Deborah delivered a beautiful ceremony for our wedding on June 7. She was very responsive to all of our messages and you could see that she takes the time to make your ceremony very meaningful and personal for us. She was on time and prepared on the day of our wedding. She collected the marriage license from us before the ceremony and explained the next steps were. She was very prepared and spoke very clear and loud for everyone to hear. We loved the keepsake we received so that we can always go back and look at the wonderful words she used to describe us on our wedding day and for the future. It was a 10/10 for us and we would most definitely recommend her to anyone we know getting married! -

We had a Marriage Ceremony between my husband and I and a Sand Ceremony with our children. Deborah Hansen made our ceremonies the absolute pinnacle of our wedding! Each were uniquely written and performed by Deborah. She was extremely professional and organized throughout the whole process. She gave us a worksheet to build on, so you know where to start. This allows her to get to know the two of you and your relationship better, as well as ask what you want and don’t want during your ceremony. She wrote us a first draft and after a few edits, she sent us a second draft. We are not religious but rather wanted our ceremony to reflect on our relationship, our 4 children we’ve raised together and the life we’ve built together over the last 8 years. On our wedding website, I wrote about how we met, how our relationship and family has grown and where we are now. She used several things I said in our ceremony. It was perfect! The best man was crying the whole time, and I tried my best not to look at him, so I didn’t start bawling myself! He even said later that he had been a groomsman at several weddings but had never experienced an actual transference and joining of souls like he did during our ceremony. Deborah had a lot to do with that. The Sand Ceremony, blending our families together was beautiful. I thought it was the perfect way to unite my daughter and I with my husband and his 3 children. If you ask them, I’ve always been their Mom and he’s always been her Dad but it was the perfect way to make it all official. We cannot say enough good things about Deborah and the beautiful way she united us. You will not be disappointed!
Just a side note for those of you wondering... Deborah did a great job submitting all the paperwork in a timely manner because after the ceremonies on Saturday, June 8th, we had our marriage certificate the next Monday, June 17th. -

Deborah was a fantastic officiant. Very well prepared and super kind. It was just my wife and I in our child and she made it the most special moment for us. We were unfamiliar with the area so she was very flexible in helping us find a place on the beach that would be quiet and quaint. 10 out of 10 recommend. -

Deborah was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was very accommodating, very understanding, and non-judgemental. She helped us to come up with a beautiful, personalized ceremony that was exactly what we had in mind. She even made us a binder with the entire ceremony printed out on nice paper so we could have it forever. Absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a unique ceremony! -

Deborah was so wonderful to work with!!! She sent us various templates for our ceremony to help us get started and she took care of the rest once she had our preferences. One of our family members told us that she had approached Deborah following the ceremony to tell her it was the most beautiful one she had ever heard!! Deborah took care of the marriage license for us, attended our rehearsal AND even gave us a binder with a beautiful printout of the script from the ceremony!! What a great keepsake for us to have. -

She is extraordinary!
She is extraordinary in customizing the ceremony to perfectly reflect what naturally suits the couple, quick to respond (which is critical for an anxious bride) and simply lovely!
First off let’s start with, we called Deborah last minute and she didn’t even bat an eye. She completely made the ceremony planning simple, easy and stress free. She arrived prompt, well organized, and eased the nervous bride and groom by individually chatting about the order of events with them. She also reminded the couple, how special a home wedding is, to really relax and take in this moment, and did not rush the couple one bit. Removing the rushing feeling for a bride is huge in her being able to clear her mind and be present in the actual moment! Thank You Deb for being so kind, professional, and for bringing your sweet energy to my Son and new Daughters special day! We are grateful for you! -

If anyone is looking for a wedding officiant. Look no further. I highly recommend Deborah Fairchild Hansen with Weddings and More.
Let’s see, where to start. First she was very responsive to my inquiry. From then on she stayed in touch via email. Asked questions to learn more about us. Sent suggestions of vows, then made them personal to fit us. On the day of our beach wedding, she arrived early and waited on us. She was so very kind and patient, as we found which spot to have the ceremony. Deborah is very easy to communicate with and felt like an instant friend. We was also presented a beautiful print of our vows in a binder.
Since the wedding I learned she loves writing, which is why we chose her vow suggestion over writing our own. The words were beautiful before she added a personal touch to fit us. Then it was perfect.

Deborah delivered a beautiful ceremony at our wedding on March 2. She always responded to my messages quickly from my first inquiry, up until the wedding. My communication was less than stellar, but she was proactive and made sure we had what we needed for the ceremony. We liked the ceremony she initially sent us, and we also liked that she worked with us to make the changes that we wanted. We chose a non-religious ceremony and she was able to provide us with that. We chose to write our own vows, but she did offer help with writing/editing. She was on time and prepared. She collected the marriage license from us before the ceremony and explained what the next steps would be. She spoke very clearly and projected her voice during the ceremony so that everyone could hear her without the use of a mic. Although we only met Deborah moments before the ceremony, she did not seem like a stranger. We love the sweet keepsake we received at the end of the ceremony too. Our marriage license/certificate was in our mailbox when we got back from our honeymoon, so she handled it on her end promptly. 10/10 would most definitely hire again and will definitely recommend her to anyone we know getting married! -

Deborah was the perfect officiant! She asked us what we would like for the ceremony, and made it romantic and found ways to include my daughter, but still keep my husband as I the focus. There was not a dry eye at the ceremony. She even offered to help with bow writing! Professional and organized, I was so glad to have her as our officiant :) -

She was very timely and quick to respond and help. At our rehearsal Deborah got there early and she gave us the run down from the on what we were doing from the venue coordinator.
