After a long and careful search, I decided to hire White Oak Studios to capture my wedding at a breathtaking private villa in Laguna Beach this past year. From our very first conversation, Troy's easy-going nature and calming presence put all my worries to rest. He answered all my questions with patience and understanding, knowing I had a clear vision for my wedding. Troy and his team not only met but exceeded my expectations. They were professional, punctual, incredibly friendly, and highly receptive to our needs.
The artistic and picturesque moments they captured are nothing short of magical. I am forever grateful to be able to relive one of the happiest days of my life through their stunning photos and videos. Each shot truly showcases the artistry and talent behind the lens. If you're looking for someone to document your special day in a cinematic yet natural and candid style, I wholeheartedly recommend White Oak Studios. Troy and his team were a joy to work with, demonstrating their expertise in every frame.

If you’re on the hunt for an amazing wedding photographer + videographer, look no further. Troy and his team are beyond incredible!!! They are so professional, kind, and so so talented. From the moment we met Troy for our engagement photoshoot, we clicked right away. He made us feel like movie stars- every photo was so so beautiful. On our wedding day, it was such a breeze working with him, he made us feel so comfortable and he got the most incredible shots of us. We could not be happier!!! Troy and the entire White Oaks Studios team are the best of the best! Absolutely would recommend!! -

I dont even know where to start. Troy and his team were beyond amazing. From the very first encounter, he was so professional and answered all my questions in such a timely manner. He really put my mind at ease during the planning stages. Not only that, but Troy really has a good eye and his work is just beautiful. His team also were really easy to work with and they all captured some beautiful moments. My wedding photos and video are just insanely gorgeous thanks to Troy and Co. 10/10 recommend! -

Amazing!!!!
Troy and his team went above and beyond to make my henna night and wedding magical. Not only does Troy and his team have an amazing eye for detail but capture such beautiful moments. I am not from California originally but my experience was smooth sailing and I trusted them with the whole process. Overall my pictures came out gorgeous! My fiancé and I were on the hunt for a professional, fun, and editorial style photographer for our engagement photo shoot/party. When I say Troy delivered just that - and even beyond - I am not exaggerating. He helped guide us for poses and was super flexible, accommodating, and friendly throughout the process. He even arrived early to make sure that everything would be smooth sailing. Antonio did our engagement party shots, and did an amazing job with those as well. Overall, we had a really positive experience, and can’t wait to have them for our wedding! -

Amazing crew! I felt like a movie star on my wedding day
Troy and his team are so amazing! I wish I could have remembered everyone’s names because they were all so amazing. He had 3 photographers and 2 videographers on my wedding day in August. I’m not good at posing for photos/videos but his team worked with us and directed us on what to do and our photos came out amazing!
For the video portion, it came out so beautiful. It was everything I could ask for. They even used a drone to capture all of the aerial views.
Turnover time wasn’t too bad either! It took about 2 months!
Overall, I would definitely recommend booking with them! Everyone was very professional and easy going. They also helped me include a prank on my husband in our photos.

I want to start off by saying that Antonio and Michael were beyond exceptional the level of professionalism they had I was very pleased. We just got married and we only booked for video since we already had our photographers but even though we haven’t seen the material yet I trust 100% that they will come out amazing because of the creativity that went into shooting that day. The detail, the way they guided us. I would hire them again in a heartbeat. Please look no further these are the people you want for your event. I can’t wait to see the end material. I am beyond excited ! It really was a dream and they contributed to catching something I will remember forever. -

Professional, talented, and groundbreaking. These are a few words I would use to describe his work and team. Troy works with you every step of the way to make sure create your vision is captured. I may have had a few pre-pro calls to go over my storyboard and vision. He was kind, patient, and willing to hear me out. If you want it done right, go with White Oak Studios. They'll take care of you! 11/10 recommended. -

Troy, Iwona, and Antonio were our dream team to work with the day of our wedding. They were easygoing, worked quickly and worked with so much finesse - we felt taken care of without any pressure. I had meetings with Troy leading up to the wedding and he heard us, collaborated with us, recommended some great ideas, and it all came together beautifully! THE FINAL PRODUCT IS A DREAM!!! Troy and Danielle sent us teasers the next day, the turnaround for the photos was in record time! Troy and his team were fun to work with while keeping it professional. They were present and got every important shot. I could not have imagined a better experience for the most important day of our lives! THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Troy did an amazing job at capturing our special day in Mexico. It was raining and we had a lot of the last-minute adjustments, but that didn't stop him from taking excellent photos. He is a very talented photographer and we were delighted to work with him. Moreover, we enjoy following his social media page where he tells the story of each couple in a unique way. The team at White Oaks Studios was phenomenal! As my husband and I were going through the planning phase and looking for a photographer to capture our big day, we wanted someone who was able to do so with an artistic and romantic lens. The team was extremely prompt and easy to communicate with, we utilized them to capture our engagement session as well as our wedding day. Our photographer was extremely professional and easy to communicate with. He was prompt on the day of and captured every detail we wanted, leading up to our wedding we were in communication on details and they asked questions to ensure our day of was stress free and all encompassing. -

I am obsessed with my engagement photos!
My fiance and I met Troy this passed weekend for an engagement photoshoot. His passion and skill are reflected in the beautiful images he captured. He is super down to earth and friendly. An added bonus is that he has a great sense of humor and is really good at giving directions. This experience was fun and unforgettable- all thanks to Troy! I highly recommend working with Troy and his team. -

Savinie Sent on 01/03/2018There is seriously nothing negative to mention about Troy at Wave One Video. I decided to hire a videographer about 3 weeks before the wedding thinking there is no significant value with hiring a videographer. Wow, am I thankful I changed my mind! The problem with most videographers on wedding websites is that they are super cliche and they tend to the same old style videos for all weddings. I found Troy's Instagram/website and noticed he did a lot of music videos and short films. Bingo! Troy literally responded back to me within 10 minutes after my inquiry and was very open and honest about his style, his experience and pricing. Within a week, we finalized the partnership and he is traveling to Palm Springs for my wedding! He responds to texts and emails instantaneously. Provides feedback and recommendation for the type of video you like. Show him a video you found online and he will likely create something very similar. What I love about him is how approachable he is, his excitement to be part of your special day and determination to create a video you love. Me and my husband thought the best vendor was definitely Troy....the last vendor we decided to hire! If we lived in the same city, i think we will be good friends! Troy got my video to me within 2 weeks and I am in love. You would be a fool to not hire this guy because he is a true artist and has a passion for what he does. OH! He also does photography and they are just as AMAZING as his videos. Thanks, Troy! <3
