A beautiful touch to our wedding day

Jill’s team was absolutely wonderful! They provided a beautiful touch to our perfect wedding day and made our ceremony feel even more magical. Jill worked with us to ensure they were able to play specific songs we requested that were not previously in her collection and she was extremely easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend booking Jill for your big day!

Beautiful Outdoor Wedding Ceremony Music

Jill and her Trio played beautifully at our wedding. She provided services exactly as described and the guests spoke so highly of them. They were worth every penny. They created a beautiful playlist for our outdoor ceremony based on our preferences.

Amazing String Quartet for our Wedding!

Jill and her string quartet were an absolutely wonderful addition to our wedding. Jill was a pleasure to work with and was always flexible. No detail was overlooked. Our day went flawlessly and we could not have had a better experience. We received many compliments from our guests about the quartet. We highly recommend!

Beautiful wedding ceremony

It was so easy working with Jill! She has a long and diverse list of music to choose from and everything came together so seamlessly. Our ceremony turned out beautifully thanks to Jill and her team! She also has the best pricing in Columbus.

Absolutely THE best!!!!!

Jill was very good at communicating, even with changes I would make based off of my indecisiveness! The music was absolutely beautiful and many of my guests talked about how even more emotional it had made my ceremony, just by listening to them perform. My only regret is not having them there the whole night for the reception as well! They were the best part of my ceremony other than my husband!

Would definitely recommend!

Jill was amazing to work with and always very communicative! She sent a two musicians for my wedding ceremony, one played violin and the other, a cello. Everyone complemented the music and I thought it added such a nice touch to our ceremony! Leading up to the event Jill was very open to any song suggestions but she already has a ton on her list to choose from. Overall, I would definitely recommend her to anybody!

Wedding Wish

One of the items on my daughter’s wish list was to have a string quartet play at her wedding. A friend recommended Jill Crist. Jill is a true professional and made the process very easy. Her experience and flexibility with performing at weddings/events (no matter what the weather) was a blessing. The string music was so beautiful and truly gave my daughter’s wedding an elegant touch. My guests commented on how wonderful it was to listen to live classical music during the seating and ceremony and how cool it was to hear modern music played on strings during the cocktail hour.

The Quartet’s repertoire is huge and if there is a piece that you don’t see on the list, Jill Crist can find it for you. It really was a gift to just send Jill a list of music my daughter chose, and have her create a seamless playlist that flowed beautifully from one song to the next. I cannot thank Jill and the Bryden String Quartet enough for fulfilling my daughter’s wedding wish and making her day so memorable.

P.S. I have a younger daughter and I am looking forward to working with Jill Crist again to plan her wedding music.

Amazing Cello and Violin duo for my daughter's wedding!

Jill was amazing to work with! Super responsive and flexible. We wanted more contemporary music for my daughter's wedding. Jill has an amazing repertoire and was even able to get the sheet music for 2 special requests. We had a cello and violin duo and the music was just wonderful. It added such a nice touch to the ceremony! You will not be disappointed if you have Jill & her team at your event!

Excellent players! Perfect experience!

I have a masters degree in music and my husband has a doctorate degree in music, and we were very happy with the quality of musical performance by this group!!!! Everything about our experience was excellent and easy! The string quartet performance was one if my favorite parts if this wedding! Highly recommended!

Amazingly beautiful music & amazing people!

Jill was a pleasure to have as our cellist at COVID wedding #1 in 2020, I immediately booked her for the 2021 wedding, and she coordinated a trio for us for July 31st, 2021! Her team was professional and their music was absolutely beautiful for the cocktail hour! And to top if off, not only are they talented but they are all nice people!!

Talented cellist, great price!

Jill was fantastic at our wedding! We had to reschedule a couple times because of COVID restrictions and she was very understanding and accommodating throughout the whole process. She played all the songs we requested and I can't recommend her enough for your big day, too!

Jill was great at communicating with us prior to our wedding, and the music was exactly what we had hoped for! She made sure we had all the songs that we wanted, made it easy for us to add one that wasn’t in her current repertoire. Amazing String Trio!

Jill was very easy to work with and was extremely responsive. She is very talented and was able to arrange an amazing string trio for our wedding day (outdoor ceremony and outdoor cocktail hour). Beautiful music from the two of them, made my daughter’s wedding ceremony perfect!

Awesome to work with

Jill performed as a soloist for a very small pop-up wedding in the park. Her performing was a surprise for the couple, and even with short notice and with very little planning in advance of the ceremony she was able to play everything asked of her and was a complete professional throughout. Sounded great, and she helped make the day extra special for everyone in attendance. Would highly recommend.

Dream come true!!!

Jill and her musicians were absolutely incredible! Jill was an absolute pleasure to work with and the music was beautiful it definitely classed up our small park wedding. Her and her trio even went above and beyond for us and learned one of my favorite metal songs for our wedding. Simply a dream cone true thanks so much!!!

Excellent!

We hired Jill to play at our smaller wedding. We had a cello/violin duet and it was lovely. With all of the hustle and bustle going on, sadly I did not get to hear a lot of the performance but what I did hear was exactly what we pictured. We had them play more modern pop songs and it was fun for all of the guest.

Regarding the performance, my aunt and uncle are both classical music professors/instructors at a university, and they even said they were impressed which is hard to do! Everyone commented that they loved the music and I think it really made our special day that much better.

Working with Jill leading up to the wedding was super easy. We were able to pick all of the songs we wanted and her communication throughout the process was great. Jill is professional, easy to work with and a great performer.

Jill Wright Crist was highly recommended to me by another professional musician who had also had the occasion to hire a string quartet. As a professional musician myself, I was nervous hiring musicians I had not heard before. However, given their strong recommendation, I had Jill's quartet play for my son's wedding which happened to be an outside venue. They did an amazing job! They added so much joy to this beautiful event with their very skilled musicianship. Their website was helpful as were their communications with me for the months leading up to the wedding. Jill Wright Crist delivered beautiful classical music for us throughout our wedding day. Her quartet performed during our ceremony at the Columbus Museum of Art, then came with us to M restaurant to continue playing throughout our multi-course tasting lunch. As part of the planning process, we requested a number of pieces that normally aren't part of their repertoire, including some instrumental renditions of some of our favorite opera pieces! Jill was very open to our suggestions, then set out to find the music and ensure the quartet could perform it. The result was a day filled with the music that my husband and I love, a perfect classical soundtrack to our day!

Jill was great to work with from the start. She was quick to respond and communicated very clearly. She was able to find or create sheet music for the special song we wanted for the processional with no trouble at all. We picked out some songs from their vast library and the quartet delivered them beautifully. They all blended right into the background while setting the tone for the ceremony we dreamed of. She was prompt, kind, professional, and reliable. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My husband and I had a cello (Jill) and violin duet for our outdoor ceremony followed by an indoor cocktail hour. They were amazing!! Jill even found a song I had requested that wasn't on the list she provided. I was a little nervous because I hadn't had the chance to meet them before the wedding, however, they were perfect. They're timing for the ceremony was spot on and it was everything I had imagined it would be! The duet really added a whole new dimension to the overall ambiance of the ceremony. The Wedding String Ensemble's costs are much more reasonable than several other companies I contacted. I would highly recommend the Wedding String Ensembles!!

Jill and her group went absolutely above and beyond for our wedding!!! I had some atypical song requests and they made it happen!! The music was gorgeous and all of the musicians were complete pros. Jill is a pleasure to work with and I would recommend her for any type of function, not just a wedding!!!!! With all of the details one has to worry about for a wedding (in this case) the music was not one of them. I knew Jill had this all under control!!

We chose Jill to perform our ceremony as a trio. We listened to her samples online and loved how well everyone played together vs 3 musicians who play well separately. We wanted to go with some non traditional wedding songs, Marry You by Bruno Mars and All You Need is Love by the Beatles. She said she could perform any music but may need to purchase the music. We were happy to hear they knew these two songs that were special for our ceremony. Their music was just as wonderful as we had anticipated and Jill was a pleasure to work with, she made the process stress free.

Jill Wright Crist did a beautiful job playing solo cello for our wedding ceremony. She was super flexible with many standard pieces to choose from, as well as an absolute willingness to write and play arrangements of "Hard Times Come Again No More" and the Plain White Tees "1, 2, 3, 4" for us. I would highly recommend her to play your wedding, you will not be disappointed.

Jill and Juan played during our ceremony processional and the ceremony. All of our guests complimented the ensemble about how wonderful the music made the atmosphere feel. I'm so happy we decided to go with live music instead of recorded. Jill was extremely helpful in choosing what pieces to play, as well. She is very knowledgable and worked well with me to make sure everything was absolutely perfect. Their pricing was also very reasonable. I would highly recommend them!

The trio we hired was exceptional. Jill was not only very easy to work with, but also helped us think of details we hadn't considered. She always responded quickly to my emails and was super nice to boot. The trios professionalism was second to none and we consider ourselves lucky to have found her.

Jill and i spoke a few times over the phone, then she and the cellist arrived at the wedding in a timely fashion, played impeccably and exited quietly. The music was sublime, she helped us pick out some of the songs and they were able to play the ones we asked for. Perfect.

Jill and her friend provided music for our ceremony as a cello/violin duo and they were on time and played the music we requested and were more affordable than some other musicians in the area that provide the same services. My fiance and I were on a budget and couldn't afford to spend whatever we wanted on wedding expenses. While we needed someone affordable, we also wanted to to find someone reliable and professional and talented and luckily we found that with Jill! I'd recommend her to anyone planning a wedding. On an otherwise stressful day, the music was one thing we didn't feel we had to stress about at all.

Wedding String Ensembles provided the ceremony music for our wedding at NorthBank Pavilion 4/19/13. They were great. The music was beautiful and our guests talked about it all night ! I would definitely recommend and use them again. I had them pick out the music (as this is their specialty) and this lifted some un-needed stress off our shoulders as well. I worked with Jill who was very responsive to e-mail and so easy to work with.

Great String Trio for the Ceremony

Jill and her group did a great job during our wedding ceremony. They were flexible the day of as weather delayed the ceremony as well as leading up with Covid-19.

Prior, Jill was very proactive in reaching out to make sure she had all the information regarding the ceremony.

Jill and the string quartet played at my Catholic wedding ceremony and they were amazing! She even coordinated with my vocalists to accompany them during the responsorial psalm and gospel verses. From what I heard, it sounded beautiful.
