Laura DJ’d and was the day of coordinator for my wedding. She was amazing and handled the whole day perfectly. She accommodated all our music requests and the dance floor was super fun. She kept the day very organized and I never had to worry about anything. -

We can't say enough about Laura! We decided to work with Laura after meeting her in 2019 for our 2020 wedding. Obviously COVID messed up our original plans and we had to find a new venue for 2020. Laura was so flexible and agreed to travel to our new venue that was around 1.5 hours away from the original. When we couldn't do our wedding in 2020, Laura made rescheduling easy and worked with us throughout the year. Throughout two years Laura was easy to communicate with, made the music portion easy to figure out, and was able to throw in great suggestions to fit our wedding. The day of, Laura did an amazing job! Music was on point with everything. She even added in the shoe game which worked out perfectly with a small hole in the schedule. Laura kept people on the dance floor for OVER TWO HOURS. We all danced until 10pm when the wedding was originally planned for a 9pm end. She played great music, knew the crowd, and kept the party going. Thank you Laura for the work you put in over the past two years! We for sure made the right choice with you! Anyone looking for a DJ should contact Laura ASAP and book her. Best DJ in the PNW! -

Working with Laura and her photographer, Steve, was such an amazing experience! Laura helped make our wedding SO fun and memorable. She quickly caught on to mine and my husband's personalities and captured them in the music she played. Her photographer listened to the poses I preferred and was able to perfect them for pictures. I would 100% recommend working with Laura whenever the opportunity arises. -

Best wedding dance party ever!
Laura was an absolute gem to work with for our wedding ceremony and reception! She was very personable, timely, organized, and fun! She made the process of finding music for our special day extremely easy. And, she kept the party going all night long! I would book her again in a heartbeat! -

The DJ and MC services that Laura provided were excellent! The song choices fit our request perfectly, the online planning tool was a huge help, and her communication was quick and professional. Everyone had a great time at our wedding and it’s in large part due to Laura! -

We didn't realize that our first dance song was 6min long, so she was able to fade it out shorter without anyone really noticing. I would definitely recommend her and this company to anyone looking for a DJ at a reasonable price. -

She played all of the songs perfectly for the ceremony and had perfect song choices for the reception. Thanking her at the end of the night, it was nice to casually chat with her. She really seems to enjoy what she does.

Suki Sent on 08/21/2017We met Laura with We Heart Weddings at the Seattle Wedding Show, and even though we really liked her, we did not book the company until a couple months later. Despite our waiting to book, Laura still honored the Wedding Show special price, which we didn't even ask about (though we did mention how we found her).
Michael was our DJ for our wedding, and he was fabulous! We had separate areas for the ceremony/reception, cocktail hour, and dancing due to the way our venue was laid out, but he was able to make it work with a single system (as there was only room for a single system). There were also issues and interference with the wireless sound system because we were so close to Puget Sound, but he and our officiant worked out a solution, and we never even noticed an issue or knew about any issues until after the fact.
Michael is clearly an experienced and talented DJ with great instincts. He was able to beautifully transition each of the three songs we used for our processional. He also had to edit one of our processional songs because there were sections of it that we did not want, and he did a great job with that. In addition, we forgot to show him our final pose for our first dance (so he could fade the music away at the right time), but he figured it out for himself, and it was seamless and perfect. We had a weird request for cocktail hour music (movie soundtrack scores, such as any John Williams score) and a vague "easy listening" description as his guideline for dinner music. The music he played for both was perfect as was the sound level.
Michael also was great with the dance party and played music our crowd loved dancing to (without us having to give him a detailed song list; we gave him some guidelines and about five must-play songs). Thank you so much Michael and We Heart Weddings! We had an incredible wedding, and you were a large part of making that happen!

Wished the DJ would have been a bit louder at the wedding (no one knew that the cake was being cut), but no other problems. -

Jillian Sent on 09/22/2009Michael Fort is THE BEST! He went above and beyond as a DJ. He did the normal DJ stuff and then he did the not so normal DJ stuff like filling our water glasses (because our caterers stunk) and made sure we (the bride and groom) always had a drink. The dance floor was packed the entire time and he played every song we had requested. He even picked out our ceremony music because we didn't know what we wanted.
Their online planning tools are great because you can plan out the whole day/night really easily. I booked them from the wedding show so I got a reallllly good deal, like a super good deal. So I suggest talking to them at the wedding show. And if he is available request Michael Fort specifically (he is the owner).
I also used them as the videographer and while I haven't seen the final product yet I'm sure we will be happy with it. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on a video because we really just wanted it documented. I can't wait to see it though!
The only thing I gave them less stars on was responsiveness because it does take them awhile to get back to you, but I knew that from other reviews so I wasn't bothered by it to much. -

Tazzmarie Sent on 09/27/2011My DJ cancelled last min and Laura jumped in last min to be my DJ... The cememony music was really quiet and you could barely hear it... but it was okay... She did play good dancing songs though... overall it fine. She was really nice.
I would tell people to use them... Just don't expect them to respond quickly... I never even got a contract or bill till after the wedding...
