    Incredible venue!

    Everything about this venue is amazing! They work to make your day perfect and the owners, Don and Susan, are absolutely amazing! I highly recommend this venue! My day was perfect and I owe a ton of it to them and my wedding day planner, Georgia!

    Excellent customer service and attention to detail!

    Claire was excellent to deal with. She always put the customers needs first. There was never a time during the entire process where I felt that we were not her main priority. This is such a large moment in life, and everyone wants it to be perfect. Claire made it perfect for us, the venue is absolutely stunning. We could not have asked for better accommodations on our big day! I cannot say enough great things about this venue or staff! Look no further for your wedding venue!

    Such a Great Venue!!

    Walnut Hill Harms is such a beautiful venue! The owners are so nice and were willing to help with anything. I highly recommend this venue.

    Beautiful Venue

    This venue is absolutely breathtaking. You will not find a better rustic/elegant venue then this one. Lynn and Randy are the sweetest and SO easy to work with. They went above and beyond to make sure everything we needed was taken care of. My wedding party and family absolutely loved the convenience of being able to have the rehearsal as well as rehearsal dinner at the venue. This venue was definitely everything I had dreamed about and more for my special day!

    Wedding 9/8/18

    Walnut Hill Farm made our dream wedding come true! It was nothing short of a fairytale! The owners and staff were SO kind and helpful. We cannot thank them enough! Hands down, the best venue around! 10/10 recommend them. The bridal suite was so nice for my bridesmaids and I to stay in the night before the wedding!

    Worth every penny!

    Randy and Lynn with Walnut Hill Farms were a dream come true for our wedding day! We couldn’t imagine anyone more humble and kind to take on this experience with. They made us feel like we were family, from the moment we first met up until our wedding day!

    The venue is gorgeous! There are so many beautiful places on this property. The set up for our wedding day was everything we wanted and more. The bridal suite... TO DIE FOR! I got to stay in it the night before the wedding and get ready in it for the wedding day. Being able to use the suite made everything stress free, knowing we didn’t have to travel places to do hair, makeup, etc.

    I wouldn’t recommend anyone but Walnut Hill Farms! Thank you for everything!

    Awesome venue!!!

    Pictures do not do this place justice!! I could have not picked a more perfect place to celebrate my wedding!! Lynn & Randy are so sweet and so easy to work with. They made sure we had everything we needed to make the day perfect! The property is so beautiful! Having the ceremony and reception all in the same place made the day/night go by so smooth! I can’t say enough good things about this venue! Best choice we could have made for our special day!

    My wedding was something I only imagined in my dreams and a huge part of that is due the the venue and the owners. Lynn is completely helpful and has great recommendations to help your planning as seamless as possible.

    A wedding is a special time for the couple, friends and family, but don’t kid yourself, it’s also one the most stressful times imaginable. With Walnut Hills Farm, Lynn and her staff you have eliminated dealing with inclimate weather, set ups, handling caterers. You get a beautiful facility (pictures don’t do the facility justice) that has countless options for the wedding and reception. Lynn will walk you thru every option and provide professional advice and assistance. In short if you want to enjoy the occasion, have a beautiful facility, and and be rid of stress, stop right here you’ve found the perfect wedding venue. Thanks Lynn,

    The people that own the property are fantastic. They were there for anything I needed, and were a great deal of help. I'm so glad to have had my wedding there, and undoubtedly would do it over again at Walnut Hill Farms!

    We had an amazing time and they were extremely helpful and accommodating. Even on a cold rainy day We were still able to have the beautiful outdoor wedding of our dreams.

    Our wedding was absolutely everything I have ever hoped & dreamed of! Lynn made everything a breeze and was always quick to respond, and so helpful! It ended up raining the weekend of my wedding, which was a total bummer for me since it was set to be outside. But of course, Lynn to the rescue, made me feel 100% okay with having to switch it inside. To my surprise I am so much happier it was indoors rather than in the GA heat! Was the best day of my life thanks to all the help from Walnut Hill Farms! I am biased, but I think everyone should get married here :)

    Venue is absolutely beautiful, rain or shine (we saw both)! Lynn and Randy were very helpful for everything we needed and even came to help with things they were not required to. I Definitely recommend this venue!

    Everything for my daughter's wedding was perfect, and a big reason for that was Lynn and Randy McKinney! Very professional and sp very helpful at every turn! And the venue is absolutely gorgeous!!

    This place is absolutely amazing! This was the first place my daughter saw and she didn't even want to look at anything else. We did though just to make sure. Of course we went back. The property is stunning and Lynn and Randy were such a pleasure to work with; They couldn't have been more accommodating. Everything was just perfect and my daughter got her dream wedding!

    May 13th 2017 was the most perfect day I could have ever dreamed of! Lynn & Randy were so helpful during this entire stressful wedding planning process and even gave us some awesome tips. I would get married here over and over and over. The property is just so absolutely beautiful, the land, the barn and the fields are stunning. Decor inside of the barn is so magnificent and elegant and makes for a classy, elegant, & tasteful evening. This is the place to get hitched. (:

    One word to describe my wedding at Walnut Hill Farms is BREATHTAKING!!! Lynne & Randy made my every wish come true! They are so professional and will do whatever it takes to make your wedding day PERFECT!!! Lynne made my wedding day vision come true!! Walnut Hill Farms is an absolutely stunning venue! I was looking for an outdoor venue for ceremony and indoor for our reception since I had a summer wedding. This venue fit mine and my husbands personality so well, rustic but yet elegant!     Our experience at Walnut hill farm was beyond amazing! The Venue is beautiful and the owners are so down to earth and willing to help in any way. Would recommend this venue to anyone wantin a beautiful outdoor wedding!

    Lynn and Randy, the venue owners, were wonderful to work with. I couldn't be happier with my venue choice! It is such a beautiful venue with many great locations to take pictures. The only thing I would have changed was the guys changing area. It didn't have air conditioning when we got married in August 2016. Had we gotten married in a cooler month I'm sure the guys wouldn't have noticed. Overall, I am very pleased with our venue choice. If I could do it again, I wouldn't change a thing!

    The venue was simple perfection! The property is beautiful & gives you the freedom to have "your" look. We went with the elegant rustic wedding so the Walnut tree, and the low lights gave us exactly what we wanted. The open barn has plenty of room to gather for fun while the big barn gives you space to sit and enjoy dinner. There is no other place that I would choose after our amazing experience at Walnut Hill Farms.

    Lynn and Randy are so professional and go above and beyond to be helpful. They took extra care to make sure every detail was just right.
    I also appreciate the kindness with which they looked after guests getting from the parking area to the venue itself.

    My only negative that I have is there was very bad internet connection for my DJ, so his play list had a lot of trouble playing my songs I wanted.

    The McKinneys are amazing people offering a BEAUTIFUL AND AFFORABLE venue. My wedding was perfect a huge thanks to them setting everything up and making my job as a bride so much easier

    Walnut Hill Farm was the perfect place for my wedding! I was looking for an outdoor venue in a rustic setting that also fit within our budget. The wonderful thing was that not only did we save money, but also ended up with BEAUTIFUL inside ceremony on a rainy wedding day.     Randy and Lynn were great! They were there to answer any questions I had during the planning process, and helped set up for the rehearsal/wedding! On top of it, the venue is gorgeous!

    This breathtaking (and I do mean breathtaking) venue is tucked away in Jefferson, GA. The couple that owns it has your best interest in mind! They are passionate and professional about helping the couple truly have their "best day ever". The venue has the option of indoor/outdoor wedding. Either way you do, it's gorgeous! You can also host special events there too! Pictures from our wedding were so good because everywhere you turned, it was a beautiful backdrop! I feel blessed that I found this place for my special day!

    Lynn & Randy were incredible throughout my entire wedding process. They are the sweetest people, & would do just about anything to help you! They handled so much of the set up & clean up, regardless of the fact that they had a family medical emergency the day before my wedding- Lynn maintained communication with me through it all & kept checking to make sure everything was going well at the venue. Lynn also made time to meet with me to answer tons of last minute questions & figure out logistics. The venue is absolutely STUNNING. I mean really, the most beautiful place ever. I would 10/10 recommend this venue for your event!

    Great...But pay attention...

    First off...The venue itself is very nice. We feel it was very high priced and that their "$1000 off" promotion was ridiculous, taking the venue itself from $6495 down to $5495...Especially when they charge so much for everything else. There is mandatory coordinator that they charge you $850 for, they also charge $400 for the bridal room and the $400 for the groom room for the day of, they misled us into thinking that we would be able to provide our own alcohol, which we find out after signing the contract that they "don't allow that anymore" and that the girl who showed us the venue "was mistaken". We had 110 people there, and the bill just for Chapman Hill was $10,215...That did not include ANY of the vendors.

    Again, its very pretty place to get married...We loved it! BUT...here are the reasons we give them 3 stars and not 5...

    1.) You pay $400 for each the bride and groom cabins for the day ($800), and they literally took our stuff out of the rooms starting at 6pm, when we had a 5pm ceremony. When we expressed our concerns, Susan sharply says, "Its in the contract. Its in the contract."...not even allowing me get anything out of my mouth. She then continues, "We need to get everything out so that our cleaning people can come. Also, we don't want anything left behind, so thats why we do it this way." I can tell you...things were left behind, things were lost, and it cost us money.

    2.) The groom's cabin...nobody bothered to turn on the heat before we arrived. We started arriving at 10am the morning of the ceremony to a cabin that was 45 degrees...not kidding. By the time 6pm rolled around, temperature inside was at 62 degrees. Also, though the bridal cabin was probably well worth the $400, that grooms cabin was NOT! Hardly any space to get ready, they have 4 TVs on the wall, which seems cool, until you go to change the channel and they all use the same Roku remote...hahaha. We finally just gave up on the cabin and walked outside.

    3.) LISTEN...YOU HAD BETTER INSPECT AND TAKE PICTURES OF EVERYTHING YOU USE THAT IS THEIRS. 3 weeks after our wedding, I get an email from Don, the owner, stating that someone from our party damaged their "plastic wicker" furniture. He sent me pictures and the damage that was done, there is no way that anyone from our party caused that. There were full strands of the plastic missing, pieces obviously cut very sharply off to remove hanging strands...this damage was done throughout the life of that furniture. Bottom line, when raised that concern, they charged me for it anyway, taking it out of my deposit. 3 weeks later, and how many events after ours, and they bill us. They probably charged everyone else too...got themselves new "wicker" furniture from Lowes.

    4.) The $850 for the coordinator, meh. The coordinator was nice and all, you're sold a bill of goods that she will always keep a drink in your hand, we won't have to worry about anything, "I'll be here making sure everything goes smoothly,"...Not really. We had to get our own drinks, we find out 3 weeks later furniture "was damaged by our group", shoot...As the groom, I only interacted with her 4 times that whole day. We had to ask if we could go down to the fridge and grab a few beers. LOL. Oh Well.

    Just know, that although the owners are super sweet and nice up to the day of the ceremony, giving you premarital booklets, super responsive, explaining "everything" to you, when push comes to shove, they are running a business, and you are a paycheck.

    New Owners - I do NOT Recommend

    NEW OWNERS of venue - I do NOT recommend

    Preparation Day (day before wedding) – Below are some details of our Walnut Hill Farms experience
    • Green non-working algae pond with blue filter on a hand pole – I had to ask staff to clean the pond, add water, put shock in it and turn it on immediately so it would look nice for the wedding day (next day) for the photos — their response was the pond has a leak and they didn’t know we planned for pictures at the waterfall and pond even though I specifically said it to the host when viewing the facility. Also, who would not want to have pictures there? Per the agreement, the pond/waterfall is available for pictures.
    • The fire pit at the waterfall was full of rain water. I had to ask for the water to poured out of the fire pit – their response was the fire pit pan is hot (due to the sun)
    • There were multiple dead roaches or wood bugs on the reception hall floor that scared my granddaughter so I had to clean them up
    • Cob webs in the facility corners, bathrooms and cabinets so the wedding planner asked staff to clean them – staff responded stating they didn’t know the cabinets would be used and had no explanation for the others.
    • Dirty windows and mirrors – the wedding planner asked the staff to clean multiple times – staff expressed frustration but did clean them
    • Linens were not on the tables during first 2.5 hours of setup so I began putting the linens on so we could proceed with the setup of tables – staff began to help after we asked multiple times
    • No extra toilet paper in restrooms so my daughter had to ask for more to be put in the restroom – staff put additional paper in the restrooms
    • During rehearsal— 4 venue family members sat on the front porch making us feel rushed. Rehearsal started at 6:00pm and they turned lights off in reception hall at 6:15pm stating they thought we were done in the reception hall. For the last hour they sat on the porch making us feel rushed and like we had to be done by 7. We had until 8:00pm per our agreement.


    Wedding Day
    • No WIFI and very poor cell phone service. No phone available for use. This not safe in case of an emergency. It took over 30 mins and lots of frustration to order pizzas due to the poor/no service.
    • After the wedding and within the first 10 mins of taking photos, the staff asked if they could begin taking up the last 3 rows of chairs – the wedding planner agreed but the staff removed all but 4 chairs (we stopped them before they took them so the handicapped family members could use them to sit) which was distracting and resulted in not being able to take pictures some of the pictures that was on the photo list
    • After the event was over at 8:15pm, the family cleaned up the facility. Per the agreement, we had until 11 pm to complete the cleanup. At 8:45pm, the staff seemed to pressure the family to finish up by stating we need to begin cleaning out the bridal suite when we were still cleaning the reception hall. We were done with reception hall by 9:00pm and bridal suite by 10:05 but had until 11:00.
    • There were 20+ mph winds that broke branches out of live trees that almost hit guests and damaged a guest's truck. When looking at the sign with the onsite manager, she agreed the storm with high winds caused the sign damage – now, the owner is stating the onsite manager is not qualified to make that decision and charged $140 for an old sign that the wind gusts blew down and broke
    • Bugs were bad outside so we had to purchase bug spray and make it available at the ceremony and cocktail hour.
    • What is the definition of excessive cleaning? Mopping where a beer was spilled and wiping off a piece of furniture is considered excessive clean up and charged 2 hours at $100/hr which is inexcusable for a simple wipe with a wet cloth or mop
