Brayer was our site coordinator and she was so wonderful. She helped the planning process go smoothly and helped with decorating before the event. Prices were very reasonable. The location was breathtaking and our photos all turned out lovely. Ample dance floor space and the food was to die for! What more could you want from a venue!?

Brayer and her team were amazing start to finish! The food was fantastic the views of Spanish moss and the intercostal waterway made for the perfect backdrop for our big day! It was beautiful from start to finish, professionalism was top notch and the bartending and serving staff were accommodating and friendly! Highly recommend this venue!

We recently held our ceremony and reception at Wachesaw Plantation. Brayer, the banquet and catering manager at Wachesaw, and her staff were exceptional. Throughout the planning process, Brayer was there listening to our wants, needs, and providing insight to make sure our day played out just how we hoped. It rained all morning and early afternoon the day of our wedding. We kept in close contact with Brayer to determine if the ceremony would be inside or out. We took a gamble, decided to do the ceremony outside, and we had the full support of the staff. Everything was set up perfectly, and the rest of the day just fell into place. From the great food, to the handmade made old-fashions, to the kind and professional staff, to Brayer with the support and backing the day of and help and guidance leading up to the wedding, Wachesaw Plantation exceeded our expectations. The best decision that day was marrying my now wife; the second best was choosing Wachesaw Plantation as our wedding venue. Again, thank you everyone that was involved with our day.

We were recently married on The Bluff at Wachesaw Plantation in October and had our reception at Kimbels. Brayer and her team were fantastic. Not only was Brayer so responsive and helpful leading up to the date she was there all night for the wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. Her team and the chef at Wachesaw created a menu special for us that included a gourmet grilled cheese bar that our guests are still raving about a month later. I highly recommend this gorgeous venue if you are looking for a stunning backdrop and a professional and friendly team with phenomenal food. Can't thank everyone enough for making our dream come true.

THIS IS THE BEST VENUE. Brayer and the entire staff at Wachesaw are nothing short of amazing. Not only did our wedding ceremony and reception go flawlessly in our eyes, but we got so many compliments on how everything went. Everything from the beauty of the venue to the amazing people who worked it. I would not have changed a single thing about the choices we made. The food is amazing and the setting is gorgeous. Brayer is so easy to work with and makes the entire wedding planning experience fun and relaxing.

Our wedding at Wachesaw Plantation was absolutely PERFECT! The views were SO breathtaking from the live oak trees, to the hanging Spanish moss, to the relaxing Waccamaw River. The grounds were immaculate and we loved that there were so many different areas for our guests to explore - the bluff where we had our ceremony, the lower deck, the upper deck, the veranda, the porch, the tavern/bar area, and of course the main dining area. Since all of our guests were from Pennsylvania, Virginia, and California, they were truly in awe of the southern beauty that Wachesaw offers! Our wedding photos are GORGEOUS!!! But, Brayer, the event coordinator, was the best part about our experience here! I cannot say enough good things about her. She is SO incredibly kind, relaxed, calming, professional, and great at what she does! All of our guests were from out of town, so we constantly had family and friends wanting to visit the venue. I am sure this was annoying, but Brayer and the staff were always so accommodating! I also e-mailed her with a million questions before our wedding and she always responded promptly and professionally. Our wedding day went so smoothly - all thanks to Brayer!!! I could write a novel but, Wachesaw Plantation is the most stunning location with excellent service! Thank you!!!

I recently had my wedding at Wachesaw Plantation on March 22, 2014. My ceremony was on the bluff beside Kimbels and my reception was at Kimbels (all within 100 ft of each other). Kimbels is a waterfront restaurant on the Waccamaw River in Murrells Inlet, and the bluff beside Kimbels is a beautiful grassy area overlooking the river, with large oaks all around with spanish moss in them. It is literally your ideal Southern location. We were simply in love with this location and I could not be happier with my decision to have the wedding there. Jessica, Wacheaw's event coordinator, was fabulous and made everything we wanted to happen, happen. The camellias were blooming, and it was a wonderful 71 degrees outside. The food, booze, service were all amazing. I HIGHLY recommend Wachesaw, not only because it allows you to have the best of both worlds (on the river and close to the beach), but the service and hospitality was amazing and definitely worth EVERY penny. I literally cannot say enough nice things about Jessica and her staff at Wachesaw!! I would use them all over again if I could!!!

Wachesaw Plantation is such a beautiful venue. Right on the Waccamaw River leading into the intracoastal waterway. Beautiful live oak trees and the feeling of the old south is everywhere you look. The staff is so eager to help make the day beautiful as well as memorable. Amazing Events Manager, Jessica and fantastic chef, Adam Shelley. You will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough about Wachesaw Plantation and especially Brayer, our great catering coordinator. If you are looking for an elegant Southern wedding but don't want to spend an outrageous amount, consider Wachesaw... we were totally pleased with their work!
