Our wedding ceremony turned out so perfect! Andrea was recommended to us by our wedding planner, and she was simply amazing. She got back to us quickly, and you gave us all the tools that we needed to make the ceremony go smoothly! We had plenty of styles, quotes, short readings, ceremony ideas, ring ceremony wording ideas, and vows to read through. We had all the information we ever needed on obtaining our marriage license. I was very nervous to stand up in front of a bunch of people, but she was there to support us and guide us through the ceremony. Thank you again, Andrea, for making our wedding day so special!

Andrea was wonderful to work with! She was extremely timely and responsive to our requests and inquiry for suggestions, guidance and feedback in the planning phase. Her rate rate was also very reasonable when compared to they officiants. Her wedding script is easy to work with and we felt we were able to write our own unique wedding with her diverse options. Beautiful ceremony

My husband and I had the city hall booked before we decided to hire Andrea to be our wedding officiant. Andrea responded to our inquiry right away and gave as all the details we needed. We chose Andrea to be our officiant December 2020 for our October 2021 wedding. We just had our wedding this past weekend, and Andrea helped to make our ceremony PERFECT! Many of our guests complimented us on how smooth Andrea made everything. When we first decided to ask Andrea to be our officiant, she very quickly responded and even sent out a mock outline with choices for how we could choose to do our ceremony. The Perfect Day
My wife and I got married at The York Harbor Inn in York, Maine in the beginning of June. We couldn’t have asked for a better day! Beautiful venue, beautiful wife (if I do say so myself… 😉), great weather and our officiant, Andrea Rohde, helped us put together a fantastic and heartfelt ceremony. We hadn’t met Andrea before the wedding planning, but it was like we’ve known her for years! She has such a kind heart, great personality and soul and she officiated the most perfect ceremony for my wife and I! The day was PERFECT and Andrea was such a HUGE part of pulling it all together. So kind, went above and beyond
We had one conversation over the phone with Andrea and instantly liked her. Just very warm and kind and communicative, and she was proactive about giving us updates and checking in. We initially booked Andrea for our May wedding, which we ended up having to postpone because of COVID. Andrea wasn’t available for our new date so we had to part ways at first, but even after that she went out of her way to help me figure out how we could get a marriage license (which was difficult given the circumstances) because we still wanted to try and get married on our original date. She even called one of the clerks office in Maine and sent me more info from researching other options. I was so grateful for that during what was already a really terrible overwhelming situation. Once we got our license, I reached back out to see if Andrea would still marry us on our original date, so long as we were outside and socially distanced with a small group. She said yes and immediately worked with us on a script, arrived early the day of, and did a wonderful job delivering the vows we had settled on. She was so kind and genuine and warm for all of our interactions and I can’t recommend her enough!

The best officiant
We booked Andrea for our wedding in York Beach. We never got to meet in person before the wedding, but I felt comfortable with her right away. If I could give Andrea a million stars, I would! She was so professional and made our ceremony so easy to put together. By providing an outline, we could make a ceremony uniquely ours. She provided great communication - prompt and always answered our questions. Rehearsal went easily, and she lit up the room at rehearsal dinner. She arrived on-time, if not early! - and made us all laugh to ease any nerves. Andrea submitted our license immediately. We couldn't have asked for a better officiant!

Everything was perfect!
We had a great experience working with Andrea! She was very flexible in working with our schedule and our requests. We loved the fact that we could go through her suggested choices for each part of the ceremony or make up our own. It really made the day more special when we exchanged vows that truly meant something to us and not something that is standard or cookie cutter!
And, since my husband and I went over each part of the wedding ceremony together, deciding what we wanted and what we didn’t, it brought us closer through this process.
Andrea was also fantastic in helping out with tips and recommendations regarding the venue and the area!

Andrea was wonderful to work with! We eloped to Maine a few weeks ago and we were on the hunt for an officiant to perform our ceremony. Andrea was incredibly quick with her response and talked to us on the phone so we could get to know her a little bit! We wanted the simplest ceremony on earth and Andrea had no problem doing that for us. Her ceremonies are completely customizable to what you want/need/desire. She's so prompt with responses, easy to talk to and open/accepting. We wanted to make sure our officiant was LGBT friendly and Andrea fit the bill. Really Helped Organize and Destress!
Andrea was absolutely terrific. Admittedly, we were not the best at organizing our ceremony, but Andrea stepped in and made everything go so smoothly. She gave us a template and suggestions to write the ceremony and worked with us (simply via email) to come up a dialogue that worked for us. She was also instrumental in organizing the "day-of" procession and logistics. The actual ceremony went off without a hitch and we couldn't be happier with the outcome!

Andrea is the perfect fit for any wedding!
Andrea was the perfect fit for our small, intimate wedding in Kennebunkport! Andrea is super professional and always quick to respond. She gives you a packet of information and ceremony choices to choose from but lets you customize anything you want. For us, that was perfect since we really didn't know what to do. We were able to simply choose a few templates in an hour or so and be done with it! I can't imagine how much time we would have wasted trying to find ceremony scripts on our own. In Maine, officiants have to file your marriage license within a few days so it's important to find someone you can trust. I spoke with the local town office in Kennebunkport and they asked me who was officiating. I told them Andrea. And they said "oh good, you have nothing to worry about! She'll make sure everything is in order." And she was so right! Andrea made sure to file everything immediately and we got out marriage licenses within a week. During the ceremony, Andrea had everything printed and ready to go (she had everything for our speakers too) and it all went off without a hitch. Her calm and lovely demeanor is perfect for any ceremony and we were so glad we chose her to officiate. We highly recommend to anyone getting married in the Kennebunkport or nearby areas to hire Andrea!

We had considered asking a friend to officiate, but once we learned how much went into it, and how the officiant ties the whole day together, we knew we needed a professional. I am so glad we went with Andrea, she was a delight to work with. Andrea is a retired teacher, so she knows how to provide clear instruction and guidance for both the couple and the wedding party. Andrea was very responsive to any email we sent, often responding within the hour! Once depositing, Andrea sends a 40 page document that outlines your completely customizable ceremony. She organizes each part of the ceremony into sections and offers numerous options for each. You are free to edit or add anything you'd like. She offers options for blessings, wine box, unity candle, sand, breaking class, including children, remembering a loved one, prayer or meditation.. she's thought of it all! We found it so easy to build our ceremony using her guide and it truly felt unique to us. We asked for her help in crafting an announcement regarding our unplugged wedding, and she found the perfect balance of providing ground rules for our guests without being patronizing. Andrea also included helpful directions on how to change your name and obtain a marriage license. She was wonderful during our rehearsal and provided clear instructions to everyone. On our wedding day, she provided comfort and ease. She had tissues at the ready, and guided us through the whole ceremony. She was ready to repeat a phrase if we needed it, and offered appropriate humor. When it comes down to it, to get married you really only need the officiant. This is the one piece you MUST have. You want to have someone who is professional, caring and kind. We are thrilled we were lucky enough to have Andrea as our officiant. She helped us to build our perfect ceremony and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her.

I feel like I've known Andrea for years which makes having her part of your wedding even more special
Andrea is an absolute joy to work with. The first time I spoke with her on the phone I knew immediately that she was a perfect fit for our wedding. We chatted for about 45 minutes and my now husband actually thought I was talking with a friend on the phone! She is so personable and accommodating and responsive. Andrea is professional yet warm and was completely patient with all of my changes and edits that I made for our ceremony. She knows how important the ceremony is on any couples' wedding day and provides everyone she works with a packet filled with ample options to help you in creating your perfect marriage ceremony. The way she breaks it down and explains everything and gives suggestions is a huge help. She was even kind enough to be part of our rehearsal without any hesitation and she also made time in her schedule to meet with us several months before the wedding to talk and go through everything together. Andrea was a wonderful addition to our wedding day! Because of unforeseen circumstances, Andrea came into our lives just three short weeks before our wedding day. From our first correspondence, I knew she would be perfect for our wedding ceremony! We met at for a chat a few days after first contacting one another, and she was perfect! She got to know my husband and I right away, and really cared about our story and our ceremony. The ceremony was extremely important to my husband and I, and Andrea helped us to craft a beautiful ceremony that perfectly captured our relationship. She helped us to create a flow for the ceremony, and helped us to insert some nice additions before the most key aspects of the ceremony (ring ceremony and vows). In addition, Andrea filed our marriage license in the town of York the day after we were married, which was excellent as we received our copy as soon as we got home from our honeymoon! Andrea was an absolute pleasure to work with. My wife and I were looking to do a very small, intimate ceremony somewhere along the Maine coast. She had a number of great suggestions, one of which we wound up using for the ceremony. She also provided us with a number of suggestions when we were putting our vows together.
Andrea was also very helpful with the administrative aspect(s) of a Maine wedding. Upon contracting her, she immediately provided us with a number of cheat sheets and checklists explaining the process. She promptly filed paperwork with the town after our ceremony so we could immediately request copies of our marriage license.

I can't say enough good things about Andrea. She was warm, genuine, funny and very helpful to me during the ceremony planning process. She has many options for the ceremony outline to choose from, which makes the planning process much easier. She's so professional and very supportive. We just loved her! I would highly recommend her if you're planning to get married in Maine. Right before the wedding, she even put on the handmade cake topper I made (which had been overlooked in all the chaos of the day). She's a gem.

We found Andrea on a recommendation from another officiant and it was a blessing in disguise. The support she offered us leading up to the big day was instrumental in how excited I was to marry my now-husband. Her ceremony choices were extensive, allowing us to build the ceremony that best fit us. She responded to all emails lightning fast, and she created new vows based on a couple different vows that we liked. She took control the day of the rehearsal and made sure that every person involved was attentive, and understood instructions. Her delivery during the ceremony had every person siting on the edge of their seats, waiting for what was next to come. I cannot recommend Andrea enough, she is a true professional who takes pride in her work.

Andrea came highly recommended to us multiple times while planning our wedding. My husband initially pictured being married by a male (I have no idea why!) but after coming up short on all of the wedding planning websites that give reviews and reaching out to trusted people in Kennebunkport (we are from out of state), we chose Andrea and it was the best decision! She is very prompt in responding, so kind, warm and has one of those voices that instantly makes you feel comfortable. She helped us write the perfect ceremony that was short, sweet and unique to us. One of the first things my husband said when we saw each other after the ceremony is that while standing with her and waiting for me to walk down the aisle, she was key in calming his nerves - so nice to hear :) We would absolutely recommend Andrea to anyone planning their wedding!

After interviewing many officiants we found Andrea. She was very friendly and easy to work with. She had so much helpful material for us to review that was very helpful in putting together or wedding ceremony. She was very timely and went with the flow at the ceremony even calmly working through a little glitch. She was fantastic and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Andrea officiated our wedding on June 4, 2016 along Marginal Way in Ogunquit. From the beginning Andrea was kind, communicative, and flexible. Right after booking she sent us an outline of different readings and ways we could piece our ceremony together, which was incredibly helpful in making it personalized. We had our first conversation over the phone, "getting to know each other", and set a date for all of us to meet. At that meeting she listened to our story so she could incorporate it into our ceremony, and did a beautiful job the day of. Even on the beach everyone could hear every word she said, she arrived 30 minutes early and stayed to snap a few photos. She was quick in submitting the paperwork, because we got our marriage license within the week! Thanks Andrea!

We are Canadian and quietly eloped to Ogunquit, Maine for a simple service, wishing for only a Justice of the Peace and two witnesses. We contacted Andrea and from the start she was warm, professional and eager to help. Andrea guided us through the process and provided us with numerous variations of the service that we could select from. It was simply a delight from start to finish thanks to Andrea. Andrea did a beautiful job officiating our wedding on the beach in Ogunquit on New Years Day! I booked her about 10 days before our intimate ceremony, and she was wonderful through the whole process. She gave us all the information we needed to make our ceremony run smoothly. We were able to choose every part of our ceremony, which made it special and personal for us. She was there waiting on the beach when we arrived with our families, and helped make it a perfect day! Our families were commenting after about what a lovely job she did, and what a nice clear, warm, and welcoming voice she has. She was the perfect person to join us together!

Andrea was the best. Perfect fit for our wedding and that is because she was able to understand what we wanted, and how she should deliver the ceremony. I'm sure she could do this for anyone. Nearly all of our guests came up to us after the ceremony to tell us how much they loved it and our officiant who delivered it so well. Andrea walked us through the process (all over email, since we lived a few hours apart from each other) and gave us all the options in the world to choose from to make it 'ours'. She also encouraged us to write something of our own that she could read. We did... and she delivered it better than we could have imagined. And it wasn't necessarily an easy reading.
It was a mix of the hysterical, the informative, and the romantic (we wrote a reading that was pretty unique - it involved a) explanation of the science / physiology of love ; b) highlighting where world religions and cultures were a bit skewed/negative when it came to marriage, c) a good 7-10 minutes of reading various lines from rock n roll songs, including artists such as Guns n Roses, Spinal Tap, David Bowie and Lou Reed). Perfect delivery. Just perfect.
It was the best day of our lives and Andrea helped us to feel totally comfortable and excited about what we thought would be the most nerve-wracking part. Honestly, standing up there in front of all those people was one of the best parts of the night. We cannot thank Andrea enough for being part of our day.
Beyond that - it is important to note that she was willing to do pretty much everything without ever meeting face-to-face, which was difficult with our busy schedules. She did however make extra time just to meet us on our way up to Portland (we live in Boston), just so we could have a quick 'hi' for 15 minutes. Also, she's extremely affordable - worth every penny.

Andrea was the officiant at my wedding and she was just wonderful!! Throughout the entire process she was extremely prompt in her replies and always very helpful and cheerful. She gave us a guide with all the different components a wedding ceremony could have, with many options of passages to read for each component, so that we could format our ceremony exactly the way we wanted. We also chose to write our own vows, but were very last minute about it! Andrea took our handwritten vows on the day of our ceremony and then had them typed, printed, and ready for us during the ceremony the next day. My husband and I had not been to many weddings, so we required a lot of guidance with the ceremony proceedings. Andrea's confidence combined with her soft sense of humor put us both as ease during the rehearsal and ceremony. I am so happy we chose Andrea as our officiant and I would absolutely recommend her to others!

Andrea officiated our wedding in York Harbor last weekend, and she was very helpful and professional. She met with us in person ahead of time to discuss what we were looking for in a ceremony, and she helped us to personalize our ceremony while also keeping it flowing well. She provided a very extensive list of options for each part of the ceremony, and she was responsive to email and kept in contact, even when were planning the wedding from across the country. She helped direct our rehearsal, and on the day of the ceremony she was friendly and warm and seemed genuinely happy for us and our guests. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a friendly and professional wedding officiant!
