I met Candy through an internet search for a celebrant for our wedding. I was worried because I didn't have any recommendations, but her reviews were great, so we contacted her and it was the best thing we could have done! Candy is very organized, she welcomed us to plan together, gave us suggestions for places to have the ceremony and guided us from start to finish. Candice was such an amazing part of our special day. Scheduling our ceremony to be on the Maid of the Mist at Niagara Falls was tricky, since we live in Georgia!
Having Candice perform our wedding ceremony was truly a “Meant to Be“ thing. Sadly, the original Officiant we had chosen to do our ceremony passed away before our wedding date. That led us to find Candice, and she was absolutely perfect for us. We hit it off the very second that we met her. She was so much fun to be around, and did a beautiful job with our ceremony. On the boat, we were all getting completely soaked… And Cancice was such a fun and good sport about it. I think she was more drenched than any of us… But she was just laughing and having a great time. I would highly recommend having Candice be a part of your special day.

Candy is amazing! After a last minute cancellation by my planned officiant, I was frantic. Within 20 minutes, I had called/messaged 3 or 4 local officiants. Candy was the first person to answer. I'm so incredibly happy she responded so quickly. She is exceptional, professional, knowledgeable, kind, and calming. As you can imagine, this last minute shake up had me frazzled. Her experience ensured me that everything was going to go without a hitch. Words cannot express how grateful I am that she stepped up for me in such a short period of time and guided me on making sure I had everything done I needed to before the Wedding Day. When my (now) husband and I were searching for an officiant, we only had two things in mind: finding someone who had experience and would perform our marriage ceremony with love. The best officiant!!!
Candy was a great officiant and made our day very special. Candy actually filled in for our original officiant due to circumstances out of his control, and I think that this says a lot about Candy because she was able to perform the ceremony last minute and it went flawlessly. Plus to fill in for someone else last minute the way that she did was very kind of her. We were married in Niagara Falls in the water on the Maid of Mist and the moment felt magical and sincere. Candy helped make that happen and both my husband and I are so grateful for her service. She even snapped my favorite photos from her iPhone. Thank you Candy for everything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND CANDY. We originally had our wedding scheduled for November but had to cancel due to snow storm. She was very accomdating and calming when I was upset. She made herself available for our reschedule without any issues. Candy sent us a copy of the vows she prepared for us to approve well in advance, and I could not have been happier with our ceremony. We wanted a shorter ceremony and she gave us exactly what we asked for. She was truly amazing dealing with our nerves, the ceremony and signing of the license. We were very happy she had the date available & was willing to travel to our home from hers, which is appx an hour each way. I was a bit nervous on my wedding day! Candace quickly put me at ease. She assured me that’s not unusual & all would be fine & it was! The ceremony was perfect!

The perfect addition to our day
Candice performed my friends wedding ceremony 2 years ago and when I got engaged I knew exactly who to call for our own special day. She was fabulous, quick to respond and made sure to make our vows special for us, even going so far as to add a dedication to our daughter. I reached out to Candice and after speaking with her for a few minutes, I knew she was exactly who I wanted to officiate our wedding. She was extremely kind, responsive, and easy going. Amazing Maid of the Mist wedding
Candice was so amazing! My wife and I planned a last minute wedding in Niagara falls on the Maid of the mist. When I emailed Candice about her availability she quickly responded , and informed me that she had experience with weddings on the boat. My wife and I are not religious at all so she wrote up a beautiful non binary type ceremony as well as our vows, she was so nice and helped us through the whole process and made it quick and painless.

Couldn’t have been any better!
Our marriage ended up being more of an elopement after many of our timeline goals weren’t successful. Candy not only came to us but was flexible with the time and place and even agreed to marry us on a holiday. Typically nothing was going as planned for us, we were ready for the even part of a wedding so that changed, we decided to just elope and then couldn’t decide on a witness as we didn’t want to leave anyone out or offend anyone so candy provided us with a witness less than a day before the ceremony. She was on time, professional, patient, understanding, helpful, knowledgeable and very kind. Once we have a moment to plan a proper wedding with our friends and family we will have her again! Candy was amazing. The pandemic put a lot of changes on our wedding but our officiant was amazing in every way! She stayed in contact with us throughout our (many) re- planning stages, and had the perk of having officiated at hayloft before!
She is a perfect mixture of professional and comfortable which makes you feel like you’re talking to someone you have known for years.
She is prepared, she is reasonably priced, she gives your wedding that extra spark, and even had a cool mask for the ceremony!!!

Totally original and so fun!
Candice was so flexible through our COVID wedding and really helped us make our ceremony what we wanted. We chose to have a non-religious ceremony, but she made it meaningful by including symbolism and paying respects to those we have lost. We each wrote our own vows that she incorporated into the ceremony. On the actual day, she brought humor and lightness and truly made our ceremony feel that it was designed with us in mind.

Candy was great to work with. Within a week of hiring her she sent me a draft of the wedding ceremony and was receptive to the changes I wanted to make. I would also suggest getting her for your rehearsal. When she came to our rehearsal she gave great directions and made us feel very at ease about the ceremony itself. I wanted my ceremony (it was small one) somewhere in the nature which she helped me a lot by sending the map and recommending some nice spots. On the day of ceremony I changed my mind (because of some personal reasons) to have the ceremony some where else(very last minute) , I informed Candice like two hours before the ceremony and she kindly accepted that which I am greatly appreciate for that. Also, she helped me a lot for writing the vow and let us customize it (actually I kept it the way she wrote because both of us liked it).
She was on time and lead the process really smoothly. I cannot be happier with the experience and we definitely recommend Candice to every couples.

Candice was timely, professional, friendly and performed our ceremony on the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls without flaw. Her father Norm was our witness and kindly taped the whole thing on our phone. Candice was so great! We had a very laid back small wedding and it was last minute. She worked with us to make our plans work! She was very responsive and proactive. We had a great ceremony because of her!

Candy did an excellent job as the officiant of our wedding ceremony. She provided thoughtful communication, as well as ideas and guidance throughout the process. She was completely flexible and accommodating with our choice of location (Fort Niagara) and performed the ceremony with care and professionalism. We got married in Niagara Falls-American side and the weather was super cold. We were so lucky to find Candy to be our officiant. Candy exceeded all of our expectations for our short notice ceremony. Our ceremony was short and sweet - just what we wanted. Our friends were amazed with her patience, while everyone was late she stayed calm and kept her sense of humor so we did not feel bad about anything. She sent us what she was panning to say and we was more than welcomed to add our story to it and make it more personal. Candy was very responsive and she was a great part of the ceremony. she made our ceremony so special and memorable with. I highly recommend her to everyone who wants to enjoy their ceremony!!!
