Fantastic Service

We had Max and his team for our wedding on 8/1/2020. They did an absolutely amazing job and we received so many compliments about them from our guests. The music and lighting were perfect and the photo booth was a big hit. Max worked with us throughout the entire process and was very responsive and accommodating. Thanks MAX and team!

Brought the party!!!

We loved working with Max!! He was fun, professional and put our mind at ease about the wedding reception. It is hard to hire a DJ without hearing them, but we hit the jackpot!! He was always responsive and available to us. Thanks for the perfect reception!

We thoroughly enjoy having Max as our DJ for our wedding. He was great and despite a few hiccups was able to provide us with an awesome experience. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding DJ!

Amazing Photobooth and playlist consultation!!

Albatross Entertainment was very professional and reliable!! The guests absolutely loved the photobooth experience! They also provided me with reception playlist consultation which was very helpful! I will definitely be recommending their services to others.

Photo booth was a crowd favorite!

Everything was amazing

I had the pleasure of booking Albatross Ent. For my wedding and we had a blast! The DJ was very prompt, professional and energetic ! He knew exactly what our guest wanted as far as music and we danced all night! My husband and I recommend them to all of our family and friends !

Albatross Entertainment is the best when it comes to providing entertainment, especially at weddings! The company performed all of the music and lighting for new husband and I wedding 11/6/15. They were very dependable and fulfilled all of our requests. The music selection was very compelling and exceeded our expectations. Everything about DJ Albatross was professional; from timeliness to keeping up with all of my requests. He made working with him very, very easy, and I highly recommend him. He also has a very good ear for music and a good vibe for keeping the music interesting! Would absolutely use him again!

We found Albatross through wedding wire and were excited to find he had great prices and reviews. We were a little nervous since we had no way to hear/experience his DJ-ing in person but we liked his personality and he was a similar age and went to the same college as my husband and I so we went for it. We gave him a list of songs we'd like and requests and it was everything we wanted and more! He setup great lights and the sound was great - he kept the party going and everyone had an incredible time. He was really easy to work with and made it an easy process. We can't say enough great things about him!! Would definitely hire him again and recommend him for anyone that wants a fun, wedding where you guests want to dance! Thanks Albatross!!

Max is a wonderful DJ. He was very easy to work with in the months leading up to our wedding. He was always quick to respond to my emails and answered many questions I had about how the reception would flow. He is always very professional. He was great at the reception and everything went perfectly. I would recommend to anyone!

Max was such an awesome and accommodating DJ. He helped us think through so many of the little details to make our reception perfect beforehand. He was professional, arrived on time, and encouraged our families and friends to have fun without being pushy or awkward. Price-wise, he was one of the more affordable options in Tuscaloosa, but I promise the quality was just as high. We had a blast with Max and would recommend him to anyone in the local Tuscaloosa/Fayette area.

I can't express enough how great Max was to work with! He was always quick to respond when I had questions leading up to my day and was great about helping me plan everything I needed from a DJ. Helped make sure our ceremony and reception flowed perfectly. You won't find a better value than this guy. All our guests are still talking about what a great time they had at our reception and it wouldn't have been possible without our amazing DJ. I would highly recommend him.

Great experience. I did not have any interaction with our DJ since I was coming in from out of town for the wedding, but all communication with Max leading up to the event was great. The DJ was flexible and was willing to move when we changed plans due to rain. He was super excited to be at our wedding and was gracious enough to play songs off of the list that our guests had suggested. He was also kind enough to change the songs when ones came on that I didn't like ;)

Also, best value I found in the Tuscaloosa/Birmingham area after researching for days! Got married in Centreville, AL at The Oaks.

Max was great.! He knew exactly what he was doing and made our wedding go by smoothly. Very professional and helpful with music and other things as well. And if there is a hiccup in things he is very quick at improvising or figuring out what to do.

Max is the bomb! If you are looking to have a fun event and a flexible but hard-working DJ that's on your side, then DJ Albatross is the DJ for you. We could not have asked for our reception to turn out any better than it did. Everything and every vendor played a part, but our guests had the best time because of the wonderful selection and timing of the music. Wish we could do it all over again!

I found out about Albatross Entertainment through the company website, which is extremely straight-forward, comprehensive, and unlike most wedding vendors, lists prices (and allows for easy online payment via PayPal). Since I was planning my wedding from out of state, transparency, flexibility, and clear expectations were very important to me, and that's exactly what Max delivers. He was the one wedding vendor I only had to meet with once, and I never had to chase him down for information. He responded to my emails promptly, met with us when we could manage to be in town, and was a complete professional. He showed up, set up, and performed the day of flawlessly. He was approachable and took requests from our guests; the only way he could have met our expectations more would be if our reception had been four hours longer so he could play all our music. He even advised us on timing of our first dance to make our reception absolutely perfect. If you're having an event around Tuscaloosa and need a DJ, I can't recommend Albatross Entertainment highly enough. You won't find a better value or a less worry-free experience anywhere.

Max was extremely easy to work with and made our day such a joy! I was planning our wedding from out of town and we only spoke over the phone once and didn't meet each other until the big day but he kept our reception on track and really kept the party going! I would definitely recommend Albatross Entertainment for any event!

We had Max as the DJ at our wedding and he was fantastic. My husband is Korean and we asked Max to play Korean music. Even though he had not heard the music until the night before he did a fantastic job keeping the spirit up and make sure the music flowed smoothly. He was able to act quickly when music needed fading or if people seemed to be dragging. We also had a translator work closely with him giving announcements and that went very well. I would definitely recommend him to others for their events.

Everything was perfect. It could not have gone better. Everyone was out on the dance floor. I had a few people tell me that they don't dance but that they danced at our wedding. It was a blast and the DJ did awesome.

DJ Albatross just DJ'd my wedding and it was PHENOMENAL!!! Everyone said it was the best wedding they had ever been to. He really knows what he's doing and kept everyone on the dance floor all night!!! LOVE HIM!!

Max will always be my entertainer of choice for any future events. He exceeded my expectations. I felt like I was meeting my friend whenever we met for wedding day plans. He was always on time and very professional and I could tell that he was serious about his work and wanted to make sure I was happy with his work. So the day of I didn't ask an questions about Max because just like during planning he was on top off things and did everything exactly like he said. Wedding planning can be very stressful but it helps a lot to be able to work with someone you can just pay and trust they're gonna give it their all and that explains Max Scruggs. Thanks Max again!!! Our wedding was a huge hit, largely due to the quality of services provided by albatross. We even changed our first dance song on the day of the wedding and he took care of everything. It was really a huge help to have him keep all the activities of the evening on time and do the announcements. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend using Albatross Entertainment!!

Max was great! He cared about the wedding and wanted to make sure it was the perfect blend of music for us. We didn't give him much direction other than "we like everything" and he did a good job of keeping people on the dance floor until the end of the night. We were very pleased with his service!

DJ Albatross was GREAT! I had a band booked, but the lead singer had to have neck surgery and canceled 1 week before the wedding. I had heard from a friend about DJ Albatross and contacted him. He was able to work with us last minute and do everything we needed. His prices are real resonable and his music choices were great. A lot of my guests said it was the best wedding they had been to in a while. THANK YOU DJ Albatross! It was the best night of my life!

We were so happy with the services provided by Albatross Entertainment. Any song we asked for was played exactly when we asked for it to be played. Our guests were also very happy from the youngest to the oldest, any song that was requested was available and played for them. We still have people talking about how much they enjoyed it. We will be using them again for any other functions we need!

The DJ service was amazing! Max was very attentive, professional, and flexible. He made sure that our reception was one to remeber! He worked with us on the timeline of events and did them as we were ready! I would most definintely use this DJ service again and recomend him to a friend!

Amazing DJ! Kept the party going!

My brothers wedding was non-stop fun! Albatross Entertainment was with us every step of the way! We used them for the engagement and rehearsal and dinners before the wedding! The music was appropriate for everyone at all events! They responded quickly, were very professional and knew how to keep the party going!
