Stephen (in collaboration with his wife Yuliya) is a fantastic photographer – easy to work with, flexible, and very high quality. From our engagement photos to the wedding day, they gave us photos that took our breath away and really captured the spirit of the moment. Stephen and Yuliya worked well with our videographer and even managed to capture a beautiful sunset wedding photo on one of the rainiest days this summer. We highly recommend W Studios and are so happy with the photos!

Stephen and Yuliya were the perfect photographers to capture those special moments on our wedding day! They were very professional and knew exactly what shots we would want, capturing so many beautiful candids of not only us, but our guests as well! Our photos are stunning, they look like they could be in a magazine spread! They also captured all the small, special details of our day which is so important for us to remember! Cannot recommend them enough!

Stephen and Yuliya did an absolutely beautiful job. We could not be happier with how our wedding photos turned out. I have looked through them countless times, and I am still in awe! From start to finish, they captured the true spirit of our wedding. It is clear that each and every photo was carefully crafted. The wedding day flew by, but my husband and I are able to relive some of the most special and fleeting moments that Stephen and Yuliya so perfectly captured in photos.

Stephen and Yuliya were also great to work with. They were kind, funny, respectful of our time, and professional, and they made us feel so comfortable and relaxed. I can say with confidence that choosing W Studios was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding.

Steven and Yuliya were a breath of fresh air. From the start they were easy to communicate with, up front about terms, and accommodating to our schedule. They took the time to discuss what we wanted and executed it perfectly. Our engagement session was beyond what we could have hoped for, and our wedding photos were even better.

Two things of note, Steven and his crew were not only punctual and professional, but also able to seamlessly navigate our complicated, large family and reel in our large bridal party with ease. Having a photographer you are comfortable with and confident in their abilities surrounding you that day is invaluable. Secondly, our make up artist was over two hours late, putting excessive strain on the course of the day. I was disappointed when I realized there would be no pictures of me and my mother together in the getting ready process, as she was stuck in the make-up chair while I was putting my dress on and getting out the door. But when we got our pictures from W Studios there it was! A perfect capture of a fleeting moment when my mom was walking out and looking at me. W Studios will not disappoint.

Stephen and Yulia are amazing! They and subtle and not the "in your face" type of photographers - which we love. We truly appreciate their artistic and creative talent. They are warm and welcoming and make you feel very comfortable. This is the 3rd family wedding that they have photographed - they feel like family!

We selected W Studios as the photographer for our wedding a couple of months ago. Stephen was responsive throughout the process and a pleasure to work with throughout our actual wedding day. The photos are absolutely gorgeous! They really capture the beauty of our venue, our happiness that day, and the fun our guests had! We were extremely happy with the photos and are so glad to have these forever as a memory of our wedding day.

IN LOVE with all of my engagement and wedding photos from W Studios! Super easy to work with and communicate with. Made sure to ask about special photos I wanted throughout the day and captured some really great candids. Yulia and Stephen are a great team and awesome to work with. Highly recommend!

Stephen and Yuliya are an amazing team! We are so happy with our photos. Our friends and family couldn't have had nicer things to say about them. Stephen and Yulia were incredible in every way. It was definitely one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning. Both our engagement photos and wedding pictures were absolutely stunning! They were able to take two awkward picture takers and turn us into models! Stephen captured candid moments at our wedding that were beautiful. I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Love Stephen and his team!

W Studios was my brother & sister-in-laws photographer and I immediately wanted to book him as well. Our engagement pictures are amazing, and I'm anxiously waiting for some wedding day pictures.

If there were an option for 10 stars W Studios would earn it! We were so incredibly satisfied with the service provided by Stephen and Yulia for our special day. They made us feel comfortable, which for my husband (I get to say that now!) was so important since taking pictures isn't exactly a natural process for him. Starting this search wasn't easy...you stalk websites, look for reviews that relate to your style and concerns, try to find pictures where you hope to say, "That's what I want!", but ultimately when you meet the person capturing this important day, you know they'll make every detail you have worked so hard over a memory you can treasure forever. Stephen and Yulia went beyond this. Also...get the photo booth!!! Everyone had such a blast using it, and getting the pictures gives you a sneek peek of unsolicited smiles, genuine fun and new friends made during the wedding!

I am so happy to have had them by my side that day. If I could do it all over again I wouldn't change a thing. To all those future newlyweds...enjoy this fun time and if your looking for the best, you found it in W Studios!

My husband and I had the best experience with Stephen—besides being an excellent photographer and producing amazing work, he is easy to work with and has an awesome/soothing energy about him. He was one of the few photographers I spoke to that wasn’t concerned with the number of hours we wanted in the package—he assured us that he was there to capture our wedding day, and wasn’t going to stress out about the number of hours. On the day of the wedding Stephen showed up early and had plenty of time to set up. He was able to roll with everything that came up throughout the day and was great with our bridal party. It’s not an easy task rounding up 11 bridal party members but he jumped right in. I would absolutely recommend him for any wedding.

Looking back on our wedding I would say the most important choice we made was choosing W Studios as our photographers. The day may only last a few precious hours but the photos are what stay with you. Because of the artistry of Stephen and Yuliya we have a timeless and perfect account of our most special day. I use the term artisty because they are able to capture moments in a way that perfectly depict our relationship. Nothing was forced or manipulated and we were left with beautiful, authentic memories from our day. Besides being incredible artists, they are also very kind hearted people who were a pleasure to work with. I am proud to have had them as our wedding photographers and look forward to working with them again as we celebrate more life moments.

I would recommend W Studios NY to everyone!!!! Stephen did an absolutely amazing job photographing our wedding, we could not be happier with the way that our pictures turned out!! Stephen is such a pleasure to work with and you can tell that he really enjoys what he is doing, it shows in the pictures that he takes. He did such a great job of catching all of the emotions of our wedding day with so many candid pictures. They are stunning! All of our family and friends are so impressed with our pictures!!

In addition to amazing pictures, W Studios NY offers great services for their price and really fast turn around time, we received our pictures back in less than 2 months!

We booked Stephen over Email as we live in the UK. We found him easily enough at the city clerks office, even with all the other photographers around! He was great guy and guide! He helped navigate us around town to fulfil the paperwork before we could get down to taking some serious photos! He was very patient and had a great sense of humour! All the photos are amazing, we are extremely happy. Highly recommend!

Choosing a photographer for our wedding turned out to be the most stressful part of planning. There are so many photographers and studios to pick from in NYC! I wanted to make sure I get the formal shots I wanted to give our parents, the candid shots showing the emotions of the day as well as pieces of art I can cherish for years to come. We received everything we wanted from Stephen and then some. He is friendly, flexible, and responsive. We met several times and had a engagement session. This allowed us to be comfortable and natural around the camera (something my husband was very nervous about). W studios is a great value and I would recommend them to my friends.

Stephen took absolutely gorgeous photos at our wedding!! I highly recommend him if you are looking for more than the standard wedding photos. So many of his photos of our wedding are pieces of art!

Stephen is truly an artist. I was blown away by the photographs from our wedding and cannot say enough good things. Professional, friendly, and all around great team that W Studios New York has! I didn't make any type of must have shot-list and I still received all the pictures I wanted and more. I was elated to see a sneak peek of pictures only a week after the wedding. Have and would recommend a million times over.

W Studios is a wonderful photography studio. Both Stephen and Yulia are fun, professional, and so at ease that you can't help but feel as though a good (but very talented) friend is taking you picture. The quality of their work is just wonderful - capturing absolutely every emotion of the day impeccably. Another perk of working with them is the extremely speedy turn around time for proofs - what eager bride doesn't love that?

I can say with confidence that working with W Studios NY was the best and easiest choice when it came to planning our wedding. I adore Stephen and Yuliya - working with such a lovely, talented couple only added to the fun we had on our wedding day. The style of photography is incredible and fit our desire to have a more candid, relaxed approach. Since we've received our online gallery, we are told time and time again that our photos are right out of a magazine! I do not believe I have seen more incredible wedding photos, ever. We are beyond thrilled to see the memories of our day look even more beautiful through the gifted work of Stephen and Yuliya. Though we did not order our album yet, W Studios NY timeline in creating one is flexible, which is great. I would 100% recommend W Studios NY and would choose them for any event moving forward. Worth every single penny, and we were happy with the price.

Where can I begin? Other then saying that W Studios did an AMAZING job photographing my wedding!! My husband and I couldn't stop talking throughout our honeymoon about how much fun Stephen and his fiancé were! We decided to get a Photo Booth and the guest didn't stop talking about how much fun it was. They set it up outside and we have amazing photos of EVERYONE! The other assistant they brought to help with lighting and the Photo Booth was amazing too. My husband and I got the link to the Photo Booth pictures as soon as we landed in Hawaii for our honeymoon and relived and enjoyed every moment. I could go on and on about how flexible and a pleasure W studios was throughout our special day. YOU NEED TO BOOK THEM NOW!! You won't be disappointed!!!

For my husband and I, choosing a photograher was the easiest part of our wedding planning process. After we saw Stephens work and met with him we knew it would be a perfect fit. Stephen and Yuliya are amazing and they did an excellent job photographing and editing our wedding photos. On your wedding day, it is essential that you have a great photographer who will get the shots without being intrusive. I have been to several weddings where the photographers were extremely bossy and rude which was not what we wanted on our big day. I was so glad to have found Stephen and everyone in our bridal party and families loved him! Stephen and Yuliya are a pleasure to work with and I highly recommend them for any wedding!!

Beautiful Pictures. Amazing Team!

I’m so glad we went with w studios. We couldn’t have asked for better pictures. Stephen and Yulyia make such a great team, plus they were so easy to work with. They are prompt, professional and all around pretty awesome.
We had our engagement session in the winter and Stephen was a trooper braving the cold for the perfect shot. It was so much fun it felt like we were hanging out with a new friend. Stephen made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. (We normally hate taking pictures).
For our wedding they were able to capture the candid shots as well as the formal portraits my parents wanted. It poured during our outdoor ceremony but no need to worry as they had a back up camera and captured every dripping moment. We got our pictures ~6 weeks after the wedding, which is a great turnaround time.
I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

Just, WOW! Stephen and Yulia's photos from our wedding are absolutely stunning -- they captured so much of the true spirit, love, fun, and happiness we and our family and friends felt that day. Going through the photos brought back so many emotions, and we are beyond thrilled them! Stephen and Yulia, you two are the best -- thank you, thank you, thank you for letting us relive the day through an amazing set of 1,200+ pictures! We also worked with Stephen for our engagement shoot, when he willingly traveled to the college campus where I met my husband to capture extremely meaningful, and beautiful, shots. Can't say enough about W Studios!

Stephen was everything we could have asked for in a photographer. From starting out with us being very uncomfortable in front of a camera, he offered us an engagement photo shoot in New York City and spent plenty of time getting to know us as well as the type of photos we wanted. If we hadn't done that I think being in front of a camera on "the day" would have been much more nerve-wracking! He was very willing to adapt his style to the style of our wedding - we really wanted vibrant, colour-saturated, well-lit, natural style (non-posed) photos and he was able to do this exactly and didn't dictate as some other photographers we talked to did.
On our wedding day he and his assistant were professional and unobtrusive (nothing worse than having someone in your face as some brides do!) and when we saw the photos, we were blown away. Our family loves them too.
While we haven't done the photo book yet (he offers this more modern take on the bridal album), with the great photos we have to choose from, I'm sure it will be great.
I think Stephen's rates were very reasonable given the quality of his product. In addition, he was a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend him as a photographer in the New York downstate area.

Beautiful pictures! We just received our wedding photos and we are absolutely thrilled. Stephen and his assistant, Yuliya, did an amazing job at capturing the whole night. Our venue was partially under construction on our wedding and Stephen scouted out some really cool places to take photos just a minute's drive from the venue. We stayed on schedule and had some great, nontraditional pics! We're really happy we chose to work with them for our wedding and engagement shoot. Highly recommend!

W Studios did a fabulous job with our wedding photography. The entire process was very smooth and Stephen was easy to work with and flexible. The day of our event was seamless and W Studios worked well with all the vendors to provide a spectacular day. Once we received our pictures from our wedding day we were very pleased. The day was captured exactly how we had pictured. We would use W Studios again and recommend them to others.
