Very Heartwarming Ceremony!

Marie is showed extreme dedication to performing a very personalized wedding ceremony for us on the beach. She really goes out of her way to get to know your wants and desires all the way from getting your license, your vows, to making sure our 4 year old ring bearer was appreciated and comfortable during the ceremony. Couldn't be happier with everything she did and how she performed. You can't go wrong with hiring Marie!

Marie was truly a blessing to us!

From the very first conversation, I felt an immediate connection with Marie. Throughout the entire wedding planning process, she was always available and incredibly supportive—her guidance was invaluable. Planning a destination wedding from out of town can be challenging, but Marie made everything feel seamless. She was so accommodating and attentive to every detail. What stood out the most to us was how beautifully she conducted the ceremony—it was everything we hoped for and more. We especially loved incorporating the sand unity ceremony, and the surprise shell toss on the bay side of Destin at Jolee Island was such a thoughtful touch. It made the moment even more magical. Hoyt Wedding 1/17/2025. An outpouring of Love.

Marie was the perfect choice to perform our wedding on 1/17/2025 at the American Legion Post 221, Niceville, FL. We wanted to keep it simple but sincere and Marie met and exceeded all our expectations of a well prepared and personable officiate. It was as if she had know us personally forever for she took the time to familiarize herself with our story and did everything in her power to make us comfortable and at ease as we exchanged our vows. Best Officant in Destin Area

Marie was amazing from start to finish. Anytime I called, she was there to answer and always had a solution. Planning an out-of-state wedding was challenging, but she made it so much easier by addressing all my questions and concerns. She’s incredibly thorough and such a wonderful person to work with.

The best officiant.

Highly recommend, she was the best, made our ceremony really special considering how we had never met but she personalized the ceremony to the best of her ability. She was thorough, eloquent and worked wonderfully well with our busy schedule. We also asked for her help with vows last minute and she did so. I am forever greatful.

Marie was so easy going, professional, informative, and all around amazing to work with! She answered all questions we had and sent us any information we needed. She went above and beyond to make our wedding ceremony so special, and she answered any questions we had throughout the process quickly and efficiently. Marie was very flexible with her schedule to any changes we wanted or needed to make to the ceremony. Marie performed the ceremony seamlessly without ANY rehearsal whatsoever. She made us feel comfortable throughout the entire process and ceremony. If you are looking to get married she is the one to go to!

A personalized, private ceremony right in the condo with the Gulf of Mexico as the backdrop. Wow. It was surreal. Wedding Vow Renewal

Marie was so instrumental in the process. She coordinated with a great friend of mine and helped me surprise my husband with a vow renewal after 27 years. Marie took the time to listen and get to know us prior to the ceremony. Marie is very trustworthy and on point in everything she does. She is an amazing, kind hearted, and genuine as she can be. Best decision I could have made!

Marie was highly recommended to me. I can see why now. Long before the wedding she was very informative, was able to answer any questions I had and explain stuff I hadn't even thought about yet. At the ceremony she was super sweet and eased our stress, helping us when we seemed just (we were so lost), and keeping things light with a little laughter. After the ceremony I even heard a few guest saying how great she was! I'm so glad I took the suggestion and called her!

We cannot say enough great things about Marie! She was available with little notice due to previous officiant having an emergency. We believe this was a God send! Marie gave us so much guidance and detail from obtaining our marriage license to adding little details to making our ceremony our own and special. We Love Marie!

If Marie is available for your wedding date, book her NOW! We planned our wedding from out of state so we did not have a chance to meet Marie before our wedding day, but we immediately felt like we were being married by a long time family friend. Marie is kind, professional, organized, punctual and articulate. She helped us plan the perfect ceremony that felt personal and was exactly what we wanted. Best Decision EVER...(besides marrying my husband)

We were planning a family vacation to the Emerald Coast for March. 2021 my Husband and I will celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary so I got the bright idea of renewing our wedding vows on the beach! I had no idea where to start so I did a little research with the help of google of course and I came across Marie along with a few others. I didn't want anything super fancy or elaborate so I did some further research of each that I found. Marie was the quickest to get back with me and from the moment I read her first email I KNEW she was the one I needed to hire! She helped me plan a complete SURPRISE renewal from hundreds of miles away and it couldn't have turned out better! She felt like part of our family once the surprise was announced but yet very professional and genuine. I totally recommend hiring her for your wedding or renewal needs! (she's also a great photographer too, wink wink :) )

Amazing Experience!

Marie is absolutely amazing! We found Marie after our original officiant double booked on us, so it was a little short notice (about 2 weeks before). From the first phone call to the actual ceremony, Marie made sure we had everything that we needed. She even met with us in person at a mutual space to discuss the details of our ceremony! Marie Was Like A Mother and Friend to Me

Marie was very responsive to my questions and the timeline. She tailored our ceremony perfectly. She allowed me to feel comfortable knowing she would direct us to face and hand this or that out, without really rehearsing it. She provided a step by step run-down of how the ceremony would go weeks in advance. She included our part in the ceremony with jokes, fun, and it was perfectly done. I couldn't have asked for a better Officiator. We felt like we not only had a Mom up there with us to make us feel comfortable, but a good friend to let us know it would alright. Marie was just fabulous! She made our elopement so special & sweet even though it was just the 2 of us. Enchanting!

Where do we start? Marie was able to accommodate us within a week! We had previous arrangements for our ceremony but due Covid-19 and the Pandemic our plans fell apart. We had a sunset ceremony on the beach where Marie made our fairytale come true. Marie made us feel like we were the only three there, even though the beach was crowded. She reminded us to take a breathe and enjoy the moment. The rest of our love story will include her because the spirit she brought with her was so inviting, loving and gentle. We are forever grateful for Marie and absolutely recommend her for your love tie!

Marie did an AMAZING job with our 10 year vow renewal! She is very professional and was always quick to get back to me when I had any questions. Our ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Marie did an amazing job telling our story, and it was so moving. I got butterflies all over again. She made our two children feel included as well and captured how much they mean to us perfectly. My 7 year old son was moved to tears.

Even a couple of weeks later, our guests were still raving about the ceremony that Marie officiated. You would have thought that she knew us for quite awhile. It was that personalized! She helped us renew our vows on our 50th wedding anniversary. We could not have had a more beautiful ceremony. The sand decorated unity vase was my favorite part. The beautiful sand sculpture has a place of honor in our beach themed family room. You can not go wrong having Marie officiate your wedding or vow renewal. My brother-in-law videotaped the entire ceremony and we still have misty eyes every time we view it. You'll love her and I can surely attest to that.

We decided to renew our wedding vows on our 10 year anniversary while on the Beach. I started searching in the Destin area on vow renewal ideas. I ran across Maria’s name mentioned several times. I started reading other’s positive reviews about her and right away I contacted her. She called me right back and I could tell in her voice she was very compassionate about her job.

Marie made our renewal the most unforgettable moment ever. Her words were beyond beautiful. You can really tell when someone is compassionate about what they do in life, Marie is. I couldn’t stop hugging her after it was over. Felt like I had known her for years!

I have already recommended her to someone and have only been back from vacation a day!

Marie was great and absolutely professional. She was quick to reply to our every Qs and was always informing us of the documents we needed, how to fill them out correctly, and took a keen interest on how to incorporate the things we wanted on the wedding ceremony. She pulled through on the day of the wedding, even though we had to make last day changes to the schedule due to the weather. She executed a perfectly planned ceremony, very professional and beautiful choice of words.

Hiring Marie for our wedding was the best decision we could have made. I don't even know where to start with how happy we were with Marie! She was so organized, so professional, and an absolute joy to work with. My husband found her through the recommendation of another vendor, and we hired her after his initial phone call with her. Then we happened to be in Destin working on other wedding arrangements, and coincidentally ran into Marie in a restaurant. She graciously took time from her friends and dinner plans and got to know us. She gave me the warm and fuzzies from the instant I met her. And throughout the process, she stepped in an helped, going above and beyond what we hired her for when various wedding issues popped up. She not only made our wedding a special and unique ceremony, but as a nervous bride, she really helped put my mind at ease. She conscientiously moves around during the ceremony to let the photographer get the best pictures, which I think is something many officiants don't think about based on pics I've seen. (The pics posted below are from friends and family, not the photographer.) Marie truly loves what she does and cares about making everything go perfectly. I can't recommend her highly enough!

Marie is absolutely wonderful! She is professional, easy to talk to, easy to work with, and she truly loves what she does. When my husband and I first met her we knew she was the perfect fit to perform our ceremony. We requested a completely non-religious ceremony because we wanted it to be about love and coming together, and Marie was so accommodating and showed just how beautifully she can put together any type of ceremony to fit every couple and their wishes. She did an amazing job the day of our wedding and our parents and guests loved her and loved how personal she made our ceremony. Marie is going to be my favorite vendor to rate. The only thing that upsets me is that I can only put five stars! She is about a 15 in a five star rating!
I am a professional wedding photographer and have both watched and recommended Marie many, many times. When my own daughter became engaged, there wasn't even a thought process, we NEEDED Marie!
To sit back and watch her ceremonies is amazing. She takes the time out to interview in depth her coupes and learn about them. All of my guests and the guests and couples at the dozens of weddings I have photographed where Marie was the officiant all say the same thing. "She's fun, relaxing and you can really tell she loves her job and deeply cares about her couples." Time and time again I have heard that. Now it's my turn to echo those sentiments. She involved all parents intimately in the ceremony as well as speaking directly to the couple about their hopes, goals and working together to achieve. It was beautiful.
From a photographer's point of view Marie is very easy to work with as well. There is no half officiant between the couple during the kiss or an overbearing presence. The ceremony is all about the couple!
She is an amazing and adorable presence who really cares to make the ceremony an intimate and memorable experience.

I cannot imagine planning a wedding WITHOUT Marie!!! She simply thinks of EVERYTHING! She is professional, organized, loving, thoughtful, & will make your day PERFECT! My partner & I planned a destination wedding for Santa Rosa Beach. We had 18 of our crazy friends & family present and Marie pulled off a romantic, personalized ceremony with COMPLETE EASE. From the time I contacted Marie until the day after my ceremony, she walked me through a process I had never done in an area I was not familiar with as if we were good friends. She made sure I knew where to go for my application and what areas had to be completed. And she referred me to a location for our ceremony straight out of my dreams.

When I told my husband I wanted something short and simple for our ceremony, Marie did exactly that but so much more. Extremely thorough, professional and asked all the right questions to make our small backyard ceremony intimate and special. She didn't stop there! She was very informative as far as how to go about getting things taken care of before and AFTER the ceremony as far as recommendations on getting everything taken care of after CORRECTLY to take care of the paperwork end of things. To top it off she even brought our sweet little baby boy and gift. Truly a blessing to have found an officiant that goes above and beyond to make your special day even more special. Marie was such a sweetheart, and I'm so glad we found her to officiate our private destination ceremony. She met and exceeded all of our expectations; we felt as though she truly cared about us, our story, and what we wanted for our wedding!

She definitely calmed my nerves (being an out-of-state bride not familiar with the area or any vendors), and helped us every step of the way, giving us a number of recommendations and keeping in contact regularly. We can't say enough good things about her, and we cannot thank her enough for making sure everything about our day was perfect. She made it so fun, wonderful and so special!

If we could give Marie more than 5 stars we absolutely would. She was fantastic! First and foremost, she has her stuff together (this is coming from a DC bride with high expectations); she made the ceremony planning process easy and fun. She was detail oriented and demonstrated she brings a lot of experience to the table. As a bride, there is a TON of stress in planning the wedding and Marie’s expertise alleviated a lot of my stress. She constantly offered tips along the way to help make me less stressed and to help keep our costs low. Her expertise extended well beyond planning the words of the ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about her.

We initially contacted Marie via email and she was very quick to respond (and continued this responsiveness throughout the wedding planning process). She spoke with us via phone and spent about an hour explaining her services, how she operates and options for the ceremony. She made a concerted effort to understand what type of ceremony we wanted. After the initial conversation, we filled out some paperwork and selected a more personalized ceremony (which cost a little extra but was well worth the cost). Marie spoke with both my (now) husband and I to gain a greater understanding of how we felt about each other and used our words, in conjunction with her own, to make a meaningful ceremony that had the light-hearted feel we were looking for. She couldn’t have done anything more to make the ceremony reflective of us. Many of our guests commented on what a great job she did with the ceremony and we highly recommend her for your wedding as well.

We were so happy to find Marie, and from France with only the internet, it was not an easy thing to do. I felt from her words, and her pictures all the joy she was having doing her work and making memorable moments with a lot of care. Getting married with her help was simple. We were very touched by her attention choosing the place, the moment, her patience with us and her beautiful words. We are SO blessed that we found Marie to perform our 25 year anniversary vow renewal ceremony. She quickly responded to our many questions as we planned the event. She customized the ceremony to our exact wishes and included our two grown sons in such a special way! This ceremony was more than I could have imagined and all due to Marie. Marie officiated a sunset double vow renewal ceremony for us (my husband and I and my mother and father) on the beach in Destin on 6/10/16, and it was something that we will treasure for the rest of our lives! Marie is one of the sweetest people that we have ever met!! We met with her a few days before the ceremonies and were able to spend some time chatting with her and even though it was the first time we had ever met, it was as though she had always been a part of our family! Marie was there for us every step of the way, offering assistance and answering any questions that we had, but the most important thing to us was that she was truly, completely invested in our ceremonies and was committed to making our evening one that we would never forget! Marie was amazing! She made this nervous bride relaxed and ready to say I Do! She brought my guest into the ceremony by turning us to face them and told them our story. Her choice of scripture was beautiful and on queue she knew exactly when to hand me a hanky to wipe my tears! She is incredibly personable and brings with her a sense of comfort as if we had known her forever....and felt as if someone very close had pronounced us as Mr. & Mrs. and left us with a hug goodbye. What more could one ask for?! I am beyond happy and satisfied with the service Marie provided!!

We held a very private ceremony at Rosemary Beach on Valentine's Day, and even though it was a blustery day, Marie was professional and perfect. During the planning process, we added the pre-ceremony interview and this is one element you should add. She interviewed both of us separately and then during the ceremony she incorporated what she learned in the interviews into the ceremony. It was priceless to have such a personalized wedding ceremony. Hire Marie today. She is the best in this area.

Marie was the perfect lady to marry us! We eloped and I only cared about a few things, the man I was marrying, the person who was marrying us and the photographer. Thankfully I found all three of those perfect people! I had no idea what I was doing when I first called her and she walked me through the whole process. She even helped me select my venue! She cared about what we wanted and it really showed in our ceremony. She got to know us and was always there if I had a question. We had a lovely day and a ceremony that I will always treasure. Marie Di Giovine by far surpassed my expectations of what an officiate is/does. It took 8 months to plan this wedding for myself and now my husband. During the 8 months, she was there addressing my every concern and question. She provided me the information I needed to find the photographer, beach wedding set up, marriage license, beach permit...etc You can tell she TRULY loves what she does. She took the time to address all our needs, wants, questions and concerns!

We could not have dreamed of a better Officiant. Marie was absolutely amazing. After speaking with her, we just loved her. It was like we had been friends for years. We explained we wanted a beach wedding, and she was excellent in find the perfect location. Thanks to her website, we found an awesome photographer. We let her choose the scripture and vows. She had it perfect. The meaning and care she gave us was above and beyond. Being a same sex couple coming out of state, Marie made everything so easy and took alot of the normal stress off us. She even helped with things to do in the area as this was our first visit, and recommended fabulous restaurants. She is truly a blessing. I would recommend her services to anyone. From the first moment I spoke to Marie on the phone, we made a connection. She is definitely a "people person". Marie was amazing.. I was so blessed to find her to perform our ceremony! We had a beautiful beach wedding. Just the 2 of us! She made us at ease and we felt like we were the only people on the beach! She included whatever we wanted and went above and beyond for us! Thank you !!

Marie DiGiovine made our special day absolutely wonderful! I knew when I first spoke to Marie on the phone that she would be PERFECT to officiate our ceremony and I was right! Her attention to the little details we shared about our courtship really served to personalize the entire service. She incorporated ourchildren which was so important to us. Marie, where do I begin?! Marie is such a warm loving kind soul. I have not met many people like her in my life. She made my wedding day so memorable for my husband Brandon and I. We got married June 6th in Santa rosa beach and Marie personalized our ceremony vows by speaking to us individually and included Brandons two daughters in the ceremony as well. It was so special to the both of us! Everything she spoke was done so professionally and uniquely. I have so many guest that told me that she definitely made the ceremony so interesting and enjoyable. I couldn't be more happy with Marie and I would recommend her to anyone in the area. From the moment I first talked with Marie by phone, I knew that she was THE one to perform our ceremony. Her manner of professionalism, along with her acute sensitivity to my desires, helped to create the wedding ceremony of my dreams! I would not change one thing.... Marie was an exceptional person and officiant to work with! She transformed random ideas we had in our minds into a beautiful vow renewal ceremony that we will never forget. She worked very well with our 3-year-old daughter to not only include her appropriately into the ceremony but to keep her attention and make her feel special. Marie is simply amazing ! She created the perfect ceremony for us ! It was even better than what we had imagined ! She is extremely professional and nice !
We planned our wedding from France and couldn't meet with her before the big day so she managed to have 2 FaceTime sessions with us!
She was the best !
So sweet and kind ! so professional and passionate !
She really loves her job and i can't find the right words to express how beautiful the ceremony was !
Marie was extremely sweet every time we had the chance to talk to each other or to exchange emails ! She replied to each one of them so quickly !
Our friends and family couldn't stop telling us how kind she was and how much they appreciated the way she acted with each one of them ! she has great manners and is so caring !

We were beyond blessed to have Marie as our wedding officiant! We only met her once, a few months before our wedding day, but it felt like we had known her for years. Marie is very personable, caring, warm, professional, creative & organized. She is very skilled as a speaker and her delivery is exceptional. She was able to set the tone for our ceremony-we wanted her to be funny and informal, but still perform a “traditional religious wedding” She executed our vision for the ceremony perfectly! Our family just adored her! She had everyone laughing one moment and crying tears the next. Marie also knows the right questions to ask when planning with you. We enjoyed the fact that she was always willing to offer suggestions regarding our ceremony but remained focused that it was about us. She was so organized and forward thinking that she documented the sunset time for that specific day (months in advanced) to make sure that we were going to have ample sunlight for our outdoor ceremony. Marie moves around during the ceremony-we never thought that this was important, but it really is CRITICAL to ensure that when your photographer is taking pictures during the ceremony, that there is not someone standing awkwardly behind you. We just got our pictures back, and we are so thankful that Marie knew to do this! She worked really well with our photographer, Vera, who is equally as wonderful. Marie truly is one of a kind! She is very passionate about what she does and puts her heart into her work. She genuinely cares about the people she is marrying and she provided such a beautiful, personable, unique ceremony for our big day. We were truly honored to have her and recommend her wholeheartedly!

Marie did an amazing job performing our ceremony! She was extremely helpful about altering the "normal" way a ceremony is performed in order to accommodate my husband's phobia of being up in front of people. She called a few times before the wedding day to make sure we were both on the same page and showed up on time the day of. She was very professional and easy to work with and I would recommend her to anyone!

Marie was wonderful! We planned this Florida destination wedding and she provided us with everything we needed to make it magical! She is the sweetest and personalized our cremony to our liking. We are a couple from overseas and therefore had to organize the whole wedding from a very long distance. Marie was extremely helpful, she suggested we skype since we couldn´t meet in person before the wedding. We talked more than an hour and she inquired many personal things about us so she could make the ceremony absolutely individual. We knew she was the perfect person for the job the moment we skyped with her over the internet. Our wedding was really the wedding we were dreaming for, everything worked out perfectly. Her performance was absolutely awesome, friendly, warm, personal. She acted very professional and at the same time took out the common tension. We plan to have a vow renewal to our 10th aniversary and hope that Marie will agree to be our Officiant again! Thank you so much for everything Marie!

I was really nervous about getting a stranger to marry my husband and I, and the thought of finding the right person was daunting. After reading glowing reviews online I contacted Marie. She officiated our elopement 11/3/14, but the first time that I spoke with her I knew that I had found that perfect person! Marie is so warm and affable, and she really sets your mind at ease. She is a true professional and really helped guide us along the ways to arrange our secular ceremony. Marie has that magical blend of professionalism, warmth, and good humor. Nothing felt rigid or stoic. Our ceremony was personal, intimate, and ultimately sincere. My husband was really touched by Marie's words and manner. He said he never expected it to be as sincere and authentic as it was. I really believe that Marie could officiate any type of ceremony (secular, non secular, vow renewal, etc) because she is passionate about her job and knows how important it is. She wants to have a glimpse into your relationship (anecdotal or through conversations) so that she can make it personal and loving. We could not have been any happier with Marie and appreciated so heartily the attention and loving detail that she injected into our big day. She is so easy to work with and so excited for you. I can't say enough how glad I am that Marie was part of our special day. From the beginning she always returned my phone calls and emails promptly and made sure every detail was exactly the way I wanted it. She even sat down with us in person to get a feel for who we really are so she could personalize our ceremony. Marie loves her job and it definitely shows through her bubbly personality and attention to detail. My friends and family loved her so much, the ceremony wouldn't have been complete without her! Oh, and she's also very military friendly which is a plus :-) 100% would recommend Marie for your special day!

Marie was highly recommended to me by a friend who used her for a vow renewal. From the moment I contacted her to inquire about hiring her for our destination wedding in Destin, FL all the way through the ceremony, she was amazing and great to work with. She was so very sweet and our ceremony was beautiful. She tailored out ceremony to be very personal and intimate. The weather was forecasted to be rainy but even up to the last minute she was willing to be flexible about the time of our ceremony to accommodate the weather which was a relief for me. The weather ended up being perfectly beautiful(just hot). Marie enjoys what she does and her passion shows in her work. We were very happy with our ceremony! I highly recommend Marie for any wedding ceremony or vow renewal!

Marie was so incredibly lovely and accommodating! We planned our destination wedding from afar and she was always quick to respond to my emails. I loved speaking to her over the phone prior to our wedding -- we really got a feel of who she was and we knew she would work hard to make our ceremony perfect. Marie made our ceremony absolutely wonderful! She met with my husband and I several months in advance to get to know us better and really personalize our ceremony. That helped put us at ease and be more relaxed on the big day. On the day of she showed up ahead of time and was very professionally dressed. She did a beautiful blessing and even had a little surprise excerpt of words from my husband to me. It was very touching and we were happy we selected her as our officiant. Marie was very Professional. She personalized our vows. I was surprised at how ease Marie made me feel. She spoke with us to get to know us better. She was dressed professionally even though it was hotter than hot outside!
