My husband and I are from Illinois, and chose to elope in Florida. We thought it would be difficult to find an officiant just through a quick online search, but it didn't take long to find Bonnie given the amount of already amazing reviews she had on the Knot. We reached out and from the moment we hung up the phone with Bonnie, we knew she was meant to be our officiant.
Aside from the ceremony, Bonnie was incredibly thoughtful. We were set to marry on September 30th, 2024, just days after Hurricane Helene. However, from watching the news, we made the hard decision to postpone our wedding to November. No words can describe how positive Bonnie was through the whole process. She was so optimistic that she made it feel like that was what was meant to be, and we truly believe that now. The day was worth waiting for and her ceremony did not disappoint!
Her kindness, warmth, and overall genuine passion for celebrating love made our wedding day truly unforgettable. Not only did she take the time to understand our love story through a very well thought out questionnaire, but she also crafted a beautiful ceremony that felt perfectly tailored to us. We felt as if we had known her for years before by the way she had pieced words and stories together. Every word resonated with us so deeply, and her ceremony was just as memorable as the vows we wrote to each other. My husband and I have continually mentioned Bonnie being the best person to fulfill this position and we RAVE about her to everyone and don’t think our elopement would have been as perfect as it was without her. She has even reached out multiple times AFTER our ceremony showing that she has truly cared for us before, during and after. She is an amazing person to have a part of a wedding day if you want someone that truly puts their entire heart into your day. -

She took the time to create a ceremony that felt personal and authentic, and it ended up being one of our favorite parts of the entire wedding day.
So many of our family and friends commented afterward about how beautiful and meaningful the ceremony was. Bonnie struck the perfect balance of heartfelt, lighthearted, and personal. There were laughs, happy tears, and it truly felt like "us."

If you arre looking to get married in Bradenton, Saratosa or Anna Maria island, looked no further than engaging Bonnie Sanchez. She was very efficient and informative from the very first time we reached out to her. She made the whole process seemlesly (we are from Australlia) and she have us lots of tips, recommended vendors, and reply to all our questions. We have a zoom conversation with her to go over some questionnaire she has previously sent us, and she put together the whole brief for the ceremony- we were able to choose our wedding vows, poems and she was the warmest and authentic person on the day of our wedding. She was also open to storing our suitcases (the airline lost them for 7 days) at her place while we arrived in Florida . So nice of her! -

Bonnie has a beautiful way with words
Bonnie created the most beautiful ceremony for me and my husband. We interviewed several officiants in the Tampa Bay Area for our November 2023 wedding and was by far the most responsive and caring officiant we got to know. She asked us questions about how we met in order to share our story for our ceremony. Our friend and family were teary during our ceremony especially during the vows.

When I say Bonnie knocked it put of the park… I truly mean it. She was wonderful and so helpful from day one. There was always open communication and she strived to get to know us to create a unique and personal ceremony for us. We have only the most beautiful words regarding Bonnie and the wonderful ceremony she so kindly crafted for us. During our first chat with her, it became very quickly apparent how positive, easygoing and attentive Bonnie was. She answered every annoying question I asked 😉! She took away, every big or small concern.
We connected right away and I decided that very Moment, that she would be the one, our wedding officiant. Bonnie gathered so many important details about us, our families, and our love for each other that she weaved into her speech. She hit every single point and even I was surprised to remember we told her certain facts! Our friends was amazed by her too and surprised that we just met once before the big day! THAT is how good she is at connecting with her couples and sharing in their joy for an event as special as a wedding renewal! It felt like we had known Bonnie forever.
Even a one year delay (because of personal setbacks), couldn’t stop Bonnie to stand by our site and keep the connection! She went above and beyond for us and gifted us with THE Vow Renewal of our dreams!

She does not use templates or shortcuts - she writes personalized scripts from scratch based on YOUR UNIQUE story. She's completely thoughtful of us as a couple but also of our guests. We cannot tell you how many people came up to us after the ceremony to tell us what an amazing officiant Bonnie is and how some have NEVER heard such a great speech during a ceremony. There was not a dry eye at the ceremony. She already has a process in place to ensure you get the best ceremony pictures and how to get your guests engaged. Bonnie is an AMAZING OFFICIANT!! When we first contracted with her, she sent questionnaires to my new husband and me, along with samples of readings and vows, and then she used our responses to create a beautiful story of our relationship leading up to the wedding. It was a lovely departure from the usual "I do, you do, repeat after me," I've seen at so many weddings; the ceremony was unique to us and that made it so very special. Bonnie was beautifully dressed in colors that coordinated with our wedding colors, and she's just a lovely person inside and out! Anyone would be lucky to have her officiate at their wedding!!! -

Bonnie is far above and beyond! Hurricane wedding! Must read!
I am the Mother of the Bride, my daughter's wedding was set for
10-2-2022, location was to be Southwest Coast, FLORIDA.. as everyone knows, Hurricane Ian one of the most destructive and deadly hurricanes which hit just 4 days before and directly hit where the venue was, Bonnie also lives in the path of that storm as we do and the grooms parents did too.. needless to say, the wedding day would not happen due to the major destruction caused by the storm, and all of us where majorly effected by the storm too. my daughter decided she did not want to wait possibly another year and plan again, so she decided she wanted to get married at my home the very next Saturday.. and so under a week, just getting power back so we did in 4 days.. planned, unplanned and then replanned a wedding on my property.. we knew Bonnie was the most crucial person we needed to do this. Bonnie said yes she will make it happen.. she will come to my home 2 plus hours away.. as many roads directly to get here where closed and flooded and more.. so it was no easy or direct way to get here.. but she agreed!
Bonnie had to drive through a majorly destructive path to come to us. Bonnie is not only an incredible speaker but she truly cares! Everyone at the wedding raved about her and how terrific and amazing she Officiated the ceremony! Bonnie is witty, caring, thoughtful, knowledgeable, extremely well spoken and a touch of fun and funny too!! she even drove our photographer here who's home suffered major damage. she kept in constant contact, gave important advice and guidance too, before and after the wedding. even down to the email she sent myself and my daughter with every detail for the official documents, name change and every other important things to be sure to change name and how and what to do! BONNIE WENT ABOVE AND WAY BEOYND! Bonnie truly made my daughter's wedding Perfect! The Ceremony beautiful because of Bonnie!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Bonnie!! wish I could give her 50 stars!! -

Weddings by Bonnie: Bonnie Sanchez was the best officiant I could have ever hired. She made the most BEAUTIFUL speech for us. There was not a dry eye in the crowd. Including me! I think the only person that may not be happy with her is my makeup hgirl who had to keep Fixing my post crying face repeatedly 😂 She perfectly encaptured our relationship and went off of the crowd and us and adjusted accordingly. Throughout the run up to our wedding and even afterwards Bonnie shared information, uplifting messages and did everything to ensure we got to the finish line happy, stress-free and with marriage license in hand :-). We had guests from all over the world and everyone commented about how beautiful the ceremony was, how Bonnie made everyone feel connected and welcome and what a wonderful officiant we had. Bonnie has guided us throughout the entire process in a very good way. Living in Sweden and planning for our wedding from remote could be very difficult, but with the support from Bonnie we were very confident. Not only did she help with the ceremony, but also with some logistical challenges. As a person, Bonnie is a very positive, warm and easy-going person, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The ceremony she led was very nice, her words were very balanced and best of all was her ability to pick up our history and refer to it in a personal way. Vow Renewal for 20th Anniversary on AMI
Bonnie was simply amazing! We contacted her only a few days before our 20th Anniversary wanting to renew our vows in a very quiet, personal, and intimate ceremony with our adult children present! She was quick to respond, gave us many ideas and options, personalized our vows after some simple questions. We chose sunrise- and she was so sweet and gracious to meet us at 6:15 am for the most perfect view on the beach, which included a unity sand ceremony and seashell blessing at the end! We were more than happy with her services and she was so easy to work with! She provided some of the little extras that made everything perfect ! You won’t be disappointed if you call Bonnie! -

Nick and Bonnie work closely with us throughout the entire process. Nick served as our officiant during the ceremony. It was all that we could have hope for. They were super helpful and informative all along the way, they made sure they understood exactly what we wanted, but also provided ideas and suggestions which we found extremely useful and valuable. Nick has a way about him that shined through on the day of our wedding - he is warm and calm, loving and positive. I have to say that I love Nick's subtle accent and his caring delivery. We were recommended to Bonnie by my maid of honor after she officiated her wedding. As soon as we spoke on the phone with her we knew she was the one! Not only is she the absolute sweetest person ever, but so experienced and passionate about what she does that she made us even more excited for the day. We are both non-religious and she was so helpful in crafting a ceremony that was uniquely "us." She took the time to listen and get to know who we are as a couple. We were planning a destination wedding as well and she helped us get all the information we needed to file a marriage license in Florida.
She was so understanding and accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding because of Covid.
When the day finally came she was absolutely amazing! I was the most nervous about the ceremony because I'm terrified of public speaking, but she made it so easy and comfortable for us both! She was great with our family and even incorporated our dog into the ceremony. We've gotten so many compliments on how special our ceremony was and I credit her for all of it!

I’m not your typical bride, and our wedding was… out of the box. Every detail was customized to fit our personality- love of travel, history, and glamorous accents of romance abound. We had a unique vision for our ceremony and interviewed quite a few officiants, but the moment we talked to Bonnie we KNEW she was the perfect one to marry us. Bonnie is exceptional at what she does and will do everything she can to help make your wedding as beautiful as you would hope it to be. She knows how to help alleviate any nervousness at the altar, but remains professional and devoted to providing you a stellar service throughout the entire process. She deserves this rating hands down and was an absolute highlight for our wedding if you were to put her alongside the other venders we hired. When we first met, she really took her time to get to know us, she was extremely polite and receptive to any requests we might have had...and she is really interested and invested in your individual love story to ensure she provides a service she herself would be proud of if it were her own. Bonnie is the best! She is a professional yet also warm and truly cares about your love story! She guides you through the entire process & helps you feel comfortable with the steps of the ceremony. I was not nervous for my ceremony because of Bonnie’s guidance. Our ceremony was beautiful & heartfelt and my guests asked me if Bonnie was part of the family! :) There is no one else I would have wanted as my officiant and that in fact was the first thing I selected as it’s so important for the ceremony!
