Hire them for your big day!
I hired Emma and Billy for my big day in September 2023 and could not have been happier with my choice! Not only did I hire them for a few extra hours (which they were attentive the whole time) but the whole day also took place during a tropical storm forcing most of the day inside our venue. Emma and Billy still made sure to get all the shots and even made sure to get the specific shots that I requested. Also, when the storm let up, they even rain with me and my husband through the puddles to get some outside shots. They are a great team and made sure that we got everything we wanted out of our wedding day video coverage!

Amazing Videographers!
We could not have been happier with Billy and Emma. In the planning process, they were very fast to respond, great at answering questions, and offered a monthly payment plan which was a huge plus for us. Come wedding day, they were absolute perfection. Friendly, on time, and got the shots without ever being in the way or feeling too obtrusive of the guest/our experience as a couple. They are both incredibly kind, talented, and passionate about the work they do. The turnaround time for the videos was also incredibly fast, and there was no sacrifice on quality at all! We are obsessed with the highlights video, it perfectly captures our special day and also having our ceremony, reception, and first look videos are huge bonuses. My husband and I cannot recommend working with these folks enough! They are the best!!

Emma and Billy did an amazing job at capturing all the little details and sweet moments from our wedding day. We had never had professional photos done before this, but Emma and Billy knew just how to guide and explain to us how to do everything. We were so comfortable with them and had such a great experience. We chose to do first look photos and take some time to get most of our bride and groom photos done before the ceremony. That was so wonderful. It was most relaxed and intimate time we had all day and Emma and Billy caught every special moment between us. They also did a fabulous job organizing the family and friend photos so everything moved along effortlessly. They are very talented. The pictures came out AMAZING! We are so happy with them!! We used Wedding Photography and Films for our wedding and we couldn't recommend them more! Joshua was so easy and fun to work with. He had our 4-minute wedding highlight video and 1.5 hour video within 5 days of our wedding. They have been so fun to look at and relive our day and I am SO glad we opted for a videographer! Joshua is an absolute delight to work with. From our first initial Zoom meeting, in which he discusses the packages, expectations, etc., to the final product; his communication was always very prompt and personable. Joshua was everywhere he needed to be on our wedding day, but not "in the way" or over-bearing with a camera. Most times, I didn't even notice that he was there while he was capturing some of the most sacred and meaningful moments of our day. Joshua's company is such a cost effective option. You receive so much for the cost. I know that some couples must choose between a photographer or a videographer, but please try not to! They are both meaningful and essential in their own ways. Photos are absolutely wonderful, but a video captures voice, movement, and sets the tone of the day, so that you can relive it over and over. Photography and videography compliment one another. We are so pleased with our decision to work with Joshua. His communication and work ethic are superb. We loved the drone feature! The highlight reel gave us just a taste of what was in store and really summarized the day very well. Do not hesitate to book him for your videography needs. He was not just a vendor, but a special part of our day, and in the end, a friend.

I Could Afford It!
I originally did not think I would be able to afford a videographer. I reached out to Josh anyway and was surprised at his reasonable rates! I also got some discounts which made it so affordable I was so excited especially with his years of experience. We do not have enough nice things to say about the folks from Wedding Photography and Films - Joshua and Carole are pair of some of the finest folks in the wedding industry. The two were attentive to our needs, sensitive to the minute details, and very kind and helpful in the days leading up to, and including, the day of our wedding. High Quality and Efficient!
Josh and Carole are the best! For our wedding ceremony and reception they were able to capture all the big moments and efficiently take photos in between ceremony and reception without keeping us away from the party for too long. Carole made taking portraits with the family a breeze!
As a videographer myself, I give Josh the highest praise. Our ceremony was live-streamed so that friends and family who could not make it due to COVID-19 precautions were able to still watch. The next day we had a multi-cam edit of the ceremony. That’s a super fast turnaround! We had our 3:30 feature film edited and posted the week after and the reception highlights arrived very soon thereafter.
In just a little over a month we were given a very nice USB keepsake with all the best photos (over 600) and high quality digital copies of the videos.
Josh and Carole are pros and most definitely the best bang for the buck in the Roanoke area.

Wedding Photography and Films is a hidden gem!
Okay, maybe not hidden because Joshua books so far in advance but we are forever grateful to have found him (after a long search) to capture our special day! His booking process is so easy and his pre-payment plans makes paying for a wedding so much easier. When we booked Joshua in fall 2019, we had no idea we'd be postponing just a few months later because of COVID-19. Joshua worked with us to accommodate our new date, and though it didn't look like it would work out originally with two weddings scheduled for our new day, he was prepared to do whatever it took to get someone there to capture our day. Throughout the year of extra planning, Joshua responded fast to any questions we had and was there to give advice on our unique ideas. Come the wedding day, Joshua filmed the memories we'll cherish for a lifetime, but did so blended in and we nor our guests never once felt like he was right up in our faces. The morning after our wedding, Joshua had our feature film ready to share and our edited ceremony and reception highlights shortly after. A little more than a week after, our USB with all our footage was delivered. Talk about efficient! We can't thank Joshua enough for all the work he put into our special day and will recommend him over and over again! Book him now, you will not regret it!

Joshua did an amazing job with our wedding video. We were so pleased with the final outcome. But beyond that, we were just thankful to have him at our wedding because of his calming, reassuring nature. I think we reshot some parts of my letter to my husband 5+ times and he was so patient. From my first conversations with Josh, he was a complete joy to work with. He was responsive and his priority was capturing everything that my husband and I wanted. Despite the challenges with planning a wedding during the COVID pandemic, Josh was supportive and accommodating while we were faced with many unknowns. October 3rd came along and everything went off without a single hitch. We are so happy that we booked Josh as our wedding videographer. He captured memories that my family and I will cherish for a lifetime.

Amazing photographer & videographer couple!
Joshua and Carole are some of the kindest, warmest, and most responsive people that we have ever met! They were able to take on photographing our wedding pretty last minute due to an issue we had with the photographer we had previously booked, and we are so thankful that we were able to work with them instead. They were very responsive with any questions, concerns, photo ideas, etc. that we had. They are outstanding photographers/videographers and overall just great and genuine people. They truly care about every single one of the products they put out and their attention to detail is like no other. They helped us utilize every inch of our venue, and were able to create some awesome photos and videos that we will get to love and cherish forever!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Joshua and Wedding Photography and Films! We booked Joshua to video our wedding last summer but when COVID hit, he went above and beyond the terms of our contract. As soon as it was clear that the pandemic was affecting weddings, Joshua offered to livestream our ceremony for free! When we decided to delay the wedding by 5 weeks, Joshua didn’t even hesitate to shift dates even though it was on a holiday. Joshua went above and beyond for our wedding and we are thrilled with how everything turned out. He was very easy to work with and I felt comfortable in front of the camera. Not to mention we received all of our videos SO fast! I absolutely cannot recommend Joshua highly enough!

Wedding Day
Josh and Carole were extremely flexible and professional when dealing with our changes that had to be made due to COVID. They did a phenomenal job on our wedding highlight video, ceremony film, and the live stream of our ceremony as well. On top of all that, they had our edited videos back to us in less than 48 hours. Five stars all around!
We truly lucked out when we hired Joshua as a videographer. He was always quick to answer questions and offer suggestions. And then, COVID hit, and we were forced to postpone our wedding that was only three weeks away! Joshua was quick to offer support and to still cover our "micro" wedding though so we could capture our original vows. He also live streamed the ceremony for free so our friends and family could still watch! In addition, his wife Carole stepped in and photographed so we could have pictures of our original micro wedding. They both went above and beyond to make sure our day was still special! Five stars all around and would recommend hands down!!

Josh and his team are great! They did my wife and I’s wedding and the video turned out great! Josh is very down to earth and an easy person to talk to. He’ll go out of his way to make sure you’re properly accommodated. He flew the drone at our wedding free of cost! If your looking for a great videographer, Josh is the man! The prices are definitely reasonable.

Stunning, professional work and great to work with
We are extremely happy with our decision to hire Roanoke Wedding Video. All of the videos Josh put together were filmed and edited with care and excellence. The videos were extremely touching, and they perfectly captured everything from getting ready to the dancing at the reception. All of our favorite moments from the day are forever captured for us to revisit time and again. Josh and his team were wonderful to work with. He has years of experience and it shows in the quality of the videos he put together, the quick turnaround on our fully edited films, and the relationship he cared to build with us. On top of that, he was simply an extremely nice person. We highly recommend hiring a videographer for your wedding, and we undoubtedly recommend Roanoke Wedding Video to do the perfect job.

Wedding video!
Josh was amazing to work with! He captured everything during the ceremony beautifully, and the quality was wonderful! He had our usb stick with the video on it to us before we were back from our honeymoon! And the USB stick is super cute, it comes in a little box that says our wedding! I would recommend Josh to anyone! I’m so thankful I decided to go with him for our video!

Just have to say that Josh from Roanoke Wedding Video was AMAZING from start to finish. He made me feel so at ease about the entire day, he was helpful in getting everybody together and the short clips he showed us the day of our wedding looked so incredible. He even stayed an hour after our scheduled contract time just to be sure to get the video footage needed to make it that much more memorable. He was so accommodating and I can't thank him enough for helping in making our day that much more special! He gave us a wonderful cinematic video and it makes me cry every time I watch it! I would highly recommend Josh for a great wedding video experience.

Good wedding video
We really enjoyed Joshua and his wedding film. We had a small wedding in Vinton and the cinema video was simply amazing. He had used a drone, some sort of "floating" camera and for the ceremony four cameras.
I highly recommend booking with him and we even got a discount because Ginger bought her dress at The Brides House too. Well worth the price and two year after the wedding, we enjoy the film more than the photos.

Wonderul Film
Joshua and his assistant did a wonderful job with my daughters wedding in 2016 and we couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. He was there but hardly noticeable, the sound was great, the video shots were almost fluid like I guess is the term. We will be hiring him again for my sons wedding in 2020. Ladies, if you do anything at all, hire this guy, he is truly great at what he does and is worth every penny if not more.

Wonderful and Professional
Joshua filmed our wedding back in October 2018 and he is simply the best. Hes been filming for a really long time and hes there without being in your face. Many times we didn't even see him but he was getting shots for our cinematic film. The USB memory stick comes in a nice wooden case and the film makes me and my mom cry every time we watch it!
I love his pricing and his personality is great! I highly recommend him for your wedding!

Amazing Video vendor
Joshua is a great professional and he truly knows his stuff about the wedding industry. You can tell that he cares about his work and he was asking me and Jeff all sorts of questions about the wedding day. He went over the pricing and the way he would film our ceremony and created a nice game day plan for what he planned to do.
The video was simply wonderful, I love how he filmed us reading next to the windows and the filler video clips were amazing with the way he moved the camera.
We are truly pleased to say that Joshua was by far the best investment for our wedding, two years after we still love his work!

Professional, Friendly and Great Work
Since Josh and his crew had done my brother and sister In laws wedding 6 years ago (when he was Weddings in Roanoke) I knew I was going to have them do my wedding day! To this day I cry watching my brothers wedding video and I was so excited to get my wedding shot by them! Josh and his partner made everyone feel so comfortable and even helped with the “what to do’s” during the entire wedding from the getting ready process to the moment they left at the end of the night!
Weddings can be so stressful and to have Josh just help through out the whole process, exchange some laughs and smiles made my special day that much more enjoyable! He worked with my husband and I when we wanted to make some adjustments to our wedding video and the final product was exactly what we wanted!
He and his team do such a beautiful job and I can’t rant and rave enough about how amazing they are!!
