    Wedding ceremony venue

    I cannot day enough about how awesome Alyson is at the Washington Pavilion! She was so amazing to work with through the whole wedding process. We held our ceremony in the visual arts center and it was stunning. It was such a unique space to get married in and I am so thankful we decided on this location for this special occasion. I would highly recommend everyone to look into this space for smaller weddings!

    The Washington Pavilion staff was completely dedicated to providing an easy, highly customize-able, and beautiful experience for my husband and I's reception. The picture I attached doesn't even do the space justice! All of our guests complimented the stage's elegance...and the price is fairly affordable as well. The Washington Pavilion has an in-house caterer (Leonardo's Cafe) - we had the pasta buffet, which was absolutely delicious and received many compliments from our guests. The Pavilion also has large dressing rooms with huge mirrors and vanity lights, which makes for a fun place for the ladies to get ready in the morning. If you're looking for a unique and memorable venue, this place is it! We can't recommend this place enough. (Dustin and Chelsea, married 7/7/18).

    Elizabeth made this an awesome experience. She kept me in line and made sure we had every detail accounted for! I would highly recommend this venue, it was absolutely stunning!!

    The pavilion was absolutely amazing. We had our cocktail hour in the lobby and our reception on stage. Our guests kept ranting and raving about how beautiful and unique the venue was. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was delicious. We worked with Elizabeth Sterling. She gave us the red carpet treatment and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. If we could have another wedding there we would do it in a heart beat!

    When I first started searching for a reception venue the stage immediately caught my eye as the wood floors, high ceiling, and theater provide an amazing space to host a large group of friends and family. We worked with Elizabeth who was very prompt in responding to emails with questions or concerns regarding the venue and even sat down with us to taste various meal options and show us the different spaces to make sure we got exactly what we were looking for. My husband and I were living out of the area at the time we were planning our wedding but Elizabeth relieved a lot of the burden and stress of that by taking care of any issues and being flexible to our schedules when we were in town. She listened to our vision of what we wanted for the reception and made it seem effortless to make it all happen!! Elizabeth and her staff took care of everything from setting up tables, the lighting, food, bar, and even contacted all of our other vendors to make sure she knew the details of the day and everything would run smoothly! She took on the day like it was her own special event and truly made the entire wedding planning experience enjoyable!! The venue speaks for itself and I would highly recommend Elizabeth to any bride looking for someone to listen and collaborate with to make her wedding day everything she's dreamed of!!

    I was beyond thrilled with the Washington Pavilion for our wedding reception. Elizabeth was incredible to work with--she answered all of our questions in a friendly and prompt manner during the planning stage and went above and beyond to make sure we were updated throughout the entire process. The food was great, and the Pavilion staff who helped serve our guests were so kind and professional. I would recommend this venue to anyone! Great value in such a special venue in Sioux Falls!

    We worked with Elizabeth and she was great! She was flexible with our work hours and literally took care of everything for us so we could enjoy our special day! The venue was gorgeous and food was amazing!

    Elizabeth and her staff at the Washington Pavilion were wonderful to work with. Our daughter's wedding reception was perfect and I was able to relax and enjoy the evening. A beautiful venue!!!

    After reviewing several reception sites, the Washington Pavilion was truly the most gorgeous and phenomenal venue. The personalized royal blue cyclorama, the pin spot lighting, the delicious food, the grand views from the stage, the crystal chandeliers, the attentive coordinators, and the seemingly minute details, all were attended to and brought together in utter perfection. My husband and I were so incredibly happy with the results – we wouldn’t change a thing about our reception, and it’s largely thanks to the Washington Pavilion and its coordinators. Our guests were raving how beautiful and exceptional the reception and site were.

    My first meeting with the personable and accommodating Sarah sold me on the place; when my coordinators changed to Kristin and Allyson, I was astounded at how effective and amazing they also were. Communication was above and beyond – via text, email or call, they were quick to respond to my questions and concerns. Kristin and Allyson also worked directly with my vendors to determine timing, delivery, placement, etc. What a stress reliever for me to not have to be that middle communication?! Kristin told me from the beginning, “I’ll be the first one at your reception and the last one to leave,” and she certainly followed through.

    On the day before the wedding we weren’t allowed to be on the stage yet, so Kristin let us into a nearby room to organize the centerpieces. When we didn’t have time to put the decorations on the stage before attending the wedding rehearsal, Kristin and the help volunteered to put up all the decorations on the stage for us according to my “big picture”. She had it looking beautiful and decorated exactly how I imagined it.

    If you are having any reserves about the Washington Pavilion or the costs, squash them – it was worth every penny. I obviously highly recommend this venue and its coordinators. My husband and I were so incredibly happy with the Washington Pavilion.

    The Mary W Sommervold Hall provided an amazing atmosphere for our wedding/reception/dance. We were very impressed with our Wedding Coordinator and the Lighting Technician! They certainly take pride in what they do. Amazing food and amazing servers. They were definitely on the ball! Everything took place in a timely manner! Very much appreciated!!

    My mother, fiancé (now-husband!) and I had the MOST wonderful experience working with Brittany Boomer and the Washington Pavilion staff. They were responsive, helpful, creative, organized, and just plain lovely to work with! The food was delicious. Paula Lechner kindly welcomed our food ideas and was more than willing to get creative with the menu. Every sit-down and planning session with these ladies was immensely productive. The service provided and the professionalism exhibited by this venue's staff were top-notch. We are so thrilled with our wedding planning experience at the Washington Pavilion. We are beyond grateful.

    Brittany did a wonderful job of creating a beautiful and stress free wedding! She took care of everything with kindness and professionalism! The entire event including wedding ceremony, dinner reception and dance were absolutely lovely!

    As soon as I saw the Mary W. Sommervold stage, I knew that we had to have our wedding reception there. The venue is so unique, beautiful, and has a "grand" feeling! Our event coordinator was Allyson, who was very easy to work with and get ahold of. She had everything under control, which made for a stress-free planning process and wedding day! The food and service was exceptional! We can't recommend this venue enough to our friends and family because we want to go back to celebrate there as wedding guests! :) Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone involved at the Pavilion that made our wedding day so special and perfect!

    I had such a fun time and experience working with the Pavilion staff, specifically Sarah. She made sure details were in order and that everything was ready to go to make our reception perfect. I definitely recommend the Pavilion for any event because they work hard to make everything run smoothly. It was truly an awesome day!

    Our day was made special because of the amazing service we received from Brittney and the staff at the Washington Pavilion. We were guided step by step in making choices and given a vast array of options and materials/venders to work with – the sky was the limit. The whole day went so smooth. Brittney the wedding planner managed everything so that we could enjoy our time with family and friends the day of the event. Everything we asked for happened even a last minute request. We had a Beautiful reception with exceptional service. We will always have a special place for the Pavilion in our hearts.

    The main reason I chose The Pavillion over all the other venues I looked at, was because of Brittany Boomer-Event Coordinator. She was by far the most professional, friendly, and accomodating event coordinator of all the venues I looked at in Sioux Falls! I was debating between The Icon Event Hall and The Pavillion and Brittany won me over the first time I met with her. She made me feel like she "would just take care of everything" on my wedding day, and make sure it was exactly how I wanted it to be. She made my wedding planning a lot less stressful. I can't even tell you how detail oriented she is! Thanks Brittany, you did a great job!

    We had our reception on the Mary W. Sommervold Hall stage. It is an absolutely beautiful space, especially when you take advantage of their lighting options. We received a lot of compliments about how nice everything looked. One of the best things about the Pavilion is the event coordinators. We worked with Sarah on planning our reception, and she was wonderful. She responded to my emails quickly, and she did a good job of making sure that we had everything ready for our reception. Since there wasn't an event the night before, we were able to get in the day before the wedding and set up our favors and decorations. They worked with our other vendors the day of, so we didn't need to worry about that and could just focus on celebrating with our friends and family. Overall, it was a great experience.

    The Washington Pavilion was such an AWESOME place to have a wedding reception. Everything was great from the food to the decorations to the customer service. I had multiple people tell me that when they walked into the Pavilion and onto the stage that it took their breathe away because it was so beautiful. Alyson Kasch was also so AWESOME to work with. She was there always, never missed a beat and so very friendly and nice! I would recommend the Washington Pavilion to anyone! Such a great, classy and beautiful venue!!! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!!!

    Allyson and the rest of the staff at the Pavilion are wonderful to work with! So easy and flexibile with everything. Allyson is the BEST to work with! The Pavilion is very lucky to have Allyson and I would say she deserves a RAISE! She goes above and beyond with anything her clients need. She jumped in and did anything she could to help when our flowers were delivered and horrible. Immediately went and got pricing on new flowers, but not before getting the bride a bottle of wine to calm the nerves!

    Every aspect of our daughter's wedding reception at the Washington Pavilion was exceptional. Everyone involved worked hard to assure that even the smallest details were perfect.

    Paula helped us choose the most delicious meal imaginable and Allyson's expertise in the entire process was spectacular!

    The entire staff was well-trained,courteous,and professional.

    We had guests from California, Connecticut, Maryland, Alabama, Wisconsin, Illinois, and South Dakota, and received many positive comments about the uniqueness and beauty of the venue.

    We had our wedding reception at the Washington Pavilion in the Schulte Room and it was exactly what I wanted. It was decorated beautifully, the food was excellent and my husband and I and all of our guests had a great time! Becky Swoboda was our amazing event planner and she was excellent and made everything very easy for us. I would definitely use the Pavilion again, thanks for everything!

    The Washington Pavilion is the most beautiful reception venue that I have ever seen. The colors & choices for the back drop (Cyclorama) and the Arts Night Lighting were amazing. The atmosphere are wonderful. Allyson Kasch and her staff were exceptional to work with. They went above and beyond what we expected; very professional in every area. I would recommend this venue to everyone, and I'm looking forward to attending a reception there in the future!

    The Pavilion Event's team was outstanding. They handled every aspect of our wedding from start to finish with amazing detail and hardwork. I simply could not have thrown this party this without their expertise. I would recommend their work to anyone looking for a very special venue for their wedding and wedding reception. There is no better place to go.

    The staff were extremely professional - also flexible to meet with me whenever I was available. I was able to ask most questions through e-mail and would get a response from Meghan or Becky within a day. This was a plus for me because I worked 7 days a week until 5 or 6P. They had great ideas and were very helpful in many different areas - including decorations, how to arrange the tables, where to set things up, etc. The venue was perfect for what we wanted and we couldn't have been happier with how everything looked and tasted - the food was amazing and everyone had only good things to say about the evening. There did happen to be one mishap with the chocolate fountain, however I wasn't even aware that it wasn't working. The staff at WP quickly replaced it with a different one--it wasn't till a few weeks later when we found this out. I thought it was so wonderful that they quickly took action and fixed the problem. I would HIGHLY recommend this venue if you are looking for a stress-free wonderful time!

    The Washington Pavilion is the BEST venue to have a wedding reception in Sioux Falls. Without the help of Becky Swoboda, I would have been a wreck; I completely relaxed knowing she would handle every detail. The social hour and reception went absolutely flawless, and I could not have asked for a more perfect day. Becky offered many ideas that were unique and met with me numerous times to ensure the details were all in order. Everything from the hanging decor and lighting to the delicious dinner to all the amazing staff members are all a bride could ask for on her big day! I guarantee not every venue takes the extra step to make sure each bride is 100% satisfied, but I can tell you that the Pavilion will!

    Our wedding at the Pavilion was everything we could have dreamed it would be. Allyson was attentive and easy to work with throughout the entire wedding planning process. We had lots of questions, and she was patient, offering helpful suggestions along the way.Thanks to Allyson and the Pavilion for a perfect day.

    We worked with Alyson as our wedding coordinator and we couldn't have been happier. Her service was excellent and she handled everything. She made it so easy for us! She had great ideas about what to do with the space and gave us feedback on our ideas.

    Allyson at the the Washington Pavilion was a joy to work with. She made the experience easy & a lot of fun. Because our wedding was right after the "holiday rush" we had to do a lot more things a month in advance, but they made it very easy & were always ready to answer any questions or concerns that we had. We were VERY happy with the overall experience working with the Washington Pavilion. Our wedding day turned out BEAUTIFULLY! We couldn't have asked for betting people to work with!

    The reception was beautiful. It was a dream come true for the bride and groom and families. Food was excellent. Cocktail hour was very elegant. Becky was so easy to work with and very professional! Excellent evening from the social hour to the final hour. Beautiful.

    The Washington Pavilion was a fantastic place to hold a wedding reception. Becky listened to what we wanted and figured out how to make it work she was easy to work with and willing to be creative. We started with cocktail hour in an Art Gallery, moving to the Great Hall for dinner and dancing--where the Pavilions Staff helped make our visions of a "fancy big city restaurant" come true, and then finally moving again to another room that was transformed into a "Dance Club" for the after party. Everything was run smoothly, was efficient, food was delicious and timing of food perfect---all in all---a Dream Wedding!!

    We had a destination wedding and had our reception back home at the Washington Pavilion. On top of us being gone the two weeks prior to the reception we also moved to Denver 6 months before the big day. Becky did an amazing job making sure we didnt have to worry about a thing. We had the Pavilion cater our dinner for the evening but she went way above and beyond that. She communicated directly with our band, photographer, and florist to make sure everything was taken care of. We would highly recommend the Washington Pavilion and the great work that Becky did.

    I just truly could not have been happier with the Pavilion and working with Becky Swaboda for our wedding reception. Becky was AMAZING to work with - prompt to respond and so much fun! The great hall was beautiful and so romantic for our wedding. I couldn't recommend it any higher. It was perfect!

    The Washington Pavilion exceeded our expectations. They really made our wedding day stress free. Our planner was very professional, and very quick to responding to any questions we had. Anyone that wants a unique, memorable, and beautiful wedding, the Pavilion is the place to have it.

    The stage of the Washington Pavilion is absolutely by far the best place to have a wedding reception or other special event. It was absolutely beautiful and elegant and our guests were amazed. The "WOW" factor when they entered the Great Hall was very apparent. The food was great and reasonably priced. Becky was very willing to help with advice and recommendations. She was also very accessible by cell phone or e-mail. We feel very fortunate to have been able to hold the reception here as there is no other place in Sioux Falls that compares.

    My fiance and I are so happy that we held our wedding reception on the Great Hall Stage of the Washington Pavilion. We had a wonderful evening at the Pavilion and also received glowing comments from our guests about how much they enjoyed the atmosphere and the beauty of the venue. And, I have never heard so much praise about wedding reception meals...the food was so delicious!

    Working with Becky at the Pavilion was a pure joy and pleasure. She was completely on top of everything from the first moment I exchanged an email with her. Becky was so easy and delightful to work with--she answered all of my questions and concerns, and even worked very well with all of my parents' questions and concerns! I never left a meeting feeling like I was in the dark about anything! Becky also did a terrific job of coordinating the entire evening--working with our florist, dj, photographer, and the wedding cake. The service at the reception was absolutely perfect--everyone on the staff was very professional and efficient.

    At the Washington Pavilion you will get back every penny you spend. It is, without a doubt, the best place to hold your wedding reception in the Sioux Falls area (I have been to many, many reception venues in and around the city and also have event-planning experience). Everything is taken care of for the evening. As the bride and groom you will be 100% rest-assured that you, your families, wedding party, and guests will have an amazing time in the celebration of your marriage! Thank you so much to the Washington Pavilion and to Becky and her staff!

    Everything about the Pavilion was fantastic. We had our reception on the Great Hall Stage. It was more expensive than the other venues we had looked at but well worth every single penny. Food was great, service was perfect and the lighting was phenomenal. A must for every bride is to add the event/scenic spot lighting. It added so much dynamic and romance to the reception. Becky was AMAZING to work with. She was on top of everything before, during and after the reception. Everything was set up and torn down for us (worth the money we spent in itself). I STILL get compliments that our reception was the most romantic and unique they had ever been too!

    Wedding planning has its headaches, but the reception was not one of mine with Becky in charge. I would HIGHLY recommend the Pavilion to any Bride!

    Becky was an absolute JOY to work with and was always very willing to please us as her client. Becky's professionalism was always present no matter how many emails, phone calls or meetings we had with her. I wouild recommend using the Washington Pavilion to anyone who has an event to plan and Becky is a valuble asset to the team at the Pavilion!

    Becky and her staff at the Washington Pavilion were fantastic! They were very flexible and responsive and so easy and fun to work with. The venue is unique and beautiful, especially with all the great lighting they can do if you have your reception on the stage. I got so many compliments on the space and the lighting, even some comments from other friends who had been married in Sioux Falls and held their receptions at other venues saying "I wish I would have had my reception here!" If you are looking for a truly unique and beautiful space with a staff that is extremely helpful, definitely check out the Washington Pavilion!

    The Washington Pavilion is a wonderful place to have a wedding and a ceremony! The service is excellent, the food is great, and the beauty of the Great Hall is amazing. It is really nice to be able to do everything all in one place. There is no worrying about taking things from one location to another. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Becky Swoboda is fantastic and was able to give us information on everything from an officiant to flowers and chair covers. She helped us to be able to do as much or as little as we wanted. Overall, she made our wedding run smoothly which is what everyone wants on their wedding day. Thank you to Becky and everyone at the Washington Pavilion!

    Becky was amazing to work with. The venue was beautiful, the food excellent and it was handled with the utmost professionalism. I loved working with the Pavilion staff, it made all the details so easy. On the day of the wedding when I stopped at the Pavilion, I realized I was short on candles, and they provided them at no cost so I wouldn't have to run out and buy them. Becky made many helpful suggestions and made planning the reception very easy. I would highly recommend the Pavilion as a wedding venue, it was an incredible day for our whole family. One of the favorite things we had at the Pavilion was the photo booth. I would highly recommend this to any bride, it was a blast for the guests and my daughter ended up with an incredible book of fun memories of everyone who was at the reception.

    My husband and I live in Connecticut, but I'm from the Sioux Falls area. Since we had a lot of family traveling from out-of-state, we wanted to make their experience (and ours) different and special. Also, because we live so far away, we needed a place that was going to be doing most of the "work" for us. The Washington Pavilion exceeded beyond all of expectations. First, our event coordinator, Elizabeth Stirling, was in constant contact with me, especially the month before the wedding. Now that the wedding is over, it's so weird not to be talking daily to Elizabeth! She was flexible, professional and creative and along with her help, our wedding was perfect. If you are planning a wedding from out-of-state (or in state as well), I highly recommend the pavilion, as they make the planning process easier - I did not have to stress knowing that they were taking care of everything.

    We had our cocktail hour in the 3rd floor lobby and our reception was on the main stage. When we walked onto the stage it took our breath away. It looked absolutely beautiful and our friends and family were so impressed. The food was excellent as well!! After our reception, we rented the Schulte room for an After Party which included Karaoke and a nacho bar. It seems that anything is possible at the Washington Pavilion!!

    We worked with Allyson Kasch at the Washington Pavilion for our wedding. She did an amazing job making our big day beautiful! She was very easy to work with and was very responsive by email. She helped us get every little detail ironed out and helped make the entire day go smoothly. We did our wedding ceremony and reception on the stage in Mary W. Sommervold Hall. The lighting effects that they provided made our reception more beautiful than I could have imagined. You do have to use their catering services but their food is amazing. We got a lot of guests telling us it was the best food they're ever had at a wedding. I would definitely recommend the use of the Washington Pavilion for a wedding ceremony or reception.

    The Washington Pavilion staff were very helpful in giving us options to customize our wedding to meet our budget. The evening of the reception, they made it easy for us to enjoy our special day and not worry about details. Our guest had a wonderful time and we've had many compliments on the food and service. It was not necessary to decorate much at the Pavilion because it is such a beautiful venue, and at night when the lights of Sioux Falls came on, it lit up the room. I would HIGHLY recommend the Washington Pavilion for any event or reception.

    Allyson was the best Venue planner that we could every dreamed of having! We met with her 4 or 5 times before our wedding along with all of the e-mails back and forth. When ever we asked her what was normal, she always said, that we could have what ever we wanted. She was the best and really knew what we wanted on the day of the wedding! We had both our wedding and reception at the venue & loved it. We were the 1st wedding party in the Everest Art Gallery and it turned out to be a smashing success!     The staff at Washington Pavillion was very receptive to my requests. If you have a catered event at the Pavillion, the catering MUST be done by the Leonardo Cafe. The catering pricing is below market value and has a great variety, so for me this was not a problem. My one issue was sometimes it was hard to get ahold of her. However, she DOES have a very busy position! She is extremely creative, pays attention to small details, and is very organized and efficient. She treats clients with a great deal of warmth and friendliness. Overall, I would recommend the Pavillion to anyone who asked me. I planned most of this wedding while living in another state, but they were possibly the easiest vendor to work with. Thank you!

    The Washington Pavilion is a great place for a wedding reception. Brittany Boomer helped plan our event and she made everything very stress free. Everything went well and we were able to just enjoy ourselves because the staff took care of all the details behind the scenes. They were in contact with our outside vendors to arrange set up time and locations. It was so smooth. I would definitely recommend their services for large events.

    Allyson at the Washington Pavilion was great. We had all the help and advice we could possibly need and my vision for my ceremony and reception was pulled off to a T. Thanks to all the Wash Pav staff for making our dream day come true!!
    Leonardo's is the on Site caterer, and we had nothing but positive comments. Many said it was the best wedding food they ever had and my new husband, who is picky as sin when it comes to food, said he wished hwe was hungrier because he wanted to keep going back for more! We requested a breakfast bar as our favor and at the end of the night people were walking out with bags and fist fulls of donuts and danishes. They loved it.

    The Pavilion coordinator was helpful in providing all of the "know-how" necessary to have a great rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception.     We had our wedding on stage in the Mary W Sommervold Hall. It was SO BEAUTIFUL! It's costly to have them do lighting, hang decorations, and use the screen but I think it was so worth it!

    Our experience planning a wedding at the Pavilion was fantastic. Our coordinator made sure the little worries were not my problem, had good ideas to enhance the space, and was always available. The day went smoothly and it was everything we'd hoped.

    Having our wedding at the Washington Pavilion was the best decision I ever made! The venue is so beautiful, and I've never been to a wedding that looked so classy :)

    Allyson Kasch, the Pavilion coordinator, made planning go very smoothly and she had everything handled the night of. All I had to do was enjoy my day and everything was done for me.

    The Washington Pavilion is by far the best venue for a wedding I've seen in the Sioux Falls area. The price is affordable, the food is great, and the arts night lighting makes the room look like a million bucks!

    The only reason I put 3 stars for flexibility is that it was hard to be able to pick a wedding date that I wanted since booking is limited to summer months. You can have your wedding there during the fall/winter/spring, but you have to wait until the Pavilion and Symphony set their dates for performances.

    We received numerous compliments that our wedding was one of the most beautiful people had seen and a most enjoyable experience for us. There were some issues we ran into along the way, including the alcohol policy. I suggest you work on that to help ensure your brides and grooms are pleased. I was also a little disappointed with the wait staff for the meal. Becky was great and a wonderful person to work with.

    There was a lot of good and a bit of not so good with this vendor. The event manager was very difficult to get a hold of and at times I had to leave her somewhat threatening messages. She was also very difficult to schedule with she was not available very often. The phone system (which has not been fixed) was a huge problem and would tell you to call the number that you just dialed making it very frustrating to get ahold of anyone. However, it was perfect in that the manager was there the day before and the day of. She had everything set up for rehearsal. Basically I was very pleased with the fact that everything was set up and ready to go on time and I did not have to worry about any tear down. It is a beautiful venue and I loved it very much!

    A TOTAL NIGHTMARE!!!!! Brides beware this is not a place you want your ceremony at for the price!

    We felt so good about having our wedding at the Pavilion. Even though it was so expensive – we wanted it to be a memory that we would always cherish. People commented on how special and beautiful it would be to have it there. We had our wedding in the great hall on stage.

    How embarrassing and what a disappointment! A sad memory we will always have!

    The gift table skirt on backwards so the skirt faced the wall and the ugly back of the table showing – that’s the first thing our guests saw, dinner table clothes on lop sided - a few inches on one side and way long on the other and not just one, but several of them. What quality of help does the Pavilion have? Allyson even tried to stand in front of the gift table to hide it – when I bought to her attention ( this was when the mothers were being escorted in by the groom in for the ceremony) she said yes she saw it and would fix it. Too bad all our guests had already saw how particular and how much time was spent on details by the Pavilion for our event when they walked in to be seated. And why wasn’t Allyson checking on these things before the event even started? Allyson was never on site that’s why. She said she would be there the whole night, but every time we needed her she had to be paged and would show up 10 – 15 minutes later.
    Also during the ceremony the que's for the music was horrible when transitioning from our unity ceremony, and back to song when walking out. The wedding party and Josh and Meghan stood there and looked like complete fools after the ceremony had ended there was almost a minute lag before the music actually started playing to que them to walk out. How horrible does that look?
    Shouldn’t the Pavilion take more pride in their facility – their work? Is this common? The Pavilion puts on many events including concerts and what not..so how is it they couldn't get the music or slideshow to work seamlessly? I guess when I delivered the DVD and CD two days before our wedding they didn't have the courtesy to view it before to make sure the slideshow was in full color (like it was made), and the music was working correctly (when it had when I made it). I guess we should have sought out others that have had wedding in the Pavilion this summer. Ask them if this is how their event was handled. It is the Pavilion right? We thought we would get what we paid for! Funny they can take people’s money- do an awful job and you don’t even have a gun!!!!

    When one of your wedding coordinators ( I believe Megan was her name) walked past the head table and knocking the entire 5 ft. centerpiece to the floor with a radio she had on her hip – breaking five vases full of flowers, broken rented branches, broken hanging votives and crystals. She just left. We were left with picking up all the pieces and mess and going back to our left overs back stage to try to put something together. And this was when the guests were being seated at their tables. What a beautiful sight they witnessed and to be greeted with. That was just another sign of your lack of their professionalism. And yet they make no reference to us being compensated for this.

    It was so cold guests were going to their cars to get sweaters and jackets. I know of three times complaints were made to the bartenders or anyone we could find to tell. It took a long time before anything was ever done about it. Maybe if Allyson would have been there it could have been fixed a little sooner.

    Guests were talking amongst themselves and telling us after the ceremony how they couldn’t hear a word of the ceremony and after the slide show they were wondering why there were big blobs of red and green on the screen, and the music was so distorted you couldn't hear the music that was being played during the slideshow. But how crazy it worked seamlessly when I played it on multiple dvd players, and computers everything was perfect! I had spent weeks working on this slide show – making it perfect. Only to be ruined by their staff.

    As my parents sitting in the lobby of the downtown Holiday Inn listening to wedding guests as they checked in telling the clerk that they had been at a wedding at the Pavilion. The clerk telling them that it must have been wonderful and the guests responding by saying they couldn’t hear any of the ceremony and the slide show was bad bad color, and the music distorted. It made my parents feel so bad for us. We had spent so much time & money on this wedding. Do you know what it is like to cry on your wedding day? Not tears of joy, but because so many things are wrong – preventable things!

    It makes it so easy for the Pavilion to dismiss what went wrong by saying – well - we won’t charge you for this or that. What are we left with – sad memories – and anger. Is this what we paid for? What an awful experience, I would NEVER recommend this place of business to anyone. One positive note is that the food was great!
