To refer to Vivian as simply a 'makeup artist' would be woefully inadequate. For us, she was a sounding board, logistics coordinator, and a one-woman expert on the Vermont wedding scene. I cannot imagine a more considerate human being.
Not being local to Vermont, it was important to us to be able to schedule a satisfactory hair and makeup trial since we likely would not be able to make the journey from CT a second time if anything went wrong. Vivian worked her logistics magic with our hair stylist so they could work in tandem, and even gave my wife a ride to her makeup studio once her hair trial was over.
We were not your typical brides; we're of the earthier sort. Vivian made us both feel beautiful and like ourselves. She uses only the best makeup and false eyelashes and thoughtfully sends you home with a makeup kit of your very own! I'm leaving a review of not only the best wedding makeup artist in Vermont, but of someone I now consider to be a friend. -

Vivian is amazing! I originally hired her for my wedding, but when our plans changed, she was so understanding and accommodating, stepping in to do my engagement photos instead. From the start, she was warm, funny, and felt like an old friend. She also gave me great skincare tips and was super accommodating with my request for natural makeup—she knows the natural makeup and skincare world so well. She even went out of her way to bring me a foundation sample for a performance, which was so thoughtful!

Wonderful makeup artist
Working with Vivian was amazing. She did makeup for me, my two sisters, my mother, and my mother-in-law. She was incredibly communicative throughout the whole process. We did a trial ahead of time which I really appreciated because we got to know one another and try some things out so makeup on my wedding day was completely smooth and stress-free. The best part was I felt like I looked like myself on my wedding day, which is what I wanted. I would 100% recommend working with Vivian!

Vivian is such a talented make up artist and kind person. The first time I spoke to her I felt at ease. She asked to meet in person to get to know each other, to see my skin in person, and get to understand what my vision was for the wedding. Throughout our time together, she was amazing at communicating, thoughtful, and really took the time to make sure I felt heard. I cannot say enough good things about Vivian. Viv was amazing! She brought a wealth of knowledge and experience but also brought so much kindness, humor, and calmness to my wedding weekend. My mom, sister, mother-in-law, and I all loved how we looked and felt and we all got so many compliments! None of us wear a ton of makeup generally so it was important for us to look like ourselves/natural and Viv totally nailed it!! I cannot recommend Vivian highly enough. In addition to making me feel more beautiful than I have ever felt (and in my opinion, all of my bridesmaids and family), she helped me find my hair stylist (Erin McKenna, who was also wonderful) with a VERY short lead time before my wedding (we were married in October, and we hired our hair stylist in either late August or early September). I simply would not have had the dream wedding that I had without Vivian's help.
She was so diligent and meticulous in her preparation (and her execution was flawless) - we had multiple calls and emails regarding my vision and style, she adhered to all COVID protocols to make everyone feel safe and taken care of, and she also asked thoughtful questions, well in advance of the day, about my family's and bridal party's varying sensitivities regarding makeup style and application. As someone who does not wear a lot of makeup, I was very concerned about being too made-up and not recognizing myself. I can honestly say that on my wedding day, thanks to Vivian, I had never felt more beautiful.Vivian E. Infantino's reply:

Vivian is one of those people that instantly makes you feel at ease. Her calm and caring demeanor could keep even the most stressed out bride relaxed. She was professional and responsive. Vivian really got to know me and connected on a personal level leading up to the big day, calling and video chatting to talk about my overall vibe and the look I was going for. I appreciated her level of detail. She listened to what I wanted during my makeup preview and delivered on the day of the wedding. The way she applies makeup complements your natural beauty. I truly felt like the most beautiful version of myself.
Vivian was also incredibly organized and provided individualized makeup kits and brush sets for everyone to keep, following all safety guidelines and protocols to keep myself and my mother safe during COVID-19. My mother is someone that rarely wears makeup, but Vivian did an incredible job putting my mom at ease and making it low pressure. My mom looked radiant and stunning!

We eloped last Fall and we were traveling from out of state for the ceremony. We found Vivian on Wedding Wire and after a few phone calls I was sure she was the right fit for us. She was so down to earth, flexible and attentive. It was everything I could have ever wanted out of makeup artist. She came right to our inn and was so professional while remaining warm and approachable. I love her!!! -

Vivian is amazing! I got very lucky and was able to hire her later in the wedding process when I realized I would need two makeup artists to get through my big wedding party. She is so friendly and has a very calming presence. She is also incredibly talented. My bridesmaids looked amazing and she listened to each of their requests.
In the lead up to the wedding, she gave thorough information and was very responsive.

So I did not actually use Vivian for my bridal services, unfortunately, with scheduling we were unable to make it work. I did want to make mention of Vivian's kindness and professionalism. After realizing we couldn't work together, Vivian went out of her way to message me her best referrals. She continued to ask questions about my style and preferences to be sure that whoever she was recommending aligned with my vision. I think this speaks volumes to her character and professional alone!

Vivian Infantino is absolutely the makeup artist any bride would hope for. I cannot speak highly enough of her. Her makeup is romantic, subtle, and calibrated to every woman's best advantage. When looking for a makeup artist, I found most to be a touch heavy-handed; I think Vivian strikes the perfect balance between making brides look natural and special, like the best versions of themselves.
Vivian was incredibly knowledgeable about makeup, skincare, and beauty, and was a wonderful resource for me leading up to the wedding. She took such time and care to get to know me before the big day, and was both receptive to my thoughts and a wonderful source of ideas. She was professional, easy to communicate with, and flexible. On our big day, she arrived early, took her time with everyone, and was such a great source of grounding and sanity for me!
I couldn't have been happier with my experience with Vivian, nor can I praise her highly enough. I feel so lucky to have had her on my team. -

If she is available, there is no other make-up artist for you. Vivian is outstanding in every domain a bride could hope for. Firstly, from day one she understood what I wanted and come day of the wedding executed it flawlessly. Her ability to do make up is the best I have seen in NYC, BOSTON, Vermont, and beyond. I looked natural and like the best version of myself that I could hope for- as did my bridal party. I know many other brides who have been lucky enough to use her this season and they have also looked stunning and felt lucky to have Vivian.
Skills aside, she is warm, communicative, supportive, knowledgable, cool, patient, and just a great support throughout the entire experience. Whenever I had a question she had the answer- whether it be changing my skin routine over the summer or wedding etiquette- she was there, immediately! She also makes things easy and communicates with other vendors so your day is organized and stress free.
She is also absurdly generous with her supplies and her time! Again, she is always in communication and also makes sure you are PERFECT. I also have so many cool products that she just gave me along the way. From skin care to lip glosses from my day! She also personally found me someone to do facials in my area when I did not know where to do.
I would liken Vivian to a cool and talented wedding Fairy Godmother. I could write forever. But in summation, she is a perfectionist and an artist (down to your brows!) She is kind and warm. She is talented and modern (always trying new make up lines). And she will always be a pleasant support leading up to your day. I am so glad I chose Vivian!! Vivian is truly talented and amazing to work with! She has worked with me & my bridal party over the course of nine months leading into the Wedding and during the Wedding Weekend as well. Viv has gone above & beyond - she brought my vision into life by providing exceptional makeup on Friday for our engagement photoshoot & rehearsal dinner and on Saturday for our Wedding Day.

Carolyn Sent on 11/08/2017Vivian was FABULOUS! I don't wear a lot of makeup so I wanted a makeup artist that would listen to me and make sure I looked like myself on my wedding day. Vivian listened, was flexible when I suggested colors and products and needed a last minute trial, she responded to emails quickly and she even ended up doing my mom and mother in law's makeup for our rehearsal dinner. I highly recommend using Vivian for your big day!

Julie Sent on 10/05/2017When my daughter (the bride) asked me if I wanted to get my makeup done for the wedding I responded "Not really". As a 59 year old, this reaction was because I wear very little in way of eye make up and thought I would look like a clown if someone else did. Vivian was a complete professional. She questioned me about my preferences and makeup habits prior to applying any makeup. She reviewed what she envisioned as her goal for me and executed to perfection!!! She even instructed me how to smile to look the best in photos. I was so impressed that I even had the hairdressers do my hair last minute (I have short hair and didn't think I needed it professionally done) I felt like Cinderella after Vivian was finished!! Highly recommend her!

Lindsey Sent on 10/18/2016Vivian is lovely! From the beginning she was very attentive and took a personal interest in making sure my, and our bridal party's makeup was perfect. It's clear she is whole-hearted in her business and her profession. She asked for Pinterest boards, photos of our gowns, pictures, etc to make sure her makeup choices were premeditated and a perfect match for each girl. Quite the in-depth service!
Our preview was lovely, and she took care to listen to any tweaks I requested and we worked together to find solutions so that day-of makeup was perfect.
Day-of, she was on time, focused and lovely. All of my girls, and my mom, mother-in-law and myself were all glowing and beautifully enhanced.
I would recommend Vivian to anyone!

I am not someone who wears makeup so it was very important to me that my makeup artist make me look like me for my wedding. I wanted to include the women in my family in the makeup as well if they wanted to. Vivian was incredible. She was so flexible and responsive and gave a lot of great advice from being in the business beyond just having to do with makeup! My mom loved her and she was so respectful of our wishes as a family. Vivian is incredibly talented as a makeup artist and in connecting with people. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a down to earth, talented, respectful, balanced person to contribute to the beauty of your wedding day or anything else! -

It is true, when Viv does your makeup, you feel like there is barely anything there and yet you are beautifully transformed. Viv truly provides a personal and professional service, I traveled to her to do a trial run and she went through my make up with me and we created a lip color that was exactly what I was looking for. She traveled to my wedding to do my make up and 4 of my bridesmaids. I gave her pictures of my bridesmaids before and she worked with all different skin tones and needs. After I did some photos with my bridesmaids she did touch ups, and she made sure we all had tiny refills on lip color. She is so calm to sit with and chat about life and she obviously loves what she does. My make up was good all night, my false lashes stayed in place and I remember getting back after the party and looking int he mirror and thinking, dang I am a sweaty mess and I still look flawless. She is more responsive than the average wedding vendor and she was beloved in my crew by every member of my wedding party--the moms, my sister, and my friends. She is wildly positive, interesting, fun to be around, and excellent at her craft. She is open to suggestion, very thoughtful and tailored in her approach, and extremely organized. She is quirky and fun when you spend time with her in person, but when it comes to contracts, finances, and details, this woman gets it done and gets it done well. She was a vital part of my wedding day and I cannot imagine working with anyone else. Thank you Vivian. What a pleasure it was to work with her!
