From the very beginning, she brought a calm, confident presence that made the entire process feel easy—which, if you’ve ever planned a wedding, you know is no small thing. She offered thoughtful guidance and advice when we needed it, but never once made us feel pressured or overwhelmed. That balance is rare, and she nailed it.
On the day of the wedding, she was punctual, organized, and completely unshakable—in the best way. We even forgot to bring our documents to the ceremony (classic wedding brain), and she handled it with total grace and zero stress. Not a hint of panic, just solutions. That alone says everything about her professionalism.
What meant the most to me personally was how she embraced both me and my family. I wasn’t the kind of bride who had every detail mapped out or knew exactly what I was “supposed” to do, and she never made me feel anything but supported and understood. She met me exactly where I was and made the experience feel natural and genuine.
Reverend Dee is a true professional who clearly knows what she’s doing—and knows the Springfield area incredibly well, which is a huge bonus when you’re planning locally.
If you want someone who will guide you, support you, keep you calm, and deliver a beautiful ceremony without adding any stress, she’s your person. I would recommend her a thousand times over. -

We had a wonderful ceremony. Dee is very personable and a pleasure to deal with. She arrived promptly, appropriately dressed and took care of the legal details prior to the ceremony. We requested a short, traditional ceremony. She provided the request in spades. Ceremony and vows that she provided were just what we wanted, meaningful and traditional. Could not have asked for anything better! If you are looking for an officiant for your wedding, we highly recommend, be it a shorter ceremony such as ours or a longer full-blown ceremony. She was great! -

Dee was the only person I wanted to marry my husband and I. Our families go back many generations and I knew how meaningful it would mean to me and her if she was the one who married us. She was very professional and very supportive in helping the day be so special. The thoughtfulness that she took in making the words she spoke during the ceremony so personal and kind and sweet was appreciated. If I had to do it all over again I would still choose Dee. Reverend Dee was such a delight to work with from beginning to end. My husband and I had the pleasure of working with her for our very special day. Even though we live in Chicago and she is here in Missouri between phone calls and emails, we made it happen. She really got to know our vibe right from the get-go. She explained everything to us and made it very simple with us being out of state. I worried about feeling lost and unsure of what direction to go next, but Reverend Dee was a wealth of information and resources. When we met on our wedding night, although we opted for a "quick ceremony," she didn't make it feel quick, and we felt like we were around a good friend we had known for a while.
I highly recommend seeking her out if you're looking for a super fantastic, laid-back, professional officiant.
Thank you, Reverend Dee, for making mine and Jason's day a day to remember!

Rev. D is such a lovely woman. She responded quickly to my last minute panicked request. I had though this would be a snappy hurried affair but it was far from it! This ceremony was short (The package we paid for) but she it was treated with such care. We really felt like she was not only happy for us but happy to be there in the first place.
If we were to do it over again we would HAVE to have our Rev. D there with us. -

Our planner couldn't attend the rehearsal, so Dee jumped in to help make sure everyone knew when to walk and where to stand. The ceremony was personalized and perfectly put together. Vow Renewal
Rev. Dee was amazing & the sweetest person ever! My wife & I renewed our vows in Branson on vacation & we were not sure where to go, So she recommended a handful of beautiful places & we fell in love with the Japanese garden. The very best
It was a very last minute wedding and Reverend Dee was amazing. I was extremely stress and she guide me step by step making my experience such a delight, she was on time and super supportive, she called us over the phone to ask us about details that we wanted or not and even mail our marriage license the very next day, this was a very incredible moment and she made super special for us and we will be forever grateful to her. She was by far our very best choise i will completely recommend her. -
