Absolutely LOVED Chris!!!!!!!!! I cannot say enough great things. We’ve been to a few weddings in the past couple of years, and the dance floor was kind of hit or miss. I found Chris through Wedding Wire, and everyone had such awesome reviews. Chris was incredibly responsive for months leading up to our day. We had several different requests. For the father/daughter dance, I wanted him to merge specific parts of two different songs. For our first dance, we needed a specific cut version of the full song. He did them beautifully! And the timing of the cold fireworks for our first dance was PERFECT!! He was also amazing at reading the dance floor! We had a set list of songs we wanted played, but he saw what type of songs were getting guests out of their seats so he pivoted to his own list of tracks. He had EVERYONE on the dance floor! Both our older family members and our friends were celebrating all the way to 11pm!!!Wedding DJ Vallarta's reply:

I was uncertain hiring a DJ outside of the recommended vendors at our hotel, but it was the best choice we made!!! The cost was HALF of the recommended vendor. We went with the basic DJ package and 2 strings of lights. I sent my song list and the dance floor was packed the entire time!! The DJ did a great job with announcements, timing, and reading the crowd to give the best experience. The fact we are primarily English speaking was not a problem at all!! Thank you so much for making our reception the best party ever :D -

Our wedding coordinator said, I know you guys are big music lovers. I have the very best DJ for you! And boy oh boy did she!! DJ CHRIS was above and beyond amazing. We had a nice meeting with him a couple days before the wedding and not only was he so sweet but very professional. You would be silly NOT to hit DJ Chris for ANY event you might be having!! He will see us again 🤩 -

I found Christian on here and it was the best decision I could have made for my wedding. I had very specific songs that I pulled off youtube for a fireworks show and they got everything right down to the second. Every song was perfectly timed and it brought a tear to my eye. Christian and his team were so polite and so sweet and took care of any last minute changes. Their setup was perfect with all the bells and whistles I asked for. My guests wanted to request their own songs and Christian and his team obliged happily. Thank you Christian! You truly made my wedding perfect and I cannot ever thank you enough for everything. I am so lucky to have come across you because no one else could have done what you did. I just wish our time was longer. If you are considering him for your wedding, I say pull the trigger and HIRE HIM!!!!! -

If you are looking for a great DJ look no further. Wedding DJ Vallarta had everyone dancing the whole night. He was super responsive and a great communicator, he worked really well with my decorator and made everything go smoothly. I would for sure recommend to anyone. -

We had an excellent time at our wedding with Christian spinning tracks. He kept everyone on the dance floor and the only problem was sweaty guests that couldn’t get enough of the music. We had a mix of Spanish and American songs that he helped curate for our diverse guest. It was also shockingly affordable compared to other alternatives in PV. Look no further, you found your maestro of music -

Excellent service
Chris was Fanta to work with. He was able to get the party going. Smooth and fast transitions between songs. The only critique really was our wedding planner had a difficult time getting his attention but this was mostly due to the location the venue put him in.Wedding DJ Vallarta's reply:

Not only did he DJ our wedding and had everyone dancing all night, but he also rented us all of our event rentals and was incredibly responsive and helpful every step of the way. We absolutely loved Christian!! We had a misunderstanding caused by a wedding planner we ended up firing, but he handled it graciously and figured out a way to use the money we’d already paid and we ended up with everything we could ask for and things we didn’t know we would have needed! I don’t know enough about fireworks to explain, but I do know that we still got beautiful fireworks and a sparkler send off at the end of the night. He was also a one-stop-shop. We got:
Up-lights, market lights, an LED dance floor, a gorgeous DJ booth, great music, a great emcee, and the all-night party we were hoping for.Wedding DJ Vallarta's reply:

My Husband and I hired Christian from DJ Vallarta for our destination wedding. BEST DECISION EVER! We gave Christian all the primary songs we wanted for the signature dances, walk -in etc. We left it up to Christian to play whatever he felt during the dinner and cocktail hour. We also didn't give Christian a playlist for the reception but his ability to read the crowd was impeccable. Christian was very responsive to song requests from our wedding guests. I still have people asking me for our playlist and I tell them I have no clue because Christian did it all! Christian also made our reception beautiful with lighting and a dance floor. Strongly Recommend Christian to anyone having an event in the area!Wedding DJ Vallarta's reply:

I was extremely satisfied with everything in my wedding and DJ Vallarta - Chris Love had played a major role in making it a success. His Sound system and stage setup was perfect for our intimate wedding. He was attentive and available to add last minute song requests to our setlist. He worked well with everyone else including other vendors we hired for our wedding night. He was a true professional, and I would recommend him for any of our friend's weddings. -

We hired Chris for a Welcome Party, Beach Ceremony and the Reception. All three were very different venues - that required very different requirements. Chris supported us with the best option in each of the venues. Was extremely responsive and professional. PLUS - he is just a good DJ who knew how to get a very mixed American & Mexican guest list on the dance floor. We also discovered his wife is a talented And experienced wedding photographer. Very, very affordable! We did a combination of wedding/reception photos and then photos around the iconic landmarks in PV a few days later. Definitely recommend doing the seperate photo shoot around town! Both of them were a real pleasure to work with. No request was too big! -

Chris was the best wedding DJ! He was easy to communicate with and a total professional. He offered us advice and guidance in planning the lights, setup, and format for the reception. At the reception, he knew what music to play to appeal to all ages, but he also respected and stuck to our requested songs. He was a great MC, as well. The set-up that he and his company did for the dance floor and light was absolutely gorgeous and a dream. We wouldn't recommend anyone but Chris for your wedding DJ! -

Chris was the DJ at my wedding in Nuevo Vallarta, from the beginning he made me feel so comfortable , i sent him a message and a quote request , he was so fast to reply and we spoke over the phone, he made me feel like i could trust him, he was so professional, all I did was to chose three songs and told him to surprise me with his own choice for the reception , he really nailed it!!
I have never seen everybody on the dance floor!! I mean EVERYBODY!!! He was so profesional, acomodating, he was right on the price! Every single guest was talking about how amazing the party was , The hotel personnel kept commenting about the wonderful entertainment !
I am so satisfied with Chris’ service, whatever you need for your party he has the best sugestión and he goes the extra mile to make it happen! Thank you Chris, John and I are so happy, our wedding was so amazing!! The lights, the dance floor, everything was spectacular ,

Chris was great fit for our wedding. It was a small wedding of 30 people at Le Kliff. We had phone conversations and whatsapp massages back and forth but had not actually met till the day of the wedding. Chris got set up and started playing on time while we were still taking photos downstairs. He was always in cue and played the playlist as requested and changed up it on request as well. I would definitely recommend Chris!! -

It's May 18th, 2018. The sun has long set, the tables have been cleared, and the photographers are about to head home. Chris (DJ Vallarta) is still working. He seamlessly transitions from one song he chose to a song we requested: Savage Garden's Truly Madly Deeply. In this moment, all the guests on the dance floor spontaneously hold hands and join in a circle around my new wife and I. I spin her around, lifting her dress off the floor, and the photographers capture a moment that Chris made possible.
Chris is absolutely the best wedding DJ I could have ever asked for. His communication throughout the process was prompt and he really listened to what my wife and I wanted. We asked him to play playlists that we created, while also adding some of his own songs to the mix that matched the mood. We also gave him veto power over songs he thought might not work.
Chris helped us create memories we will never forget. He is a very kindhearted individual and is incredibly hardworking. From setup of the illuminated dancefloor to wrapping up at the end, Chris was helpful and easy to work with. If you are getting married in Puerto Vallarta, you can't go wrong with Chris!!!

Simone Sent on 01/14/2018I couldn’t have gotten a better DJ for my wedding than Chris. He was very professional and met with us the day before our wedding to go through a run down of our music selection. He even edited a song for our first dance so it would be perfect. There wasn’t anyone at our wedding sitting down while Chris was DJ’ing—he picked the best songs that made people get up out of their seats!
Our guests still talk about the light up dance floor he provided. I highly rrecommend him!

Ricardo Sent on 12/07/2017Chris and his team did an amazing job for my wedding in November of 2017. He is quick on email responses and although one may be skeptical booking things from the states in Mexico he made it easy and even sent me a contract. I would email him up to the night before the wedding (I’m the bride so stressing as usual) and he emailed me back even though it was midnight which I appreciated. He assisted me with me with the sound for ceremony, lighting, and the music. Everything turned out better then expected and worked with the schedule I wanted which I REALLY appreciated. Thanks Chris! I would use him again next party I throw in Sayulita or Puerto Vallarta.

He always arrived on time and put up with our lengthy lists of songs to play and those that were forbidden (read: chicken dance, mambo #5) and created the perfect mix to get everyone from all ages on the dance floor. Furthermore, Chris' recommendation for our videographer worked out fabulously!!

His responses were alway very prompt (which is rare when emailing for a destination wedding). Come time to meet him in Puerto Vallarta, he was so flexible with timing when it came to meeting me the day before (since I was all over the place). I had instructions on the songs and timing, I felt bad for asking that of him but he delivered 110%! He had all my family and friends on the dance floor. I definitely recommend DJ Chris to any destination bride who wants one less thing to worry about!

Lupita Sent on 01/18/2018My review is long overdue! I had my wedding in May 2016 and while wedding planning, Chris was recommended as our D.J. Which honestly I couldn’t imagine a better D.J. For our wedding. Chris was always prompt to answer my questions. And I’ll be honest, I procrastinated on sending my music/song choices until the very last night before the wedding. I don’t think Chris slept the night before to ensure he put all the music I wanted together. And added some other cools music too! All my guests kept telling me how awesome the music was and such well mix. I am Mexican American and my husband is American, so our guests were a good mix of people who liked different kinds of music. Chris made sure there was something for everyone. Our wedding was a a resort, we even had wedding crashers (other non-wedding guest from the resort) who were enticed to the dance floor. Chris is also one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. I suggest you look no further and just go ahead and book Christ!

Good music, good host
Christian and his team were really responsive to any questions I had they were professional. Everything was done well, the only thing that didn't go as planned was putting up all the banners we had. We had discussed a certain length for the banners to be hung up and lights, Christian and his team said they would be able to hang the banners up. It turned out really pretty, but we still had so much of the banner left over that not all was put up like we had discussed. I think it turned out to be a lot harder and needed more people than they realized but we had family that were around that could have helped with this part. That is the only part that was not to my expectation was the banners for the decorations. The music and the party was so much fun it was great! We would recommend.Wedding DJ Vallarta's reply:
