Virginia was a fantastic videographer! She blended into our wedding day with ease in a very unobtrusive way that was still able to capture all the most meaningful moments. We initially weren't going to have her around for the prep the morning of the wedding but after her recommendation, paid for the extra hours and it was truly worth it for the final product both short clip and long film! She was very easy to work with prior to the day making all arrangements, transportation, paying, etc. The final product came quickly after the wedding and made us cry with how beautiful it was - especially considering my spouse's grandmother couldn't make it and this allowed her to see a bit of our day. Virginia was also very good about adhering to the rules of Catholic Churches and easily remade the DVD's for us when a meaningful part of mass had not made it into the 1st cut due to time and having too much good footage. I initially wasn't going to put videography into the budget (and honestly wound up spending more than intended) but I will say it is one of the best things we have now to relive our special day and worth every penny! We got enough copies of the footage that our parents can also have copies which makes everyone even happier.

MIA videography was just what I needed for my wedding. The team captured my day perfectly and were very professional. My video quality is amazaing as well. Overall, this company will not disappoint and I woukd definitely recommend to others. Thanks!

When we saw Virginia's videos online and got a quote from her I was pleasantly surprised to find that her price was significantly more reasonable than other vendors and the quality was just as good, arguably better. Watching our full wedding video, I was truly amazed at the quality I was witnessing. Everything is top notch -her talent, the equipment used and the editing. She is also a wonderful person to work with and responds to emails promptly. I would recommend her to all my friends.

Virginia did an amazing job with a very complicated traditional Indian/Pakistani wedding! She caught everything on video that we wanted from the ceremony to the small details at every event. The final video was exactly what I was looking for and I'm so happy with the final product. I highly recommend her! She is extremely professional and does her job well!

Mia Videos did an excellent job on both of our wedding ceremonies. The videos captured our big day and family/friends were impressed with the quality of the videos. The customer service we received was great, we were very impressed with their flexibility and willingness to work with us and our schedule changes. Mia Videos was probably the easiest decision about a vendor my husband and I made during the wedding planning process. This is a wonderful videography vendor and I will/do recommend them to any of our family and friends we know who are getting married in the Houston area. Virginia (the owner) is a pure joy to work with. She is so nice!! Moreover, she is incredibly professional yet flexible for her clients. I don't even need to get into the quality of her work. It speaks for its self. My husband and I just watched our videos and I literally felt like I was reliving our wedding day...tears and all! Virginia and her team captured a lot of details and special moments. And she has been doing this long enough to recommend ideal suggestions while filming. If you book Mia Video for your special day, you can be confident that your memories are in good hands.

Both my fiancé (how husband)and I have grandmothers that are in assisted living facilities so we knew they wouldn't be able to share this day with us in person. Now because of the video we have been able to share our day with them and they are so thankful. The video really captured who we are as people including clips of me joking with my father before the ceremony. My extended family was so impressed by the video and happy that I hadn't sent them a link that would take an hour of their time to watch that my cousin is now attempting to make her 1.5 hour video from another videographer into a 10 minute one. I can't say enough good things about the video. Every time I watch it I can't stop smiling and I know that will be the case for years to come. It was money well spent.

I love love love our wedding video! Vicky and Daniel were amazing!!! It was Daniel's birthday and he still came out and did an amazing job filming our wedding. Vicky made me feel so comfortable! They got such great footage and I don't even really remember seeing them :) They were professional yet super friendly! I hired MIA videos like 3 months before the wedding from 1200 miles away! I could not be happier! I wasn't going to even have a videographer, but I am so glad we ended up hiring MIA because the videos are stunning. We got our video within 3 weeks of the wedding which is great turn around time, especially during wedding season! Vicky was willing to go above and beyond to get us our videos and have them the way we wanted. DO NOT get married without having MIA capture the day, because they will get it all, even the stuff you missed!!!! Love you guys!!!! - Sonnee Stanley

We loved the service that Mia Productions provided! From start to finish the team at Mia Productions was a pleasure to work with. The team was prompt on our wedding day capturing amazing pre-wedding footage. When we received the finished product we were so pleased with how fantastic everything turned out. The video views like a movie and we couldn't have imagined that the quality would be so good. The HD filming really gives our video a quality that can't be beat. We are still in awe at how awesome our video turned out. We are so glad that we choose Mia Productions to capture our once in a lifetime event. They did not disappoint!!!

I called Vicky last minute about capturing my wedding- and lucky for me she was available on my wedding date!! I couldn’t have been more pleased with her service! She was ALWAYS quick to email me from her computer and her phone if I had any questions. She is VERY easy to talk to extremely lovely to work with! She and my photographer got along great too, no problems at all :) Vicky & Daniel worked so well together to capture every special & important memory for me and Craig. I am SO glad I will always have a video to look back on to bring back all my wedding memories! I love that Vicky works with you and creates the style of your choice – and she created the cinematic style for me. I enjoyed working with Vicky. I booked her for my wedding after meeting with her only once. Vicky showed professionalism and expertise in videography. Along with this, her pricing was great. She was committed to provide me with prompt and accurate service. With this being said, she was on time the day of my wedding. After the wedding was complete, she emailed me with updates about the completion of my video.

When we fisrt started to plan our wedding we were not going to have a videogrpher. After talking to several friends they all strongly encouraged it because the day goes by so fast!

I began shopping around and had several meetings with several different videographers. When I found MIA Productions I was so happy!! Vicky was so easy to work with, and was very proffessional throughout the entire planning process and through the Wedding Day!

We watched our video for the first just last night and we were blown away! There were so many things caught on camera that were priceless! The quality was outstanding and the entire video was just AWESOME we truly got to relive our special day!!

We were 100% pleased with MIA Productions and we would reccommend them to anyone!

MIA did an OUTSTANDING job for my wedding. They went out of their way to come super early to the hotel I was getting ready at and wait for my turn for hair and makeup just so they could have a shot of all the girls and myself getting ready. The video turned out excellent, everyone loves it. I am so glad I went with a videographer and with MIA because I felt Vicky did a better job capturing the key moments on video than my photographer did in the photos! Vicky is also great because she worked with us and our budget so we could get what we were looking for without overpaying. Totally worth the money and I would recommend MIA to anyone!!

Amazing videography company and I would use again. I love my video so much that I could do without a photographer is I had to choose between the two. You won't regret having a video of your wedding from MIA Videos!!

One of the biggest things that we loved about the videographers was that on our wedding day we never even noticed them, in a good way. My husband and I were not going to get a videographer at first, but my mother wanted to get it for us as a present. We came across MIA and thought it was a great value for the amount of time you get.
Vicky is very easy to work with, super friendly, and her work is great. My main complaint would be the amount of time it took for us to receive our video (almost 2 months), but that is probably because of the fact we ordered our DVD in blu-ray, which requires different encoding onto the DVD's. She did keep in touch with me stating the reasons for the delay of receiving our dvd, which I did appreciate. Other than that, great job! Thanks for capturing our memories of our big day!

We used MIA videos as our wedding videographer and we couldn't be happier. The quality of the video for the price can't be beat. Virginia was available and was quick to respond to emails. My overall impression was that - yes, the final product was pretty good, and they were on time for the event and stayed the whole time, but no, I did not get everything that I wanted, it took a long time, and I feel like we could have been more involved in the process.

The good: Very professional. Her team was very easy to work with on the big day. They caught a lot of important shots, and did a great job cutting and editing into watchable footage that wasn't 8 hours long. They camera quality was top notch, and she did provide digital copies of everything after I asked as well as some previews along the way. The quality is way beyond the competition - whom I interviewed before hiring MIA.

The bad: We were not able to be involved in the editing. I realize that there is some creativity that has to happen, but we would have like to suggest important scenes we wanted included or not included. In her defense, she did end up making some edits to the final video at our request. It took over 4 months to get the final video, and it was stressful for us. Again, in her defense, she had a complicated pregnancy, and was hospitalized for a while. Honestly, if that hadn't happened, I'm certain things would have gone more smoothly. Still, she should have just told us it would take another month or two - instead of "next week" - and we would have completely understood. Also, she never did the parent interviews, though we had specifically asked for them. She said they didn't have enough time, but we had booked 2 videographers for 7 hours and I'm not sure how much more time they would have needed. That's a big disappointment, and something we will never be able to replace.

Advice for couples: I would still recommend MIA Videos. I would advise that you be very specific about what is important to you - I likely didn't emphasize enough with all the goings-on. If you don't want Blu-Ray, let her know. And require that you get to "preview" the footage and make small changes.

MIA productions was on time and filmed lots of good coverage; however, the videographer continued to get in the way of the photographers shots and would not move. We also got our highlight video as our video footage and had to ask for the rest of the footage via email. I was happy with the footage after I sent an email asking for more from our wedding day.

***This is just a response to the review that MIA posted against mine. First of all our names are not Angela and David, which you can see why I was upset through the whole process. After the fact that she edited our video and got our names wrong in the first place, you would think she would have some professionalism not to make the mistake again. You can see for yourself the lack of attention to detail that is used in her work. Also I stated that the last dance was not recorded in full and during our first dance you couldn't see my whole dress. I wrote reviews in order for other brides to know what happened in my situation so that they could decide for themselves on MIA.

We had a lot of problems with MIA. They did deliver our video that we enjoyed, but the whole process was very stressful. Throughout the wedding, she was at the front of the chapel and very noticeable to my guests. She also did not zoom in or out in certain parts we thought a videographer would. She cut the groom's men, and groom's father's heads off during the filming. She also only filmed from the waist up during our first dance and didn't capture a moment of my whole dress as you normally see filmed during the first dance. (this was on her website as he sample but was not done at our wedding) Much of the edits, we felt we had to suggest such as cutting out dances that were repetitive, people walking in front of the camera, people's back's in front of the camera where nothing else can be seen, etc. She did work with us on making most of the edits we suggested and the reason we suggested more than usual is because we were not satisfied with the way the video was filmed and the edits that she had already made. She did add music that we wanted which made the video better. She also ran out of battery and did not record all of our last dance which was not professional and deeply upsetting to us since we do not have all of our last dance. She also took longer than expected on editing the video but constantly told us that she was working on other wedding videos. She also had put the wrong name for my husband when we reviewed the original, which although she fixed was upsetting to watch another name next to mine on our wedding video. She also had our contract which had both our names so it just seemed to be a lack of attention to detail on her part for putting the wrong name on our video. This was later fixed after we brought it to her attention. We were glad to have received the video because the picture was nice but just wanted to have had more professional contact and her have spent more quality time editing our video as she did when she was working on other weddings. Also due to our negative feedback she revoked a promise she had made in delivering our extra footage which I also felt was unprofessional. Be sure you say exactly what you want in the video down to specifics of when to zoom in, and have everything in writing even if it's her trying to be nice because we didn't and her nice offerings were taken away because of our feedback. To me as a professional you can not promise something and take it away because of the customer's opinion and feedback.

This has been a nightmare

It has been 8 months since our wedding and we still have not received all of our wedding footage. We were informed that it would arrive via mail on a USB and this still has now occurred. We are now seeking legal consultation. No one should have to wait 8 months for wedding footage.

Do not do business with MIA Videos unless you plan on waiting 3 months for your wedding video! A legal binding contract means nothing to them!I hired Virginia for my wedding on 3/21. The contract explicitly says that you will have your video in 1 month or sooner! As a bride you're so busy planning your wedding but when a contract says money is due by a certain date there are no exceptions. If I am expected to fulfill the obligations of the contract, I expect to have the same courtesy. Beginning on 4/20 I started to ask Virginia how the video was going & was told she would start on it the following week & that when done she would send me a link. On 5/6 I followed up again & was told she was working on it that week & that she would have it to be by the end of the week or the following Monday. On 6/1 I followed up again & was given many excuses, which don't really matter in the professional world but was told I'd have it done that week. On 6/9 I was on MIA's FB page & saw a post of a wedding video they uploaded. I watched it & saw the video she had uploaded was dated after my wedding day! I was so upset I wrote Virginia again. I was given the same & new excuses & so I asked for some type of refund. She said she wouldn't be able to do that. I went as far as to get an attorney to send her a demand letter for my video. Once she was served she emailed me to let me know she would be mailing it to me that day. 3 days later my video shipped & I finally received it! It took 3 months! I was so happy to finally have my video but so upset with how I was treated. I was nothing but nice & professional with Virginia. I was given the run around & never once told the truth as to the status of my video. You would think that after a vendor broke THEIR OWN CONTRACT that they would provide you with at least the TRUTH & somewhat of a refund. Please do yourself a favor & find another videographer, MIA will only give you the run around & the worst customer service you can imagine.

STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! This was the absolute worse experience of our wedding! It is very difficult to get in touch with the owner. The website says "At Mia Videos, we are committed to capture the day and make those memories to last forever. Remember communication is the key to have a smooth, stress free wedding and the best work from your vendors." However, there is absolutely NO COMMUNICATION between Virginia, the owner/director, and her clients and she causes nothing BUT stress. We did not receive what we paid for. We were told it would take 4-6 weeks to get our video back. It took 3 1/2 months. When we would ask about the video, she would say it would be ready the next week and it would not come. It was excuse after excuse. Once we finally got our video it looked like an amateur had edited it.
If you want a memorable wedding video DO NOT USE MIA Videos!! You have been warned!!

**This is my response to Mia Productions' response below..
Mia Productions had the opportunity to resolve this situation to my satisfaction, up to and including a refund of ANY amount, and chose not to do so. My review was not based on the quality of the video, but on your horrible customer service and total lack of professionalism in handling the inexcusable actions of your cameraman. You are continuing to blame me for HIS actions, whish is ridiculous. Also- paying a deposit and the balance before the event is still PRE-PAYING, which I did because I understood you to be a professional outfit.

Go watch the video again- my husband and I NEVER ONCE said "GOOD BYE" to the cameraman, so I dont' know where you are getting your facts; we said "THANK YOU", because we are polite people with manners, who thank people who do things for us. Bottom line: as our paid employee, he had no justifiable reasons to leave our function without first checking with either my planner or myself to make sure that his services were complete. Since he failed to do this, Mia Productions is completely in the wrong. Just admit it & move on.**

The cameraman took it upon himself to leave our wedding about 5 minutes before we made our planned exit, without consulting anyone before doing so. I was very upset to find this out only after viewing the video, which arrived 3 months later, and seeing that the getaway was missing. After confirming he basically walked out before the wedding was over, all I received were excuses to justify his actions; no real effort was made on Mia's part to rectify the situation after the fact. After several argumentative emails, I had my planner intervene to keep things civil and to ensure that Mia Productions would send the unedited footage of the wedding, which was promised to me before I found out the cameraman bailed early. Though it was no picnic for her, she was able to have them send it. It's nowhere near a replacement for the getaway that was missed & gone forever, or even a partial refund, but it's something.
After pre-paying Mia in full according to their payment terms, which was very inconvenient for me, I’m appalled at the lack of professionalism, respect & common courtesy I received as a result of the cameraman’s inexcusable actions and Mia Production’s poor customer service.

Don’t do it, i warned you

The only thing she was great at was taking my money!!! After that she kept making up excuses why my video wasn’t done yet and kept sending me pictures of random sick kids claiming it was her kids and she was to busy to do it. So weird. Then after ONE YEAR of delays and other crappy excuses she sends me a shaky, low quality, blurry dark video!!!! It was terrible!!!! I was out thousands and she vanished!!! Horrible experience so sad, what a con artist! Don’t say I didn’t warn yall!!! Please RUN and look elsewhere for a REAL professional. Shame on them!!!!
