Cory captured our wedding day absolutely beautifully! The images are timeless and so perfectly captured the spirit and love of our day. He is an extremely talented artist with a clear, creative vision. Plus, he made us incredibly comfortable in front of the camera (no easy feat) and interacted with our friends and family in such an easy-going and natural way. The turnaround time on our photos was also unheard of (within the week!) and we could not be more happy with the result. Cory was communicative and responsive throughout the booking, lead up to the wedding, and follow-up. Truly had the best experience and could not recommend him more highly! -

We had the BEST experience with Cory Fontenot as our photographer for our daughter's wedding on 11/7/25. She is an artist and wanted a photographer who treated his craft as such instead of just taking pretty pictures. Cory had several phone calls with us to get a feel for what Lindsay was envisioning for First Look photos while suggesting ways to make it happen. The results were fabulous!
And during the wedding and reception, Cory somehow captured every moment and laugh without getting in the way of any of the guests. Cory's photos of their First Look and of their ceremony truly expressed the couple's love while Cory's reception photos showed the pure joy of everyone in attendance! Cory was an absolute pleasure to work with and a beautiful photographer! We highly recommend him. -

Cory was an absolute dream to work with! We really enjoyed getting to work with him so much!! From our initial chat on the phone, I knew we had found our wedding photographer. He had great energy & made us feel so comfortable & at ease throughout the entire process. He absolutely understood the vibe we were going for with our photos & was able to give us great advice on where to do our first look! On the day of our wedding, he immediately got down to business & made us feel comfortable from first look to the end of the night. We also got all of our wedding photos back from him within 2 weeks of our wedding, so we got to relive the night again & see all of the tiny meaningful moments he captured with his camera :) If you're looking for a photographer who is willing to take the time to understand your vibe & make you feel seen and confident at your wedding, then Cory is the right one for you!! Couldn't Have Asked For a Better Photographer!!
From the moment we spoke to Cory on the phone, we knew we were in great hands. He photographed both our engagement session and our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Cory is not only an incredibly talented photographer, but he is super easy to work with, friendly, and laid back. He made everything feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire process, turning what could have been a stressful experience into something so fun and memorable.
His attention to detail is unmatched, and he truly has an eye for lighting and space. Every shot he took was beautifully composed, capturing the essence of the moment in such a natural and artistic way. Whether it was the soft glow of golden hour during our engagement shoot or the intimate, candid moments at the wedding, Cory knew exactly how to highlight the best features of us and our setting.
On top of his technical skills, Cory is just a genuinely kind and friendly person. He was easy to communicate with, always ready to listen to our ideas, and brought such a calm energy to both our engagement and wedding days. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture these special moments.

If you want to relive every single moment from your wedding day for years to come, then go with Cory as your photographer! Our pictures were so amazing, it was almost impossible to pick which ones we wanted to print and share. We have them hanging all over our house, and every time we look at them it brings us right back to every precious moment. ! From getting ready to our first look to our formals (that were so raw and real they didn't even feel formal) to the ceremony and dance floor and all the candids in between, Cory's eye and attention to detail is unmatched. Even people that weren't at the wedding have said they felt like they were there because of how great our photos came out. We could not be happier!
Cory was also VERY patient with us when we were most definitely behind schedule and made sure that we still got all the shots we wanted and needed. We could not have asked for a better experience. Don't think twice about it, go with Cory! You will not be disappointed. -

Cory was the most knowledgeable and professional photographer I have ever worked with. The portraits he took of us are gorgeous and both our engagement and wedding photos came out beautifully. The photos were not over edited and very natural. He has a very fast turn around time. I have zero complaints. I will 100% use him again in the future.Weddings by Cory Fontenot's reply:

Absolutely Brilliant!
We hired Cory from out of state in the comfort of our home over the phone/email . From start to finish Cory was very professional, he made talking through pricing easy to understand and was very helpful navigating us through a schedule that was time/light sensitive in a city we love but don't call home. We didn't even think about some of the things Cory recommended, and we are so glad he spoke up when we were blindly bouncing ideas around. On our wedding day plans had to change last minute due to weather but Cory made sure we both remained calm and in the loop on his ideas, it was so reassuring to know that Cory had thought through our wedding day and planned for back up ideas in case of rain, things we foolishly didn’t even consider. He recommended a beautiful bar around the corner of our venue where he captured some incredible pre wedding candid moments between friends and family. Cory took some stunning photos of us walking and posing through the streets of the French Quarter, he made us feel so comfortable and relaxed in-front of the camera in a chaotic environment. During the second line Cory went above and beyond even making sure the lights from the police escort weren't too close so our pictures wouldn't be covered in flashes of red and blue lighting, he was always thinking ahead. Throughout the evening Cory seemed to be everywhere without being in sight, the photos of us and our guests are amazing and just so beautifully shot. He managed to capture what we can only describe as pure love and happiness in our photos. We loved having Cory be a part of our day and are so thankful for his professional and easy to work with personality. He some how manages to stay cool, calm and collected whilst being so excited and hyped for everything. This is just one of many things that we feel sets him apart from other photographers who just show up and do the job, Cory showed up ready to create memories and beautiful artistic images. Exceeded already high expectations
Cory's body of work is spectacular! Needles to say, I had super high expectations going into our Wedding. I cannot express enough how thorough, and detail oriented Cory was throughout the entire process. He took all the guess work and stress out of the whole process, made sure we weren't worrying about anything, and was super attentive to both of our families. I'm also a photographer, and there was one point in the process where I slipped into the motions of telling people where to go and Cory politely stopped me and took it all out of my hands. From that moment on, I knew he had everything under control. His artistry shines through all of our images and he far exceeded all of our already high expectations. -

When planning our wedding, my husband and I made a list of our top three wedding priorities, and at the top of both of our lists was a good photographer. We chose Cory James Photo and ended up with the BEST photographer. Cory is responsive, professional, and made me and my husband feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On top of all of this, he took the best, most flattering pictures of our wedding with a touch of artistry that only he can master. We will cherish these photos forever. -
