A Fairytale Amongst Redwoods

Katherine provided us with a beautiful venue and a personal service that my wife and I will cherish for the rest of our lives. Katherine was very professional, kind, and thoughtful. She did a fantastic job with accommodating our last minute needs. And made our wedding day very special. We would highly recommend her!

We found the perfect officiant

Katherine was exactly what we were looking for in an officiant. We wanted an ordained minister who embraced the traditional religious beliefs we were raised with as well as the spirituality we currently live. Her peaceful demeanor matched ours and helped to keep us grounded during the ceremony.

Katherine showed up to our home on time. She wrote our vows with little editing from us and performed the ceremony with a perfect mix of serenity and comforting humor. She gave us a beautiful experience.

Very special and memorable ceremony

Katherine officiated our small, non-religious wedding ceremony in November 2021 and we were beyond pleased with how it went. She brought the perfect balance of intimacy and levity to the ceremony, and we heard from several of our loved ones that it was one of the most touching ceremonies they have witnessed. Katherine was very accommodating and reliable throughout the planning process too. Would definitely recommend Katherine!

Awesome officiant

We had Rev. Katherine officiate our wedding and couldn’t have picked anyone better. She was communicative and flexible. Going in my husband and I had no clue what we wanted but we ended up with the most gorgeous ceremony that everyone was teary eyed and talking about after! Loved loved loved her!

Wonderful, Warm, and Professional!

Rev. Katherine created a beautiful ceremony for us with the perfect balance of solemnity, joy, and lightheartedness.
I was impressed with the attention and consideration she gave us even knowing we were having a small, simple wedding with only a few guests. All of her communication was timely and thorough. From the initial consultation conversation through to the touchbase the night before, she took the time to make sure we were happy with the vows and comfortable knowing what to do during each part of the ceremony. She brought unique touches to the ceremony like including family and friends and acknowledging those who were unable to attend but here in their hearts.

We did an outdoor ceremony and Rev. Katherine was very flexible and openminded, game for a small hike to get to our spot and unfazed by windy weather the day of. Her knowledge and experience in officiating in the Bay Area is apparent and I was grateful she so readily shared her advice and recommendations with us. The combination of professionalism, kindness, and humor that Rev. Katherine brought to the preparation and ceremony was just fantastic, allowing us to relax knowing we were in great hands.
I can’t recommend Rev. Katherine enough. I’m so happy to have chosen her as our officiant and thankful that she graced us with her gift in crafting and leading such a wonderful ceremony.

A perfect ceremony during difficult times

In a nutshell - Katherine saved the day.
My wife and I had everything planned before COVID-19 shut everything down and let almost cancel the whole wedding.
We could arrange a lot of it by ourselves, but we needed an officiant and Katherine immediately agreed with only a few. She directly understood our situation, helped us to arrange everything given the new circumstances and made us feel having a perfect wedding - even though this was difficult at that time. The ceremony was intimate (obviously) and personal as we worked together to personalize and emotionalize the blessings, prayers and farewells and with the families and friends joining on Zoom - she made all of us feel like it is a big family gathering. That moment was indeed special, and given the special circumstances, made even more special through her. Thank you.

Super prepared and flexible.

We were struggling to find someone to serve as officiant and booked Katherine within the last month of planning. We are both pretty indecisive about particulars, and Katherine's preparedness and flexibility really dissolved all of our trepidation in short order. She was able to offer her expertise, work with our desires, and delivered a beautiful ceremony seemingly with ease. I had multiple people tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and she was a large part of it.

A Wonderful Wedding Officiant!

Rev. Katherine was a comforting and calming influence throughout the planning process and during the ceremony. The video meetings before the wedding were very helpful and set our minds at ease. Her ceremony ideas were thoughtful and fun, and still allowed room for our ideas. Through each step she kept the focus on our love for each other. She was also very prompt, professional and a pleasure to work with.

Rev. Katherine was outstanding! Instead of just going off of a standard script, she met with us and discussed the ceremony, then made changes to reflect who we are. Our ceremony was a reflection of our personalities and who we are as a couple. It was funny, heartwarming, and kept our guests entertained, all at the same time. Coming from the East Coast we looked for someone we could work with remotely to design just the wedding we wanted - Katherine was perfect. She was interested in us as a couple, had great suggestions for how to build a ceremony including providing a starting template, and worked with us as we made changes to the ceremony. We were fortunate in that she had been the Officiant at weddings at the Panama Hotel before, and was able to make suggestions regarding the venue. On the day of the wedding she arrived early so we could make last-minute adjustments to the layout, and ran us through a quick rehearsal so that we knew which way to turn and when it was our time to participate. Katherine guided us through the vows we made, so that we didn't have to memorize them, and was a source of support and humor throughout the process of working together and especially during the ceremony. For example, when one of the children insisted on shedding the flowers and then ran behind a nearby plant, we all laughed and incorporated the hijinks into the ceremony. When I ad libed something, Katherine went with it and expanded upon my point. She was a steady rock of support and humor, and really seemed to enjoy the event, along with us. If we had to choose again, we’d definitely go with Katherine.

We are from out of state and our redwoods wedding couldn't have been more perfect; all thanks to Katherine.

From our first connection, Katherine made us feel as if we were the only people in the world. Her calming and collected approach provided us with guidance as she lead us through our wedding planning, complete with venue, vows, flowers, photography, vacation cottage and celebration location.

She is a spiritual gift.

Every aspect was so well done and personal; there isn't a rating high enough to sing my praises for her.

My husband and I could not have been happier with our ceremony. Katherine was really easy to work with. She had all these really wonderful and unique ceremony options that helped add a personalized touch to our ceremony that really made it feel personalize. She's also a wonderful writer--every part of the ceremony was so thoughtfully thought through and really spoke to everyone about the meaningfulness of marriage. You go through several drafts to make sure your ceremony is perfect, which we really appreciated. Your wedding ceremony is special and truly a once in a lifetime moment and Katherine made it unique and memorable. Many guests came to us and told us how sweet and special the ceremony was for this. She also gave us last minute pointers to make sure we knew exactly what to do and calmed our nerves. We really felt like we were in good hands with someone who truly believed in the power of love and happiness. Thank you, Katherine!

Katherine was just great. We did it in Muir Woods. Katherine knew the Woods like the back of her hand. Highly recommend that, what a great site! She made the ceremony just perfect with just a little effort on our part to make it our own. It was superb, a lovely ceremony we'll remember forever and ever!

Our simple family backyard wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful and immensely meaningful because of Katherine’s meticulous planning. She made an effort to get to know us ahead of time and walked us through various options for a ceremony that was was completely “us”. Katherine was absolutely amazing. From the video call before the wedding, to the follow up emails and then the actual ceremony, she was both professional, kind, and helpful. She helped us customize the ceremony to be exactly what we and our families wanted. During the ceremony she walked us through all of the steps, and helped out my husband when he got nervous saying his part. It was a beautiful ceremony, everyone loved her, and she even dealt with sending in the marriage license.

We made the best choice with Katherine. She was easy to work with (we live overseas and so our initial meetings were done via Skype, and the final meeting just before the big day was at her lovely and warm home), giving us a framework and advice, but also total autonomy in crafting our ceremony and vows - ours were very untraditional.
On the day, having her calm, confident, and joyful presence was exactly what we needed to cut through the stress of it all. She arrived early and kept me calm and laughing through the waiting for everyone to arrive (we got married on a beach, which was very windy that day! She made it fun and kept me warm, too!) - this is why you want a professional, I had every confidence Katherine would roll with the punches, whatever came our way that day. Her loving energy is just what you want standing with you and your partner on that special day!

We met with her at her home in Mill Valley to discuss our ideas for the ceremony. We were incorporating our young adults into the vows as well and she thought of the perfect way to do it.

She worked with us to edit the wording so that it was just right. She guided us through during the ceremony and we all felt very comfortable. Our guests thought it was just perfect!

I really do not know where to begin. She is is just all around amazing. We had a last minute civil ceremony in Muir Woods, which she was contacted by us only 2 weeks before, and Katherine put everything so fast together, it was amazing. The ceremony was personal, sweet, funny, and perfect. She helped us with endless ideas like where to eat after the ceremony, gathered our wedding group together at the woods as she patiently waited for my late group, and even found the perfect spot for us to get married in Muir woods. She even did a wonderful job saying some phrases in Spanish for us. Our wedding was scheduled on a certain day and it poured that day in the woods, and Katherine moved her whole schedule to accommodate our new date. My husband and I felt such calmness and peace from her as she helped us with our nervousness on our day, that in return made us feel the same. We love her. She was perfect for our wedding, and we are so thankful for all her help, patients, time, and effort.

We could not have asked for a better officiant! Katherine was kind, professional, humorous and personal from the first phone call. She was accommodating and offered lots of needed advice. My husband and I were planning on writing our own vows but we ended up liking the ones that she wrote for us so much that we only had to edit a few areas. Many of our friends and family continue to tell us it was the most heartfelt and beautiful ceremony they had ever attended. If you are looking for an officiant who is open, warm and experienced look no further!

Katherine is extremely flexible and easy going. She caters to the needs of her client with such kindness and professionalism. She went above and beyond to make sure we were prepared and felt confident about our wedding ceremony. She both provides examples of ceremony scripts, but is also very open to input and changes based on the couple. Several of our guests asked us where we found Katherine as they were very impressed with her delivery of the ceremony- and so were we! We give her our highest recommendation.

I am so happy we chose Rev. Katherine to officiate our wedding. From the first time we spoke on the phone I felt an immediate comfort and peace while talking to her. She offered many fun and meaningful ideas to add to our ceremony and she was genuinely interested in getting to know my partner and I during the planning stages of the wedding. Katherine was a fantastic officiant. From the first phone conversation, we knew she'd work with us to carefully create a ceremony we'd love, and she certainly did that; but she also directed the rehearsal and led the ceremony itself - both of which were flawless. She provided us with a script from which we could easily develop just the right language and components for our ceremony. Working with Katherine was the best decision we could have made! Katherine is truly a fantastic person and a outstanding wedding officiant.
Working with Katherine to prepare the ceremony was very easy, within the first call we had with her, we felt like we'd known her for a while and were already friends.

Katherine is very very experienced, calm and fun! She helped us figure out what we wanted and made her own suggestions, she put together a great ceremony and prepared everything in advance.

The ceremony was perfect, all our guests gave us feedback that they were touched and that they absolutely loved it, that it was the best wedding ceremony they had seen!

I highly recommend Katherine! I loved working with her and would advise everyone to do so!

We can only speak praise and offer our gratitude for the service Katherine provided. Prior to the day of our wedding we had only communicated with Katherine via phone and email, regardless, she was always attentive to our wants and responsive to our requests, so much so, that she came in to San Francisco the day before Thanksgiving to meet us at City Hall.

During our phone conversations Katherine asked questions about our relationship and time together, how we imagined our ceremony, including the degree of spiritual over/under tone we preferred and how we'd like her to present herself (in formal robe, or casual). As a result, she wrote vows that spoke to who are as a couple and created an atmosphere of serenity and love.

We are grateful to have had Katherine officiate our wedding and will gladly recommend her services.

We found Katherine on Yelp for our wedding. She helped us create a beautiful and personal ceremony. We met with Katherine at her house early on to start planning, then followed up with a few phone calls as the wedding approached. She was always very helpful and thought of every detail. Both families loved her at her at the rehearsal (which we had in her back yard). The day of everything went perfect. Many of our friends asked how we met her, and couldn't believe we found her online since the ceremony was so personal. We are so happy we used Katherine and highly recommend her.

We couldn't have wished for a more perfect ceremony. Katherine's natural warmth, thoughtfulness and attention to detail made the moment incredibly special. As a bridesmaid, I had the opportunity to spend time with Katherine at the rehearsal as well as the ceremony. She did a wonderful job preparing the entire wedding party for the event. We all knew what to expect which gave us confidence during the wedding.

The actual ceremony was stellar. She engaged the audience in a warm way, making them feel part of the service. Katherine struck the perfect balance - incorporating beautiful, poignant moments as well as light hearted ones. Afterwards, several guests commented on how special the service was. I highly recommend Katherine, who I’m sure will put her heart into making your special day, memorable.

For seven years we longed to bring our union fully into the 21st century. When SCOTUS landed on the right side of history striking down DOMA and upholding federal Judge Vaughn Walker’s decision that Prop. 8 was unconstitutional, our search to find a very special wedding officiant began. After reading Katherine’s spiritual philosophy and her glowing reviews, we were drawn to meet her in person, and it was clear that we had found the perfect soul to officiate our ceremony.

Katherine wrote a wedding ceremony for us that was deeply meaningful. Her presence was relaxed and professional, which helped me relax, and she provided spontaneous levity and warmth during the ceremony. Many people commented that the ceremony was beautiful, personal, and very unique.

When we hired Rev.Katherine, we got much more than we expected. She was very flexible about the things we wanted to include in our ceremony, helping us with finding the right words that expressed our thoughts and feelings. We had a beach wedding and we knew it would be sunny, but nobody expected high winds, and Rev. Katherine handled the issue very smoothly and professionally. Although our friends and family were bundled up and teeth were chattering with the cold wind, the ceremony was warm and beautiful, and she kept it light. I recommend her!

Reverend Katherine Revoir was the most wonderful officiant for our wedding. Not only did she do an amazing job on the day of the wedding, but she was a true partner in planning with us to make the ceremony uniquely ours. She is an open-minded and caring person, who has an easy-going personality, but she is very organized and knows how to keep things running smoothly. Katherine helped us tailor our vows to fit our own personal beliefs, and she suggested thoughtful ideas for when we weren't sure what to do. We had just the right amount of family participation to keep everyone happy, and to keep the ceremony at a good length. Her experience with all different levels of spirituality, and her supportive demeanor made us feel very comfortable with the part of the wedding that is probably the most personal and intimate. Katherine also was great with the details, making sure the appropriate marriage forms were signed by the right people at the right time. We highly recommend Reverend Katherine Revoir, as she is the most professional and personable officiant you could ever hope to preside over your special day.

We chose Katherine to officiate our wedding because we wanted a Pagan ceremony and had heard that she could help us create it. We had some rough ideas but didn’t know how to put them together. Katherine’s experience and wisdom guided us, and the result was exactly the feeling we wanted: sacred, spiritual, romantic, and meaningful. It was easy to trust her warm and professional manner.
