Absolutely stunning work!

Everything was beautiful. They took my inspiration photos and exceeded our expectations. My bouquet brought tears to my eyes. Our flowers were vibrant, seasonal, sturdy, and fragrant. We were able to enjoy our potted arrangements for an additional week on our hotel balcony. I translated my bouquet back home and it lasted for TWO WEEKS in a vase. Just wow!

Like they saw my Pinterest board

Watanabe Floral was incredible for our wedding day. After our first consultation meeting, we were sent a rough quote and vision board. It was almost like they had spent months pouring over my Pinterest board. They can get busy during peak floral seasons (such as Mother's Day, Valentine's Day, and graduation season), but it is so worth it. Our florals were absolutely stunning and exactly what I had envisioned.

Beautiful job and easy to work with

Watanabe Floral did the most incredible job with the flowers for my wedding. I had some ideas and some specific flowers I did and didn't want in the bouquet, and they brought my vision to life and made it more beautiful than I could have imagined! I received so many compliments about the bouquets, centerpieces, and floral arch that Watanabe provided. I emailed back and forth with Cari a ton leading up to the wedding and she was always prompt and super helpful. It was very easy to work with them and I highly recommend them!

Awesome Service

Beautiful lei!

High Quality & Beautiful Flowers

Joni and Watanabe Floral were amazing to work with for our destination wedding. We were looking for a florist that was in our budget and they definitely were. Joni was very responsive via e-mail and through phone calls when e-mails were too tiring to write because I had so many questions.

The bridal and bridesmaids bouquets were beautiful and they came out just like how I asked Joni for them. The ti leaf leis and orchid leis were all beautiful. For the reception, we repurposed the bridesmaids’ bouquets and used them as the decoration for the sweetheart table and it was still beautiful. We also ordered monstera leaves and loose orchids for the reception tables. All of the flowers that we ordered for our wedding day were beautiful and fresh.

I also ordered an all-white-flower haku lei for the reception which was beautiful. I read some reviews on here complaining that the ties Watanabe uses for the haku leis are plastic or something and not actual ribbons. No one even sees it—everyone focuses on the flowers. And my haku was beautiful.

Watanabe was also very punctual when it came to delivering the flowers to where they needed to be; communication was excellent with them. They were also very patient when I had to constantly send them revision after revision.

I would highly recommend Watanabe Floral if you are looking for a high quality florist that won’t hurt your wallet.

Accommodating and helpful!

We placed a relatively small order with Watanabe Floral for our wedding, for us to pick up ourselves. They did a great job! The bouquets were lovely and the leis were gorgeous! The bridal bouquet did not come out exactly as envisioned, but they were very quick to accommodate last-minute changes!

My fiancé and I are from Nashville, Tennessee and we found Wantanabe Floral online. I emailed and worked with Joni, and she was amazing! I sent her a few inspiration photos and asked what she suggested, and she told me all of my options and a few combinations that she suggested and she outdid herself! She was wonderful to work with! Very easy to communicate with and she did a great job! She did my bouquet and my husbands boutineer!

Dayna and Watanabe Florist were wonderful. It was my daughter’s wedding and being that she was attending school in the mainland, my husband and I had to do everything. Dayna provided the guidance and support we needed and the best thing is that she stayed within our budget. My daughter loved the bouquets and the flowers for the ceremony and everything turned out beautiful. We received so many compliments from everyone. The out of town guests also loved the dendrobium orchid leis.

As someone who knows very little about choosing flowers for a wedding, they did a great job at walking us through the process. Our wedding was planned by myself, my husband, and our families, all who aren't incredibly experienced with wedding planning. We set up an appointment with Watanabe Floral and they asked us simple questions. They asked what my wedding colors were and my favorite flowers, and make the perfect bouquet for myself and my bridesmaids using orange daisies and blue hydrangeas. They were incredible. I highly recommend them!

Watanabe Floral was incredibly flexible, generous and caring throughout the entire wedding process. We were impressed by their organization and responsiveness. They went above and beyond to ensure that our day was perfect. I even ordered my hair piece from there and they sent two customized ones for the price of one so that I could pick my favorite—we couldn’t ask for a more loving group of people to work with leading up to our big day! Watanabe Floral is hands down the best florist on Oahu! I do suggest that you stick to calling or better yet speaking to them in person. They are such a busy floral shop that emailing is not really their strongest suit. Other than that, their staff was absolutely wonderful to work with! My bouquet was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I'm so glad I decided to go with Watanabe. They are affordable and extremely reliable. You get what you pay for, and Watanabe Floral is definitely worth it!

Dayna and her team were amazing!! The flowers for our wedding were everything we wanted and more. Dayna worked very hard and I was a very detailed bride. I had a specific vision and Dayna totally delivered. The value was amazing on what we received; some companies quoted us $6000++ and Watanabe was able to give us all we wanted for $3,000. Highly, highly recommend them and request Dayna!

Hands down the most amazing flower shop around. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Watanabe Floral. When I first started planning my wedding, I went with another florist who had unfortunately canceled on me a month before my wedding date. In a sheer moment of panic, I emailed Watanabe Floral and they responded within 24 hours about my concerned needs. I worked with Susan, who was nothing but an angel to help me with my wedding bouquets. She was extremely prompt, answered all of my questions, and even offered me many suggestions along with prices that was budget friendly and reasonable. I specifically wanted sunflowers in my bouquets and they had no problem doing this for me. I showed Susan pictures of bouquets I wanted and she was able to get it done exactly like it. We communicated all through email, but this was not a problem as she responded quickly to me. On the day of my wedding, my flowers were delivered promptly to my hotel (Ko'olina) and they were even more beautiful than I imagined. My cascade bouquet and my four bridesmaids bouquets were exquisite and looked even better than the picture I sent to copy. Overall, I was so happy with the way my flowers turned out as well as the price that I paid for them. I would definitely use their service again!

So So So Amazing!! I was blown away with how incredible the flowers for our wedding day turned out. They were so lovely to work with. I had to organise everything from Australia and pretty much sent inspiration photos I had saved online. They ended up being BETTER than I could have ever imagined and such a great price!! What a wonderful company to work with, and such quality and timely service and kept within our budget. They even emailed me picture of a practice bouquet a couple of weeks before the wedding to make sure I was still happy with what I had chosen. Love Watanabe Floral!!!

I initially went with Watanabe because they were the first company who returned my email inquiry. Dianna was my assigned florist and I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. She was unbelievably patient with me, answered all of my questions, provided suggestions, but still kept my best interest and budget in mind. I'm not really big on flowers so I didn't really have a clear vision of what I wanted. I just showed Dianna a few pictures from Pinterest that displayed elements that I liked and she made my vision come to life. I received so many compliments on my bouquet. My cascading bouquet was even more beautiful than I ever imagined. It matched perfectly with the "classic, elegant" theme/look I was trying to achieve. Not only did all the floral arrangements exceed my expectations, but Dianna was incredibly attentive to my needs. She continuously checked in with me and even the day before the wedding she kept me updated with my order. She was truly a blessing to work with and I would recommend her services in a heartbeat!

Watanabe Floral is one of the busiest florists in Honolulu. However Shaye Mullaney kept it together with everything for us. :) She was so helpful and kind! And when we saw our flower centerpieces and bouquets on our special day, it took our breath away. It was the most beautiful sunflower arrangements I had ever seen. :)

Rona did an excellent job of making my vision come to life. She was prompt in responding and truly listened to what I wanted. The flower arrangements that I ordered were beautiful and our guests were impressed. The florists at Watanabes also can truly work with your budget. They can suggest how to take your vision and replicate it with flowers that cost less. I definitely recommend working with Watanabes. They are well known on the island for a high quality product at the most affordable price.

I hired Watanabe Floral for my wedding. I met with Dana at the Nimitz location months before my wedding. I had a tough color scheme to match (sea foam and lavender) but she knew exactly what kinds of flowers to put together to fit the theme and my budget. She was very responsive to my emails in the months leading up to the wedding (I had to change some of the original plans we made, and even added a few things near the end like a tosser bouquet and leis for our parents). The day of the event the flowers came right on time and it was a smooth drop off. I was so impressed with how they packaged everything - it looked great and kept so well in the air conditioned hotel room. The arrangements were so gorgeous and really added to our wedding party.

We recently planned our wedding in Hawaii from Canada. The event planner at the site hosting our wedding recommended Watanabe Floral and We are so appreciative for the excellent referral! Our guest list included 25 people and we opted to send a hawaiian floral arrangement to each guest from in lieu of wedding favours. Shaye was an absolute pleasure to deal with, patient with changes and additions to our order as well as helping us choose the ideal flowers and styles for our leis all while keeping our budget in mind. The table decor was divine and looked exactly like the items I chose off the website. Each guest (including us!) received an arrangement upon check in to their hotel and it set the tone for the vacation. The amazing florals added a very hawaiian and festive touch to our event and our entire trip!

After looking into many florists throughout Hawaii, Watanabe was simply the best. We went with a couple other flower vendors at first, but realized they didn't have the flowers we were looking for, and couldn't work within our budget. For our wedding reception we wanted a full red flower arrangement sitting on top of 32" black vase ( http://postimg.org/image/7tadrepal/ ). To save money, Shaye from Watanabe helped us decide what flowers were best, and we couldn't have been more pleased. We purchased our vases from FloraDec Hawaii, and Watanabe did the arrangements. Over the course of 6 months Shaye was so helpful, patient, and prompt with her email responses. We made several changes to the colors, the arrangements, and type of flowers. Watanabe Florists worked with us the whole way, and made sure we were happy with the finished product. At our wedding reception, the flower arrangement was simply amazing, their reception setup was flawless, and the bouquets came out as pictured. They offer the biggest selection, is the most reputable florists in Hawaii, and their staff is as good as it gets! We will definitely do business with them again!

Shaye has been a huge help in such a very short amount of time. She did however, informed me that this normally requires at least 3 weeks in advance (very professional) at my 2 week in advance notice and not too mention making the payment the week prior.
Everyone was very helpful from working with Shaye down to the payment and receiving of the flowers. The selection of flowers was great according to the picture, but was far better in reality.
Thanks again to all the staff that had a hand into creating the flowers for my son and my daughter-in-law on their special day.

I did my own flowers but bought them all from wantanabe floral. They had the best flowers out of all the places I went to. I ordered them about a week in advance and they were able to do it! The flowers were perfect!

Best florist on Oahu!!!!
So I procrastinated on finding a florist. By procrastinated, I waited until about 2 months prior to the big day to start thinking about flowers and reached out to several florists. I chose Watanabe florals because they were so pleasant to work with. They were quick and responsive and we planned pretty much the entire wedding florals over email. Shaye from Watanabe worked with me and we went back and forth about what will be the right fit for the event and after sending her pictures I collected from wedding blogs and Pinterest she came up with the florals for the event. I ordered vases online and was able to drop them off at the florist (I also had the option of shipping them directly there) and that made planning so much easier for me since we were flying in from Germany for the wedding. Shaye is so detail oriented and meticulous that we literally had every single little vase and decoration covered. The real WOW factor happened at the wedding when I saw all of the planning come to life. The bouquets, the leis, and all the flowers were even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. It was literally something out of a bridal magazine. Watanabe Florals made my vision a reality and I highly recommend them to anyone. On the plus side, the price was exteremely reasonable and Shaye made sure that it fit out budget. I am so so so thankful that I chose Watanabe Florals for our wedding. They are truly artists when it comes to flowers and they will make your visions comes true.

Not only were the flowers amazing, but the service was by far second to none! I contacted watanabefloral 3 weeks before the wedding and without a large budget. With that being said, Shaye, worked with me to understand my vision and locate the flowers in such a short amount of time. We worked together strictly via email, and thousands of miles away. I had a meeting with Kathy and threw some ideas around about what kind of c lowers I like and what my wedding colors were. I didn't have a clear exact idea of what I wanted in my head.
A few days later I got an email with a picture attached of a center piece they had built for my tables. It was exactly what I wanted and I didn't even have a clear idea of what I wanted. They were very professional, nice and accommodating to my wants/needs. My wedding wouldn't have been complete without the pieces they put together for my wedding! They were perfect.

I ordered all of my flowers for my wedding through Watanabe Floral. I chose an all white bouquet with a mixture of flowers and all white 3 piece centerpieces. I loved it all so much and was so pleased with what I was offered and what I chose. I wouldn't have changed any of the flowers I picked. Deanna and Rona were so friendly and willing to offer what they thought would look best (I was all over the place and Rona brought me back to level ha ha) We did all our communication through email and phone, I am from the mainland and was only able to go out one time prior to my wedding. Even though my wedding was right in the middle of graduation, they did an awesome job of my flowers and put in the flowers I requested for my bouquet. I still can remember how beautiful my bouquet was and it was over 10 years ago!

Dianne did an AMAZING job with my bouquet! I showed her a picture of what I wanted and discussed the colors that I preferred, along with my workable budget. She showed me options to get the fullness in the bouquet while keeping the cost down. My cascading bouquet was gorgeous and I kept it as a centerpiece in the house for an extra week after the wedding. She also helped me pick a few flowers for the cake topper at a super low cost since we decided to use just a few cut loose flowers. I will definitely ask for her if I have any other events I need floral arrangements for.

I am SOOOO happy that I chose Watanabe Floral to be our wedding florist! Joni was SO wonderful to work with! She listened to all my ideas and the vision that I had for our wedding. She helped me stay on budget and always make me feel like I was the only bride she was working with! Joni helped coordinate everything from the drop-off/delivery and even followed up with me after the wedding to make sure everything went ok! My flowers were mostly Cymbidium Orchids -- beautiful, elegant and simple! Joni made my day so magical by providing all the leis and flowers and making me feel so special! We ordered my bridal bouquet and 12 leis from Watanabe. Dani was very helpful from our first consultation when we visited Hawaii for our vendor scouting trip. She kept in touch with me through the entire planning process and emailed me pictures of different ideas that we could do. She was very responsive to all my emails and was able to help me pick a bouquet and leis that would keep us under our flower budget. I would recommend Watanabe to other Hawaii brides.

I had to use them last minute. Literally 48 hours before my wedding i called them for flowers. I had previously been quoted 2,000 for the exact same flowers I got from them for 700! My bouquet of pale cream patience roses were amazing. They were so beautiful I wished I could of shipped them to Australia after the wedding but couldn't. Also my hair single flower was amazing.

Highly recommend if you are after something classic like mine they did a stunning job with a silver ribbon. Breathtaking.

The family friend/florist who was going to do my wedding flowers backed out several weeks before my wedding and Watanabe Floral really came through for me. Rona at Watanabe Floral was really great to work with and a great help with ideas and suggestions. I changed my order so many times and she kept great track of everything I wanted. Since we had such little time they were only able to make me one sample which was not anything like I wanted. I sent them photos of what I wanted as well as the flowers I wanted (I'm a little OCD) instead and hoped for the best. The flowers turned out amazing from the bouquets to the chuppah decorations to the amazing centerpieces. I really could not have hoped for more and no one would ever know that I organized all of this at the last minute. Thank you so much Watanabe!

Watanabe is the florist of choice for all Hawaiian weddings. They did a wonderful job, were on-time and professional. I barely noticed they were there during the set-up (which is a good thing, trust me), but everything was so beautiful.

We used Watanabe for our flower needs for our 6/13/14 wedding. They provided my bouquet, BM bouquets, groom's Maile Lei, and all centerpieces. Everything was stunning! My bouquet was perfect; people were literally fighting over it at the end of the night and I didn't even do a bouquet toss. The centerpieces were beautiful without being too over the top and fit right in for our southern meets Hawaiian theme. I worked with Dayna and she was so sweet and helpful and was able to accommodate our budget (which wasn't huge). I would highly recommend Watanabe for any flower needs.

Thank you Dayna and Watanabe Floral! First and foremost the flowers for our wedding were amazing. Our consultant Dayna was able to get us some amazing peonies for our arch and bouquets. We kept getting comments on how simple yet elegant our cake was and my wife and bridesmaids didn't want to give away their bouquets because they were so nice.

We did most of our own centerpieces and used Watanabe to provide baby's breath to finish the arrangement. They went the extra mile and set everything up saving us a lot of time and manpower! Their staff came in early and set up the arch, aisle, centerpieces, and cake and there were no issues whatsoever.

Dayna was very helpful and provided great suggestions and alternatives (we had a January wedding and availability was an issue). Though some emails early in the process may have taken a few days for response, the responses were always detailed and as the day got closer the response time was quicker. Dayna was very friendly and accommodating and knowing that Watanabe has such an inventory was very reassuring. Thank you guys so much!

Watanabe Floral provided the flowers for our destination wedding in Hawaii last month. They were very easy to get in touch with before the wedding and accommodating to our needs. We had to change the delivery time the day before the wedding and it wasn't an issue at all. The flowers were delivered on time, even a little early, and they were beautiful. Just as we asked for. Everything held up through the ceremony and awhile after!

I spent a while looking for a florist that would be able to a great job on a small order of flowers (just three bouquets, some boutonnieres, and a small number of fresh flowers on stems). Keeping things simple, there were so many florists who told me they would not work with me because I would not meet their minimum spend amount for a summer wedding. I was so glad when I finally found Watanabe Floral, and their quote came in under that of other florists I had talked with!

Dayna was wonderful to work with. It was clear that she was enthusiastic about helping me find the perfect flowers to fit both my dream wedding decor as well as my budget. She gave me a lot of ideas to consider, and incorporated my input easily. I ended up with a bridal bouquet that was exactly what I wanted - a small, elegant bouquet with the flowers that I wanted, plus some flowers that Dayna had suggested to compliment my ideas.

I did take one star off for responsiveness because of how difficult it was to schedule a consultation. Weekend consultations needed to be scheduled about a month in advance (at least when I had tried to make an appointment), and I felt lucky to have been able to take time to go in during the week instead. E-mailing responsiveness was great overall, with a few minor hiccups that were easily resolved by calling the store.

Watanabe Floral was recommend by a friend and I was extremely happy with their services. My wedding consultant was Dani and I couldn't have been happier with the way she handled my wedding from start to finish. Planning from LA can be a bit challenging, but Dani was very helpful in offering her advice with arrangements/leis that were in my budget yet didn't sacrifice my vision. In the end, the flowers were gorgeous and added that perfect touch to our special day. Watanabe offers a huge variety of floral/lei choices and will deliver high quality product no matter how big or small your event may be. In looking at several florists in the area and comparing prices, Watanabe was absolutely the best choice for me!

I only communicated with Rona through email. I sent her pictures of what I wanted (Brides bouquet, bridesmaids bouquets, flower petals for flower girl and aisle, leis for guests, maile lei for groom-tuberose I think and the same type of lei for the bride). When the flowers arrived at the hotel where we were getting ready everything was just how I wanted. Watanabe Floral was able to create the flowers that I wanted! If you need last minute flowers for your wedding, look no further. I ordered haku lei (the flower crown leis) for my bridesmaids and flower girl around 1 week prior to the wedding, and they had them ready and packaged for me. The haku lei were beautiful. A bit pricey, but I can understand why given the solid quality of their work. I was also impressed by their bulk flower section. They have a pretty extensive collection of hydrangea, peonies, lilies, leatherleaf ferns, wax flowers, roses, baby's breath, pretty much anything you'd need for a wedding/reception. They also have a relatively decent selection of pre-arranged bouquets and floral arrangements. If you have a friend with a florist card and are working on a budget, a trip to Watanabe Floral and Costco could handily take care of all your wedding floral needs without breaking the bank.

Watanabe always provides incredible flowers. The bouquets were beautiful! They were helpful in the flower selection process, showing us a variety of options.

The day before the wedding when we went to pick up some orchids, pay our final payment, and pick up the cake flowers, we saw that the cake flowers were not the right color! I guess they didn't have the right kind of flower, so they substituted another color without informing us. We chose a different type of red rose to take for the cake, and it was fine.

Overall, Watanabe is a great flower company and I recommend them.

My flowers from Watanabe were breathtakingly beautiful!!! The value was excellent and the quality was better than I ever imagined! I was nervous knowing that I wouldn't see the flowers until the actual wedding day, but I was absolutely blown away by the end result. Initially contact was a bit difficult, but Kelci stepped in and truly saved the day a couple weeks before the wedding, making sure everything was just perfect. The attention to detail was flawless and they did everything I asked for and then some! Thank you Watanabe for making my wedding flowers and greenery SO beautiful!!!!!

We had a special request of them which they did not quite understand. My wish is that they had told me before the wedding how it was going to look or send me a picture. It caused a lot of stress. But then the designer came to the venue to try and fix it.

I worked with Dayna to order all of my weddings flowers. In the beginning she wasn't too responsive but once we started communicating she provided me with tons of useful information and pictures. Which was great since I was planning my Hawaii wedding from California. I wanted to order flowers that I could arrange on my own. Right away I found out the flowers I was envisioning were way out of my budget. She was able to give me ideas and alternative suggestions that stayed within my budget. Val on the Big Island was amazing! Thankfully I stopped by the shop the day before and caught a few things that I would like to change. All my wedding bouquets were gorgeous! Easy to work with and Val has amazing energy.

They were great! They tend to our needs and budget. And you go in details what you order, flower by flower. The only flaw was my centerpiece, it didn't hold up like I wanted it to, but my own fault for choosing a water/floral centerpiece.

I had a great time working with Diana. I went in knowing what type of bouquet looks I wanted with a budget in mind. Diana was very frank with me that the type of flowers that I wanted would not fit my budget. However, she offered alternatives to try and create the same look and it worked out great! She also told me that we were able to get giftcards from Costco. That saved us a ton of money. Diana kept my orders organized and reminded me of deadlines on when to give her my vases, ribbons, and such. On my wedding day, the flowers were so beautiful and fresh. They lasted a week after the wedding.

Watanabe is known as THE PLACE to go for flowers on Oahu. They have a great selection of flowers and fillers. And they let you look through everything. If you can get a customer service person to help you, they can offer great ideas though this service is hit or miss with who you get. There are a lot of ideas and all of their flowers are beautiful. They also offer military discount and shipping. I have bought my mom a lei through here to send to her for mothers day and they deliver. I will always go to Watanabe's even though you can get flowers at other places. Their quality is something you can depend on. Oh and they have a good amount of parking and a clean bathroom too.

Very friendly and knowledgeable. Very willing to help and will also let you know what may not work, but will help you figure out alternatives.
Only downside was that we had communicated that I wanted to remove some items from my order, but they ended up including them on that day. Plus, they forgot one item on the day of. But they are overall very professional and I would use them again.

The flowers we ordered were absolutely beautiful. The leis, the centerpieces, everything looked great, arrived in timely fashion and impressed our guests. It just felt like a lot of money for what we got. Still, I'd use them again if for no other reason than because they were so prompt in responding to our emails and really gave us peace of mind. The other florists we reached out to were very bad about responding to us in a prompt manner.

Kind of overpriced. their staff was really friendly. Overall everything worked out well but they should find ways to work with large orders for weddings and create a way for people to buy in bulk and not break the bank!

Watanabe was a great cost-effective route to go. We ordered the roses in bulk and made the centerpieces ourselves.
The roses, though, needed time to open and bloom before they really looked their best. We opened them the morning of, and it wasn't quite as open as I wanted them by the time of the wedding, but they still looked good.

However, for the BM bouquets, it was the same issue. The girls' bouquets weren't as open and full as I wanted by the time we took pictures. Everything else with Watanabe was great though. They delivered everything to us earlier than expected and the leis were beautiful :) Well worth purchasing the 20% off Costco gift cards and using them!

We purchased bulk flowers and DIY our centerpieces and bouquets. Their staff was knowledgable about their flowers and were able to point me in the right direction with only a picture of flowers i liked. they made suggestions on similar flowers that would be in season or lower price. good selection of flowers for our October wedding.

I had a wonderful experience with Watanabe Floral. I knew nothing about flowers, especially for a wedding, but my Wedding consultant at Watanabe Floral was always available through e-mails and meetings to make sure that we got the flowers we wanted at a reasonable cost. My Wedding consultant gave me guidance and advice that proved to be so valuable to me when making decisions. I would difinitely recommend Watanabe Floral for your flower needs.

Planning a Hawaii wedding from CA was hard! We were pleased with Watanabe Florals because they quickly responded to every email and were quick to let us know of a better option, even referring another florist for some of our needs! (Note: They sell bags of Plumeria flowers, and we almost bought some, but we were able to scoop some off the ground by the beach for free!) We ended up not placing an order with them because we ran out of time, instead we walked in the day before the wedding and selected from their HUGE warehouse! Be sure to walk around inside the cooler section. We bought a mix of Calla Lillies, Gerbera Daisies, and Roses, and made our own bouquets. Every singe person commented on how beautiful the flowers were.

So...let me be clear at the beginning of this review and say that ALL of the flowers for my wedding (bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony arrangements, and leis) were absolutely beautiful and AMAZING!! I was truly blown away by the beauty of the flowers. In addition, it is difficult to find a florist who is willing to work with Plumeria since they are such a delicate flower but Watanabe is willing to do so and all of my plumeria bouquets looked amazing throughout most of the night (and we only needed them to do so throughout pictures :-)

The lower marks are for responsive. I worked with Dayna and honestly she sucked at communication. At first I thought everything was great...I emailed her my ideas and she emailed back. I emailed her a response and said I wanted to set up a contract and....nothing for months! I started looking at other florists even but couldn't find one. Lucky for me, my day-of coordinator (Lauren Ellis) works with them and I emailed her. Lauren contacted the supervisor and within 24 hours Dayna had finally responded (but had a number of excuses of why she had not done so for months). I set up the contract and thought okay we should be fine. Then, when it was a few weeks out and I needed to make my final payment I emailed to finalize the details and did not hear back from Dayna for a month! By the time I heard back, it was already passed their 3 week final payment deadline but I was able to make my payment and be done with Dayna (of course after hearing all of the excuses again on why she did not respond for a month).

Bottom line, I don't care about any excuses of why you did not respond...just apologize and help me get what I need at that point.

The communication with Dayna was awful and SUPER STRESSFUL not knowing if the florist is reliable since this is who they have representing them....

but ultimately our flowers were AMAZING, which is truly what counted at the end.

I had no problems receiving the flowers, I received everything I ordered... but I wasnt 100% happy with the amount of flowers they used. I thought they would use a lot more for the centerpieces. They were supposed to send me a picture of a mock-up which may have prevented this problem.

I loved the flowers but I was rather upset that my flowers weren't ready when I had asked for them. I thought we had everything set accordingly but apparently the date of receiving the flowers were the wrong day. I requested to have it done the day before at a certain time unfortunately it wasn't done.

They were great at helping us pick the best flowers and arrangements to go with our budget, and I was happy with the final result. Only 2 small problems - First, they were a bit late in delivery, which made us a bit late for arrival at the chapel and I was super stressed out, of course, but it was fine. Also, the "hot pink" roses used in the bridal vs. bridesmaids' bouquets were completely different shades, slightly clashing, and we were not warned of this. I was a bit shocked and upset when I first saw them - just before hitting the aisle... Just something to think about and make sure you discuss when coordinating your arrangements.

Eric at Watanabe Florals was a God-send!! Going in to Watanabe's I had a vision of what I wanted my bouquet and centerpieces to look like. We were doing it ourselves so I knew what flowers I wanted. BUT when I got to the store they didn't have enough of the flowers I wanted/needed (that was my fault since I didn't order ahead of time) so I had to rethink of what else to do. The wedding was the next day! ... I literally walked around the shop for an hour with my fiance trying to come up with new arrangements, I was feeling defeated. Eric must have saw the bummed look on my face and he offered to help. In 10-15 minutes he pulled flowers and fillers for me and gave me some ideas of what to do. And I spent way less than what I budgeted for flowers so that was a plus too!

Overall, the flowers turned out beautiful at the ceremony and reception of our wedding. There was gap in the responsiveness between the florist and I. We were passed around to 3 different consultants. Overall the flowers turned out well and the day of the wedding they were on schedule and on point in their services.

Rona was great to work with and was very accommodating to my ideas. The flowers were great, but the only thing I was disappointed about was the size of my bouquet. It was smaller than what I expected. Overall, the outcome of the flower arrangements look great.
