My husband and I hired Joel for our wedding in May last year. I came across one of Joel’s pieces when we were searching for a photographer and videographer. We had ONE conversation with Joel and we knew he was going to make our day magical. We hired him right after the call. His genuine excitement to be the one to capture our wedding day reassured us very early on that we had made the right choice.
Your wedding day is stressful and it’s important you do your research and choose your vendors. We had a combined Indian western wedding and Joel took the time to learn about every minute and every ceremony to ensure he could capture our special day, safe to say he did his homework. He calmed our nerves throughout the entire planning process and even more so on our wedding day. Being an international wedding he knew what we were up against. To tell you a bit about his character, before we left NJ he called us and said while things will go wrong, nothing else matters but me and my husband. An incredible gesture that reminded us to slow down and enjoy the journey.
Joel captured all three of our events, and at every event he brought his charismatic and calming energy. We had so much fun with him during our shoots.

Perfectly Captured Moments ❤️
Wedding Films Punta Cana is a great choice for a wedding photography and videography.
They covered our wedding in January, 2026, in Punta Cana. The booking process was seamless and professional.
They arrived on time (even a little earlier) and got some get-ready shots before the wedding started. Joel and Matteo were super nice and got the best shots ever! I don’t think any meaningful moments were missed. The turn around time was quicker than expected and the editing style is exquisite. (truly a chef’s kiss!)
Thank you guys so much for your services and capturing the moments of our wedding beautifully.

We hired Joel & his team for our destination wedding in Punta Cana. Everyone from this team was so lovely to work with throughout the entire process. They were able to work with my budget and provided everything I asked for and more! The photos and videos turned out beautifully and I am so happy to have these memories forever. -

We just had our wedding on April 19th 2024 and could not be more happy with our services we received from Joel and Ana with Wedding Films Punta Cana. When we first discovered this company we had a zoom call with the pair and immediately felt comfortable and confident in their abilities to execute our vision! They continued to follow up with us until wedding night making sure we were all on the same page. Joel and his team showed up promptly at the time scheduled and instantly went to work! My husband and I both felt so at ease with him filming us and made sure to get certain scenes we requested! We can not wait to see the full footage in a couple weeks once they work their magic! Could not recommend Joel and Wedding Films Punta Cana any more! -

I don't even know where to begin! First and foremost if you're considering hiring them, DO IT. Choosing Joel and Wedding Films Punta Cana was the best decision we ever made! Originally, we weren't sure if we were going to be able to fit videography in the budget and we are SO GLAD that we figured out how to because it was the best decision we ever made. We are obsessed with our videos!
Joel and his assistant were amazing. They made us feel so comfortable, met with us before the wedding, and had amazing communication both leading up to the day, during, and after. They were so professional, kind, and amazing to work with! They made the day even more fun, asking us to do certain things for some cool shots while we also got to have fun with it. I could not recommend them enough!
As for our video, it turned out BETTER than I ever could have expected. Our highlight video and sneak peaks were PERFECT. And the full video... just wow. I assumed it would just be unedited ceremony footage and speech but NOPE. An hour long edited video sharing the story of our perfect day. Simply incredible. My brother who is in within the filming business couldn't stop complimenting Joel and his team's work. There are no words to ever express how grateful we are to Joel and Wedding Films Punta Cana for giving us this beautiful video full of memories to look back on for a lifetime. It will forever be cherished! Thank you guys so much!!!! -

Please read this review in its entirety. After you read this review hire Wedding Films Punta Cana immediately and don’t look back. Joel, Davidson and their team are AMAZING !!!! They start you off with communication from a member of their team who is the absolute sweetest. She made us feel comfortable, was on standby for any questions and is accommodating for any situation.
Joel is a visionary! He takes his work seriously, he’s professional, and so kind. Even with my crazy bridesmaids he shared laughs with us and made sure he didn’t miss a moment. This team is so patient and so fun. You can literally be yourself around them. After our wedding we deemed Joel and Davidson apart of our family forever. We love those guys. I haven’t even seen our pictures yet but I know they’re going to be amazing.
Do not hesitate to hire these guys if you’re looking for photo and video. And tell them The Powell’s from Philly sent you. God bless those guys ! -
