Lisa was a lifesaver! My original florist was not able to provide my flowers at the last minute, and Lisa helped us out so much. She delivered beautiful Palmetto roses to my venue on the day of my wedding. We can't thank her enough!

Lisa did a wonderful job on the flowers for the ceremony and the reception. It was a huge help to have her be the day of coordinator as well. The flowers were stunning and even better than I had imagined!!

Such wonderful things to say about Lisa of Wedding Flowers by Lisa Ferguson. Lisa was not only very professional, but she was also very flexible and open to ideas. Each time I saw something I liked, I just emailed it to her and we tried to figure out if it would work. Lisa was open to each of my crazy ideas. She was very knowledgeable about local flowers as well as what would look good together.

Lisa also makes sweetgrass flowers/Palmetto rose, which we incorporated into my bouquet and the men wore as boutonnieres. They were perfect!!

Again, Lisa is very flexible and open to suggestions. I loved working with her and will do so again!

Lisa was FABULOUS!!!! She is so sweet and did an AMAZING job on our flowers (and there were a TON of them). I requested unusual flowers and she did a great job arranging the bouquets so that they were all original and interesting. My wedding was 2 weeks ago and we still have a few arrangements that look great. My family really enjoyed having a house full of beautiful flowers for thanksgiving dinner too! She made palmetto wreaths for the church gates which I love and am so glad to have for years to come. She did several huge arrangements, large arrangements for the dining tables, smaller arrangements on the cocktail tables as well as scattered throughout the reception site (I heard that there were even flowers in the bathrooms). I truly can't say enough good things and I received such a great value for the quality of work :)

Initially Lisa was very easy to work with but once the contract was done she acted annoyed any time that I had a question. I had orange gerber daisy's and palmetto roses for my bouquet and single orange gerber daisy's for the bridal party. I sent her swatches of my colors and asked that the stems of my bouquet be wrapped with ribbon in the turquoise color. I also specified that I did not want the gerber daisy's with dark (bronw/black) centers (I even sent a picture of the exact bouquet I wanted). The day of the wedding my bouquet was wrapped with a thin white ribbon and the gerbera daisy's had black centers. The mothers were supposed to get orange tulips. They got one single mini tulip and by the time of the wedding they were falling over. She also made palmetto rose wreaths for the doors of the church that I paid $80 each for and they were uneven. Really disappointing and sadley when the flowers are delivered 2 hours before the wedding not alot you can do about what you have.

    Very unprofessional

Lisa is extremely unprofesional. She did nothing that was stated in the contract. My flowers were the wrong color than what we decided in the beginning. She was rude and very impatient whenever I asked a question. All of this and she was late getting to the church with the flowers. She made my special day more stressful than it needed to be.

    White Washing for Profit

Don't create, lie, and profit from the cultural history of Palmetto Roses. You should be ashamed of yourself, and nobody should enable this level of cultural appropriation.

    Ripping off the Gullah geechee

She should be ashamed of the palmetto roses she’s trying to steal. She is a liar and a thief.

    Liar, cultural thief

Why are you lying about a gullah protected art form...
Why couldn't you just be honest and get the woven flowers from the people they are native to, and be honest about where they come from...
    Cultural appropriation at its worst

    Cultural Appropriation

This woman should be shamed and ostracized for cultural appropriation. Sweetgrass weaving is a protected art in Gullah culture.
