Iris was kind and we could tell she had a lot of experience. She made the day so special for us. We met her beforehand to select what she would say during the ceremony. Perfect Day
Iris was the perfect choice. Out of everyone that I researched I am confident that we found the best match for us. It went so well in fact, a friend asked how we found her.
From the first contact and throughout the whole process she was quick to respond. Her dedication to creating a moment that reflected our individual wants is something to be admired. I asked for some changes in her speech - I wanted to compare love to a train and include some classic song lyrics- and guys she nailed it. She was incredibly patient with my request. It was not silly, rather honest and thoughtful. I will always treasure her words spoken for us.

We hired Iris as the officiant for our Vows Renewal ceremony. We organized it as a wedding. Working with Iris was really smooth. We met 3 and a half months before the event to go over the plan and details. We re-connected a few days prior to the event. Iris worked very well with our planner. Everything was perfect on the day of. Iris has a vibrant personality, and we loved how she adapted to our multi-cultural needs, even saying a ew words in French. It was so special to see her get a little emotional during the exchange of our vows, which showed how she truly cares about the meaning of the ceremony and how authentic she is. Wedding Minister 1 was amazing!
I had the pleasure of working with Iris from Wedding Minister 1 for our wedding on October 12, 2024. Right from our first contact to the end of the ceremony, Iris was very professional and responsive yet also made it very personal by paying attention to my concerns and requests.
Unfortunately Iris was sick 2 days before the wedding so she couldn't perform the ceremony. However, she was prepared from the start and had other officiants who can step in to perform the ceremony in case of the unexpected events like this. She reached out to me as soon as possible to let me know the backup plan: Maria would be performing the ceremony in her place. Everything continued as planned after that. I am very pleased with the service that was provided and hope that she recovers soon!
I highly recommend Wedding Minister 1 as an officiant!

She had several choices for us to pick what to be said, so we didn’t have to stress over much at all. We were able to tailor the ceremony to our wishes exactly. Iris is an incredible officiant! We spoke to a few officiants for our wedding and when we spoke with Iris, we felt as if we had known her all of our life. She was so kind and open from the beginning. Professional and compassionate
Very empathetic to our situation and time restraints. Showed up early and was very professional. Brought a microphone just in case and she didn’t even need it as she knew how to project her voice beautifully so everyone could hear. Couldn't be happier
Professional, Responsive, Friendly and Flexible - qualities that you want and appreciate, and Iris meet our needs and guided us through the process. She provided multiple scripts to choose from and allowed us to customize our wedding and change the wording. The ceremony was custom made for us. We couldn't have been happier. She was early and when she got out of her car, she radiated warmth and trust. We knew we were in good hands. We had our wedding at Landsford Canal State Park and had already picked out the site for the ceremony. Everything went according to plan - and this was not a rehearsed wedding. We would definitely recommend her. Thanks Iris. You helped to make this such as special occasion.

Linda officiated our wedding and she was so wonderful! She made our guests laugh and cry with her readings. She is so flexible and will give you exactly the ceremony you want! We wanted a couple non-traditional things done during the ceremony and she created something specifically for us. We had a slight mishap with the wind during our ceremony and she played it off so well and just kept moving on. She was very helpful during the rehearsal as well! -

Linda was so kind and made a point to get to know us before our big day so that she could custom make our wedding script to fit us. My husband and I are both very sarcastic people, so Linda made a point to include some jokes and sarcasm just for us! We got many compliments about how wonderful she was. People were so surprised she wasn’t someone who had known us for years, but rather someone who we found on a wedding website and had shared just a few phone calls and emails with. She really did an exceptional job of making us feel heard, and delivering a very custom, very heartfelt wedding ceremony. We also really appreciated that she handled the part of delivering our marriage license to the register of deeds after our big day for us! -

Our wedding was on 5/14/22, and Iris made every moment of it perfect! She was incredibly responsive and SO helpful! She was open to answering any questions we had and shared her own thoughts and ideas, which we loved. My husband and most of his family are from Guatemala, so incorporating Spanish into our ceremony was very important to us. Iris did this in such a beautiful, touching way! Very accomodating
I was in need of an officiant to come to my home....marry my fiancee and I within a week...during a pandemic. Needless to say I wasn't sure what to expect...
I emailed Linda and she called me back instantly. I gave her my spill about the urgency of my situation and she said she would be there for us. This is my first time getting married and going through the motions so I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was, lol. When Linda showed up she informed that I needed 2 witnesses...not on Zoom...but in person to witness and sign the license for our ceremony. Linda came through with one witness (very thankful for her sweet spirit) and waited patiently while we came up with another witness.
She offered us different options in selecting the type of ceremony we wanted to experience. Her promptness and professional service made for a beautiful moment that my husband and I will never forget and be forever grateful.

My husband and I had great difficulty deciding on an officiate because we knew our desires for our ceremony were slightly unconventional. As soon as we met Linda, we knew that our worries were unfounded. She not only accepted our quirkiness, but embraced it and joined us in the fun. She will give you vows you desire, the ceremony you desire, and the experience you desire and she will do it with great enthusiasm and joy. She is incredibly easy to work with and accommodating, and everything about our ceremony was carried out beautifully and according to our own preferences. You can't go wrong by picking Linda to be your officiate. -

Victoria coordinated our ceremony, she was awesome; also last minute at our request, her and Iris helped coordinate our families to the reception. Our ceremony consisted of the candle and lasso traditions. Iris gave us the option to have our ceremony done in English and Spanish but we chose Spanish only. Iris met with us months before the wedding to go over how we wanted our ceremony done. She has a lot of different ceremony styles to chose from if you are not sure of what you want to include in your ceremony. They were both very caring and helpful and can you can tell they love what they do. They truly wish you happiness and love. No doubt they will make your special day the most amazing day. -

Sarah Sent on 09/17/2018I highly recommend A Beautiful Wedding to everyone and everyone looking for an officiant. Iris was more than an officiant but a friend. My wedding was suppose to take place this past weekend September 16th but Hurricane Florence had different plans. We decided the night of rehearsal to push our wedding day back to the end of Oct. Iris was more then happy to work with us on moving the date. I was so upset about losing my September date. After alittle talking and figuring out Iris invited me and my now husband with our two bestfriends into her home and married us on September 16th in her lovely kitchen. She will also be our minister on our wedding day for the wedding ceremony in front of our family and friends. We are so very grateful for everything so has done for us. My husband and I struggled the most with finding who would marry us. We are not very religious people and we also did not want to be married by a stranger. Iris was the first person we booked after being engaged. We spent several months talking back and forth so we would get to know us and we would feel like our vendors are like family and not just someone we found online.We also planned our wedding during the pandemic so questions about Covid came up. I was told if Iris was not available she would have another officiant perform the ceremony. We were able to customize our ceremony the way we wanted it. It was a beautiful day and beautiful ceremony and I’m thankful Iris was able to perform our ceremony.Wedding Minister 1's reply:

Highly Recommend!
Funny story, but I didn't actually get to "meet" Linda on our wedding day! We changed venues 3 times and Linda went to the 2nd venue. As I'm getting ready to walk down the isle, I realized she was not there. lol I called her and she came to the venue and we re-started without a hitch about 30 mins later. She left while we were taking pictures, and it was 3 weeks later that we actually met when she officiated another wedding for one of my friends! She did a beautiful job reading the ceremony we wrote, was very responsive to all of questions and requests, and the paperwork was a breeze. Definitely recommend Linda!! -
