We loved our officiant Zack!
We had Zack as our officiant and we couldn’t say enough great things. We did the premarital counseling with him and he drove an hour to meet us halfway since we live so far. He was so kind and personable. Our wedding was in the pouring rain and not exactly ideal working conditions for someone, but he knew it was important to us and adapted with us and we couldn’t be any more grateful. Walter the owner sent us so many scripts to help us have ideas of our own, and we loved that because it helped us personalize our own ceremony without having to write a whole script ourselves. Walter was the best choice for our wedding. He helped us with preparations leading up to our big day by answering all our questions, offering advice and guidance, helping us piece together our wedding script, and taking part in our wedding rehearsal. Highly recommend using Walter as your officiant! He was super easy to work with and very personable. You are able to customize your script and give him specific details on how you want your ceremony to go. Walter was amazing to work with! As a couple who does not belong to a church, we wanted to find an officiant who would get to know us and be a special part of our day. We wanted to go through premarital counseling to deepen our understanding of each other, become better at communicating, and discuss what we want as a couple in the future. Walter took the time to get to know us and invested in us as a couple, and by the time of our wedding, he felt like family! He was very organized and professional in his approach to our counseling sessions, and he provided tons of resources for us. Walter also helped us customize our ceremony and provided many different options for us to choose from, which was incredible! I felt like our ceremony was a true reflection of the couple we are. Water was very communicative, allowed us to create our own ceremony script, was very unbiased and judgement free of what we wanted to include and exclude from our ceremony. He also provided templates for you to create your own comments and edits as a starting point. Offered a create marriage building experience. We hired Wah Joy about eight months before our wedding. We had Walter as our officiant in Lawson, MO. We were kind of far away from where he is based from but he gave us an initial call and got to know us and our story. Walter was the most amazing and nicest guy we could have had the pleasure of having as our officiant. He did a wonderful job making our ceremony script something truly unique to us and made our day feel so special. I absolutely loved having him at our wedding and I hope more and more people get to experience the joy of Wah Joy!

Our Wedding
Reverend Walter with Wah Joy is truly one of a kind! From our initial phone call, we felt confident he would help us create a beautiful ceremony script. The part of the experience that I valued the most with Wah Joy is how much Walter cared. He has such a kind heart, is so fun and enthusiastic! He helped us create a ceremony script by displaying precious scripts that had been used in past weddings. My husband and I would find statements from other scripts that we liked and he’d help summarize a similar piece for our ceremony. He had ideas to make our script even more special to us. He was receptive to our requests.
He was always flexible to help meet, or even text. Our guests commented on how unique and beautiful our wedding ceremony was, truly would not have been complete without the help of Wah - Joy. 100% recommend, hands down! You will not be disappointed.Wah Joy's reply:

Perfect ceremony
Walter was such an easy choice for our officiant. From our initial contact to the signing of our marriage license after the ceremony, he was a joy to communicate with. He was so warm and friendly, and made sure that our ceremony was exactly as we envisioned. He really took the time to get to know my husband and I beforehand, so on the day of the wedding, it felt like he was someone who really could speak from the heart. Exceeded all Expectations! Wonderful!
Walter exceeded our expectations for an officiant for our marriage. We wanted something personal, faithful. Walter was the perfect officiant for us. His open communication style, how he helped us organize our ceremony, how he got to know us personally, how he guided us through the customization process, it left us feeling so thankful we found him. I highly recommend Walter from Wah-Joy! He took the time to get to know my husband and I, and he wrote a beautiful script for our ceremony. He was very accommodating with incorporating a reading that was important to us and helped us with the flow of the service. In addition, my husband had a few counseling sessions with Walter in which he provided guidance and food for thought on topics that we may have not considered otherwise! Amazing officiant!
Walter was an amazing officiant and he made the process so easy for us. He has such a sweet soul and he felt like a family member at our wedding. He was truly so happy for us and so thankful to be apart of our special day. He met with us beforehand to go over what we wanted/didn’t want in our ceremony and he really took the time to make it our own and add every detail we wished for. I wouldn’t have chosen anyone else.

Professional and Provides Scripts
Brandon was our Official at our wedding and he did a great job! We worked with Walter during most of the planning process and what I liked most about Wah Joy was that he had so many script templates (religious and non religious) to be able to make our ceremony script exactly how we liked it. He was very responsive and professional! We did the very basic package for $350 which was a little more then I was wanting to spend but it was the script templates and the great reviews that sold me.Wah Joy's reply:

Just an FYI about pricing…While amateur officiants and individuals simply looking to make a few dollars may charge a couple as little as $100-$250, the average fees for professional officiants typically range from $400 to $1000 depending on experience and the level of service and customization they provide. Hopefully, this can help.
