Professional and accessible
My husband and I couldn't have been happier with Linda's service today. We wanted to get married the same day we contacted her and she did not disappoint. She literally met us within the hour we requested and chose a cute location. She was so friendly, professional, and supportive of both of us. Her over 20 years of experience showed. It was a simple license signing so I chose a classic roadside café where two local gentlemen having lunch were our witnesses. Though this lovely couple will have a grand wedding with all the bells and whistles at an elegant venue in the future, it won’t outclass the warm and memorable moments legalizing their union that we shared together today.

A woodland chapel was the perfect setting for telling their story of how an adventurous friendship evolved into romance. Linda is just amazing! We wanted someone who would take the time to personalize our wedding ceremony, who would help it feel rooted in our religion in a way that wouldn't feel overbearing. She did just that! We had a short meeting to discuss our needs prior to booking, then signed a contract and provided payment. Soon thereafter we met with her over coffee to share our story, and she had a draft of the ceremony script done only a week or two later, that we were free to edit as needed. She was quite flexible as we changed the readings and order of ceremony events. We really felt like Linda listened and was interested in sharing a beautiful and true-to-ourselves story. Our marriage certificate was ready for pickup at the vital records office a week after the wedding, indicating that she'd put our license in the mail ASAP as she'd promised. Linda is such a kind, non-judgmental, and genuine person and I highly recommend if you're looking for a personalized ceremony and someone you can trust.Wedding Officiant NC's reply:
These two went to the same college at the same time and yet never crossed paths because it wasn’t yet their time. That moment would come a few years later when they both had moved to the Triangle. time with Eddy‘s mom and aunt before the ceremony, interpreting the script into Spanish so they would know what was going on. Nicole‘s parents were wonderful, too! The friends and family present created a wonderfully supportive atmosphere. The venue was super & the flowers incredible. Best of all was the loving glow that shone from the couple’s heart!

She sent us drafts of the script and it was perfect, she even took lyrics from our processional and first dance songs and incorporated them into her speech. Linda was a wonderful officiant! She was so helpful through the whole process from planning to day-of logistics and legal paperwork. She met with my fiance and me for an hour via Zoom and gathered enough information to write a beautiful ceremony. Several of our guests have told us how much they enjoyed the ceremony and how Linda captured our relationship - many thought we knew her beforehand, which we didn’t! When a last-minute hiccup made our planner miss our rehearsal, Linda stepped in to direct with skill and grace. She also made sure our marriage certificate was completed and mailed promptly. We began looking into officiants for our outdoor elopement due to our wedding being postponed because of COVID. We were going to have a friend marry us but Linda made it way better than I expected! She tailored our ceremony to reflect us and our humor and made it last longer without using religious influence like we requested. We planned everything over FaceTime and email and it was very easy! Since our original out of town wedding got cancelled due to Covid, we decided two and a half weeks before our original date to go ahead with a small local ceremony. I was stressed from other wedding planning details, but after meeting virtually with Linda to plan our ceremony, I felt so much better. She was friendly and helpful in planning a ceremony that we had in mind. She offered great suggestions where we needed them and was also open to ideas that we had in mind. Linda was incredible. At our first meeting to go over our ceremony details, she made us feel so comfortable and like she really wanted to get to know us and our story as a couple. This allowed her to write a ceremony that was unique to us, which was very important.
I was amazed at her attention to detail. She went step by step, not missing a beat, of how our ceremony would play out. That's how our ceremony went. Intimate, seamless, and emotional. Her words were beautiful and she spoke directly to us as a couple.

When you pick the person who will marry you, you want to find someone who you connect with, who will help you make the ceremony personal to you, /and/ your future spouse, /and/ your families, /and/ who will help you grow and learn through the process. It's a tall order, but we were so lucky to have found Linda to do all of those things with us!! Through every step in the process she was funny, kind, and patient, and worked beside us to create a unique ceremony from scratch that told our story and brought depth to our nuptials. During the get-to-know-you meeting with Linda, she asked questions that revealed parts of our story from my spouse's perspective that I'd never heard before, and that was priceless to me. Linda brought us closer together as a couple and tailored our ceremony to be exactly what we wanted. She brought some much needed humor during the rehearsal (I can still hear my mom laughing!), her smile was infectious, and she brought so much good energy to our wedding day. Lastly as a Latina I really craved an officiant who spoke and understood Spanish, especially for my family in the wedding who don't speak English, and Linda's experience brought so much meaning to my extended family because she was able to speak to them and prepare some words in Spanish for them.
