Visit the site. Choose the site. Look no further. The Everett P. Pope detachment of the Marine Corps League holds its annual picnic each Spring. In past years we used an outdoor venue subject to various weather conditions. Our dear friend the late Tony Chaplauske made the picnic a success year after year. He would have loved this Chapel at Waterman's Bluff. The old timers now have an air conditioned place to sit. eat, stay and enjoy the event. The children have a safe place to play right outside. Plenty of parking. Space for cooking. Convenient restrooms. Clean up is simple. We will be back.

Amazing!!! Beautiful place, helpful staff, and they are super flexible. If you just need a beautiful space to have your wedding and reception, and want the freedom of bringing your own food and decorate yourself, then this place is the place for you. Its cheaper than renting an outdoor tent, and WAY more beautiful (with awesome bathrooms and ac!). Its a hidden gem. I cried when I found it. SOO PERFECT!!

Waterman's Bluff was jaw dropping. They were very flexible and made sure that I had all the tools needed for an incredible event. I had my wedding ceremony here and I couldn't imagine having it anywhere else. The greenery outside the chapel made for the most beautiful photos. Do yourself a favor and take a tour here, you will fall in love!

BEAUTIFUL VENUE!!!

We scheduled a time to go see the venue and got a little tour to see all the places near the area we could do photos!

We used this venue for our ceremony and reception. Marie was great and very helpful throughout the whole process. We were able to get inside the chapel any time we needed during the planning process. We were able to have the whole venue for the entire wedding weekend allowing us to decorate however we wanted to. Beautiful location, and lots of options for great pictures. We loved having our wedding here!

We used Waterman's Bluff for our wedding ceremony and reception. This place is truly a hidden gem and I can't believe we were able to find it on such short notice. Marie was wonderful to work with and provided us with the tours and information needed to make our decision. The outside area is breathtaking and makes for a beautiful ceremony! The inside of the chapel is also very beautiful and the lights can dim or turn on all the way depending on your liking. We were allowed access to the building from Friday in order to decorate the location as well as an extra day to clean up the venue. Marie was so gracious to assist the day of the wedding by taking us in golf carts to other areas for pictures. Another perk is that you can bring in outside catering to the venue! We were extremely pleased with the location and are thankful to have found this location for our wedding!!
