Best Bilingual Officiant
Edna was very responsive and made sure we were taken care of. They were able to take care of filing and notarizing for us as well. Our officiant was Betty who gave a wonderful bilingual ceremony. Perfect for both the English and Spanish portions. Wonderful service.

Dream Service!
Edna's team was an absolute dream to work with for my wedding day! The system they had in place was super clear and easy to follow in order for them to write the perfect ceremony script. Also, super helpful for obtaining our marriage license out of state where we were getting married. They accommodated all our requests for our bilingual faith-based ceremony and were always available for any questions. Lisy officiated our wedding and we couldn't be happier with her execution.

Amazing officiant
Edna was our officiant in the beautiful Red Rock setting. We provided her with a few details about ourselves and she wrote amazing words that felt like she knew us for years. She was so friendly and did such a great job. We couldn’t recommend her enough.

Amazing Bilingual Ceremony!
Wedding Ceremonies by Edna was fantastic! We communicated with Edna throughout the progress and she was very helpful. Edna even found a replacement officiant the day before our wedding so our wedding day wouldn’t be affected. Juan was our officiant and he was amazing! We could not have imagined a better bilingual ceremony! We definitely recommend her services!

Great Officiant Service!
We were so excited to have Edna be a part of our big day, but since she unexpectedly moved out of state she had her associate, Lisy, step in. They took care of everything for us in terms of the marriage license and having it sent off to be made official and filed with the state. She came to our rehearsal which helped to ease our minds before the big day so we would have a better idea and know what to expect when doing it for real on our actual big day. Lisy made sure to meet with us via FaceTime before all of the festivities a month or so in advance to get an idea of what we wanted out of our ceremony and make sure everything would be in order. I recommend asking about the wine ceremony which we included in ours and it definitely helped to take the edge off, drinking to the past, present, and future at the alter before saying the 'I dos'! They are affordable, professional and experienced - what more could a bride want!?

Edna was great to work with from start to finish! Our officiant was Betty and from the start, I could tell that Edna and Betty had a great relationship and instantly felt comfortable with their service. They listened to what was important to us and our ceremony was perfect.
It was very important to us to have a bilingual ceremony and Betty made sure that all of our friends and family members understood our ceremony and did not feel left out.
I would definitely recommend Wedding Ceremonies by Edna to any friends or family.

Edna did an absolutely phenomenal job officiating our wedding! We met with here virtually twice and maintained communication via email but during this time she Really picked up on our personalities and created a ceremony that was romantic, personal and overall just beautiful. She was so easy to work with and extremely responsive with any questions or concerns that we had. We selected to have her file our marriage license for us and it was probably one of our best decisions. She took care of everything, needing a us simply for acknowledgements and signatures. She then even provided tips for changing my name! Edna is such a kind woman with a beautiful heart and a great sense of humor. We were honored to be married by her and would recommend her to any couple!

Beautiful ceremony
We were supposed to get married in March 2020 but due to COVID-19 we had to postpone our wedding. We rescheduled and we couldn’t get our officiant. This person recommended us to reach to Edna. When I talked to Edna, I felt relieved. I really wanted a bilingual officiant and Edna was perfect! She helped me and my fiancé feel comfortable during the ceremony and it went great. We included the lazo tradition and all the words that Edna spoke were so meaningful. I was very happy on how things turned out. I highly recommend Edna!

Wonderful officiants who made our wedding special!
Edna and Betty were a dream to work with for our wedding. We were having difficulty finding a bilingual officiant in Gainesville and another officiant recommended them to us (that's how highly respected they are!!) and we are so glad they did! From the start they worked with us to identify what type of a wedding we wanted, gave us sample vows and made us feel confident it would be a beautiful ceremony and it was.
On our wedding day, Betty arrived well before the start of the ceremony and delivered a wonderful bilingual ceremony, becoming best friends with my grandmother in the process! My advice to you is to hire them ASAP, they are professional, warm and so easy to work with.

One of her associates performed the ceremony and was wonderful as well. Both women were very calm and wholesome. My wedding day was perfect! I am beyond impressed by Edna, I truly could not ask for a better officiant. She made our special day so personal, with her beautifully spoken words.
I have to start with the beginning, the introduction. I was captured by her personal touch, which was the moment she called me. I knew at that point I wanted her to perform our ceremony. However after speaking with her in skype, she not only wanted to know our story, which she turned into a beautiful love story at the ceremony. Edna also asked if we would like to honor anyone that could not be there, which meant the world to me. I was impressed with the way she love's love, and her story that got her to where she is now

Edna is by far one of the best officiants in the state of Florida. HIGHLY recommend her. She is also very reasonable in terms of cost and handles the marriage license process from Start to finish with such professionalism. She is also very hands on at the rehearsal and peovidws such great ideas to ensure all goes smoothly, on time and as planned. Our original officiant had not called or texted back confirming being there for our wedding so we started to worry, Edna was able to get everything together for us same day! A beautiful ceremony!
Juan was simply a delight as our wedding officiant at The Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor! On our big day, he kept the atmosphere light, adding in a little humor to ease our nervousness, and made everyone feel at home. Edna was great with communicating with us through the whole process, being very responsive to emails, phone calls, or scheduling a meeting in person. The entire process from consultation, rehearsal, communication, and wedding day were magic. Edna went so above and beyond for us and genuinely cared for us as a couple. We cannot recommend Edna enough. We planned our wedding from over 1,000 miles away and didn't meet most of our vendors, including Edna, until the day of the wedding. You'd think we'd met 100 times. She handled all of our paperwork so that on the day of the wedding we our respective siblings sign as witnesses, and that was it. No stress. As for the ceremony, Edna executed it PERFECTLY. Both the English and Spanish portions struck the perfect note, and she included all of the pieces that made it special for us. She is an incredibly warm person and a consummate professional.

She was the only officiant I found that could do marriage license via mail which helped us out of towners tremendously. She was willing to work with us on everything. Because this was a 10 year vow renewal ceremony, I had no specific expectations from her as an officiant. However, it was clear after a few emails that she was committed to ensuring that we had a more than just a ceremony. She made suggestions and was very receptive to my questions. Her price is fair and more than reasonable, she ensured that the cards that accompanied our unity cross were distributed....she even translated from English to Spanish for the benefit of family and friends who didn't speak English. She made a vow renewal ceremony as special as if it was our official wedding day!
Edna even accompanied our 10 year old son as he exited the ceremony so he wouldn't have to walk alone.

I found Edna on Thumbtack and I'm so glad I did. After my fiancé and I decided to cancel our huge wedding and opt for a smaller more intimate ceremony I was in the need for an officiant who could perform the ceremony over the Thanksgiving holiday while my daughter was in town. Edna and her husband Ed did not disappoint. Her price was more than reasonable and she treated my wedding wants with a care and professionalism beyond my expectations. Edna made great recommendations for the ceremony and acted as a planner during the event. While her husband took pictures (which was such a pleasant surprise) she made a point to make sure all of the highlights were captured from our first kiss as a couple to cutting the cake, Edna was thoughtful, responsive and kind. Edna and Ed joined us for dinner afterward and made the event extra special with her warm personality and attention to every detail. I cannot say enough about her services. Top notch all the way and every detail was covered. My intimate ceremony was more than I ever imagined and was told by attendees that it was more beautiful than anticipated on such short notice. My fiance and I called Edna to inquire about her services she explained to us what she did and we were so exited to hire her do to all the great reviews after our phone conversation with her she was going to email us a contract 3 days later I emailed her asking her for the contract she did not respond to my email, day later I send her a text again no response, I called her nothing went to voice mail kept on trying for a couple days and absolutely no response from her we then decided to hire someone else when we moved on and forgot about this experience Edna send me an email later at night the day before our rehearsal saying that she was going to meet us there ! I was so angry how was she going to just show up to our venue without even knowing anything about us it was so unprofessional I email her back asking her not to bother coming she admitted everything and apologize for not ever getting back to us i would not recommend her at all we were very disappointed .
