due to both of our busy schedules we knew we needed the help of a professional wedding planner. The first email we received from the Kurtis Cross team convinced us that they were the wedding planners who would provide us with everything we needed. We received daily emails, weekly updates, and Kurtis and Paula were always happy to participate in late night conference calls and face to face meetings no matter how many questions we had. We felt so comfortable working with them because they gave us the information and guidance we needed to make every decision necessary in planning a wedding.

Kurtis advocated for us and acted as a liaison with our vendors. Paula and/or Kurtis replied immediately to every text, call, and email. Krissy was also such a help! She also called our vendors and researched many options for us. Although we both always felt that Kurtis understood and related to both concerns that a bride and groom had, it was also beneficial to have a woman's perspective on some matters. The Kurtis Cross team relieved us of so many of the undertakings that we knew we couldn't accomplish ourselves. Through all of this process, the team was kind, friendly, and thoughtful.

On our wedding day, despite a last minute change of the ceremony site because of weather concerns, everything went beautifully. Carlos played our favorite songs - guests enjoyed them inside on the dance floor and from the veranda. Wedding day jitters were at a minimum because we knew that the Kurtis Cross Team would take care of everything in a a professional and kind manner. We had complete confidence in them. We will be forever grateful. We recommend the team completely to anyone who wants to have a beautifully orchestrated wedding!

OMG! We shared with Kurtis that we wanted to keep the dance floor full.. and that's just what happened! The guests were on the floor until the end. Even during the ceremony the music was qued up right on time! Everyone is still talking about the wedding that turned into a party!

Shawn Parker was our DJ and he did a great job of emceeing the program throughout the afternoon reception. He was professional, timely and helped to make our day special with the music we requested. Our guests really enjoyed our reception and we were glad that we spent the extra money to have music and dancing at our reception. I highly recommend this vendor to host an event.

DJ Kurtis was absolutely amazing- so many people throughout the night told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to! The dance floor was full and energetic all night long. The Kurtis Cross team worked with us from Day 1 to help design our ceremony and reception and were full of suggestions and advice when needed. Kurtis handled last minute adjustments so easily, an added hour, played on through power outages, and lots of standing water during the event. We owe so much of the success of our wedding to Kurtis and his great variety of music and his great personality. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a fun reception!

No words can describe the impeccable service of Kurtis and his team. They went above and beyond every step of the way to reassure me that my wedding day would go smoothly. Ours was a "typical" wedding in which very few things went as planned, particularly in relation to the vendors we employed, the singular exception being Kurtis and his team. Kurtis, Paula, and the extended team were an ABSOLUTE JOY to work with. They were exceedingly flexible in meeting our needs (to include a VERY spread out setup), they provided fantastic lighting options, and were utmost professionals when it came to maintaining the event's timeline. They crafted a fantastic atmosphere not just with the (PERFECT) music, but with their professionalism and all around friendliness.

Kurtis Cross and his team were excellent. I had Christine as my dj and I could not have asked for anything better. They helped me with all the details, even when i thought they were just pesky details. Both Christine & Kurtis were there with a phone call or e-mail whenever I reached out for help. Honestly, they were my best vendor. On the day of our wedding, Christine made sure that we stayed on time from our first dance to dinner to dancing. Kurtis was a great asset to my reception. My family and friends are a bunch of party animals, and he ensured the dance floor was never empty, which was a huge accomplishment. Plus, we had some scheduling issues due to the ceremony starting late, and Kurtis was willing to fill in when the ceremony musicians had to take off. He did an excellent job of keeping the party grooving without being overly involved.

Kurtis and his team did a wonderful job in making our wedding day special! They were great about collecting info in advance to appropriately plan for our reception. And during the reception itself they were able to find a balance between sticking to the itinerary and making adjustments on the fly to fit the mood of the moment. I can't recommend them enough!

My wife and I hired Kurtis 15 months before our wedding in Falmouth, MA, and he was, quite simply, amazing. Laura and I are a quite meticulous with details, and Kurtis, Paula and Christine were patient and helpful every step of the way. Our wedding was fabulous, and Kurtis was an amazing emcee. He was flexible enough to handle the changes in our schedule, yet experienced enough to get us back on time. Finally, the music was spectacular and our guests danced all night. If you have the opportunity to use Kurtis and his team, I highly recommend it.

I highly recommend using Kurtis Cross services. They worked with me even when I kept changing my mind about the details of the wedding. They were professional from start to finish, and they made me feel like they cared about what I wanted for my wedding. The ended up being one of the only services I did not have any issues with by the end of the wedding.
My wedding was definitely on a budget and the Kurtis Cross DJ services did not break my bank. We used the DJ, wedding reception coordinator services, a gobo, and ceremony sound system. I can't sing their praise enough!

Kurtis Cross and team were the lifeline for our wedding. From the moment we connected through the final hours, Kurtis and his team provide a professional and intimate level of service for us. Our wedding ceremony was a well orchestrated affair with Kurtis serving as the conductor. His attention to detail, from the processional through the recessional, providing the instrumental support for our vocalist, serving as the master of ceremony for the reception and an exceptional lighting display truely represented a great production.
