We could not have imagined a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding than Wanderwood! Matt and Kelsey are wonderful hosts, and the property is absolutely stunning.
Our wedding had many moving pieces, and Kelsey was incredibly patient, helping us bring our full vision to life. She also provided day-of coordination, keeping everything running seamlessly with calm, organized guidance. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish.
We stayed in the farmhouse for the weekend with our friends, which made the entire experience feel cozy, relaxed, and truly special. Matt and Kelsey have updated the house to be modern and comfortable while still preserving its classic charm.
Our ceremony, reception, and the whole weekend at Wanderwood were truly magical. We can’t recommend this venue and team highly enough.

Tropical themed 60th birthday party in the barn - YES!
Matt and Kelsey are amazing hosts and create a beautiful, welcoming atmosphere for events at their farm. We had my 60th birthday party there in February, with about 60 people. They anticipated every need and managed to socialize and be on top of things in the kitchen before, during, and after our meal. They recommended the DJ we hired and he was awesome. Wanderwood is a special place and perfect for a special event. I've been to a summer wedding there as well and the gardens, filled with flowers, are stunning. -

We got married at Wanderwood on August 10th, and could not have been more thrilled with our decision to hold our special day there. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, I heard countless friends and family members assure me that with all weddings, not *everything* goes according to plan. I actually mean this when I say that every single detail of our day went off without a hitch, largely thanks to Kelsey and Matt’s incredible coordination. I cannot overstate how smoothly things went, both at the wedding itself but also during the planning process. And in addition to making our lives as brides easier, they also have created a venue that is absolutely magical. Guests were agog at the beauty of Wanderwood, and it was so wonderful seeing them walk through the flowers and produce farm during cocktail hour, taking in all of the beauty that Wanderwood has to offer. I couldn’t be more happy with how our big day went, and I’m incredibly grateful to Kelsey and Matt for all they do to make their home and farm such a special gathering place for so many people. -

Just Perfect
Wanderwood was the ideal setting for our September wedding - we got married in front of a field of flowers, ate under the stars, and danced until our feet hurt in a gorgeous old barn, just perfect!
Kelsey and Matt have created a beautiful venue and are the loviest hosts who made our special day possible by being so knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Look no further for a unique place to make your pastoral dreams come true. -

We had the most perfect weekend for our wedding this past August. The farmhouse was beautiful and so clean and had plenty of space for our wedding party and the barn was incredible.. the perfect setting for a fun dance party! We loved that there was so much to explore on the property; from the trail to the water, the boardwalk past the flowers/vegetable gardens and the intimate fire pit.. the place has it all! Kelsey and Matt were so attentive and made sure everything went smoothly. We would 100% recommend for anyone considering staying/hosting here in the future! -

A vivid treasure!
Wanderwood is a rare and exceptional place. A vivid treasure. The barn is exquisite, spacious, glowing. The organic farm is teaming with life, and Kelsey and Matt are the type of hosts that make you feel right at home. They are kind, clear and accommodating. Their creative and logistical knowledge is extraordinary and their warmth and intentionality is unmatched.
The barn and lush surrounding were the ideal setting for an art opening, launching a summer collection of hand painted works. The seamlessly renovated barn and its beautifully designed amenities made the experience smooth as silk. Wanderwood is truly a sanctuary. Could not recommend more fervidly. -

It is a sad but true cliché that weddings can be stressful events. Not so at Wanderwood. The minute we arrived at the farmhouse, we were instantly relaxed by the beautiful property and Matt and Kelsey's warmth, calm, and amazing organization.
The farmhouse is beautiful and easily accommodated ourselves and our six guest. We enjoyed relaxing and catching up with our families there on Friday afternoon too.
The farm and barn were a stunning backdrop for our event. We chose to have our ceremony in an untraditional spot and Matt and Kelsey were so kind and thoughtful about accommodating our request and making the site work. We loved having our band in the barn which was a fantastic dance floor for our 85 person wedding, and we even had space for a few tables for guests and favors in there too.
We were so happy that we asked Kelsey and Leah to manager our wedding weekend. They shared an extremely well organized and detailed plan of the wedding weekend before our on site meeting and we were grateful for all of their questions about how we wanted the day to go. They thought of many things we hadn't considered but were crucial to a smooth day! On the wedding weekend, they were fantastic. We didn't not worry about a single things as everything looked amazing and our guests were having a great time. The made everything seem effortless, which takes a ton of skill!

We had a beautiful wedding at Wanderwood. The barn is a gorgeous space, and the fields and woods were an amazing setting. Matt and Kelsey were wonderful. They made sure we had all the information we needed, and as the wedding day approached made sure they knew what our vision was so that they could help make it a reality. I would highly recommend Matt, Kelsey, and Wanderwood for your event! -

Perfect day
Our wedding at Wanderwood just couldn't have been more perfect. Matt & Kelsey made the planning process fun, comfortable, and stress-free--no easy feat during COVID. The weekend of, they were tremendously helpful and flexible as we adapted to changing weather conditions and vendor needs. The barn and farmhouse spaces are fantastic, comfortable, and beautiful.
Matt and Kelsey are two of the kindest and friendliest hosts you could hope to work with. They have worked tremendously hard to engender Wanderwood with an air of joy and warmth while leaving a light and respectful footprint on the land. As a result it felt like a completely natural environment in which to celebrate a day of love, family, and friends. We recommend them wholeheartedly and without a single reservation! -

Amazing Wedding Venue
We had a wedding at Wanderwood this past August and it was absolutely perfect. The venue was stunning, the hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and all of our guests were blown away at how magical Wanderwood is. My husband and I would highly recommend this venue for couples looking to get married in Maine. -

My wife and I had a top notch day at Wanderwood. We couldn't have hoped to have had more wonderful people as hosts as the amiable, conscientious, Matt and Kelsey. Our memories are cherished.
Matt and Kelsey have a sincere and unfaltering commitment to sustainability. This aligned with our outlook very much, and it was humbling to have our values expressed on the day through choices that Matt and Kelsey made easy. We avoided all instances of single-use plastic, which felt like something of a win for our event.
Communication with the hosts was prompt and personal – they really listened to what we were after and made it their mission to help. With the beautiful Maine woods and water abounding, the presence of genuinely kind hosts created a happy atmosphere for our guests to enjoy.
At the time of our event, the barn was undergoing renovation - the floor was plywood and some of the facilities were more "rustic" than the usual. The new space is beautiful so far (I understand renovations will be finalized in June 2020), and I look forward to visiting Wanderwood for a future celebration.
