This is the best String Quartet I've seen live! They made the wedding so magical and lively! The most fun I've had as a bridesmaid! Seeing people run over to dance or sing songs they didn't know would be played was really fun. The mix of songs were perfect! They were all so nice as well and professional!

The Perfect Wedding Music!
We knew having a DJ would not fit our personalities or the vibe of our wedding, so we decided to book Vivace for the whole event. We are so glad we did!! They did an amazing job of varying the music throughout the night. The quartet was beautiful for the ceremony - many tears were shed! For cocktail hour and the reception, they incorporated drums and played more modern, upbeat music. During dinner, they played softer background music. We had several guests tell us how amazing the music was, and we completely agree!! It was exactly what we were looking for and set the tone perfectly for the night!
Sarah and Julianna were easy to work with throughout the booking and planning process, even when we had a few last minute changes to make. We also had their drummer emcee for us since we didn't have a DJ. He did a great job of making announcements throughout the night.
We can't recommend Vivace enough!! They played a huge part in making this the best day of our lives!

We wanted to book a musician group for our ceremony and cocktail hour on during our December 2024 wedding. When I discovered Vivace and their repertoire of music, I knew we had to work with them. Amazing Music!
If you need live music for your event, you absolutely need to consider Vivace Live. For our wedding, we chose their string quartet for the ceremony, pianist for the cocktail hour, and string quartet with drums for dinner. They learned a new piece for the ceremony and played exactly what I wanted during the bridal entrance. The dinner music was exceptional, with guests singing and dancing before the dance floor opened! We've received many compliments and requests for their contact. Investing in high-quality entertainment was worth every penny.

Played the space perfectly
I hired Vivace Live for my wedding ceremony and reception. In a challenging room with virtually no sound deadening, they immediately played the perfect volume to bring life to the room without intruding on conversation. Their selection of music was both elegant and intriguing. They made beautiful compositions of a few songs we had requested. Vivace was everything we could have hoped for to make our cocktail hour unforgettable. They were easy to communicate with leading up to the event and played everything we asked for while filling in with other songs that fit our style. We're so grateful to have been able to work with Vivace. Sara was really easy to work with from our first introductory call all the way up to our wedding day. The Fiddle & Fray duo brought the Bridgerton vibes to our wedding at Hershey Gardens, and we really appreciated how Vivace worked with us to make sure our first dance was a special song choice at the right tempo! Highly talented and professional group. As a former touring musician I can say that their level of musicianship is incredible. Their arrangements of contemporary songs were amazing. Upbeat and fun, they kept the dance floor packed with their take on songs from Bruno Mars to Michael Jackson and beyond. Excellent quartet for full reception
From the first phone call with Sara to the last note played at our daughter’s wedding reception, Vivace Live exceeded our expectations! They are one class act in every aspect - extremely professional, exceptionally talented, excellent communicators and flexible to our desires for the reception. Vivace helped to create a beautiful, unique, and fun atmosphere at the reception! We appreciated that the drummer also functioned as an excellent emcee for the evening. Our desire was to have live classy music that was danceable and many of our guests enjoyed dancing under the stars to Vivace’s extensive song repertoire. Talented, Creative, Adaptable, and Fun!
At our wedding this past weekend, Vivace created a memory I will never forget. Our nephew's favorite song is the Hot Dog song from Mickey Mouse Club House, and after hearing my Sister in Law hum the tune, Vivace gave a perfect rendition of it so our nephew could have a dance party! This quartet could not have fit our wedding any better. They were professional, talented, and read the room perfectly from volume to actual music played. They expertly played requests of songs and created a beautiful and vibrant atmosphere all while adeptly balancing the fine line of not blending too much in the background to not be heard, and not playing too loud to drown out conversation.

One of the Top Highlights of My Son's Wedding
The Vivace Live String Quartet gave an amazing performance for both my son's wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I'm so glad we decided to have them perform with a drummer at the cocktail hour as it really enhanced the sound to a fun, lively, entertaining atmosphere. They played all kinds of popular songs that had been selected by the bride and groom. The guests raved about their sound and talent.
They were very professional and easy to plan with as they answered all of my questions and provided good suggestions when asked. I received soooo many inquiries and compliments about this group.

Pure magic and beautiful talent!
As a wedding planner and fellow wedding vendor, I knew I needed Vivace for my wedding. I have worked with this talented group many times at other weddings so I knew the amazing talent they would bring for my own day. Our favorite part of the process was looking their large repertoire to pick out the songs that would make our day extra special. The best string quartet
I decided later into the planning process that I wanted live music, but as soon as I did, I found Vivace Live. I used them for ceremony and cocktail music. From the start, Sarah and the team were extremely responsive and easy to work with. The team is very transparent with prices and procedures, which I really appreciated. Their repertoire is phenomenal, they truly had songs for everyone . On the big day, the team was FANTASTIC. They sounded phenomenal and my guests could not stop raving. A Highlight of Our Wedding
Vivace Live was an absolute highlight of our wedding day! Having live music was at the top of our priority list for our big day, and the package they offered fit our needs perfectly. We were in communication with Julianna during the planning process, and she answered all of our questions and provided us with a well-organized system to share our song requests. One of the things that really stood out to us was the large selection of songs across different genres. From our very first interaction to the very last song played at our micro-wedding, Julianna and the Vivace Live team made the entire process seamless. If you’re looking for the best live musicians around, stop what you’re doing and book them NOW! Vivace Live made our day pure perfection, and it’s hard to put into words how truly amazing our experience with the String Quartet was.
Julianna's experience was recognizable from the start as she guided us through the planning process, answered all our questions, and gave recommendations that made our small celebration unforgettable. She provided us with a well-organized portal that allowed us to find all our details in one place and even checked in frequently to provide help as needed. Within a few emails, our wedding day was planned and ready to go, with no issues whatsoever OR any worry in my mind.
We got married on a Thursday, and this fit into Vivace Live’s availability! The day of our wedding, the musicians arrived early to set up and coordinated with our wedding planner without hesitation. They provided prelude music before the ceremony began as guests arrived and were seated. All our requests were met without question- we requested special Groomsmen music during our ceremony and extended our contracted playing time. For the cocktail hour, we sent in the genre of music that we enjoy the most, and the musicians created the most perfect playlist to play- not having to create the any type of full playlist lifted a huge weight from my shoulders (as the bride)! The musicians were also dressed professionally, and their equipment was extremely well-kept.
To my surprise, Julianna was a musician that day and greeted me with big smiles and kind words. The entire team expressed their gratitude for spending our special day with us and that alone spoke bounds to my husband and I. The Vivace Live musicians are extremely talented musicians, we still have friends and family talking about them. We cannot thank Julianna and the entire team enough, we would recommend The Vivace Live String Quartet to everyone a thousand times! Thank you for playing such a special part in making all our wedding dreams come true!
P.S. I work at a wedding venue and Vivace Live is a preferred live music vendor- for every obvious reason! I could not imagine working with anyone else except Vivace Live! 😊

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Vivace, where to begin? Signing on with Vivace was easily one of the best decisions I made for my wedding day this past July. Sara provided such clear communication throughout the entire process and even through my various postponements - handled every amendment with grace and professionalism. Ever since I was a little girl dreaming of my wedding day, I knew I wanted to perform the Ave Maria at my ceremony. Sara openly welcomed the opportunity to come rehearse with her and her team in her very own home to ensure that we all felt comfortable with the performance and to ensure that it would be nothing short than absolute magic on the big day! Leading up to my wedding day, Julianna oversaw the day-of logistics and the transition between them both was seamless. I had seen a group from Vivace Live at a wedding years ago, and was so impressed that I HAD to have them for our wedding! I was initially sold by their repertoire selection - I loved the idea of having popular music played by instrumentalists. From the beginning, Julianna was very communicative, professional, and friendly. I was impressed by their extensive repertoire list, and so excited by all of the song options! The entire planning process could not have been easier - the portal they use to plan is very user friendly, and any questions I had were answered quickly and clearly. As the date got closer, I was concerned about the weather and temperature for the day, but they were very flexible and communicative so we could come up with a contingency plan. We didn't end up needing it, and Vivace was such a welcome addition to our day! They played before the ceremony, for the walks down the aisle, and during cocktail hour, and all of our guests were very impressed. Vivace Strings is the special touch you need for your wedding!
We were married on October 1st, 2021 and Vivace Strings quartet played during our Ceremony and Cocktail Hour. I always knew that I wanted a string quartet for our wedding ceremony, but wow I could not have been more impressed and I am SO happy that Vivace Strings was a part of our day. Their repertoire offers an extensive range of genres stemming from classical music to pop and everything in between, the song selection process was such a treat! Vivace was beyond accommodating, I had a very specific song I wanted to walk down the aisle to and they were able to find the sheet music and learn it for our wedding (it was a dream come true). Our wedding day was truly magical, and Vivace Strings played a huge role in making it that special. All of our guests raved about their performance as well. We cannot thank them enough!

Amazing Strings Duo and Custom Arrangements
We felt so lucky to be able to work with Vivace Live for our intimate garden wedding. Not only were they amazing through the planning process, they also worked with us on two custom arrangements (Crazy Love by Van Morrison and Forever Young by Bob Dylan) to make the day feel so personal. On top of that they were able to accompany my very talented sister in law when she sang Make You Feel My Love. They added so much grace, lightness, and art to the day—and just helped make our ceremony feel that much more meaningful and sacred.

Everything I imagined but better!
I reached out to vivace just two months before the big day and luckily they were able to accommodate. I felt our wedding need just a little “something” to class it up! Julia was prompt and professional in getting back to me and providing their repertoire. I was able to completely customize our ceremony and cocktail hour down to every play by play. They truly added the elegant touch that we wanted for our big day. The musicians were professional and lively. I promise, you won’t regret hiring vivace!

We were so happy that we chose to use Vivace Live for our wedding. They were recommended to us by our wedding planner. Let’s just start out by say that this year was not the easiest year for wedding planning. But, Vivace made it easy for us. Sara was easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, and even helped me make the list of songs that we wanted played. Herself and the other musicians that played for our wedding did an amazing job! I remember getting ready in the bridal suite and I could hear them playing for our guests, it was so beautiful and it actually calmed me before I had to walk down the aisle. My husband and I would 100% recommended using Vivace Strings for any event.

Beautiful string quartet for our special day!
We chose Vivace for our ceremony and cocktail hour music and the music was absolutely beautiful! It added to the elegance that I had visioned for our ceremony with classical pieces and our guests enjoyed the music played during our cocktail hour. On our big day, we went to the ceremony room before the start of the ceremony to take family pictures, they were just warming up but they played so beautifully. I remember starting to even tear up then. Leading up to the big day, Julianna was always responded promptly to my emails and any questions that I had. Thank you so so much for being a part of our special day!

We hired Vivace for our ceremony and cocktail hour music and they were absolutely beautiful. Truly added such a special touch to our special day! We had two violins, which was perfect and they played beautifully. Sara was very responsive from the very beginning and answered any questions I had. It was easy to pick songs we love from their extensive repertoire. The musicians were dressed nicely and were prompt and professional. Vivace Live Strings was Amazing!
Hands down one of the best choices for our wedding. We went with the violin/cello duo for both our ceremony and cocktail hour. The music sounded beautiful and our guests really enjoyed the music as well. We are still hearing compliments from our guests on how the music fit perfectly for the ambience of our wedding and it made it that much more special. Our primary contact was Julianna, and she was awesome to work with. She was very prompt and responsive to our questions and emails. Their repertoire for a string duet had so many options as well. You cannot go wrong with Vivace Live. We highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed!!

Very experienced and talented musicians
We had our wedding at Wyndridge Farm with an outdoor ceremony so we knew we wanted ceremony music that would fill the space. When we discovered Vivace we were very impressed with their repertoire - they have a very vast range of musical styles. Sara Irvine was so great to talk with and listened to an entire playlist of songs I sent to her to potentially use for the wedding. It was obvious that she takes the job very seriously and genuinely wants to make everything perfect for your special day. One of the main reasons we chose them is because they were willing to arrange/learn a few new pieces for us and they added a guitarist and did an amazing job with the song. She also let us know when they were going to be playing and even tried out the new piece when we went to see them at Tellus! The guests really enjoyed hearing them play and we are so thankful that we chose them! They are extremely talented.

The perfect extra touch!
Vivace Live String Quartet added the extra touch to our day to make it more elegant, more magical and truly a true dream come true! We had them play during our ceremony and cocktail hour and it's something our guests are still talking about to this day! They were SO easy to work with, Sara responded to our emails quickly and professionally. She did a great job making sure she knew exactly the kind of music we wanted played. Every request we made, we heard! And they continued to play songs that fit in perfectly with the vibe we were going for. They have a huge playlists of songs and even will do custom arrangements!
There's something so special about walking down the aisle to a live quartet & having your guest find their seats as romantic live music is played, it really takes your wedding day to the next level. Vivace Live was perfect & I'm so thankful we made the investment to have them a part of our day! Thank you guys so much!

Gorgeous, Magical String Quartet!!
I will never forget, after my husband and I were engaged and started our wedding planning, before we chose our venue or anything else, he came up to me with the laptop and said "this is my one request." And that was how I first learned of Vivace Live. We spent the rest of the night listening to their sound clips on their website, and I wondered, "do you think they sound as good in person?"
Flash forward to today and I can tell you having Vivace Live at our wedding was one of the best decisions that we could have made. It was a wedding gift to ourselves and our guests; their beautiful music added an elegance and magic to our rustic venue that made the day truly special. We had guests of all ages (from under 2 years old to 90) and backgrounds; Vivace Live was loved by all!! Their music is timeless with a great selection of songs ranging from classical to contemporary, celtic, film, religious, jazz...something for everyone! Sara and the other musicians themselves were friendly and professional; very easy to work with and a pleasure to have at our wedding. Highly, highly recommend!!

I had the opportunity of hearing Vivace Live at my friends wedding. I knew immediately after hearing them, that I wanted to book them for our wedding. Sara was very helpful in assisting us to choose songs for our wedding. Vivace live amazing
I had Vivace Live play at my wedding last weekend. I chose a duet, a flute and violinist to play together for roughly an hour. They were BEYOND AMAZING. They had clear communication with me the entire time prior to the wedding, they practiced for my actual wedding ceremony, they were punctual, friendly, and very accommodating. The actual day of the wedding they were the biggest highlight to our ceremony. There was a wide selection of music I could choose from , a lot of it was present day music and there was a mix of classics. Vivace Live played music at the start, middle and end of our ceremony. Our guests continued to comment on what a lovely touch they added to our special day. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to enhance their ceremony, reception or party!

It was an absolute pleasure working with Sara Irvine and Vivace Live. We used a violin duet for our wedding ceremon and they did not disappoint! Sara was extremely responsive and helped us with deciding song for our violinists to play. My husband and I married in May 2018 and we reached out to Vivace Live to play music at our wedding ceremony in Lancaster, PA. Throughout the entire process, Sara (the owner and director) was responsive and very helpful! They're repertoire list is diverse and extensive, providing clients plenty of options to choose from. Sara also helped with arranging music and making recommendations, depending on your preference and desired theme. Having a quartet at the ceremony really added a unique and intimate touch that a DJ would not have been able to provide. We were told by guests how much they enjoyed the music, and how beautifully the quartet tied the ceremony together. Unfortunately, I only heard a couple songs (being the bride), but what I heard was what I imagined and more. It was such a moment standing there with my Dad, listening to them play through the barn doors before we walked down. The musicians are so talented and we definitely hope to see them play again at a future performance.

If you are looking for a great string quartet, you should absolutely choose Vivace Live! They were incredible. They have such a large repertoire with a diverse selection of songs. They play everything from the classics to very new modern songs and do such a great job with it all. From the beginning stages of planning and throughout our wedding day, they were so sweet and helpful. If you have your heart set on a song, they will take the time to learn that song for your wedding day! They did this for us and we appreciated it so much. We got so many compliments on how great they were! Even our 9-year-old cousin said he loved them and wanted them to play at his birthday party. This was one vendor I did not have to worry about: they provided absolutely beautiful music, showed up on time, worked with the pastor beforehand to get the timing right, and worked with me early in the planning process to make sure all the music was exactly what we were looking for. It was starting to rain before our outdoor ceremony and she put me completely at ease by assuring me that at least one of them would be able to play if an umbrella was available. Luckily that was not needed, but I felt much better after her suggestion. All of the guests enjoyed the classical music and the renditions of the modern songs they offer. I had the quartet play for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. I was very pleased with this group!

It was a year before our wedding and my now husband and I were struggling to plan, be proficient at our jobs, and finish our degrees. We were under a lot of stress; and although Vivace gave us a deadline to provide them songs, they never once chastised us for being late. They simply pointed us in the right direction, took calls at 10pm, responded to emails quickly, and all around were there for us when we found the time. I often hear that brides miss the music because they are so busy with other things and I made sure I was able to hear them. For 30 minutes I had the pleasure of being completely calmed down by the sounds of Vivace. The music they helped me pick was perfect and being able to listen to it was exactly what I needed to take on the rest of the day. Look no further. You found your string quartet. They were worth every penny!!!

Vivace Strings provided our ceremony music for our wedding on September 20, 2014. We opted to use their violin & cello duo, and they did a wonderful job! I couldn't have been happier with their performance. Sara was also very easy to work with and made the whole process a breeze. They were also very accommodating, as I wanted to walk down the aisle to Moon River, and they were able to arrange the music for me. My only disappointment was that I didn't get a chance to experience more of their playing! I highly recommend hiring them!

Vivace Strings provided ceremony music for us on our June 20th, 2014 wedding. I worked through the entire planning process with Sara and she also played the music for our ceremony on violin along with a fellow guitarist. Sara was so great to work with! She truly went above and beyond to make sure we had the music we wanted played for our ceremony. My husband and I are huge Beatles and Zac Brown Band fans. Sara mixed pieces from our favorite artists into the mix along with some other "pop" sounding ceremony music. The flow of the ceremony with the music was seamless! I had a string trio at my wedding and it was absolutely beautiful. I didn't really notice them on the wedding day (which was a great thing!) other than hearing their music! I was very pleased. They're easy to work with also.

We hired the Vivace Strings Duo (Piano/Violin) for our small candlelit wedding at the chapel in St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Lancaster. They were absolutely a perfect choice to provide the music. Sara sent me a long list of selections to choose from, and we worked together to finalize the choices from my favorites. I chose all classical pieces, but they have a variety of genres in the list. On the day of the wedding, they were outstanding! I had them play extra music both before and after the ceremony as well as the standard processional, recessional and unity candle lighting. Our guests were very impressed, and I would not hesitate to give Vivace Strings my highest recommendation for any wedding or other event.

Vivace Strings did a fabulous job at our wedding ceremony! I would highly recommend that you hire them for your event. They were easy to work with and accommodated all of my requests. One thing that really stands out is their enthusiasm as musicians. I was in contact with a couple of the members at different points in the year and both were helpful, personable and warm. I felt like they would really create a beautiful mood for our wedding and knew that it was one less thing to think about when everything got hectic. On the day of our wedding, one of our photographers made an unsolicited comment about how good they were and said that they were better than the other popular string quartet in the area (and, fyi, they even cost a little less)! Our guests also commented on how lovely the music was. I only wish that I was in the room during the prelude so I could have enjoyed all of their work!

She assisted me with choosing music and was extremely patient when I changed my mind several times. When I heard a song I wanted to walk down the aisle too and it wasn't on their repertoire list they learned it for me for free. Highly recommend to anyone. Their music is absolutely beautiful.

If you think you can’t afford a string quartet for your wedding, think again. Their prices are very affordable, and they are willing to work with you. They also have a large repertoire to choose from. We hired them for the ceremony and the cocktail hour. I can’t tell you how much they added to the atmosphere. Everyone commented on how beautiful the music was, and I couldn’t agree more. It was incredible walking down the aisle with my dad while the string quartet played “Canon in D.” This was a dream come true! All of the musicians were very professional and friendly. I will recommend them to everyone.

Best Decision Ever!
At first, my husband and I were unsure about the added expense of whether to hire a string quartet or not for our Wedding Ceremony. Well, we are soooo glad we did! They were so easy to get in touch with, and were open to letting us choose music that truly represented US. With the help of Vivace Live, our Wedding Ceremony and cocktail hour was that much more special! They sounded excellent and a lot of our guests still comment on how lovely the ceremony was! Best Decision Ever!

I booked Vivace's string quartet for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. I have only wonderful things to say for the girls that played at our wedding. The music repertoire list is quite extensive, including classical, Irish/Celtic, movie scores, and pop hits. They were willing to incorporate a new piece into our wedding recessional and were very professional. Our guests loved the song selections and talent Vivace displayed. We were married in York, PA however Vivace plays in the surrounding local states as well. I would highly recommend their services for your wedding music it was all we could have hoped for.
