We worked with Hana and Monica for our wedding, and we truly could not recommend them enough to anyone looking for an incredible photography team. They captured our day absolutely perfectly - every important moment, every meaningful detail, and so many beautiful candid shots we will cherish forever.
From start to finish, they made everyone feel so comfortable and at ease. They were truly the most calming presence on such a special (and sometimes hectic) day and somehow made the entire experience feel fun, effortless, and natural. They have an amazing eye and always knew exactly when to step in to guide photos and when to take a step back and capture the most genuine moments.
Beyond their talent, they are just such a joy to work with. We are so grateful we had them by our side on our wedding day and would choose them again in a heartbeat. -

We are beyond thrilled with our experience with Hana and Monica as our wedding photographers! From the very first meeting at our engagement shoot, Hana impressed us with her creative vision and ability to collaborate. She immediately understood what we wanted and took our ideas to a whole new level. Her talent for finding the perfect spots and capturing our personalities made each photo a work of art.
On our wedding day, Hana was just as incredible. She skillfully documented every important moment in a style that felt both modern and timeless. I don't even know where to start. Hiring Hana was the best decision we made during the wedding planning process. She is incredibly kind and personable, and immediately calmed all our nerves about being awkward in front of the camera. She made each shoot so incredibly fun—knowing exactly how much direction to give to make our photos look amazing, but also very natural. I've truly never seen a photographer capture such genuine emotion so beautifully—several of her photos have made my family members cry after just one look at them.
Monica was the second shooter for our wedding and was just as amazing and kind—she even bustled my dress perfectly for me!! You can tell immediately that Hana and Monica truly care about each couple they work with, and I can't thank them enough for not only capturing our wedding so beautifully, but also for making us feel so beautiful while they did it.

On the eve of our anniversary, my husband and I find ourselves marveling at the stunning photos captured by our incredible photography team— Hana Gonzalez Photography. From the moment we first saw her timeless and classic style in her gallery, we knew she was the perfect choice for our Baltimore wedding.
Her photographs are not just pictures, but works of art—truly magazine-worthy. She has a knack for making ordinary moments extraordinary, making us feel like we could be on the cover of Vogue. The couple photos, solos, ceremony photos, family photos, candid guest shots, & ambiance… ALL turned out beautifully. Hana & her team also have a remarkable ability to capture the essence of what makes each wedding unique. From the intricacies of our evil-eye escort card wall to the delicate details of our flowers, she understood exactly what we wanted and delivered beyond our expectations. Her photographs tell the story of our wedding day with such clarity and beauty that it's impossible to choose a favorite (the opposite of the nightmare scenario I've heard from other couples where they don’t like enough of their photos).
We were initially nervous about posing, but Hana immediately put us at ease with her clear instructions and gentle guidance on posing— making us look like pros. Her attention to detail and calm demeanor throughout the entire weekend— and leading up to it— was exceptional. She seamlessly coordinated with our videographer and the entire vendor team. She delivered our galleries to us in a very timely manner. She also worked her magic during our engagement shoot in DC, capturing unforgettable moments against the iconic backdrop of the Lincoln Memorial. She’s the best in the business. We would absolutely want to work with Hana again in the future. I would recommend her to any couple in a heartbeat! -

if you want to know if you should hire her, the answer is ABSOLUTELY YES!
Photography was one of the most important vendors to me and I was extremely particular with who I chose as our photographer. After seeing Hana's portfolio, I reached out to her to inquire about her beautiful photos and clicked from our first phone call. She was extremely sweet and thorough, making sure she understood your vibe. She even flew over to California to shoot our engagement photos which we were obsessed with. She made two camera shy people comfortable with her kindness and easygoing personality. On wedding day, she absolutely rocked it and organized a bridal party of 18 into order! She has a beautiful eye for capturing your love and we will cherish these amazing pictures for the rest of our lives. Don't wait any longer to book her because I guarantee you, she'll be booked up fast! Thank you Hana for the most amazing experience and photos that we will cherish forever -

Hana was our photographer for our wedding this past July. Picking her was one of the best decisions my husband and I made because she captured our day beautifully. Every photo was super classic, candid, and we felt like we were reliving the day. Hana also has the ability to make people feel at ease resulting in the best photos. My husband and I are super shy in front of the camera and feel awkward having our photos taken. However, Hana would just tell us what to do in the most natural way and was able to capture so many sweet photos of us. She also got some great photos of our wedding party. We honestly can’t thank Hana enough. We can’t wait to print some photos and hang them up. Really recommend Hana for anyone that wants classic, candid, and romantic photos. -

Stunning photos & top-notch professional
Hana was incredibly warm and professional throughout the planning and many changes of our 2020 wedding. Her photos are luxury-wedding-magazine-quality (literally, she’s featured in luxury wedding magazines) and she is absolutely worth more than what she charges. From our first meeting with her I was so delighted by what how kind and personable she is - she makes you feel like you’ve been friends with her a long time.
The complimentary engagement photo shoot was icing on the cake. We weren’t planning to do one but are totally in love with the photos - it really captured our excitement leading up to the big day, and we didn’t realize how helpful it was going to be for becoming comfortable with poses that feel a bit silly but look totally natural and make for such sweet pictures. On our wedding day we felt like old pro’s and had none of the awkwardness we started the engagement shoot with.
Wonderful person and absolutely gorgeous photos - do yourself a favor and hire Hana for your wedding or special event - you will not regret it!

What a talented, kind-hearted, and cooperative photographer Hana is. It does not matter what kind of wedding you have, small-big-traditional-ethnic-modern-colorful-simple, she will give you the best gallery you have seen. Hana set aside quality to get to know us (we did the engagement shoot which solidified our relationship), was an immaculate professional, and became a trustworthy source throughout our wedding festivities.
She gave sneak peeks very quickly, gave my immediate family their due time, and provided us comfort and guidance throughout the whole process.
She caught every important moment and we are so proud to share our pictures.
Hana is now a household name where we can't imagine our next big milestones without her! We have other family members who will get married in the coming years and already have their hearts set on Hana! -

Hana honestly is the best photographer out there, I highly recommend her to everyone! Not only did she take our engagement pictures after having to reschedule several times because of this crazy year, she helped me navigate thru all of my ups and downs in trying to plan a wedding during COVID-19.

Hana is a very detailed and professional photographer. She was very responsive during the planning process. Both our engagement and wedding photos turned out more beautiful than we ever imagined. We had a destination wedding in Jamaica and we were so glad that Hana was able to travel with us. She took the time to scout out the perfect spots for our first look and post ceremony photos. The turnaround for the photos were a lot sooner than we anticipated. All of our guests loved her! We highly recommend Hana and look forward to working with her again! -

Hana is absolutely amazing at what she does, and she is a total sweetheart. Every photo she takes is a work of art. We had the pleasure of working with Hana and her assistant Jo on our wedding day. Both had such a calm presence, yet they sped things along as needed, and helped keep us on track, all while keeping everything fun and lighthearted. We received sneak peek photos from Hana less than 24 hours after the wedding (beyond amazing!!). I cannot recommend her enough. We will be scheduling many more shoots with her to come, and I have already recommended her to all of our friends in the area! Thank you so much, Hana!!

Weddings by Hana did an amazing job at my wedding and had great attitudes even during some difficult dealings and time constraints. I appreciated all of their patience and enjoyed their enthusiasm in making the best out of the time we had them for. They had to leave before our wedding ended due to the time we had reserved they requested that we do a fake exit before they left in order to get some pictures and it was amazing! We got our pictures back in a timely manner and they sent the preview pictures on like 2 days which blew our minds! Hana and Javier are great and I would recommend them to anyone! -

Worth every dollar! Would choose Hana if I had to do it all over ahain
We had such a difficult time coming across a wedding photographer that fit our aesthetic, had the right VIBES and energy, and was also something we could fit into our budget. We met Hana at a wedding expo at GMU and upon meeting her and seeing her work, I knew right away she was the perfect fit for our wedding. Hana's business sense is incomparable. She was engaged throughout the entire planning process, sent us small but very meaningful gifts and resources throughout the duration, and most importantly, has an eye and artistry that I cannot compare to anyone else in the industry. Hana also took our engagement photos and coached two very awkward soon-to-be-newlyweds throughout the entire session where we were genuinely laughing and enjoying ourselves, which was captured on film. This session also helped warm us up, helped us to get to know her and her style of photography, and we still get compliments on our engagement photos today (which sit in a beautiful album on our coffee table for guests:). Our wedding photos came out stunningly. We decided to skip the videographer and I can tell you whole heartedly that with Hana as our photographer, we weren't missing a single thing. Her husband/partner was also there throughout the wedding and while Hana focused on the bride details, Javier focused on the groom and groomsmen. It was such a great dynamic to have their energy on what would have been a very stressful day. We eased through the entire wedding, with photos that will serve as memories to last a lifetime. Not only is she gifted in her work, she was the sweetest vendor I worked with throughout my wedding. So much so that we have kept in touch after the wedding and plan to connect again for leisure and for ALL our future photo needs. (Maternity and baby shoot:) We were so happy with the memories that Hana captured and I could not recommend her more. MY HIGHEST RECOMMENDATION. You will not be disappointed. -

PERFECT Wedding Photographer!
Words cannot even begin to describe how absolutely PERFECT Weddings by Hana is! From the moment we met she and her husband, Javier at the Wedding Expo in Fairfax, we knew that she was going to be our photographer for our engagement pictures and our July wedding in Washington D.C.! Hana called us shortly after we met to get to know us and for us to get to know she and Javier. She was SO personable and friendly and made us feel important. We knew that a connection with our photographers was important, not only for our engagement photos, but also for our wedding day, and we absolutely felt that connection with Hana and Javier! We explained that we wanted sunrise engagement photos at the Jefferson Memorial in Washington, D.C. Hana was incredibly enthusiastic about meeting us at 5:45 AM at the Jefferson and took stunning photos of us with a beautiful sunrise in the background. She researched and planned prior to our engagement shoot for different angles and poses for both the Jefferson Memorial and Constitution Gardens so she was very prepared which made us feel super comfortable and we were able to take so many incredible pictures. She and Javier even sent us a beautiful Welcome Package right before our engagement photos which was incredibly thoughtful!
When it came to our wedding, Hana sent us a questionnaire with every aspect of the day from family photo line ups to what kinds of detail shots we wanted. It was very thorough and we felt confident that she was prepared for everything on our wedding day! She also researched both ceremony and reception venues prior to our wedding so she was familiar with the lighting and layout of the spaces. She even sent us a goodie bag a few days before the wedding which was a nice touch! Hana EXCEEDED our expectations on the day of the wedding. She came early and spent over 10 hours with us where she experienced and captured every silly, emotional and special moment of our day. She hiked around entire The Capitol with us and kept us smiling and laughing even in the hot, D.C. summer weather! She fixed the train of my dress, adjusted boutonnieres and even jumped out of our shuttle with us when we wanted an impromptu picture in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue! She called each of our bridal party members by name and made a point to connect with each of our family members throughout the entire day. Her personal connections with everyone of the day of the wedding made anyone in front of her camera feel comfortable.
Weddings by Hana was the perfect choice as our wedding photographer! Her professionalism, kind and caring personality and AMAZING talent at capturing our love and excitement on our wedding day make her high above the rest! We feel as though we have made lifelong friends with Hana and Javier and were so honored that they were apart of our wedding day! -

If my husband and I were to rewind back to the very beginning of the wedding planning process we might do a few things differently, but Hana and Javier would be at the top of our list of must-haves for round two. We appreciated the personal details Hana added, from the “Welcome- I’m so excited to be your photographer” package to the beautiful presentation of the USB drive that was delivered to our home in a personalized keepsake box… AND OUR PHOTOS TURNED OUT AMAZING! I knew I made the right choice when I saw the engagement photo shots. I couldn’t wait to print them in a photo book and we used them for our Save the Date magnet and invitations too. Hana knew how to make us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. We felt that her excitement for us was genuine on our special day, and we made two new talented friends through the experience! -

I met Hannah simply through word of mouth on Facebook! Our experience working with her and her husband was flawlessly amazing! She was so personable which made it very easy to just feel comfortable and have fun with our photographs!
